Hello hello my friends! Foamy here with another chapter! Wooooo!
Hey, lets show a little more enthusiasm here! WOOoooo!
LOUDER! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Much better.
Anyhoot, this chapter is a a tad different from the others so far. I prefer to think of it as more introspective than anything and you'll see why. Now for my lovely reviewers!
RPGPersona- You are correct, Emelia's dream is her time in the laboratory. As for the Tv part, we'll get to that another time, I have something interesting planned for it. Also, Raven's 'reaction' in the previous chapter wasn't one of pervertedness, it was one of realizing that they were both half naked.
Azarath Cat-Thank you! I hope you'll enjoy this chapter too!
Allen Blaster- Who knows, bro? This chapter ain't about her! :D XD
R&R, please and thank you!
A knock at the door of his office roused Robin from the files he was perusing. He glanced up at the monitor to his left, and saw Cyborg in the camera feed.
"Door, open." Robin spoke to the voice modulator installed into the security of the room.
The door opened and the cybernetic man entered. He paused only a moment, sticking his head out the door and scanning the corridor. Afterwards he stuck his head back in and continued to his team leader, who was looking at his with a raised eyebrow.
"Had to make sure BB wasn't out there."
Robin's eyebrow rose higher, not that anyone outside his small circle of friends could tell. They were the only ones who knew his expressions with his mask on.
"What would it matter if Beast Boy was nearby?" The detective asked, closing several files on his computer and bringing up the camera feeds throughout the tower.
"Cause I wanna talk about two things with you and I don't need him near enough to hear. Those dang elf ears of his hear too much." Cyborg sat down in a swiveling chair next to his friend and started flipping through channels. After a moment, he located the changeling in the training room. He frowned, as did Robin.
"Beast Boy? Training? At this time?" Robin asked confusedly, looking at the clock. 7:32 pm.
"He's been acting weird the past week. Like, something spooked him something bad." Cy shook his head. "He ain't the only one acting weird. So is Raven."
Robin's eyebrow really did lift off his head. "Raven?"
"Yeah man. Like, seriously bro, they're both acting weird. Something happened between them and I wanna know what."
"And you wanna check the camera feeds to find out?"
Cyborg nodded. "I can go through them a lot faster than anyone else, using my systems."
Robin frowned. "Spying on teammates…that's something Batman would do."
"Woah now Rob, I ain't going that far. I just wanna make sure it ain't something bad." Cyborg held his hands up defensively before adding an afterthought. "Ya know, to make sure something won't happen to the team."
That caught Robin's attention. After several moments of thought, he rolled his chair away from the computer and gestured to it. Almost gleefully, Cyborg hooked himself into it and started cycling through video feeds faster than Robin could keep up. He had at least four videos going on all three monitors at the same time and it was making the caped crusader slightly dizzy as he tried to keep up with them all at the same time.
Several minutes later, Cyborg sat up straighter. "Found it."
"What are you waiting for, Cyborg? Roll that beautiful bean footage."
The cybernetic man stared at Robin. "Beast Boy passed out in front of the tv and left the commercial channel on again, didn't he?"
"Once a week he does that." Robin shook his head. "I don't even understand why I watches them."
Shaking his head too, Cyborg turned back to the computer monitors and exited all extra videos. After that, he brought up a video (on all three screens, just to be sure) that started with Beast Boy exiting his room with Emelia in his arms. He looked like a cross between very agitated and very concerned, a strange expression on the normally cheerful changeling's face. They followed the changeling through the halls via alternating camera feeds until he reached Raven's door, where he proceeded to knock until the sleeping half demon woke up.
They silently listened to the quiet conversation the camera's microphone could barely hear; though whatever Raven said was lost (she was speaking through a door for most of it, after all). They watched as Raven motioned for Beast Boy to enter the room and he did so. Cautiously, of course. Ten minutes later, he still hadn't left the room.
An hour later, he still hadn't left.
Cyborg's and Robin's eyes were the size of dinner plates as Cyborg fast forwarded through the footage. When his friend finally left the room, it was the next morning. In addition to that, he looked very confused, along with having rather ruffled looking hair. Raven left her room about an hour later, looking pretty confused too.
