Disclaimer: I should stop doing these
"Gooooooooooood morning!" I awoke to the annoying wake up call of that stupid bear. "It is now officially daytime! Get ready for another byootiful day!"
"Urgh..." I fell asleep?
Then the reality of last night crashed into my like a freight train. Kanata...I'm sorry. It was only luck we survived, it had to be luck. The killer could of easily been anyone of us, it was a leap of faith, but...we're alive. In the end, we made the right call, but for what cost? Watching Kanata get executed? His own talent used against him as he was turned into a mockery or art?
I don't want to move...
"I'll tell you tomorrow, let's call it a reward for successfully solving the trial." that's what the bear said, but what? And what of the motives?
Anger, sadness, loathing. All this emotions flooded through me, and because of that mix, I could be bothered to move. Similar to that of something with too much things to do so they end up doing nothing.
You let him die.
What?
You killed Kanata.
We had too, it was a risky gamble to save everyone's life!
You voted him to die to save your own skin, and the others. At the end of the day, that's just selfi-
SHUT UP!
...silence.
Why was I arguing with myself? Kanata's death must of gotten to me more than I thought. I was already sitting up, but at the same time, the more of thought about Kanata's death...the more I had mixed feelings about our survival. The bear was serious for this killing game, the newly added rule and the fact that a cockroach was the victim, it was very clear, that this killing game was very real.
I had to get up, but there was no motivation for me to move. The familiar announcement bell rang and I was once greeted by the bear's obnoxious voice, god it was so broken and distorted.
"Hey you ultimates, it's time for you're reward!" the bear sounded like a proud parent. "Would you kindly meet at the front entrance? You know, the sealed one? M'kay?" the screen flickered off as I crashed back into the bed. I didn't want to put up with this shit, but I got to I guess.
After lying on my back for ages, I finally got myself up, begrudgingly, and headed to the door. My stomach growled and cursed at me for ignoring the kitchen and grabbing some grub, but on I marched.
Soon I saw everyone at the sealed entrance.
Everyone but Kanata...
"Seems like we're all here." Takeo was the first notice my approach.
"So...where's the bear then?" mumbled Hanh, keeping an eye out.
"That bear would probably pop out of nowhere." scoffed Charlie.
"That is true." I found myself nodding along as I agreed.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the popped out of nowhere! "Goooood morning my precious students!" ugh, I did not want this in the morning.
"Just tell us our reward already," yawned the flight attendant, wanting to go back and sleep some more.
"Man, you guys are too the point, huh?" the bear scratched it's chin, all the while that annoying scrapping of metal sound filled the hallway around the entrance.
"Stop doing that." Leo pleaded as the annoying noise stopped.
Seno sighed as he got to the point, "so what's this reward?" he asked as the bear looked down at the ground.
"You know, after the execution, I felt kind of bad..." the bear looked quite depressed. "With the whole cockroach thing, it just didn't sit right with me, so, I'm giving you a special reward...seeing as I fucked this whole killing game up."
"Bullshit." Tadakatsu scoffed.
I had to agree with the yanki, that had to be total bullshit.
"You having a change of heart over night? I find that hard to believe," our teen idol said as she remembered the events of Kanata's execution judging from her expression and shaky hands.
"Whether or not you believe me is up too you, but, here's your special reward." the bear cheered itself up. "I'm going to let you all go freely."
"HUH? WHAT?" that certainly got a reaction from all of us.
"T-This has to be a trick." Isabi seemed to put her guard up as the bear's blue eyes glowed red, the laser was charging!
"Look out! He's going to fire his laser!" Nanako called out as the bear spun around and fired its laser at the large, steel sealed door, the laser started at the bottom as it rose to the top of the door in a quick and clean motion.
The bear's lasers cut through it! I had that thought before, but damn. That's one hell of a laser.
After the laser had stopped, both sides of the sealed entrance started to pull in opposite directions, revealing a fancy looking pair of doors of the real entrance to the academy showed.
"Ok, there you go." the bear punched the floor. "Go on, shoo! SHOO! LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK!" and of course, as he said that, the double doors opened, revealing a bright light. The feeling in my stomach returned as everyone rushed for the entrance on the way out, leaving me standing next to the door.
"Upupupupu." I turned to see the bear laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked as his paws were hiding his mouth, which was a poor attempt.
"Upupupupupu." he lowered his hands and turned his head at me, the red zig-zag eye glowed in a ominous way. "Upupupupupupupupupupupupu!"
