Thanks for reviewing, guest. :)

Major Carmilla flashback. This might be the darkest chapter and one of the longest, so to keep things interesting, I dare you to read this chapter as a drinking game. Take a shot every time I say "kidnap", "kidnapper" and "kidnapped".

I suck at action scene, so bear with me.

We entered the one of the boiling rooms of this abandoned factory. The sight was horrifying. I'd already seen so much in my life and this was beyond words. It sickened me to realize what a monster I had created.

In one side of the room, there were fifteen people hanging from the ceiling by the wrists. They all looked pale and sick, but they were still breathing. Their ankles were cut and were dripping blood into bowls underneath. It was a blood farm.

In the other side of the room, a big black dog were pacing around two fire pits. I didn't know what they were called, but those were stoves or furnaces that were used to boil fish when the cannery was still working. Above the two fire pits, two figures were hanging from the ceiling by the wrists. One of them was unconscious and the other one was struggling.

"Tink! Lily!" I yelled.

"Millie! Regina! Mal! Help me," Tinkerbell cried out.

"Milady, you have arrived," The black dog turned into a naked man, "And you have brought friends."

"What have you done to my daughter?" Maleficent said in rage. She could turn into a dragon, but I doubted she would have room to move around if she did. The room was not very big, around eight hundred feet perhaps.

"I was very lucky to bump into this little fairy here yesterday. She was very helpful. I asked her for direction this factory and she gladly let me take her," Vordenburg said coldly. I just realized he had been stalking me for weeks now, learning who my friends were and where to find them. "The brunette on the other hand, put up with quite a fight. I had to knock her out and drag her here."

"Let them go, they are innocent. Take me if you want your revenge," I would offer my life in exchange for my two best friends.

"You can take one of them home. It's your pick," It was a mind game.

I spent the next five seconds studying the contraption. Tinkerbell and Lily were actually tied with the same robe, hanging in a "MM" shape. Five pulleys were used in this setup - four attached to the ceiling and one on the ground in the middle. The two people were hanged at the dip part of the M figure. The two ends of the robe were connected to a contraption, which would close the guard door of fire pit. If he cut one side of the robe, both of them would fall, but one of the fire pit door would close and that person would be safe, the other one would fall into the fire and be burned alive. If he cut in the middle, both of them would fall into the fire.

It was a smart setup. If I picked one of them, one of them would live. If I didn't pick, both of them would have died of heat exhaustion. I guessed that was why Tinkerbell didn't change to her fairy form and fly away. If she did, the weight balance would be off and that would leave unconscious Lily to die. On the other hand, I wondered if Lily was fireproof, since she was a dragon and all.

"I pick them both," Maybe I should have picked Lily. Then maybe Lily would be safe, and when Tinkerbell was falling, she would fly away. But, what if he lied. He might still kill Lily instead because he would think I loved Lily more than Tinkerbell.

"Wrong answer," He shrugged, "I guess both of them have to die now." He grabbed a pair of industrial scissors and placed it at a spot where if he cut it, both Tinkerbell and Lily would be swallowed by the fire.

Maleficent was ready to lunge at him, but I stopped her. She would not be as fast as gravity when he cut the rope. If she breathed fire, she could risk damaging the robe. Being afraid to harm her daughter had really set her back from her game.

"Let both of them go. This is a fight between the two of us," I wasn't the type of person who apologized often. I wouldn't mind compromising if that meant saving two people, "I am sorry I destroyed your life by turning your wife into a lesbian vampire and you into a vampire."

The room was filled with his psychotic laugh.

"You still don't get it, do you? I wasn't angry because you took Eva. I never loved her anyway. I don't care that you 'gave me an ironic ending' by turning me into a vampire," His answer surprised me, "You see, I wasn't really a vampire hunter. Laura was the first vampire I actually killed. My problem was not that simple."

I thought he was the best vampire hunter in town.