At this point, Cyborg stopped the video and sat back in his chair. Robin leaned forward, his lips pursed in thought. Neither of them knew what to say. This was…unexpected, to say the least. Cyborg was struggling between accepting the idea that something had happened between Beast Boy and Raven and accepting the idea that something had happened between his little sister and lil' bro.
"Do you think they…" He started, but was cut off by Robin.
"Not at all."
A raised eyebrow prompted the caped crusader to explain.
"You really think either of them would jump to that out of nowhere?" Robin shook his head. "Emelia was in there too, don't forget that."
After a moment, Cyborgs' shoulders sunk. "Yeah, you're right man. I don't know what I was thinkin'."
"You were concerned for your family, that's all."
The cybernetic man sighed. "Yeah, you're right. Well…that's one problem solved then."
"And the other?"
"I need to get BB out of the tower in a couple of days."
"Why?"
"I'm finishing up the car I told him I'd make him when he got his driver's license."
Robin openly gaped at his friend, who winced.
"Yeah, I know Rob. But I said I'd do it when and if he got his license. He told me the other day that he's gonna go get it after his birthday in a couple of weeks. He thinks I'll build it after he gets his license, but I'm actually almost done with it."
Robin could only shake his head. "How the heck did you hide it from everyone? I think we would have noticed another vehicle next to the T-car and T-ship."
Cyborg suddenly got rather nervous. "Well…uh…about that…we, uh, might have a secret room in the garage."
All expression disappeared from Robin's face as he spoke. "Oh really."
"Yeaaahhh…sorry man." Cyborg looked away.
"Were you building that T-tank I declined?"
Cyborg shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "No."
"Victor…"
Now Cyborg was really uncomfortable. He wouldn't look at his friend at all. "Look, I'm almost done with the car but I need to test drive it in the tunnel when I'm done with it. I can't do that when he's here, he'll hear it and know it's not the T-car. So I need you to get him out of the tower on the day that I finish it."
Robin looked at him long and hard, watching his teammate fidget in his chair. A wry grin found its way to his face. "Sorry Cyborg, I have a date with Starfire on that day. Looks like you'll have to find a way to do it."
"Aw, come on man! Seriously?!"
"Yep. Sorry bro." Robin turned back to his computer and resumed what he was doing before Cyborg stopped by. The cybernetic man stood up from his chair and left, pouting and muttering something about 'spikey haired traffic lights'.
Robin heard him and chuckled to himself. He knew Cyborg would just ask Raven, even if she and Beast Boy were acting weird around each other. The caped crusader pushed the thought to the side and focused on the document before him.
Titans West Recruitment Dossiers
With a grin, he set to work. He already knew who he wanted to lead the team, but filling in the blanks was the harder part. There were plenty of Teen Titan candidates, but he was looking for people that might harmonize well together, like his team did. They weren't always so close, yeah, but it was experience and friendship that made his team as strong as it was. In the last Titans Tournament that was held, his team had defeated Titans East (Bumblebee, Aqualad, Speedy, Más y Menos), Titans South (Hot Spot, Wildebeest, Pantha, Argent, Red Star), and newly formed Titans North (Jerico, Kole, Gnark, Herald, and Killowatt).
He had to admit, watching Raven defeat Aqualad, Red Star, and Killowatt, each other their respective teams' most powerful member, was highly entertaining.
For this new team, he needed to make sure it was balanced as well as his own. Flight, super strength, and projectile attacks were musts for a strong foundation. He looked down his lists and found several people he wanted on the team.
Virgil Hawkins, Conner Kent, Megan Morse…Welcome to the Titans.
Down in the training room, same time-
Left, right, left left, right, left kick, feint left, hard right, knee, head grab, headbutt…
Beast Boy had worked himself up into a fine sweat, beating the hell out of the training dummy. But he wasn't stopping just yet. Not until these thoughts get out of his head. These really confusing thoughts.
She slept next to me.
She CUDDLED me.
There's no denying it. I saw it. I felt it. I smelt it.
It really happened.
But why?
Drop kick, bounce back up, rush, uppercut, follow flying dummy, 'throat grab', slam into ground, drive knee into 'stomach', watch sand whoosh out…wait.
"Crap, broke another one." Beast Boy groaned. All he wanted was something to take his mind off of what happened. He'd been trying for DAYS now and not much was working. Video games, binge eating tofu, movie marathons, comic books…nothing. Nothing was working. He couldn't get the sensations of Raven next to him out of his head.
