Morning came too quickly for Link's liking. His body sung with the lasting pleasure from last night. Mentally, he still had to get use to the fact that Ghirahim was his now, or at least for now. Physically he was fine, and he was practically plastered to Ghirahim's body, laughing to himself.
"What's so funny?" Ghirahim asked, and his voice was rough with sleep. Link felt him press a kiss to the crown of his head and pull him close.
"You said you were going to wait until we would do such a intimate thing, in your own bed." He smiled. "Not that I'm complaining."
"I couldn't wait any longer, and I wanted to make sure if you were going to be taken from me, at least I had a chance to have you alone for a night." Ghirahim smiled and Link had to let out a laugh. "Well, I'm going to make sure we can make the best of our nights together. We won't have sex through the night, but we'll at least make sure both of us climax."
Link blushed and looked down. "I think we need a bath." He felt dirty, covered in sweat and grime and his own release. Ghirahim tilted his chin up and kissed his lips softly and his other stroked through Link's hair slowly.
"I think we have need of a bath as well." He teased, leaning in, his eyelashes fluttering against Link's cheek. The hero smiled and kissed him quickly. Intimacy had come quickly to them. A little too quickly, but it felt natural to be with Ghirahim like this.
Ghirahim was the first one to pull away, rolling around to sit up and get to his feet. The nude demon lord strode over to the bathroom door and clasped the knob in his hand, pushing the door open. He smirked over at Link. "Coming?" He prompted to the hero and turned, entering the tiled room.
Link let out a huff, scrubbing a hand across his eyes to wipe the last of the bleary feeling that continued to penetrate his field of vision and got to his feet, trodding across the smooth wooden floor of the room onto the carpeting that led into the bathroom's stone tiling, a ceramic tub sitting against a wall, and after Link had entered, still blearily shuffling over to the toilet to answer the call of nature, Ghirahim started running the bath. How the water was managed to be carried to this place and run like that escaped Link. But then again, he had been exposed to running water in stranger places.
The demon sighed, finishing up his duty, and he looked over at Ghirahim, who rolled his eyes and nudged Link out of the way to do his own business, Link looking away awkwardly, trying to ignore the sound, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment, and sat nervously on the edge of the tub. It was just a little embarrassing hearing Ghirahim partake in such a human action, as he had assumed that Ghirahim had never needed to piss before, but Link had to take that assumption back, as his own body was telling him otherwise that he still needed to fulfill bodily needs.
Ghirahim was odd, but endearing, and Link's heart almost stopped due to the fact that this amazing puzzle was his right now. His for now, but it was possibly a borrowed time. Link had no idea how long this time of peace would last, when the intimate moment would end. Link didn't want that. He didn't want Ghirahim to leave his side, or his life, and when Ghirahim sat beside him, Link's hand lashed out like a snake, and gripped Ghirahim's hand and refused to relinquish it.
A humfph of a laugh reached his ears and Link glanced up to see Ghirahim smiling at him. "What's wrong?" He asked softly, and Link sighed.
"I don't want to lose you." He admitted, his head hanging against his chest. He had made that point clear several times, but it was one that ate away at him until there was nothing left to think about except the fact he would lose Ghirahim and then he'd be alone and bound to someone he would hate and hate and hate until the end of time, forced into the sword and kept there -
Ghirahim's thumb sweeping over the dark skin covering his hand broke him out of the train of thought and Link looked up again before pulling Ghirahim close to him and sobbing for dear life. His demon hummed, tugging him with him as he moved to sit in the water, and pulled Link away for a moment to shut off the flow, cradling Link like a child, and the demon clung to Ghirahim, placing his ear against Ghirahim's chest, hearing the sure thump-thump of his heartbeat. Ghirahim made Link feel safe.
And for that, he was thankful. He did not know what would happen to his mind if Ghirahim was taken from him in any matter, and he sighed, running his hands through the water around them, expecting the dark skin to make a huge difference in the way it felt on his body, but it still felt the same as it had before, no major differences to be felt on his body.
Ghirahim made him worry and stress over a topic that was most likely something that wouldn't happen. They would die trying to keep each other safe, or die together.
"If I am stolen from you, try to stay alive and steal me back, Ghirahim." Link commanded. "I am not a treasure stolen from them and they are trying to get me back. If I am but a treasure, I am yours."
"How poetic." Ghirahim mused and Link punched him in the arm. He laughed before there was the sound of water splashing around, and Link felt his hand moved down his back, washing him. "Now, be a good boy and pipe down, let me concentrate on washing your body, oh great demon."
The demon was a downright jester at times, a fool to his cause, but Link had to admit he was his harlequin.
