Hey it's Raedmeout! I haven't posted in a while so I tried to write a longer story. This all takes place before TNOTD. I would like my next one to be after (I do enjoy writing hurt/comfort :) and reading it) Anyway Enjoy :D
I sighed. Noting was going right today. An explosion of flour occurred when I tried to bake a cake. The splattered flour took two hours to clean up. After that I tried to clean up the living room and spilled Artie's leftover soda all over the rug. I cleaned that up no problem, but now I got a little twitchy. I tried to print out a picture a place I might want to visit with the Doctor today. I wiped the row of sweat that was forming on my head. The printer would just not let go of the paper that looked so loosely stuck in the printer slot. I threw my hands up in frustration. Today was not going well and it was a Wednesday.
I had wanted to visit somewhere on Earth today. A place from my 101 Places to See book. I climbed up the stairs to get my book. Where shall we go? I've always wanted to go to Greece. The water was crystal clear, or maybe Egypt. They pyramids would be a wonderful site to see. But before I could go, I had to finish my work around the house. I entered my room and quickly grabbed my book. I opened it to see my leaf. I blew in on this leaf. It was a weird yet wonderful thought, makes me miss my parents. I shook my head on the thought. Focus! Gotta get things done around the house.
I climbed back down the stairs and set the book on the coffee table before returning to the printer. The paper was still hanging there looking like it was about to drop, but I knew better. It was that kind of day. I took a hold of the paper and placed my other hand on the printer. I tugged hard and the paper didn't budge.
"Yup it's one of those days."
I tugged even harder when I heard a rip and was thrown back. I grinned as I held the piece of paper only to see it was only half of it. Come on! I only had to fix the printer and then I could get ready to go with the Doctor. I glanced at the clock on the wall. 3:24. The Doctor was running late.
The Doctor whorled around the TARDIS console pressing miscellaneous buttons as he passed. The TARDIS groaned in aggravation.
"I know that you don't like her old girl but please? I would like to get there on time just this once." The TARDIS rumbled. "Woah!"
The Doctor hooked onto the console while the TARDIS shook. He tried pressing buttons but the movement was too much and ended up flying to the floor. He latched himself onto the side of the railing.
"Sexy don't fail me now!"
Next thing the Doctor knew the console room was covered in smoke. He quickly jumped out of the TARDIS and stared at his smoking machine.
"Well, guess I can't get in there now huh? What to do, what to do? Where am I- oh. Did you really not want to go and see Clara? Was it that bad?" The Doctor said as he stared into the huge empty field.
Three hours the Doctor laid in the field looking at the clouds. The TARDIS was still having a tantrum and was still smoking (not that anything was wrong with her). Then it started to get weird. He felt a goo substance begin to creep up on his arm. The Doctor jumped up straight to his feet.
"What is that?!" He bent down to where he was laying and watched the goo. It squirmed around and started forming to what looked like a muffin.
"Hmmm I didn't think there was any life on this planet." The Doctor picked his sonic out of his pocket and started scanning it. The results translated to muffin. The goo was clear though and it was most certainly not a muffin. The Doctor tried to pick it up but when he touched it, it giggled. He scanned it again.
"You are most certainly not a muffin yet you take the shape and read as muffin on my sonic… Hmmm. Never met anything like you before, at least I don't think so. So wait a minute, what are you?" The Doctor said more to himself than the muffin.
Suddenly, the muffin started to giggle. The Doctor jumped and pointed the sonic at it.
"Oh you can talk?" He said as the muffin started to bubble. It bubbled for a little while before the Doctor noticed it was growing in size. He backed up a few inches.
"What are you?"
The goo started to take the shape of a human, maybe not a human. The chin was too outrageous. After a minute the bubbling stopped and the goo started to laugh. The Doctor stared at it with wide eyes as he realized it was turning into him. It continued to laugh and started to form cloths and facial features. The goo lost is transparent shine and started on a pale tan.
"You're turning into me? What are you? Who are you? Why is your voice so high pitched? Mine isn't that high. Maybe you can't change it?" The goo Doctor shook its head.
"Voice stays high!" The goo Doctor mumbled out before busting into laughter and started running in circles. The Doctor started at it and notices the bow-tie.
