The class had continued on with its schedule, Abigail now watching her students spar with one another. In the beginning, she wasn't that interested in what any of them were doing, so she was just obligated to sit back and observe. Yet what had caught her eye was a certain red-clad student that was sparring with her white haired partner, the two only really having any knowledge in basic defense.

In all honesty, she thought that it would've taken even longer for Ruby Rose to have healed, but here she was, completely healed.

"Interesting…" The Professor mused to herself as she slightly tapped her fingers against the wood, her seeing the white haired girl take down Ruby into a hold before Ruby turned the tables, Abigail now chuckling. "These kids are gonna need a bit more training." Once she was finished with watching the two huntresses spar for another ten or so minutes, she blew into her whistle and got up. "Alright everybody! It's time to get a bit out of your comfort zones." She smirked as her eye gazed across the small group of students, some of them helping their partners up while others got off of the ground by themselves. "I want you to find someone that isn't in your team, and spar with them. You have, let's say, two minutes to find someone."

Once the students had heard this, they were already scrambling around as if they were chickens with their heads cut off, the two minutes soon passing by. Now here came the tricky part; Abigail knew who Ruby was, but had no idea who the girl she was going against or who her teammates were. Either way, she was going to find out.

With a quick trip to where her small office was, she had all the files of her current period under her arm, the students were already in the middle of sparring, the girl going against Ruby already tossing quick jabs and kicks to the huntress, whom was dodging each one. Now, let's see who you all are. her eye looked at the girl going against Ruby, said girl having short brown hair and a pair of brown rabbit ears jutting out of the top of her head, which made it even less complicated to find her file.

No...no...no….aha! Here she is. Abigail pulled out the folder and began to quickly read through it, her eye looking up every once in a while to observe the faunus and red-clad girl. After a bit of reading though, she came to a realization. She had a couple of pretty powerful team's within her class at the moment; JNPR, CVFY, and RWBY. She smiled internally while her lips turned into a smirk, her interest starting to grow from a single ember into a roaring fire. My time here is going to be….interesting to say the least. She chuckled as her eye began to glow a deep blue, it shifting from Velvet, to Yatsuhashi, and eventually to the other team's and students that occupied her vision.

Each of their fighting styles was different, yet some of them were similar. The lighter, more agile students tended to rely on quick jabs and strikes before retreating into a defensive stance while the stronger students were throwing powerful punches meant to knock out their opponents, yet she could already see that one of them had thought this was the only approach with her boxing style, sweat already starting to mat down her blonde hair. Yet, she did eventually get the job done.

"Ha! I knew I could beat you Coco!" The blonde brawler exclaimed as she pointed to her beret wearing opponent, said person rolling her eyes as she got up.

"Yeah yeah yeah, the only reason why you won is because I let you." Coco huffed as she got off of the ground and dusted herself off, the blonde next to her chuckling.

"No, it's because I could beat anyone in this room and win!"

Hmm….. Abigail grinned as she stood up, her using her whistle to stop the sparring. Once she had everyone's attention, she chuckled.

"Miss Xiao Long, is it? If you believe that you can beat anyone in this room, then I have a proposition for you." She first pointed to yang as she spoke before pointing to her own chest. "One on one, you and me. I wanna see how confident you are after I'm done winning. Or are you gonna be too much of a chicken?" Each word that Abigail spoke oozed with her own pride and confidence as her eye looked into the lilac orbs of her interest, said orbs flashing red before returning to lilac as a confident smirk crossed the blonde brawlers lips.

"Now remember the rules. Students can't use their semblance during sparring."

Everything as set. The ring of students around them, the lilac eyes staring into the deep blue eye of the professor, and soon enough, the whistle that signalled for them to begin. With haste, Yang charged towards her opponent. She knew that compared to the rather slender frame of her opponent, the blonde had more than enough strength to take care of her.

The brawler chuckled as she began to throw powerful punch after punch, her eyes making sure they marked her targets before striking. Yet with each successive strike, Abigail dodged the next, the teacher keeping on the defensive, her single eye shifting between the two fists that were berating her with an endless assault.

"I see that you picked the wrong chick to spar with. Now I think it's time I school you teach!"

