First, I would like to say that I am so grateful for everyone's participation in my little song contest from the last chapter. And actually, the winner is a guest! Thank you to April (Guest) for you suggestion, and please let me know in a review what you would like for a prize :) Or, if you get an account, you can PM me.
There were many very good suggestions, and I will probably use some of them in the future. If you recognize a song you suggested in my chapter and I have not given you a shoutout and offered a prize, please let me know! And I will still accept more songs for future chapters, so keep 'em coming :)
Oh and NoName (Guest), thank you for our sweet review. And don't worry, I won't give up on my story. You inspired me to update now :)
I don't own Austin & Ally
How did she know?
That was all Austin could think as he leaned against the counter in his bathroom, staring at the lyrics sheet Ally had given him a couple of hours earlier. He would also occasionally glance at the picture on his mirror, and wonder if she'd read his mind when she'd come in his room before dinner that night. The lyrics he was holding so deeply described his feelings about the picture, it was almost unreal to grasp that he hadn't wrote them himself. He might have believed he had if he didn't know himself well enough to know he couldn't write a lick if his life depended on it.
So the question remained. How in the world had Ally known the meaning behind that picture?
Austin was sure he'd never told anyone what that day had meant to him, even in the midst of tragedy and loss and grief, along with the added responsibility of raising a child. How could she possibly have known what it meant to him? And how could she think this work wasn't amazing? Ally told him she'd just thrown this together from what she observed of his behavior, and a little from the only song she'd ever heard him sing. Yet she'd been able to so easily grasp not only his style, but his heart; his innermost thoughts.
It was absolutely unnerving.
Shaking off all the crazy questions still swimming around in his mind, Austin was about to go to bed when he heard a noise down the hall. Confused, Austin decided to check on Cam and make sure she was alright.
Austin made his way down the hallway as quietly as he could, because like it or not there were two kids and two women sleeping up here that he might wake up at…. Austin looked down at the watch he'd never taken off today. Three in the morning. Yikes.
Austin sighed, because he knew he wouldn't be getting any sleep tonight. Well, he thought, on the positive side, at least he now had an awesome song and a woman that might finally get him out of the rut of his suckish songwriters.
"Cam?" Austin whispered, sticking his head through his niece's doorway. First, he noticed that the covers were all messed up and thrown back to the end of her bed. Second, he realized that Cam wasn't in her bed.
Biting back the panic that threatened to take over him, Austin took off down the hall. First, he checked AJ's room. The boy was sound asleep and clutching his stuffed Nemo to his chest. But there was no sign of Cam.
Next, Austin went into Trish's room. He supposed he should have knocked first, but if worst came to worst and she tried to lash out at him, he could remind her she was living in his house for free.
It didn't matter anyway, though, because Cam wasn't in there either.
Sighing, Austin glanced at the final room in the hall.
"Ally?"
Ally awoke with a start and squinted into the light that suddenly came streaming through her bedroom door. "What the…?" Ally muttered, before things came into focus. "Camryn?"
"I...I'm sorry," Cam's voice quivered. Ally was suddenly very awake now. She sat up straight and pulled the covers aside.
"Come here honey," Ally said, motioning for the little girl to join her. Cam hesitated a second before darting forward and jumping into the bed with Ally. She drew the covers up close to her neck. "What is it sweetie? Did you have a bad dream?"
Cam nodded and drew in a shaky breath.
Ally smiled at her, sympathising. "It's okay Cammy. I have bad dreams too."
"You do?" Cam looked up at her with wide, trusting brown eyes.
Ally nodded. "All the time. A lot of them are the same, too. Bad things are happening to the people I love and I know there's nothing I can do to help them."
"Me too," Cam nodded vigorously. "I have lots of dreams about plane crashes because that's how my Mommy and Daddy died."
Ally felt her heart cracking with every word the child said. She knew exactly how Cam felt.
"I do too," Ally whispered.
"Because of your husband?" Cam asked. Ally nodded. Cam pouted. "That's really, really sad. Nobody should lose their soul mate. Uncle Austin said so when he didn't think I could hear him. He told Uncle Dez that losing my parents was the worst thing that ever happened to him, but that he was happy they were together."
Ally heard a choking sound from the door and was very aware that Austin had joined them. Cam apparently hadn't noticed. Ally's eyes flicked towards his quickly and she mouthed, 'Hang on.'
