Chapter 7:
A/N: Happy Valentines Day, everyone! LET'S ALL IMAGINE EACH OTHER COMPLEXLY AND WRITE OUR OTP'S ON OUR WRISTS! I hope that you guys are ready for this next chapter! Yes, it's short, but at least I updated, right? Sorry about the lateness. I'll work on my procrastination.
Lyla's pov
I had a feeling that this building wouldn't be home to a unicorn plushie factory like it suggested on the building's exterior. Seriously, it had rainbows and everything.
Thank goodness that the doors weren't guarded. That's kind of weird for a secret society plotting to overthrow the government, right?
Anyway, Cat, Ty, Hazel, and I just walked right in, still being cautious despite the colorful entrance.
The interior was completely different.
"Uh, why is there moss on the walls?" Ty asked.
The walls were grey, kind of like a sewer. Moss was growing everywhere. It sure looked like a secret hideout.
"So, I guess that he might be in there then…" Hazel said, pointing at a door.
"Yeah." Cat answered.
We all hesitated. Finally, Hazel gripped the doorknob and pulled.
"Why, Hazel. I've been expecting you." A man said. I got one tiny glimpse of a strangely familiar face and a smirking smile before everything went black.
Ty's POV
"Well, this is fantastic." Cat exclaimed from across the cell.
Yes, they put us in actual prison-style cells.
Great job at being creative, Black Alliance.
The four of us were sitting up against the walls, contemplating our next move. We had woken up in the cell after being knocked unconscious by the guards. Adam was nowhere to be found.
"There's no way through these bars. They're too close together." Lyla knocked on the steel rungs that she was leaning against for good measure.
"And we obviously can't go through these walls. It's not like we can teleport." I joked.
If looks could kill, Cat and Lyla would've been convicted for murder.
"This place looks pretty old." Hazel commented. "Are the walls solid?"
"It seems like they've been reinforced." Lyla responded.
"The floors?"
"That only works in the movies."
"So, we're stuck in here?"
"It seems like it."
"Awesome."
None of us really knew what to say after that. What do you say when you're stuck in a jail cell being held captive in the lair of an evil organization?
Suddenly, thunderous steps echoed from outside in the hall. Everyone's head popped up to see two mountinous men storming towards our cell.
"Miss Hazel," One boomed. "Your presence has been requsested by our leader. You had better come with us."
"Do I have a choice?" Hazel muttered as she rose to make her way to the door.
"Nope."
"See you guys later." Hazel hugged her arms to her sides and followed the two men out of the confining cell.
"So, odds that we'll never see her again?"
I would have been dead...again.
A/N: Thanks for reading, Peanut Gallery! Also, I hid a couple of DemiCraft references in there- Mwahaha.