He damn sure couldn't get her reaction out of his head.
It was so…un-Raven, the way she didn't do anything. She was just as startled about it as he was, he could tell. After all, she hadn't said much or looked at him much the past week. There were times it felt like her eyes were on him, but each time he tried to catch her he failed miserably. He just knew she was watching him, but why he didn't know. He was honestly beginning to wonder if…
Nah. He interrupted that thought before it took flight in his mind. That ain't gonna happen.
He swept up the sand from the broken dummy and set it all in the "Damaged" bin. Cy would come by once a week and fix whatever was broken in the bin. Not really thinking about anything, the changeling drug another dummy out and took his fighting stance. It wasn't a specific stance, it was something of his own concoction that worked with animal forms. He could strike from that pose with around sixty different animals, each in a different way. His right arm was partially extended outwards, his right hand roughly three to six inches from his chest (depending on what he was going to do). His left arm was extended outwards twice as far and his hands open in a claw-like fashion. His limbs were firmly in place, but not rigid. Left foot forward and right foot a little behind him, his body turned slightly to the right.
He knew it wasn't a true martial arts pose, but it felt natural to attack and defend from it. It was a stance the majority of his inner animals were comfortable with him using, not that he could explain that to anyone. They wouldn't be able to understand something so instinctual, something so…primal.
Well, Raven might. She could just read his emotions and explain it to the others.
Crap. There I go, thinking about Raven again. He mentally berated himself.
Feint left, open handed slash with right, hop back, immediately pounce forward with a hard left kick, quick spin left, follow up with left heel, chase down bouncing dummy…
An hour later, he was sitting against the wall, panting hard and covered in sweat. He'd gone destroyed at least a dozen training dummies on accident. Normally, he only messed up one or two. But today he was totally off his game and he knew why.
That freaking dream.
He drew his knees up to his chest and listened to the sound of his own heart pounding as he willingly let his mind replay it once more.
"Mommy, I'm all ready for school!"
I cracked my eyes open as I heard Emmy's voice echo out of the kitchen, up the stairwell and into our room. I smiled to myself as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I rolled over and felt the faint warmth from where she slept next to me. She had always been an early riser, but the bed was cool, not cold. She had overslept a little this morning.
I chuckled to myself. My bad habits were rubbing off on her.
I looked around our room and felt my smile grow wider. Our room was white walled and had a white ceiling, with a nice dark blue carpet. Her dresser was on one side while mine was on another. There was a small bookcase in the corner, containing her favorite books and my favorite comics.
I really should get up, but it's so comfortable underneath this dark blue comforter on our bed. I bury my face into her pillow and inhale her scent deeply. God, I love that smell.
Speaking of smells, I smell scrambled eggs with cheese and toast. My stomach rumbles, reminding me that I skipped dinner last night while working.
I reluctantly pull myself from bed and dress. As I step from the door, I can't help but to look at the stairs and giggle a little to myself. I love the way when you stomp on the stairs, it echo's through the house.
Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp.
I can't stop myself from giggling again. I was playing on the stairs in our new home.
Our home.
The thought made me so unbelievably giddy that I can't stop myself from rushing down the stairs and into the kitchen. Emmy saw me and waved, her mouth full of food. I kiss my daughter on the head and practically sprint over to her, standing at the stove with her back to me. She was making me waffles.
I wrapped my arms around her from behind and put my hands on her stomach. I could feel her shiver under my touch and it was so wonderful a feeling that it made me nuzzle her neck and murmur. "Good morning beautiful."
"You're going to make Emelia late for her first day of school if you don't hurry up and eat your breakfast." She chided me softly. I couldn't help but to smile as I buried my face into her hair and inhale deeply. God, I love the way she smells.
Contrary to popular belief, Raven does NOT smell like lavender, incense, books, tea, or anything that would immediately be associated with the dark empath. In reality, she smells just like sugar cookies.
I love sugar cookies.
"Heya Rae…" I murmur to her once more.
"Hmmm?" She murmured back, her skin getting goosebumps. I suppress another grin at her reaction. She ALWAYS had this reaction when I was verbally intimate like this. She loves it. I know this for a fact.
"I just want you to know that I love you."
I feel her stiffen for a moment and then practically melt in my arms. She looks over her shoulder and me, a timid look in her eyes. "Really? Are you certain?"