Austin didn't respond, but she could tell he understood.
"I have bad dreams about that day, too," Cam continued. "It's just, usually we're all there. Mommy, Daddy, me, Uncle Austin, and Uncle Dez. Sometimes my uncles are trying to pull me away from my parents, because they're just standing there at the door to the plane where I saw them last. They're saying I can't go with my Mommy and Daddy, and I can't do anything. My parents will just wave at me with big smiles on their faces and then walk through the door. And when I see the plane start to fly away, it just blows up."
Ally's eyes widened, and she knew she'd be having her own horrific nightmares of this sort tonight. That is, if she ever got back to sleep.
Cam didn't seem to be able to stop talking. "Then there are sometimes when I'm sitting in the airport alone, watching Mommy and Daddy get on the plane like usual, and then Uncle Austin an Uncle Dez will follow them. Then they die too."
Cam was looking down now, and Ally couldn't help but notice a wet spot on her sheets where Cam's tears fell.
Ally refused to let her own tears fall and instead focused her attention on running her fingers through Camryn's blonde locks.
"Sometimes I die too,' Cam continued. "I can't move, and I'm screaming and begging someone to let me out. Then Daddy just looks at me and smiles while he says, 'Don't worry Princess. No matter what happens, Daddy loves you to the Moon and back.' That's something Daddy and Uncle Austin always say to me. Uncle Austin always said it to me, though. He asked Uncle Dez if he should stop saying it, because my Daddy used to say it and it might make me sad. But it doesn't make me sad. It helped. I made Uncle Austin say it. knew he wouldn't say it after he told Uncle Dez that, so I said it to him first, and then he started saying it again. I think if he didn't say it to me anymore I would cry."
"I would cry too," Austin said thickly as he walked further into the room. Cam looked up at him with wide eyes, and she looked like she was afraid.
"I'm sorry. Please don't be mad I woke Ally up," Cam said immediately.
"Now why on earth would I be mad about that?" Austin asked as he approached the bed.
"Because it's rude."
"Honey, I don't mind you waking me up at any time," Ally said, shocked. She was so used to AJ and Trish waking her up any time they pleased that the prospect of someone thinking they couldn't was almost bizarre to her.
"And I don't either," Austin said softly. Ally wondered if Cam had ever apologized for waking him up too.
"But...but-"
"Honey, we're here for you," Ally said, scooting over to the edge of her bed to make more room. Cam noticed and followed her lead. Ally smiled at Austin and motioned for him to join.
His hesitation was so similar to Cam's earlier that Ally almost laughed. Ally made the same gesture for him to sit down, this time with a more exaggerated effort. Austin's face slowly broke into a grin as he joined them under the covers.
"Yes Cam," he said, and smiled directly at Ally before turning his attention to his niece. Ally's heart fluttered. "We're always here for you. Why didn't you wake me up when you had a bad dream? I told you a billion times I'm never too busy for my favorite person in the world."
"You had a bad day," Cam said in a small voice. "I wanted you to get some sleep to make you feel better."
Austin didn't even bother to mention he hadn't even been asleep. He was too busy trying to figure out the root of his sweet baby niece's problems with waking people up when she needs them.
"Camryn, honey, I want you to come to me-"
"Or me," Ally cut in, glancing at Austin as if for reassurance that she should have said that. Austin smiled and nodded slightly.
"-if you ever need someone. That's why we're here Monkey. I love you and care about you. If you're sad, I want you to be happy. Do you understand?"
"But if you need someone too much they go away." The way Cam said it, as if she was so sure and so scared she was going to lose him, cut at his very soul.
"Oh Cammy," Ally whispered as she stroked her hair. Austin was suddenly grateful for her presence.
"Baby, I'm not going anywhere, do you understand me?" Austin looked into those deep, rich brown eyes. Cam had her Mama's eyes.
"But when you needed your parents, they died," Cam said. "And so then you needed my Mommy and Daddy, and they died too. I needed them just as much as you did when your parents died. I don't want you to go away. I don't want to lose you or Uncle Dez or Ally or AJ or Trish. So I don't want to need you too much. If I don't need you, you won't go."
Austin couldn't really see the sense in that, but he understood where she was coming from. Everyone he'd ever needed in his life had died when he needed them most.