Yang grinned as she swiped Abigail's feet out from under her, her arm cocking back as if she had Ember Celica before she drove down a haymaker that was supposed to hit the professors gut, but it never connected. Instead, it connected with the teachers palm, said palm now holding the strike back.

"I told you to call me sir!" Abigail looked into the lilac eyes of the brawler, her own eye glowing a deep blue before she smirked and smacked away the fist. "I believe it is my turn now!"

At that, the eye patch wearing professor took the offensive, Yang lightly grimaced at the sudden aggressiveness. Each move the woman was made Yang believe that she wasn't fighting her teacher, but instead was fighting Velvet, herself, and even her own partner!

Each punch she threw was either a suckerpunch from kick boxing, a facial kick from kung-fu, or an attempted takedown from judo. By now, the blonde brawler was beginning to feel the effects of a prolonged fight, when it suddenly her; the reason why Abigail was on the defensive in the beginning. Of course! How could I have been such a stupid, stupid idiot!

Abigail hadn't been dodging because she wasn't used to the powerful strikes, but had been anticipating them! Each dodge was just to make sure that Yang's stamina would deplete that much faster, which meant once it was finally time to go onto the offensive, the blonde brawlers body would be too weary to put up much of a fight. But now, the roles had been reversed, for the blonde was putting up as best of a defense that she could while the professor was pummeling her with punch after punch followed by power filled kicks. And soon enough; it was in the sparring matches endgame.

"It's time to finish this!" Abigail grinned as she swiped Yang's legs out from under her, the brawler falling down before she was pinned by the cyclops of a professor, said woman cocking back a punch as her eye continued to glow. Although before she could deliver the finishing blow, the bell rang. "...oh well, looks like this is a stalemate….for now." She smirked as she got off of the blonde brawler. "Until next time Yang." At that, she directed herself to the students around her. "Remember students, never, and I mean, NEVER, underestimate your enemy. Whether they are on or off the battlefield. You need to know what makes them tick and the way they fight. Now, I want you all to read The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Class dismissed!"

At that, the students began to file out, including a completely exhausted team CRDL. Although, Yang lingered behind as she panted, Blake being used as a support brace while Weiss acted as another, Ruby looking at her older sister with slight worry.

"Yang, are you gonna be alright?"

"Yeah, but I can't believe she cheate-"

"I did not cheat Miss Xiao Long." Abigail looked at the brawler as she spoke in-between sips from a water bottle. "The rules state that students can't use their semblances when sparring, it never said anything about professors." She chuckled as her eye fixated onto the lilac orbs that were slowly turning to red due to anger. "Always pay attention to the rules, for they may hold hidden advantages that you can exploit. Now then, good day you four. I believe that Ozpin wants to see you."

During their small banter, team RWBY had failed to notice the stern voice of Glynda Goodwitch speaking over the speaker system, her voice sounding like this was the third time it had been repeating its message.

"Team RWBY, Ozpin wishes to see you in his office immediately. This is of the utmost importance."

"Ta ta" Abigail chuckled as she watched the four young huntresses beginning to run towards Ozpin's office, the professors single eye flashing a deep blue before returning to normal. "This is gonna be a very interesting place to say the least."

"Good morning Team RWBY, I expect that your first class went splendidly?" Ozpin's ever wise eyes looked at the four huntresses, each one nodding, well, except for Yangs. "Let me guess, you met our newest professor, didn't you?"

Yang growled a bit at the mention of Abigail before nodding, to which Ozpin sighed as he sipped from his mug of coffee.

"She is here because Ironwood insisted upon it. If it were up to me, she'd be at an Atlesian base. But, she knows hand to hand and how to teach it, and every huntsman and huntress needs to know at least some sort of unarmed combat."

"Yeah, yeah. So, why are we up here anyway?"

Ozpin sighed as he let the small quip from the blonde brawler of RWBY slide for now.

"The reason I called you four here is very important actually." At that, he pulled out four dossiers, each one going to each of the team mates. "Even though it's only been a small amount of time since your leader has recovered, there is a need for you. The White Fang has been planning a massive movement of Dust through the Forever Falls Forest. They've been able to get ahold of a few Paladin's and Atlesian Knight's as well."

Ruby looked towards her team mates and then back to ozpin, her eyes flashing with confidence and determination.

"When do we start?"