"Long before I met you, I was actually the 'vampire' going into people's houses, killing them, raping them, pleasuring myself. I disguised my killing as vampire killing and hunt down some defenseless girls, blaming the crime on them and raping and killing and more raping, setting their bodies of fire. My life was perfect. People loved me and I love to be loved. They beg me for help. They needed me. They thought I was their hero. I used to think maybe that's because I didn't get enough love in my childhood, but now I think maybe I am just crazy."

Everything I thought I knew was lies. He was not the tragic hero. He was the villain who never met his end because I had prolonged his life.

"When I turned into a vampire, killing people no longer makes me happy or arose. My urge for killing turned into bloodlust. I wouldn't feel the ecstatic feeling of taking someone's life. I hate that you took the pleasure of killing away from me. I hate that people no longer love me or worship me as their hero. They grew to fear me. You took away what I loved the most, so now I will kill the person you love. Or maybe people."

I would see the Queen calculating her next move while Vordenburg was making his demonic monologue. I felt anger brewing inside me, but I needed to stay calm and keep him busy with words, "You are a narcissistic psychopath."

He laughed again, "Indeed, I am."

"Enough," The Queen disappeared into purple smoke and appeared behind Vordenburg. She pushed the stake through the left side of his chest from behind.

He laughed, "That's the best you could do?" The Queen looked confused. I should have warned the Queen that he was dextrocardia just like me. After all, he was my descendant and the same blood ran in our body.

She might not have killed him, but that was enough of a distraction. I threw my dagger at his hand and he dropped the scissors. The Queen quickly pressed my sword against his neck. He immediately turned back into a black dog and jumped back.

I transformed to my black panther form. All my weapons dropped to the floor. I saw the look of amusement on the Queen's face.

I lunged at the black dog. I punched him with my claws. We tried to grab each other by the neck with our teeth. We rolled around on the floor. It was a dog-fight after all.

I knew I could overpower him. I was physically stronger and I was more experience in fighting as an animal.

The Queen and Maleficent used the time to rescue the two captives. Maleficent inhaled all the fire while the Queen closed the furnace door and cut the rope. The two dropped, but were not hurt because of a spell casted by the Queen.

He was distracted and I took advantage of the moment.

"I should have killed you centuries ago," We both changed back to human form. I was on top of him. We were both naked and my knees were pressed against his groin.

The Queen snapped her fingers and his arms and legs were tied. Maleficent threw my belt at me and I grabbed a stake and pressed it against his right chest.

"You are not going to kill me. I am your fresh and blood," He looked into my eyes, trying to see if any humanity left in my soul. There was no fear in his eyes.

"You are wrong," I drove the wooden stake into his heart.

Memories.

My life flashed before my eyes, my human life.

I had no memory of my life before I turned into a vampire, or me being a human. This was the story I was told about myself. As a teen, I was forced into marriage with Count Karnstein. He was old and rich. Soon after the birth of our son, the Count was away for business. I had a love affair with a young gentleman Vordenburg. I got pregnant and before the birth of our bastard child, I killed myself. Vordenburg cut me open to rescue our child. I did have a scar.

Now, I knew that was not a true story.

Yes, my uncle sold me to Count Karnstein. I was forced into marriage and I wasn't happy, but the love affair was not a love affair. Vordenburg - no, not this vampire hunter, his ancester from many generations ago - was a peddler who often pretended to sell fabrics, enter rich people's houses and kidnapped wives of rich lords for ransom. Some of them would payoff the kidnapper, but most of these lords just ignored a lost wife. After all, it was a time when woman's life didn't worth money.

I was one of Vordenburg victims and Count Karnstein was one of the lords who ignored the kidnapper. After all, I had already given him a son, an heir. Vordenburg raped and impregnated me. I threaten to kill the unborn child and myself. He caught me, tied me up and cut the child out. I died of blood loss and shock.

Unbeknown to me, my aunt was a witch. She used a tracking spell to find my body and used a spell to bring me back, as the undead.