The feeling in my stomach churned as I started to pale and sweat, I felt it, something caused me to run for the entrance, it wasn't about freedom, someone was definitely off! My heart was racing, was it the doubt in my heart? When I finally run outside, the bright light faded from my eyes, and before me...was despair to destroy any hope I had.
The first thing my eyes laid sight on was not everyone else, not even the supposedly sweet taste of hope and freedom, but rather the bitter and sour taste of despair and isolation. Standing right in front of me, a few miles away, was a giant wall seemingly made out of stone, having a creamy colour to it. The wall extended high, around the same height as the school building itself. Clearly this wall was meant to keep not only us in, but others out. On the top of said walls were some barbed wired and I don't think it was any old type of barbed wire. There was a nearby sign that had said, WARNING: ELECTRIC FENCES, but I couldn't see them, which must of meant it was for the barbed wire at the top, and that lead to the second thing I noticed.
The skies were not blue, or even red, but rather green, a dark green mainly with some lighter shades. Mixed match of dark green skies with lighter green skies too, but also for the clouds! Unlike the sky, they were more light green than dark green compared to the sky, but there was a few dark green clouds too. So many greens, it was almost like pollution!
And then I finally looked around to all the others, more importantly their faces. It was if all their hope had finally vanished, despair had taken over. There was no freedom here, only isolation from the outside world, trapped in this school with a killing game. If Kanata's death didn't drive it home enough, this was another nail to drive deeper into the coffin.
"Upupupupu, you didn't really think I would have left you all leave after that did I? HAHAHAHAHAHA!" the hunk of junk laughed as he crawled out too us. "I never felt bad for the whole cockroach trial! I didn't fuck up this whole game! In fact, I loved the cockroach trial with Kanata! It was a hoot!"
"HAHAHAHAHA, Oh the look on all your faces, the hope draining away as the despair replaces it! Such beauty!" Monokuma laughed. "Remember the first rule? Why did I mention that students may only reside on school property? MUHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Y-You..." I failed to get the words out.
"Upupupupu, ah man, I'm glad Kanata killed that cockroach, ah, too bad it won't happen again." the bear continued to roll around and laugh. "Very glad I didn't specify the rules about killing, what a way to start off the killing game~, very unexpected."
"You took the chance of a cockroach's death, to execute one of us." my words came out in a whisper as I clenched my fists. That bear...
"Yep~, never expected it to happen in the first trial after all! Or, maybe any trial, but deep down, I knew this trial will happen eventually~!" the bear then got serious all of a sudden. "Please have fun with killing any other lifeforms from now on."
"Like the hell we'll do that!" my words meant nothing to the bear.
"Whelp, I guess you should all explore, I mean, I am letting you all outside for some fresh air after all." it was then, some of the class perked up.
"W-Wait, then that means-" Maria started as Fumi seemed to get the gist of things.
"-that means there's people out there, they'll surely come for us!" she bounced back onto her feet.
"Eh? Nah." the bear picked it's nose. "No help is coming for thrown away scrap."
"Huh?" Fumi was taken aback by that.
"And why not?" asked the billiards pro. "Why won't help come for us?"
"Because, as I said, you're all useless scrap metal." the bear sighed. "Besides, no one may know that you're all here? And if they do know, they can't get close!" wait what?!
"There you go with the scrap again..." Seiren looked at the bear oddly, he had a habit of calling as scrap after all.
"Then we'll find a way out!" Leon spoke loud and with a lot of courage behind his words.
"That's a no go too," the bear started, rolling it's large, bulging, blue eye. "You cannot leave, it not only breaks the school regulations of leaving, but also, you're all stuck here. There's no way out through the walls, there's no way out under the walls and you can't get over."
"There has to be a way out." murmured the troublemaker.
"Nuh uh, no way." the bear waved it's finger back and forth, menacingly, but not at Kyogen, but at Nanako. "Don't even bother with using fireworks as S.O.S signals, in fact, they'll probably only see it as fireworks, but even if they don't they can't get close!"
"Fox wonders why that is?" the witch tilted his head in a cutesy manner.
"Upupupu, glad you asked!" the bear grinned. "Well, you see...take a look at the school building for starters." We did as we were told and turned around to stare at the academy.