But wait, that wasn't true.
"Cam, honey, I need you in my life just as much as I ever needed my parents or your Mommy and Daddy. And I need your Uncle Dez. And I need Ally and Trish and AJ too. I don't want to lose any of you either, but I've needed all of you ever since each of you came into my life. Dez is my best friend. I need him to keep me laughing and to just have a buddy to stick with me. And I need you in my life, Camryn sweetheart, because you're my whole world. Without you, I would have nothing left to keep me sane. I would have quit my music, which you know I love, and I would never have the most amazing little girl in the world to be my daughter and to make me smile when I see you."
"Your daughter?" Cam asked. Austin sucked in a breath but nodded.
"Yes Camryn. I think of you as my daughter, but I would never try to take the place of your Daddy or Mommy. I'm your Uncle Austin forever, but I knew you were special from the moment you were born. I love you with all my heart, baby girl."
"Take it from me," Ally said suddenly. Austin had almost forgotten she was in there, but then, this was her room. "Cam, when I first held AJ, I felt exactly the same as what your uncle just described. He loves you as if you were his baby."
"Come here Cam, I want to show you something," Austin said, helping her up. He looked back at the bed and smiled. "You too Ally...if you don't mind?"
"Sure." Ally smiled and followed the two crazy Moons back down the hall.
"This is one of my absolute favorite pictures in the world," Austin said quietly as the three of them stared at the picture stuck in his bathroom mirror. He had Cam sitting on the counter, and she was turned towards the mirror.
Ally stared at the photo. It was adorable. Austin, Dez and Cam smiled back at her from what appeared to be a photobooth like she'd seen at many carnivals and such over the years. There were all kinds of emotions hidden behind those smiles, Ally could tell. They looked almost….sad. Yet happy at the same time. It was incredibly hard to explain what she saw, but Ally was incredibly interested in hearing this story now.
Especially considering the song she'd written and given to Austin just hours before.
"Do you remember when we took this?" Austin asked his niece. Cam nodded.
"I thought we lost that," Cam said. "I never saw it after that day."
"I've had it in here ever since we got home," Austin said. "That was a day when I was hurting so much after your Mommy and Daddy died. But when you asked me to take that picture, I realized I had a reason to feel alive and happy. You. You were my reason, Camryn. When we took this picture….that's when I first realized that I loved you as my daughter. I always knew deep down, but in that one moment, I knew I loved you so much, that that would make my heart feel better, even if it was just for a minute."
Ally's mouth went dry. She'd never heard that story. She'd seen the picture briefly when she came up to get Austin, and it had given her inspiration to write that song for Austin, but she'd never realized the story behind the picture.
Austin's eyes met Ally's for a second and he smiled, a mysterious glint in his eyes.
Austin was boiling with rage.
"Jimmy, please, my career is on the line here! I have a great song, if you'd just listen to it-"
"Austin, you already have perfectly good songwriters, and I don't feel like taking this additional risk just because you think the songs don't live up to your high standards. You have plenty of fans that love your songs."
"Twelve year old girls like my songs. And I doubt even they like my music. My niece said my songwriters suck, and she's eight."
"I don't care," Jimmy said, looking up at Austin in that stern manner Austin hated so much. He never really liked Jimmy. That's why he only signed a year-by-year contract.
"Jimmy, how much money does my career bring in for you?" Austin asked.
Jimmy groaned in frustration and rubbed a hand over his face. Austin inwardly scoffed. This man had no kids, and a business that practically ran itself. And he was very rich. The man had nothing to worry about. He was just a jerk.
"I don't know Austin. A lot? Millions, maybe, I don't know. And I don't particularly care. Will you get to the point?"
"With pleasure," Austin said through gritted teeth. "Starr Records sucks. You've lost your edge, and apparently your ability to know talent if it knocked you upside the head. Thank you, sir, for giving me a chance in the music business for the past three years, but if you don't let Ally be my songwriter, I promise you as soon as my contract is up next month, I'll be out of here so fast your head will spin."
Jimmy was staring at him with his arms crossed, expression hard. He stayed like that, silent, for an entire minute before he spoke. "You have more guts than I thought, kid. I tell you what; play the song for me, in front of a live audience of say...twenty people, and if they say they like it better than any of your more recent songs, you have a deal. If not, you stay with our company for another year and keep the songwriters we gave you. Sound fair enough?"
