Dean carried Grace, bloodied and shaking, to the TARDIS. She was crying. The tears cutting paths through the blood on her face.

"Let's get you cleaned up." Dean said, setting her down on the couch. Amy brought him a bowl of water and a cloth. He carefully wiped her face. She was still shaking.

"I wanted to stop." She whispered finally. "I tried to stop it."

"You don't need to explain yourself." Cas assured, taking a seat next to his daughter. "None of this is your fault." Dean finished wiping her face clean.

"Alright Kiddo." He said gently. "Why don't you get changed and try to get some sleep." She nodded silently and left down the hall.

"Would you like me to bring you home?" The Doctor asked.

"I'd appreciate it Doctor." Dean replied. The Doctor nodded and turned to the controls.

Grace sat on her bed, her knees pulled to her chest. Blood was still caked in her hair, but she didn't bother washing it out. She hated herself. She hated what she was. What she could become.

"Hey Grace." Scarlett said from the doorway. "Are you okay?"

"I don't know." She admitted.

"What happened?" She sat down next to her friend.

"Do you remember how I told you about my dark side?" Scarlett nodded. "Well, if I get too angry, or I use a relatively powerful spell, it starts to come out. I got angry and my magic let itself loose. It messed with my mind and let some of my darkness free. Scarlett, I don't know how long I have before I'm gone completely."

"Can you control it?"

Grace shook her head. "I've tried. All I can do is stop myself from using magic and keep my emotions in check. That is, until they can figure out how to combine my two sides. Then I'll be free." She wiped tears from her face. "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have to hear my sob story."

"I don't mind." She promised. "But you should probably get the blood out of your hair." Grace laughed.

"Have you heard from Joelle?"

"Yeah. They found her dad. They're both okay."

"Good."

"Well, I'll leave you to get cleaned up. Then John what's to check us over."

"I'm a Nephilim. I would have healed by now."

"Humor him." She got up and headed for the door.

"Scarlett." The time lord turned back to the Nephilim. "Thank you for being my friend."

"No problem." Grace stood up and entered the en suite bathroom. It wasn't until the began to take off the bloody clothes did she realize how bad her muscles ached.

She took her time in the shower, letting the steam clear her mind. She stepped out, got dressed, and looked in the mirror. She had dark rings under her eyes.

As she stared she noticed something about her eyes themselves. She stood there staring. And her eyes went from their sparkling green to black, like a demons, and back again. She let out a small scream and sunk to the floor, sobbing.

"Grace." She heard her dad call. "Are you okay?" She couldn't answer. She shook with sobs, choking on her tears.

She heard the door open and Dean stood at the bathroom doorway. He said nothing when he saw her. Only gathered her in his arms and held her.

"My eyes." She whispered between tears. "They were demon eyes."

"What?"

"My eyes." She repeated, trying to hold back the sobs long enough to speak. "They changed. They turned black like a demons."

Dean didn't know what to say.

"I know what it meant." She continued. "Can you get Dad?"

"Alright." He kissed her head and went to find his husband.