"Of course." I reply instantly. I know she's not very confident about herself in the ways of relationships and feelings, so I do everything I can to get it into her head that she's doing wonderfully and that I love her for it.
She gives me a shy smile that makes my heart leap out of my chest in adoration. After a moment, she turns to me fully and wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me down to her face. I don't even remember when I got this much taller than her, but I'm pretty sure she loves my height too.
As her face gets closer to mine, I hear her murmur softly. "Gar…I lo-
Beast Boy sighed into his arms. The dream cut off there. It almost made him cry the first time he had sat down and thought about it, which was the same morning that he had woken up in Raven's bed.
The changeling inhaled deeply, willing himself to calm down. This wasn't worth getting worked up over. It was just a stupid dream. A dream that would probably never happen.
Well, maybe not never. But most likely not anytime soon. He knew Raven. It would take her years before she'd be able to express emotion like that. Hell, he didn't even know if she would return those feelings when she reached that point in her life. She could very well find someone else, someone who could understand her better than him. Someone like that goth guy. Or that stupid pretty boy, Aqualad.
Man, that would suck. Wait all that time for nothing. What would he do then? What would he have to live for then? He'd have spent all that time alone for nothing and-
WHACK
Beast Boy had slammed his head into the wall behind him, jolting his thoughts. Rubbing his head, he was glad he had stopped himself from walking down that path of depression. It wasn't the first time he had struggled with it either, but it didn't usually sneak up on him like that. He buried his face in his knees and sighed.
He wasn't alone, really. He still had Rose, not that that was going anywhere either. He groaned as his thoughts turned to the white haired girl.
Yeah, Rose was a riot to be with. She was funny and fun, outgoing, playful, a refreshing tease, and more than a little alluring. She would go just about anywhere he wanted and he returned that favor. They had been all over the city more than a dozen times in the past few months, been to all kinds of clubs, arcades, comic shops, bowling alleys, sporting events (those Cy tagged along), etc. It had all been freaking awesome.
Except that she still kept him at arm's length.
Yeah, she was affectionate and friendly. She was caring and sweet. Heck, she openly flirted with him in front of people, not giving a damn if anyone had an issue with her talking to a green guy.
But she had never held his hand, only hugged him a few times, never shared food or drink with him, never kissed him (he didn't count the offered kiss), never gave him a nickname…nothing.
But she had asked for him to stick around anyways, saying that 'time heals all wounds'. That meant she would probably warm up to him sooner or later. That was good, he was lonely.
But how much time was she meaning? A couple of more months? A couple of years? What if she ended up not being able to get over her ex? Was he supposed to wait around to find out? What if it was years before she came around? What was he supposed to do if she didn't want him in the end? He'd be alone again and-
WHACK
"Definitely time for a new activity." He muttered as he rubbed the back of his head once more. It probably wasn't the smartest way to deal with these depressing thoughts, but it worked for now.
With another sigh and an aching head, he cleaned up what was left of the training dummies and left. He needed a badly needed a shower. It only took a few minutes to get to his room and get some clothes. Trying his hardest to not think about his aching skull, he passed right by Raven's room while on his way to the bathroom on their floor. He was actually at the other end of the hall when her door opened.
"Beast Boy?" Her voice echoed down the corridor. "I can feel that you're in pain. Are you alright?"
Reflexively, his hand found the back of his neck and he chuckled nervously as he lied. "Heh, yeah. I kinda went a little overboard in the training room and hit my head a couple of times."
Well, maybe it wasn't completely a lie.
Still, the empath made her way down to the hall towards him.
This is weird, He thought. Two years ago she wouldn't have opened the door to check on me. A year ago, she would have just stuck her head out of the door and called me an idiot for hurting myself. And now…she's standing in front of me looking concerned.
"Turn around."
"Bwah?" He sputtered, taking a step back.
Raven sighed in exasperation. "Turn around, Beast Boy, and let me heal it."
"But it's just-"
"Beast Boy!"
Reluctantly, he turned and immediately felt her hand rest on his head. Contrary to popular belief, her hand was warm, her empathic healing was cool. It was like having an IcyHot placed on your body that healed you.
"Didn't you just scold me the other day for almost hurting myself?" She murmured to his back. He heard this and couldn't help but to glance back at her. There was a rather odd look in her eyes that disappeared when they made eye contact.