The Academy for Hope's Peak was tall, very tall. If I had to guess how many floors it had, I would say around three to four floors, which make those walls something else entirely. But that's not what got our attention. On the school itself, it had not only a couple of satellite dishes, but it also had...anti-air artillery?!
"G-Guns?" Renji sweated at the sight.
"Yep, yep, yep! But, I don't think they'll ever be of use, I might of installed them for nothing." and the bear was depressed again.
"So...they're just for show?" Seno was looking up at the artillery.
"Kinda, mainly because I'm using something else to keep others way." the bear sighed. "They're pretty much decoration at this point."
More like covering your bases or having a back up. I rolled my eyes as the bear continued as he talked with the others.
"What are you using to keep outside help away?" the reporter asked, holding her microphone tightly in a firm grip.
"Oh?" the bear rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I'm using a system I like the called the Bermuda Triangle Interference Radar or the BTIR for short."
"BTIR?" I found myself asking.
"Bermuda Triangle Interference Radar?" the ghostly girl that was the medium also asked.
The bear took on a sense of pride. "Well you see, the Bermuda Triangle Interference Radar, or BTIR, is basically a jamming signal akin to the actually Bermuda Triangle itself! It doesn't matter how high in the sky you are or how deep you are underground of the sea, once you enter the radius of BTIR, you're pretty much fucked!"
"So it's based on the anomaly of the Bermuda Triangle?" Takeo asked, looking up at the guns.
"Upupupupupupu, that's right my precious students, it's based on the Devil's Triangle's phenomenon that causes boats and planes to go missing! MUHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Then...that means..." Akahana shook her head, refusing to believe it as Hanh mumbled.
"Even if help was on there way, the BTIR will effect the boats, helicopters or planes that come to save us, causing them to crash and sink." the jazz musician grew pale the more words she spoke.
"And that means, if they someone get closer to the academy," Hudson glanced back up at the guns. "Those guns, will surely take out whoever gets close, on foot or somehow not affected by BTIR."
"That's correct~!" the bead held it's stomach as he laughed joyfully.
"...so...we're trapped," yawned Yozora, but the paleness of her skin didn't mask how she was trying to pretend to be her sleepy self, clearly it got to her too.
The atmosphere of the situation, I could cut through the thick amounts of gloom and despair with a plastic knife. Everyone was out of it, in different parts on the ground of course, whether standing or sitting, despair was around us.
Then limbs grabbed a hold on me, three long and cold limbs climbed up and wrapped around my body as a head sat itself on my right shoulder. The bear was on my back! Holding me as it's eyes looked at me, mainly the big, bulging eye looked at me as it said, "Since everyone is preoccupied with the despair, let's have a look and show you the real meaning of why I call you scrap."
W-What?
"Come on, come on." the bear pointed in a direction, and with nothing else to do, I followed.
I wanted this weight on my back gone, so following the instructions might be a good idea for now. I turned around the corner, to the right of when he walked through the double doors, and I felt my jaw drop at what I saw.
"What is this?" the bear giggled at me for even asking the obvious.
"What does it look like?" the bear tickled my ear. "I always said you guys were scrap after all~"
What I was looking at, it made sense to why the bear was calling us things like scrap. Before my eyes, were mountains of scrap, and not just of one thing too. Different cars and appliances were there too, even some metal that looked like they would be form construction work too. The bear kept shooing his hand, indicating that I should go further, it was kind of like a maze I guess, there was even some old televisions, tires, cans, electronics.
It truly was a scrapyard.
"Welcome to the scrapyard you ultimate." the bear said a bit too close to my ear.
"Get off." surprisingly, the bear did as I said. "A scrapyard?"
"Upupupupupu, but of course! How do you think we make some extra moolah?" the bear asked, crawling closer to the piles of junk, he really fit in well here.
"Hope's Peak... works with scrap?" I found that a little hard to believe.
"I told you didn't I? Your last scrap of society?" as the bear said that I instantly grabbed the monocoin that was still in my pocket.
"You mean," I looked at the bear who was rummaging through the scrap. "The coin? Yeah, you said something about scrap being currency."
"Oh? So you listened~," he started sniffling and presumably crying too, "a-as a parent, I am so proud! I think you just got one of my free time events done with that one."
Free Time Events?
"But yes, scrap is used as currency, with the monocoins being of higher value of course. Feel free to search through the scrap to use as currency though, there's quite a lot of useful parts in there too, remember, recycling is the way to the future." after the bear finished, I just stared at the piles and piles of scrap. Did Hope's Peak really have all this scrap metal? And use it for extra cash? "Oh yeah, get enough scrap, and you can exchange them for Monokuma coins too, as some store supplies can only be bought via monokuma coins, like a gacha machine for example."