Austin didn't want to think about another year at Starr Records with his current horrible songwriters, but he had faith that God wouldn't let that happen. And if He did, there had to be a good reason, especially considering Ally was a way better songwriter than any of the ones he'd ever worked with.
Austin sighed. "Deal."
"Why do I have to be here?" Ally whispered urgently. Austin grinned at her, but it didn't heal her unease.
"Because you wrote the song, and Jimmy said you had to be here or it was a no deal," Austin said, and patted her arm. "Don't worry, your song is great. I gotta go get ready."
"So why do we have to be here?" Trish asked, gesturing to herself, AJ and Cam. Dez went with Austin to help him get ready.
"Because like it or not, I'm still Cam's nanny. I am not skipping out on my job, and I had to bring AJ for obvious reasons. You, however, are supposed to be at your new job, but decided to flake out and join us, remember? You don't have to be here, you chose to."
"Which of you is Ally Dawson?"
The voice seemed to carry around the room, making the twenty or so people instantly quiet. Ally gulped and turned to the balding black man in the business suit. He looked much like her old history teacher. That teacher still haunted her nightmares.
"I am," she said, sheepishly raising her hand as if she was still in a high school class room and they were taking attendance. "Ally Dawson Green, actually."
"I don't care," the man said briskly. "Austin says you're an amazing songwriter."
It didn't sound like a compliment, so she didn't reply. This man, Jimmy, sounded awfully like he was accusing her of something.
"Well, Austin is-" Ally started.
"I never said I believed him," he cut her off. Glaring at her, he leaned closer towards her face, so close Ally felt very, very uncomfortable. "Ms. Dawson, or Green, or whatever the heck you decide to call yourself next, I would just like to point out that this is a professional recording studio, and no cookie-cutter little girl thinking she can come in here and change the world with her amazing songs-"
Ally's eyes widened as Jimmy stopped himself and straightened his tie, breathing hard. "Listen, Austin may be impressed with you in the bedroom, but you won't just sleep your way into my recording studio, and that is a promise."
Ally was so horrified and shocked that she couldn't say anything. But as it turned out, she didn't have to.
"You have some nerve!" Trish shouted, and stood up, along with Cam who said at the same time, "You can't talk to her like that!"
Paying no attention to Camryn, Jimmy pushed her aside and glared down at Trish. "And who are you?"
Ally wrapped one arm around Cam protectively, and pulled AJ onto her lap. This jerk could mess with her all he wanted, but mess with a Mama bear's cubs and you'd wish you were dead. That also counted for best friends.
"I'm Austin's new manager," Trish lied, never batting an eyelash to the fact that this had never been farther from the truth.
"Austin doesn't have a manager," Jimmy deadpanned.
"What's going on?" someone asked over her shoulder. Ally turned around to see Dez standing there, eyeing Jimmy and Trish with a suspicious expression.
Cam piped up. "Jimmy pushed me and yelled at Ally. He said Uncle Austin is only saying she's a good songwriter because-"
Ally clamped a hand over Camryn's mouth and looked at Dez hard. "Go get Austin. Now. I don't care what he's doing. Go tell him he has to get out here now. And tell him if Jimmy asks, Trish is his manager."
Dez looked at her with wide eyes, glanced over to where Trish was still arguing with Jimmy and looked back at her. He nodded quickly and took off in the direction Austin went earlier.
Ally sighed and took her hand off of Cam's mouth, wiping it on her jeans. Cam had licked her hand, trying to get her to move it.
"Camryn, honey, I don't want you to ever repeat what Jimmy said, okay?"
Cam nodded, looking down.
"Well I'd like to hear you tell me what he said."
Ally sighed. Once again someone had snuck up on her, this time instantly recognizable.
"It's nothing," Ally said, not turning to look at Austin.
He gave her a hard look before turning to Dez. "Take Camryn and AJ to the break room and don't let them out of your sight."
And just like that, before Ally could do or say anything, Dez had picked AJ up and grabbed Cam's hand, leading both kids out of the room. She sighed as Austin sat down beside her. He glanced at Trish and Jimmy once before turning back to Ally.
"Tell me what he said. Dez told me you said I had to come here now. I know you, Ally. You wouldn't call me out of work for no reason. I want to know what he said, and I want to know now."
