Silence filled the room after my outburst, Ben's eyes widened. I took note of the slight guilt in them, but he quickly shook it away. Jeff looked indifferent, his hands shoved into his hoodie's pockets.
"What the fuck, man?" Ben growled, blood dripping from his eyes.
"Well, you were talking about how the piece of shit was irritating you, stuck up her ass all the time. So, I did what any good friend would do and got rid of him for you. Now, look. You have all the time you want with your little pet now that she's living in your room," Jeff chuckled, maliciously.
I threw an accusing glance over at Ben who appeared to be more than flustered. "You fucking jack ass! I told you not to kill him," Ben growled.
"If you haven't realized, bro, I don't usually listen to requests. You just better be lucky I haven't killed her yet," he laughed, arrogantly.
"Hey, buddy," I began, turning to him. "What's black, white and red all over?" I questioned, as he did me. "You. Once I'm gone slitting your fucking throat," I growled, baring my teeth.
Ben's eyes widened, his mouth turning slightly up in the corners. Jeff appeared stunned, then a laugh flew from his lips. He slapped Ben on the back, his smile stretched even wider. "Now I see why you like this chick! So feisty. And a smartass, just like you," he chuckled. "I could get along with you, chick. But I don't see you wanting to look at my beautiful face for a while."
My knuckles cracked, frustration nearly taking me over. Before I could even think of a reply, there was a knock on the door. Both of the boys froze, their eyes falling on me.
"Quick," Ben hissed, slinking forward and grabbing my wrist. He towed me across the room, nearly shoving me into the closet. Shutting the door, quietly, I heard him walk back across the room. I peeked out the crack to see Jeff leaning up against the wall, and Ben as he opened the door. I gasped at the sight of the man standing there, second guessing coming with Ben even more.
There stood what appeared to be a monochrome clown. He had shaggy black hair and a black and white spiraled cone nose. Due to Ben standing in front of him, and the smallness of the crack, I couldn't make out much else.
"Sup, LJ," Jeff nodded.
"What to you want?" Ben sighed, irritated.
A laugh burst through the clown-LJ's-mouth, as he shook his head. "Slender wanted me to come check and make sure you didn't bring any victims home again, Jeff. We thought we heard a girl yelling," he chuckled, seeming as though he could not refrain from laughing.
"You see any chick here? Besides, we all know I torture them in my room," Jeff replied, chuckling to himself.
The clown rolled his eyes, taking a look around the room. "You should really clean up in here, Ben, it looks like your closet exploded," LJ laughed as Ben stiffened at the word closet.
"Yeah, yeah, out with ya, LJ. I was about to play some Black Ops."
"Ooo, can I play?!" LJ gasped, excitedly.
"No, damn it! Go nail a kid to a wall or something!" Ben growled, appearing to try to push the clown out.
Hysterical laughter sounded, as Ben pushed him out the room, slamming and locking the door behind him. Almost immediately after, I exited from the closet, my eyes wide as I stared at the two boys. Momentarily forgetting my hatred towards Jeff, I blinked furiously, wondering what the hell I just saw.
"Okay, what was that?" I asked, confused.
"You mean Jack?" Jeff chuckled. "He's a magical clown killer thingy. Fun guy," he chuckled, shaking his head.
"Oh that's just lovely," I sighed, slumping down onto the bean bag.
But before I could even get comfortable, I noticed what appeared to be black shadows appearing to gather in the center of the room. Ben and Jeff cursed under their breaths in unison as a form took place. There stood the clown man once more, a lollipop lazily hanging from his mouth.
"Come on, Ben, please, lemme play!" the clown pouted. But that was right before his eyes fell upon me.
The entire room appeared to go silent as the clown looked me up and down, his lollipop falling from his mouth. It hit the floor, bouncing up once as I stared back at him. His jaw dropped, his head snapping over to Jeff and Ben, then back to me. He furiously blinked, confusion taking him over.
"Well, who are you?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing.
I pursed my lips, looking over to Jeff and Ben for help. Ben looked as though he was about to burst into flames at any moment. Jeff looked as though he was slightly amused.
"Umm... I'm Winter," I replied, not knowing what else to do.
"Winter, huh? What are you doing here?"
"She's a new creepypasta," Ben said, the words tumbling from his lips before anyone could stop him.
LJ looked stunned, his eyes widening even more. "A new creepypasta, you say? I don't remember Slender ever informing any of us that there was a new creepypasta arriving. He usually makes a big deal out of it."
"Yeah, he's trying to keep it quiet," Jeff shrugged. "You aren't supposed to know, LJ, that's why you aren't supposed to fucking materialize in someone's room like that. He wanted to just keep her in Ben's room until... um, until she is under control?"
"Under control? In control of what? If it weren't for the blue hair I'd say she looked like a damn human," the clown replied, appearing to doubt them.
"She... she controls the weather," Ben threw out, causing me to nearly face palm. Their lies were just getting bigger by the second. "Yeah, mainly ice and snow. Why else do you think her name is Winter and her hair is blue?" Ben continued, his story actually fitting well.
"Yep. If you upset her she could freeze you in a second, so I'd watch it LJ," Jeff chuckled.
"Or send an ice sickle through your brain," Ben continued, smirking slightly.
I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. Boys. But, it looked like they were fooling LJ.
"You don't say," LJ replied, looking over at me. "Well, I wanna see! Freeze my lollipop!" he excitedly said, picking up his lollipop that fell to the ground.
My eyes widened, not knowing what to do.
"Um, yeah, LJ, she's still trying to control everything, remember? That's why she's in here. She's still working on her aim and how to work everything. She'll probably miss and hit your head, so you might as well put that away," Jeff chuckled, his wide eyes looking over at Ben.
"Yeah, why don't you get going dude. And remember, don't mention her to anyone else. Don't need the entire mansion bombarding her, ya know? And if you were smart, you wouldn't ask Slender either. He'd be pretty pissy if he found out others knew," Ben replied, with a fake yawn.
"Alrighty. Well, it was nice meeting you, sweets! Hope to see you again soon!" LJ giggled before trotting over, giving me a hug.
A small smile formed on my lips as I hugged the clown back, watching as he then exited from the room. Ben shut the door, sliding down to the ground, relieved.
"I like him," I giggled as Jeff threw me a scowl.
"Yeah, I think we're fucking even now, Winter. I totally saved your ass there."
"And Ben didn't help at all, right?" I replied, rolling my eyes.
"Oh, fuck you," he growled.
"Shut it, smiley."
Jeff gripped his knife, appearing as though he was about to slaughter me.
"Alright, both of you, stop," Ben growled, standing. "Now. What the fuck are we going to do now? LJ is going to wonder after a while why she hasn't come out yet!"
We were silent, staring at one another. After the longest moment of silence, I knew that none of us had an answer.