I suppose, if I wanted to kill some time, and get some reward, this might be a good thing to keep on mind on throughout the killing game. Looking at my e-handbook's currency, I saw that it had a picture of scrap, mainly by a cog and a coin with the bear's face on it. Wait, when did I get more than one coin?
"Ah, notice the extra coins? Well, after such a brilliant trial, I decided to give you all monocoins, of course, it's not a lot, so work hard in the scrapyard and you can buy out the whole shop!" the bear laughed. "One last thing, I got some new wares, have fun with the scrapyard, scrap metal!"
The bear had disappeared, leaving me alone in the junkyard. New wares huh? I didn't like the sound of that, honestly, but a gacha machine, why? It maybe better to forget about that for now. I suppose I could get some scrap and trade them for coins to buy stuff from the shop, for as long as the bear would be in there, we can't really steal, we don't a rule stopping us because of it. I don't really recall a gacha machine either, was that also apart of the new wares he mentioned? Ah well, I better get back to the others, going off with the bear might of been a bad idea, I should hurry back and tell them what I found at least.
I walked back to entrance of the school building, taking in the sight of the building itself, and not just the tall prison-like walls or even the guns or electric barbed wire too.
The school building stood tall and proud, being around three or possibly four floors, what deja vu, covered in the artillery, but it kind of looks different from what I remember. Yet I couldn't put my finger on it, just what was it?
"Oh, Sui, you're back," I turned from looking at the school building to see Anju. "Everyone else kind of left to go get breakfast or back to their rooms, if you're wondering." I was wondering where everyone went, just exactly where did they go?
"Thanks for letting me know, I just went around to explore a bit is all." Anju's eyes widened a little, holding the microphone towards me.
"Did you find anything?" her eyes gleamed as I told her what I found.
"When coming out of the school building, to the right, our left now, there is a scrapyard."
"A scrapyard? As in what the bear calls us scrap? That kind of scrapyard?" Anju asked me as I affirmed it into her microphone, I also told her a bit of what Monokuma told me about it. "I see, a scrapyard if kind of odd, but I guess we need to go and have breakfast too, huh?"
"Yeah, I guess so." I offered a smile, it was a weak one, but a smile nonetheless, as Anju brought me to the cafeteria. It was time for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't too much of a big deal today, just grabbed some toast, ate so I had energy to take on the day before I went off.
Time to explore more of the new 'floor' that was opened up to us, even the map was updated to show us more, even the outside, however, from this map, the scrapyard on the left (from the entrance) took up a lot of space, which means the right side is the only path we could really explore.
Exiting the front doors, I took a left and headed around to the opposite side of the junkyard.
The first thing I came across was a garden of all things. Ah, look at all these flowers. Roses, daisies, orchids, sunflowers and even a waratah, that was rare to see out here. Not only did it have flowers, but as I looked around, I noticed some some growing fruit and vegetables.
"So this is where our fresh food comes from," then what about the meat? I see no living animals on the confines of the campus. So I looked at the vegetables and fruits growing here; artichokes, eggplants, asparagus, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, lettuce as well as some mushrooms. It also had grapes, bananas, apples, pears, potatoes, tomatoes and so many more. We would never go hungry if this kept growing.
Best not to think about that.
"Huh?" I had a double take towards the mushrooms as I saw Akahana there. "Akahana?" she had her hand-basket.
It seemed to be have flowers, berries and mushrooms in it. "Oh...Sui, hey there..."
I walked over and crouched down near her, "what are you doing?" it was clear what she was doing, it was more for conversations sake really.
"I guess...I'm foraging, or at least, close to it." I still couldn't see her face cause of her hood, but she was the Ultimate Forager for a reason.
"Well, you are the Ultimate Forager." I smiled. "You must know your stuff." Aka nodded at my words, examining and picking another mushroom.
"If it wasn't for foraging, I'd probably go insane right now..."
"Huh?" I wasn't expecting her to say that. "Does...foraging help you?"
She nodded once again. "That's good, to keep to the things you like to help out in these situations." speaking of which, in that case, "I guess I should start writing too then."
Aka looked over at me in a way I could see her face that was no longer blocked from view by her hood. "Oh...your gonna write?"