Ally shook her head. "It doesn't matter what he said to me. I wanted you out here because he pushed Cam. Not enough to hurt her or anything, but it really pissed me off because he had no right to do that and-"
"He did what?" Austin's voice had gone deadly serious.
Ally nodded. "He pushed her out of the way to get to Trish, because they both tried to stand up for me when he said…when he said what he did."
"Ally…" Austin grabbed Ally's hand and looked her straight in the eye. "Please, you have to tell me what he said to you. If it upset both Cam and Trish, and you obviously don't want to tell me then-"
"He basically called her a hooker, to put it nicely," Trish said, suddenly. They both turned around, but Ally noticed Austin never let go of her hand. Instead, he tightened his grip on her.
Jimmy was looking at them, really scowling, and rolled his eyes. "I never called her a hooker."
"Oh, I'm sorry," Trish said in her sarcastic voice. "No, he said it more like he thought she was a wh-"
"Trish, don't even say it," Ally said, closing her eyes. "That's not a nice word."
She could see Austin fighting a smile from the corner of her eye, whereas Trish, however, looked livid.
"Austin, as your manager, I insist you not to even play your song to this jerk and refuse to sign another contract. The deal you made was not official, therefore not legal or binding, and Ally has not sold her rights of her song to you or to Starr Records. Neither of you owe this jerk anything, and you can be completely rid of him when your contract is up," Trish said. Ally blinked at her in surprise. She'd never heard Trish sound so professional.
"You can't do that!" Jimmy yelled. "We made a deal that he would stay here another year no matter what."
"Was that put in writing?" Trish asked, crossing her arms.
"No." Jimmy glared at her. "But-"
"Were there any witnesses?" Trish asked,
"No," Jimmy said dejectedly.
"Then you have nothing," Trish grinned.
"He gave me his word," Jimmy said, almost sounding desperate. Ally found it pathetic.
"Ah, but I never performed the song," Austin said. "And I don't have the rights too, anyway, right Ally?"
Ally smiled and shook her head. "My song, your loss bucko. That'll teach you to push a little girl around."
"That, along with the fact that you were all up in Ally's face, accusing her of horrible things, could be determined as harassment, and I'd be happy to report you to the police if you don't let Austin out of his contract, effective immediately."
Austin looked as impressed as Ally felt. Trish might make a good manager after all, even if she was only pretending.
"I don't think you can-"
"Jimmy, you pushed a child. Do you want me to add assault to the charges?" Trish asked, getting her phone out as if ready to dial.
"No, no," Jimmy said grudgingly. "You actually signed a six month contract by mistake anyway. I led you to believe it was a year contract because I hate dealing with all the paperwork a new contract requires. No cops, no contract. You're out."
"All's well that ends well," Trish said grinning. Then she motioned for Austin and Ally. "This way children. We must go pick up the actual children."
The car ride was silent once they'd gotten everyone settled and were on the way home. Austin was well aware that he'd just lost his job. He was also aware that the others knew too, and were trying not to say anything for his benefit.
Finally, after an agonizing five minutes where not even AJ made a peep, Dez spoke up. "I have an idea."
"This oughta be good," Trish muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Shut up, you two-faced, lying-"
"Dez!" Everyone in the car shouted at once.
Austin glared back at his best friend who was two rows behind his in the van he'd had to acquire recently. "Knock it off Dez. Don't make me come back there."
"And Trish, you shouldn't derail Dez's ideas before he shares them," Ally put in. "Please Dez, share your idea."
"We all know Austin is an amazing singer and dancer, and can play practically any instrument known to man, right?" Dez asked. Everyone muttered in agreement. "And Ally is a great songwriter?"
"Dez, get to the point," Austin said sighing.
Dez huffed. "That's what I'm trying to do! Austin can perform; Ally can write songs; I can direct and shoot and edit any kind of video you choose, and I know my way around a sound system. Also, I think Trish would actually make a good manager. She got Austin out of that contract easily enough."
"That's true," Austin said. "Jimmy was probably too stupid to realize none of us had a clue if we could actually have him charged for assault or harassment. She's quick on her feet."
"So….why don't we create our own recording company to produce Austin's music? We have everything we'd need right here in this car, and anything or anyone extra can be hired. We have plenty of money saved if we need more equipment or more add-on space. What do you guys think?"
