Hey guys! This is just a short little drabble I thought of after watching Frightmare last night. Like, I just don't believe that after the whole thing happened, Danny and Sam would totally just ignore the whole situation about the dreams and stuff. So here, *shoves it into your hands*

"I got to say, Nocturne was an evil creep, but I wouldn't mind having my dream again. I could get used to that." Tucker said eyes dreamy.

"Me too. Yale professor? What's not to love? How about you two?" Jazz asked Danny and Sam who were sitting beside her on the dock.

Sam gasped. "I uh..." Danny started. "I don't even remember what my dream was about," he continued shakily.

Sam mimicked Danny's tone and said "Me neither." The two of them smiled forcefully.

"Really? That's too bad." Jazz said looking out onto the water.

"Oh yea well, dreams, gateway to the subconscious, I don't think so." Danny replied.

Sam continued, "Yea, dream on!" The two of them looked at each other and looked away, blushing.

Tucker and Jazz exchanged confused looks but shrugged. "We should head back before our parents realize we're gone."

Danny laughed. "Like Mom and Dad will realize we're gone until we walk in the front door. We can tell them we went for an early morning sibling bonding walk or whatever."

"Same, my parents are more or less used to me being gone at random times during the day." Tucker said, and Sam nodded in agreement. "That being said, school is in two hours and I'm going to go have a nap."

Jazz nodded. "I'm not tired but I'm going to go do some studying. You two coming?" She asked the other two.

"Nah, I'm actually going to go back into the factory and make sure everything is okay, like we didn't leave any ghost weapons lying around. I can't seem to find where I put my extra thermos." Danny said gesturing towards the building.

"Okay Danny. Make sure you make it to school on time."

"I'll keep an eye on him for that." Sam said standing up to follow Danny into the factory.

"See you two later!" Tucker called and grabbed Jazz to leave.

"That was weird..." Sam said, and then glanced at Danny who was nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "Where did you think you left it?"

"Oh uh, I actually don't have one. I just didn't want to go home or anything."

Sam sighed then went and sat back down on the docks. "So I know you saw my dream."

"That's your business; I'm not going to pry."

"Says the one who jumped into my dream without permission." Danny tried to object but Sam cut him off. "I'm just kidding. I know you were just trying to help. But never make Dash do that again. It was actually terrifying. That being said, how much did you see?"

Danny sat down next to her. "Can you make room for your girlfriend?" he said.

Sam turned red and tried to hide her face. "Dreams don't mean anything. You said so yourself."

"Probably because I was trying to convince myself of it."

"I know you remember your dream. All of us remember it like it was an actual memory. You know all of ours. What happened in yours?"

Danny sat in silence for a minute. Sam didn't think she was getting anywhere so she went to get up. "Wait!" Danny said, grabbing her arm. He blushed and let it go but continued talking. "You already know what happened in my dream. Mine just didn't include Dash 'going ghost' like yours."

"You mean... it was the same?" she asked.

Danny nodded.

"So then... what does that mean?"

"Nocturne may have been an evil ghost, but all the dreams we experienced were what we really wanted. When I asked him what was so important about dreams, he said 'asked the ghost boy who dreams of the Goth girl' which pretty much confirmed that even if we don't know on the surface, the dreams he brought out were what our subconscious wants."

Sam thought for a moment. "So then, you want me?"

"Says the one who had the same dream. Meaning you also want me."

"So we've basically been running around in circles trying to know if we like each other when it was that simple."

"Now I know why I'm clueless one."

"Took you long enough."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Umm, hello?! Valerie!" Sam said waving her arms.

"Oh right... Well, at least I didn't like someone like Gregor! Or Elliot! Whatever that douche bags name was!"

Sam slapped Danny across the face for mentioning him. She apologized immediately. "Sorry, I just... I guess I'm angry that I let things trail on for so long when I could have just told you. But you liked Paulina, and then you had that thing with Valerie so I just assumed you went for the popular pretty type."

"Just because you aren't what they define as popular does not mean you aren't pretty. Most of them aren't even close to how beautiful you are. Don't sell yourself short."

Sam blushed. "So again, where do we go from here?"

Danny smiled and took her hand. "Wanna go on a date?"

"I'd love to. Guess our dreams did kind of come true."

"Except I'm not getting an A in science and nobody else knows my secret... but I'll take what I can get." He said smiling.

BAM! Done. I feel much better now.