I nodded. "I might as well, it might help me cope the same way foraging keeps you sane."
Akahana looked back at the basket of mushrooms, flowers and berries. "Here," she handed me a...crownvetch? The actual crownvetch flower? I looked over to see a flowerbed full of them.
"Why, thank you, Aka," I took hold of the flower as she readjusted her hood.
"I...enjoyed your story." oh, Crownvetch.
"I see, I'm glad." I stood, holding onto the flower, I had nowhere to put it.
Akahana stood up, noticing I had nowhere to put the flower, took it and brought my head closer a bit, the taller girl messed around with my hair before pulling away, she had put the flower above my right ear. "...there you go."
"Ah, thanks." Akahana offered me a smile at that. Guess it was time to move on now.
"I'm going to check the other places now." I told her. "Thanks again."
"Goodbye, Sui," Akahana went back to her foraging as I left.
After leaving Akahana, I then came across a nearby shed, presumably for the garden. Inside were lawnmowers, whipper-snippers, weed killer, gardening tools like rakes, hoes, hedge trimmers, some spades and even things like buckets as well as extra stuff for the garden like watering cans, seeds, soil and fertiliser, even some shovels lined up against the wall too.
Huh, good to know. I took my leave, only to see Yozora sleeping in the slightly tall, yet soft, grass. "...No, not the burgers, please no..." guess she was dreaming. I carefully avoided the sleeping flight attendant and made my way past her, "...urgh...it needs more butter..."
I...have no idea what she's dreaming about, but I'm leaving! I'm gone! GOOD DAY SIR!
As I left, not to far from where I walked, I found a pool!
"Whoa," not to far from the pool seemed to be changing rooms, marked male and female respectively.
The pool was quite large and clean, it could definitely fit all of us ultimates in it with ease, and judging from the small building next to the changing rooms, was a most likely a storage room.
I kind of wanted to take a dip, but it seems I wasn't alone.
"Oh, Sunako, Maria, you two are here too?" yep, they both were here, I wonder if anyone else is here too?
"Ah, hello Sui, yes, we decided to check out the new open area," Sunako greeted me, "there also appears to be swimsuits too, for all of us." swimsuits eh?
"Oh, if there are swimsuits, even if they are school swimsuits, we could go for a dip. That would be refreshing." as I said that, Maria's face turned the brightest of reds at the thought.
"Swimsuit?! O-Oh I couldn't possibly wear something like that. I-I'll just watch as everyone else swims." Maria stumbled over her words, poor girl.
"The lockers in there are each assigned to us all as well, even Kanata dear," Hudson spoke up, coming out of the male changing room, but not in swimwear.
"Oh, really? That's convenient." did the bear already set these up or something?
Odd how they have a swimsuit for all of us, by then again, at the same time, not really. So I walked to the storage room and opened it, revealing some swimming equipment from life-jackets, life-rings, water noodles, as well as blow up balls, blow up water chairs you can lay on and so much more.
"Comfy," truly it was, shame we were surrounded by almost prison-like walls and the whole killing game going on too though.
I think this was enough searching here for now, I suppose a quick look in the changing rooms? I walked into the male changing room, only to get a surprise.
"Kyaaa," Fox faked a squeal as he covered his chest but his face showed he was having fun as it was still a smile.
"...What are you doing?"
"Fox is covering himself," was his answer.
"I'm leaving."
"Wait, wait! Don't leave Fox!"
"No, I'm leaving you, Fox." As I started to walk away, Fox grabbed a hold of me.
"At least humour Fox~," I pushed Fox off me.
"Geez, fine. What do you want me to do?" I asked, as the Fox's fluffy and messy brown neck-length hair moved about, free of the witch hat he usually wore.
Fox pouted and said, "at least act surprised."
"O-Oh, I'm sorry, Fox, my bad." Fox continued pouting though.
"Fox thinks, no, Fox knows you half-assed it." Sorry Fox. "But Fox is fine with it, Sui-chan still has a promise with my potions later~" oh dear god don't remind me!
As Fox put his upper attire back on, as well as his hat, I left the changing rooms. "Leaving Fox already?" I ignored him as I left. "At least tell Fox why you have a flower above your ear!"
"Well, I'm be sure to test the pool out sometime." I gave a wave and left.
Leaving them alone, I left only to approach a large field. Huh?
It seems most people were out here. Tadakatsu, Nanako, Takeo, Charlie and Leo. I guess everyone else was still inside.