Austin had to admit, the idea had an appeal to it. But it also sounded very time consuming.
"Sounds like a lot of work," Trish said.
"Don't forget we have two kids to take care of, and I have to teach Cam all her schooling," Ally said.
"I'm okay with skipping that," Cam piped up. Austin laughed, glancing at her in the rear view mirror.
"No way little missy."
Cam huffed. "Then send me to public school. I'm sure there's plenty of teachers there."
"You're not going to public school," Austin said.
"And I'm not sending my son to daycare," Ally said, shaking her head.
"No, that won't happen," Austin assured her. "Our kids will be raised by us."
Everyone stopped talking when he said that. Austin sighed, realizing his mistake. "You know what I mean."
"We'd all work from home, at least until we got the place up and running, got a building and hired people to take over," Dez said, using his begging voice. "Come on guys, please? This would be an amazing opportunity for everyone and nothing would even have to change."
"I agree with Uncle Dez!" Cam said excitedly.
"Me too!" AJ exclaimed. Austin winced.
"AJ honey, inside voice," Ally chastised him. Austin tried not to grin. He found himself doing that a lot around Ally.
"I'm in if you guys are. But then, I don't really care. I live with you guys for free and mooch off your income. And as long as there's something coming in, I'm all good," Trish said. Austin rolled his eyes. Hadn't he just thought the same thing last night about her living there for free?
"Uncle Austin?" Cam said.
"What is it, Monkey?" Austin asked sighing.
"You have a CD of you singing Ally's song with you, right?"
"Yeah…" Austin could already figure where this was going. "You want to hear it?"
"Yes!" Cam was practically bouncing in her seat. AJ was too. "That way, we can all hear how good you sang, how good Uncle Dez did with the editing and stuff, and how good Ally's lyrics worked. Then we decide if y'all should make a recording studio or whatever."
The idea was reasonable. Austin laughed and glanced at Ally who shrugged, grinning, and handed him the CD she'd had in her purse. Austin slipped it in the car layer and his voice suddenly filled the car as he sang Ally's lyrics.
Loving can hurt
Loving can hurt sometimes
But it's the only thing that I know
When it gets hard
You know it can get hard sometimes
It is the only thing that makes us feel alive
We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts are never broken
Time's forever frozen still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket
Of your ripped jeans
Holdin' me closer
'Til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
Wait for me to come home
Loving can heal
Loving can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know (know)
I swear it will get easier
Remember that with every piece of ya
And it's the only thing we take with us when we die
We keep this love in this photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Our hearts were never broken
Time's forever frozen still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket
Of your ripped jeans
Holdin' me closer
'Til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
And if you hurt me
That's OK, baby, only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Oh you can fit me
Inside the necklace you got when you were 16
Next to your heartbeat
Where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul
And if you hurt me
Well, that's OK, baby, only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
When I'm away
I will remember how you kissed me
Under the lamppost
Back on 6th street
Hearing you whisper through the phone,
"Wait for me to come home."
They'd gotten to the house before the song had finished, so Austin turned around in his seat to see what everyone thought of the song. Dez and Trish sat wide-eyed, not arguing for once, in the third row, looking stunned. In the middle row, Cam and AJ were grinning ear-to-ear. And Ally….
"Ally, are you okay?" Austin asked when he looked at her face, which had gone alarmingly pale.
"I've never heard one of my songs sung with such passion when I wasn't even the one singing it," she said with wide eyes as she turned to look at him. "Thank you so much! This is amazing!"
Suddenly her arms were wrapped around his neck, and Austin found his arms snaking around her thin waist, and burying his face in her hair.
"This is the best thing ever," Ally whispered in his ear. Austin picked his head up and looked at his four companions, all wearing identical knowing expressions, except Dez who seemed to be making a kissy face, but looked more like a bloated fish.
"Well then," Austin said, pulling away. "I guess we're making a recording studio, huh?"
He knew his answer when he was met with five squeals of delight.
Hey guys! Hope you liked the update, and the song April(Guest) suggested! I know I loved the song. For those of you who don't know, it's Photograph by Ed Sheeran. It fit the last chapter well, and I just had to use it. Please continue sending in songs!
I don't own anything you recognize.
God bless you all!