His eyes broke away first. "Well, yeah, but that's cause yer the smart one, Rae. If your noggin gets a bump it could be bad. My noggin getting a bump is fine, most people think it's empty anyways."
She continued to stare at him. "Even though I like to call you stupid, you aren't, Beast Boy. So, you can't be going and hurting yourself either."
And with that, she turned around and walked back to her room, leaving an astonished changeling behind her. She had just reached her room when he found his voice and spoke more to himself than her.
"Wow, Rae…I didn't know you cared."
Her door clicked shut and he continued on his way. Several corridors later, he reached the bathroom without another incident. However, just as he reached for the door panel, he heard another door open in the distance and a very faint sound was picked up by his super sharp hearing.
"Of course I care...stupid."
He paused for a moment, then shrugged.
I'm just hearing things…
Several minutes later…
"Stupid spikey headed traffic light."
Cyborg raised his hand to knock on the door and paused. He wasn't entirely sure if she'd go along with this, but with the way things had been lately it was possible.
Steeling himself, he knocked. A moment later, the door opened for him to find mildly curious half-demon empath staring up at him.
"Hello Cyborg. What's up?"
He hesitated. That wasn't the greeting he expected.
"Am…am I interrupting your meditation?" He asked carefully.
Raven shook her head. "No, I was just looking out my window and thinking."
"Oh…well…can I come in? There's something I want to ask you, but not out here." He looked from one end of the hallway to the other nervously.
To his surprise, she opened the door and let him in. The door softly clicked shut behind him and he looked around her room. Dark and cool, just the way she liked it. He saw that her bookshelves were overfull (again) and decided to drop a hint to Beast Boy that she needed more. The green bean would get her a couple and put them together, then trick her into leaving her room while he moved them in. He had done it twice before, much to Raven's embarrassment and irritation.
But she hadn't yelled at him for it.
"Yes, my bookshelves are overfilled again. I'm sure Beast Boy will notice before long and pull his trick on me again."
Cyborg jerked his head towards her. There was a small smile on her face as her eyes lingered on the two bookcases he had gotten her. After a moment, the smile and gaze vanished as she turned to her 'older brother'. "So, what did you want to ask me?"
That was…weird, he thought as he said, "Well, I uh, was wonderin' if you could get BB out of the tower on Friday."
Her eyebrow rose. "Me? And why?"
"Well, I asked Rob first, I figured he'd just make BB go on patrol or something, but he wouldn't do it." Cyborg huffed. "Stupid traffic light, I'll get him back, just you wait…"
Raven cleared her throat and brought him back to topic.
"Right, well…a little while back, I told BB I'd make him a car if he got his driver's license. I know he's gonna go get it after his birthday in a couple of weeks, so I went ahead and made him a car but I'm not quite done with it. It'll be done on Friday and I gotta test it in the tunnel. I need him out of the house so that he doesn't find out."
"Okay."
"Aww, Com'on Rae, I really need you to do this for me it's for his birthday and I-"
"Cyborg."
He stopped rambling and looked at her. She nodded.
"I'll do it."
He took a step back in surprise. "You will?!"
"Yes."
Cyborg stepped back forward and leaned down to inspect his little sister. Her eyebrow was raised in annoyance, but there was a strange look in her eyes. His lips curved ever so slowly upwards.
"So…" He said slowly, "You're telling me that you will willingly go out and spend a day with Beast Boy, in town, in front of people?"
She stiffened, then nodded. "Of course. It's to make sure his birthday present is finished."
Hmm..., the cybernetic man thought to himself. The temperature on her cheeks increased a little bit, meaning that she's starting to blush. Staring at him in a bathing suit is one thing, this is another. I wonder…
Her voice cut through his thoughts. "You owe me a box of tea for this, though."
Cyborg laughed and headed for the door. "Sure thing, Raven. Thanks."
As he left, Cyborg could have sworn he heard her say 'No…thank YOU'.
He was probably just imagining things though.
Late the next morning, Cyborg was enjoying his meaty breakfast and a nice cup of cola as he sat across the table from Robin, who was sipping his coffee as he scoured the newspaper in his hand for anything interesting.
After a moment, he frowned. "Cyborg, Mr. Abernathy passed away the other day."
Cyborg's face fell. "Mr. Abernathy? The meat market manager?"