Ghirahim's hand continued to splash water down Link's back, washing the last few day's grime off of him. There was no soap in the room, and Ghirahim smelt like he never used soap, so it was something Link did not need to worry about, and he just let his mind wander, pressing his ear against the thrumming of Ghirahim's heart.
Eventually, although Link was unsure if he was totally clean or not or Ghirahim had just grown bored of rinsing the dirt off his body, the rythmic rise and fall of his hand splashing water across the spans of Link's back.
"We're just running but now we have a new task and that's to fight the other monsters that had once been the kings. I expect the water tribe shall not take kindly to us, nor the mountain people." Ghirahim spoke, breaking the vocal silence. His face was indifferent. Not a single deeper crease of worry lining his pale face.
Link sighed. "The amanza and the ntabe?" Link asked and Ghirahim laughed, pulling away from Link and reaching over to pull the stop so the water could be let from the tub.
"Amanzi and ntaba peoples, Link." He ruffled his hair and reached down to cup water in his hands and dousing Link with it. The younger man let out a laugh, wet hands going up to slap them away, and Link sat back on his thighs, away from Ghirahim, looking over him with a high regard.
"I really like you." Link told him after a moment. Really like only had a small sliver of truth to what the emotion was. After all, Link had a very deep affection for his demon. Had he admitted that he was in love with the demon yet? He couldn't remember, but if he had, he wasn't going to tell Ghirahim now.
Ghirahim smiled. "As do I." And he leaned over to kiss Link's forehead before climbing out of the tub and reaching for a towel. He turned to leave the room, letting Link sit in the tub alone with the draining water.
The demon scrubbed a hand across his eyes before doing the same.
A sudden sound made him jump, the door to the inn room slamming open, and Ghirahim calmly turned to the source of the cause, watching as Hilda toed the door back open after it had shut again, having swung back into place.
"Pardon me, but I have some clothes for you, Ghirahim." Link noticed the bundle of cloth in her arms, and she walked over to the bed, smirking at the mess of sheets. "Who's the one with the strong grip? You tore the sheet a little." The Lorulian princess placed the clothing down on the bed and fingered a flap of fabric.
"Most likely Link." Ghirahim laughed nervously, and Hilda turned, giving the two a look.
"I see what you two did." She shook her head. "I would have never expected men to be your thing, Ghirahim. Not since you used to be all for the opposite sex." A sad light was in her eyes.
"Ghirahim?" Link asked him, clutching onto the towel around his hips. "What does she mean?"
"I had a fiancée before the war, before I became a living weapon." His voice was quiet, strained even. "One guess to who it was."
Link's lips pursed and he looked at Hilda. "It was Hilda. You were engaged to her, weren't you?" Ghirahim gave him a single nod.
"And then I learned that I liked men a little more than women. Yes, there are nice looking women and all, but the would be marriage was nothing but political. After all, it would be best to have the future Queen of Lorule and the weapon of the King married, as the King usually does not take a wife. Turns out Demise just had a lust for power, and the lust for control over either sex." He touched his bicep, wincing as if there was something clenched around his arm.
"I broke the engagement off before he went to war, after he had changed. His clothes he used to wear a lot are there." She pointed at the clothes. "And I'll keep your red cloak safe. They're looking for red and white, not purple, black and beige." She then placed a well worn pair of boots on the bed.
"Stay safe. There is going to be a huge threat against you two, so feel free to go take whatever you want from the shops. I'm sure the keeps wouldn't mind our Lord and his companion taking things if it is to support the greater good. The greater good being their well being." Hilda shrugged before turning to walk out of the room, giving them a look over her shoulder before shutting the door.
Ghirahim turned to the clothes and looked at Link. "Get dressed. We should leave shortly. Especially if we want to restock our equipment, or get some new ones, especially food. We don't knowe where we are going to get food next. I doubt the other towns we need to go to will be in any shape to get supplies from."
"If I hadn't lost my stuff, I'd have a few extra things for fighting supplies, but now I don't have my bomb bag and even if you knew where those creeps put them, you won't be able to get it because you're a human now and I'm the human." Link swung his arms around before sighing and pulling on his own clothes.
He glanced over at Ghirahim when he finished, seeing him pull on the cloak, hands fixing the part around his shoulders and the hood. His hands went to the gold fabric clinging to his hips lovingly. Link wandered over, placing his hands over Ghirahim's, watching as they stilled in the movements they were going through, and Link smiled at him.
"We'll be alright. We will get back to Hyrule and we will evade them. I'll be fine." Link told him, leaning up on tiptoe to press a kiss against pink lips. "You'll keep me safe until your last breath, and I'll keep you from taking your last breath through this ordeal if I can do anything about it. Come on, let's go to the shop, Ghirahim."
His demon smiled, brushing his nose against Link's silver hair, pressing a kiss to the crown of his head. "Yes, let's."