My life was so tragic that I blocked out my own memory. It took killing the last blood of Vordenburg to set me free.

I looked down at the dead body under me. Blood came out of his mouth and his chest. I looked at my hands. They were covered with his blood, my blood.

I felt tear running down my face. I took a deep breath and wiped the tear off my face with my upper arm. I probably had some blood on my face, but I didn't care. This was not a life I wished to remember. I didn't know what I was feeling. It was not something that could be described by words. Relief? Disappointment? Happy? Anger? Apologetic? Or maybe it was a mix of all these feelings.

"Just a safety precaution," I cut off his head with the hatchet.

I was so caught up in my memory that I forgot about the two captives. As I put back on my clothes, the Queen untied Tinkerbell while Maleficent wore up Lily.

"Lily, are you ok?" Maleficent performed a shoulder pinch and Lily opened her eyes.

"Mom," Lily smiled as Maleficent helped her stood up, "What happened?"

"This happened. Everything is fine now," I walked towards the group, grabbing a vampire head by the hair with my hand. Lily gave me a puzzled look, "We will tell you the full story later. TLDR, you were kidnapped and were almost killed. It was my fault."

"You should probably get rid of this," The Queen snapped her fingers and Vordenburg's head and body vanished.

"I am sorry that Vordenburg dragged you two into this," I hugged Tinkerbell with my left arm and Lily with my right.

"Vordenburg, who?" Lily gave me another puzzled look.

"Full story later," I didn't know where to start.

"I was wishing Blue and my sisters would come save me," Tinkerbell grabbed my hands, "But I am glad you are here!"

"Tink, I don't even think Shady Blue even knew or cared that you were gone. I never trusted that righteous and judgmental bitch," I shook my head.

"Yes, she was too busy stealing Rumple's son," The Queen laughed.

"You are not Regina," Tinkerbell let her guard on, "You are the split Evil Queen people have been talking about."

"She is as much Regina as she is the Evil Queen," Maleficent added, "And she did help save you. You should thank her."

"We are all friends. No judgment here!" I said, "And I trust her."

"Okay," Tinkerbell had her doubt, "Hi, I am Tinkerbell."

"I know," The Queen rolled her eyes, "I remember who you are. I am evil, not stupid."

I turned around and looked at the people who were still hanging from the ceiling, "Let's get these people down and erase their memory of ever being captured. I don't want troubles with the town and other people to know my history."

Maleficent put a sleeping spell on them, so they wouldn't struggle and we set them down one by one.

"Are you sure you want to erase their memory? You just saved all these people. You could live your vampire life in public and be a hero," Tinkerbell suggested.

"But I don't want to be a hero. I am a sociopathic antihero. I'd rather have people not knowing I am a vampire. Besides, I was only cleaning up my mess," I faked a smile.

I fixed their ankle wounds and erased their memory. The Queen magicked them to the police station. Let's hope the sheriff would find them before they started running around in town and getting into trouble.

We left the building and Maleficent set the building on fire as we initially planned. We watched the place burn.

"It was refreshing," The Queen summarized it accurately.

Maleficent and Lily poof-ed out.

"Time to go home?" The Queen asked me.

"Sure. I know you can just poof me back to my house, but it's been a terrible night," I had been emotionally blocked for a long time and hadn't had that much feeling for a long time, "Can we take a long quiet walk?" Tinkerbell and the Queen nodded.

I walked aimlessly for a while, the two followed and somehow we ended up in the cemetery and one of the gravestones caught the Queen's attention, "I am going to take a detour. I will see you two later?"

I tried to say something, but Tinkerbell interrupted me by elbowing me in my ribcage.

"Let her have a moment of silent," Tinkerbell hinted that it was Robin's grave, "I will race you home!" She started running.

"Not fair, I am carrying a hatchet and a sword!" I ran after her.

Because I was so attached to this chapter, I drew the design of the "MM" contraption. It's not physically accurate since I drew this with my expired high school physic knowledge.