"Yep. Had a heart attack and passed away at the age of 58." Robin sighed and folded up the paper. He set it to the side and looked at his sad friend. "Permission granted to attend his wake and funeral."
A small smile formed on Cyborg's face. "Thanks Rob. He was a good man."
"Mmhmm." Robin took a swig of his coffee. "So, did you ask Raven to help you yet?"
The half machine man grinned. "Yeah. She said she'd do it. I didn't even have to beg."
Robin raised an eyebrow. "Really? That's…"
"Weird, I know." Cyborg nodded and pointed at his friend, a piece of bacon flopping on the tines. "And the really weird part is that-"
The common room door opened to reveal a sleepy changeling. He waved at his friends, who waved back. He groggily made his way to the kitchen and set about making himself a bowl of Smackie-O's, an unusually colored grain-based cereal endorsed by Beast Boy's favorite rapper, A Pimp Named Sweet Tea. On the box was a picture of a black man who was probably taller and broader than Cyborg. He appeared to be smacking a representation of another cereal brand down onto the ground with the logo "If it ain't Smackie-O's, it ain't worth jack!" above him.
As the changeling munched noisily on his food, Robin glanced at him.
"You look tired, Beast Boy. Up late in the training room again?"
The changeling shook his head. "Late, nah. Just pushed myself a little too hard during it. I'm freaking tired dude."
"Still tryin' to impress yer girl, huh BB?" Cyborg chuckled. Beast Boy ignored him and looked around the room. Starfire was sitting on the couch, reading a Dr. Seuss book to Martin and Emelia. His brow furrowed in thought.
"No Raven this morning?" He asked the guys, who shrugged.
"Mommy said she had to look something up and left before you got up, daddy." Emelia called out from the couch. His head jerked towards her in surprise. He hadn't asked his question out loud enough for her to hear from that far away, but she had heard it anyways. He opened his mouth to ask her how she'd heard him when the common room door opened and Raven stepped through. Her gaze swept the room and settled on him. He gulped.
Aw crap, what did I do now? He thought frantically. Pranked her? Not recently. Teased her? Not for a few days. Bugged her? Not yet.
"Beast Boy."
Her voice cut through his thoughts and he cringed. "Y-yeah?"
"There's a book fair in town Friday. Would you go with me?"
The whole room reacted in shock. Starfire's snapped around so fast she almost gave herself whiplash. Robin's coffee cup stopped at his lips, a few scalding drops spilling out of the cup unnoticed onto his lap. Cyborg's jaw dropped to the table and the bacon on his fork fell off in pieces. Beast Boy, in his shock, simply dropped his spoon and splashed milk all over himself. Emelia and Martin's heads could be seen poking up from the couch as everyone stared at the empath.
She raised an eyebrow. "What? I need someone to carry my books."
Beast boy opened and closed his mouth several times before he managed to find his voice.
"Uh…yeah, sure Rae."
Raven nodded. "Good. While we're there I want to…"
She paused and look at the kids. Without warning, she covered the couch in a dome of dark magic, effectively cutting them off from hearing what she said next.
"I want to get Emelia some things while we're out and I want your opinion on it." She said as she eyeballed the dome.
"Ooookaaayyyy." Beast Boy looked at her then the dome. "Why'd you…"
"Because it's supposed to be a surprise for her."
"Okay…so why'd-"
Raven rolled her eyes. "Like father like daughter."
It took him a moment, but he understood. "Ah, I see."
"Good. We'll leave early Friday morning. Be ready."
He nodded at her and watched her leave silently. When the door clicked shut behind her, the dome dissipated. Beast Boy looked back down at his cereal thoughtfully as Robin cleaned the hot coffee from his lap and Cyborg picked up his wayward bacon.
Robin looked up from his remaining coffee. "You know, Beast Boy, that sounded an awful lot like Raven asking-"
"Dude, don't even make that joke. There's no way in a million years that I'd be that lucky."
In the safety of her own room, Raven put her back against the door and slid down to the floor. Her hands were over her mouth and her eyes were wide. Various items in her room were thrashing about, swathed in her dark magic.
By Azar…did I just ask him out on a date?!
From the depths of her mind, she heard a giggle.
You sure did!
Damnit Happy!
*Insert Metal Gear Solid '?!' noise*