"See Clara, they are cool." He mumbled to himself. "Ok well I've got to get going from this planet.. I'm not sure where I am but come on old girl please let me in?" The TARDIS groaned and cleared the smoke.
"Well that was easy."
The Doctor bounced inside when the goo Doctor followed him in.
"Oh no, no no you're not coming with me you have to stay here!"
"I wanna come!"
"No this is your home, stay here." The Doctor insisted as he opened the door.
"What does this d-"
"DON'T PRESS THA-" The Doctor lunged for the console but was thrown to the side.
4:37 and the Doctor still wasn't here to pick me up. I sat on the couch next to Artie as he watched TV. I didn't get the printer fixed, and neither could Angie or Artie. I was starting to get worried. Where was the Doctor? Sure he was late but what if something had happened to him?
Suddenly, there was a wheezing outside. I jumped up to my feet as quick as lighting. I ran outside to see two Doctors. One ran up to me and hugged me so hard.
"Ummm hello to you too Doctor." He spun me in a circle before setting me down. He didn't let go though. The other Doctor looked a mess. His hair was sticking out in every direction, he had black marks under his cheeks and his cloths were black. The cause must have been an explosion. I tried to pry the bubbly Doctors hands from my waist but he wouldn't let go.
"Let me go! Doctor are you okay?" He looked tired and about 100% done with everything right now which was a bit unusual.
"Oh hi Clara. You would not believe the day I had but I was wondering if I could come in for tea?" He put on his best puppy dog face. I couldn't resist.
"Sure but you have to get him off me first. Who is he anyway?"
"I'm still not sure but he's trouble all right. Cost me a fez that one. He owes me a new one. Anyway, come here Muffin Head!"
"Muffin Head" I asked
"That's me!" The Doctor that was attached to me shouted. He didn't let go though.
"Muffin I said come!"
"I don't wanna leave Clara! You've been talking about her all day!" The Doctor's face went bright red.
"Shut up! Let's just go and sit down for tea."
"Okay I will get the water boiling." I said trying to walk, but the weight of Muffin was too much.
"Come on Muffin we have to get inside."
"Okay!" He let go of me and bounced inside. They Doctor sighed and took my hand. He dragged me inside and into the kitchen. Muffin was already there and playing with the spoons on the counter. The Doctor stepped up to Muffin.
"Hey why don't you go and watch some TV in the other room with Artie?" The Doctor said.
"Yay! What's TV?"
"You'll see." The Doctor shoved Muffin out of the room.
"Wow, never thought to see the day where you were annoyed that much by someone.' I said as I placed the kettle on the stove.
"Me neither! He destroyed my fez and several of my bow-ties!"
"You looked silly in those anyway Doctor."
"But they are cool! They are not silly!" He clutched his bow-tie in defense. I just started laughing and how he looked. Still dirty and still the Doctor.
"Hey why don't you clean yourself up a bit? I'm going to finish making this tea." Still clutching his bow-tie, the Doctor nodded and wondered off to the bathroom.
After I finished making tea, I poured two cups. The Doctor came out still a mess but at least his hair and face looked a bit better. He slumped on the chair and sipped his tea.
"That ruff of a day huh?" He nodded.
"I'm taking Muffin back to where he belongs! Once I find it."
"You don't know?"
"No the TARDIS had a mood and crashed me in a field. That's where I met Muffin."
"How come he looks exactly like you?"
"He can change forms. I call him Muffin because he looked like a muffin when I first saw him."
"So, no adventuring for today?"
"Sorry Clara not today, unless I come back later."
"Oh, well before you leave do you think you could help me with something?"
"Anything for you Clara." The Doctor said grinning up to Clara.
"Could you help me with my printer?"
"Of course!" The Doctor jumped up from his chair. He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the living room Artie was still watching TV and Muffin was-
"MUFFIN NOO!" The Doctor and I both shouted as he messed with the printer.
"Look I got it!" He said holding up the other half of the ripped piece of paper.
Muffin is my OC for this one. I like him, crazy, weird, loud. He gave the Doctor a true reason to be very annoyed ;) Also, I haven't tried writing it the Doctor's point of view so here's a start. Oh and I finally realized I could reply to your reviews! Speaking of reviews, please leave some! They encourage me to write. Hope you liked it!