The field was definitely for sports, it had a race track, goals, in a corner had different equipment such as hurdles and who knows what else. It was large and had a lot of room.
"You think you can fucking beat me in a hundred metre dash? Fuck you, you slow bitch." take a guess, if you guess Tadakatsu, you were correct.
"If you don't watch your language, I'm kicking your arse!" Nanako shouted back.
Takeo and Leo however sat at the side lines as Charlie scowled.
"S-Should we stop them?" asked the basketball star as Takeo shook his head.
"I'll stop Mikami if he gets violent," was all he said as Leo looked a little nervous.
"Tch, I don't know why you stay around him other than to keep an eye on him." Charlie scoffed.
And then, Nanako and Tadakatsu began running the track. "Off they go." noted Leon as Charlie didn't care to watch.
...Yeah, I ain't going here just yet. Fuck that. I'm out.
So I turned my heels and left, I am not dealing with the whole mess that would bring up.
"GIVE UP YOU SAD EXCUSE OF A WHORE!"
"DON'T CUSS UNLESS YOU WANT A CAN OF WHOOP ASS OPENED ON YOU!"
I increased my speed at Tadakatsu's and Nanako's words as they continued running. I got out of there faster than a blue hedgehog' egg nemesis and headed back to the entrance.
I stood back in front of the entrance, looking one last time up at the wall. It didn't look like it was climbable, so I decided to leave it as it was, and headed off to the scrapyard one more time. I had nothing better to do, so I threw myself knees deep into the scrap, metaphorically of course, and began rummaging through the scrap, and brought a few over to what seemed to be a collection box next to a conveyor belt.
I wonder where it leads? I placed a few of the scrap down into the collection box as a screen asked for my e-handbook, bringing it out, it acted like a pay and wipe card as the bear said and then, a total number of scrap was added to my currency as the scrap travelled down the conveyor belt.
Easy money? But if we do this, won't the scrap eventually run out? But when I looked back at the mounds of junk, I think...it would take a while to get rid of it all.
So I rummaged through some more scrap, until I pulled out, a destroyed robotic arm.
"...WHAT?!"
A Breath of Fresh Air, isn't it?
Take in that fresh air, isn't it lovely? Ah, refreshing. Glad to see you all bamboozled, even freak out over it with the whole cockroach plot twist, I'm glad ^v^. But with this, we revealed our second floor for our ultimates to explore.
Also, I guess I should also reveal that there's another SYOC collab that I am in with a few others called Anonymity Round, please check it out~ Sorry for revealing this so late, but better late then never~ Didn't want to reveal it too quickly, but maybe I should have done it at some point, oh well, no point crying over crushed bugs. We're still accepting OC submissions, so go over and have a look. ;D
Regrettably, this chapter is a bit shorter than the others, but I plain to make up for that though~ Have a good one!
RubyLeo: Huzzah! Whelp, guess that's one ship that just sank ;v;
Scorpio116: ;) a real case of jitterbug here, and I agree, a pretty unfair death, but hey, the bear's serious about the killings~.
Sync Jack: Holy crap indeed! Glad you liked it.
Liammarklh88: Thanks ^^, glad you enjoyed it~ It was a blast to write~
Manny Siliezar: Don't worry, I will be having investigations in future cases, it was just a one time thing with the case for the cockroach, an actual investigation asides from the one from the last chapter might of given it away Ow. Renji was pretty close there.
RioA: Even thought this is more of a discord chat (biggest wtf moment for you eh?), loved the way you freaked out over the cockroach~ 3 keep it up.
WhateverIsOpen: Welcome back! Thanks for the kind words and even drop sleep? Oh boy. I loved the title too, fits very well, and poor Kanata eh? I'm also glad you liked the twist ^^, now the floodgates have opened with the killing game being a reality. And yes, with Sui's investigation and Monokuma dragging them to the trial, it had to be done like that for the twist of the victim (other trials will be more normal). Fumi's a blast to write! That and I love puns myself. Everyone is slowly getting into their groups, kind of like a jigsaw puzzle, and let's hope that Sunako doesn't get on the end of some murderous intent if her powers are real, and with that, I hope this aftermath and new floor to explore shocks you.
Swordsman795: Very unexpected! Guess RIP Devil is now RIP Kanata.
Reader: N-Not at all! With this bamboozle of the highest caliber, I shall be the Ultimate Trickster.
