BP: Remind me never to go shopping again. Shortly after I came home, I felt really cold, although the weather was warm. I checked my temperature, sure enough, I had a high fever. Then, after I had the fever comes the flu. That's it! I am never going shopping again! By the way, I do not own the messages sent by A, nor do I own the poem.
Watch your backs, lover boys. See what happens when you don't? –R
Yes, they saw had seen what happened when they don't watch their backs. Fuji had the scary message drawn on his cast. Someone, definitely R, had snuck into Fuji's ward and wrote this when he's asleep. The question is who is it? Even the police informed them that the messages were untraceable. Someone had erased the trace as soon as they sent the messages. Also, to stay true to his lovers (more like redeem himself in his conscience), he told his English teacher that he needs some space.
Fuji was back in school as soon as he was discharged from the hospital. During lunch time, before leaving to buy his food, he said to his lovers, "I'll meet you at the table next to the drink stall." They agreed, and went their separate ways to buy their food. After buying his food (which was the chicken cutlet set with salad), they met up with at the said table, and sat down to eat.
"We're invited to this Saturday's party. Are you in?" Tezuka asked his lovers.
"Definitely. We could do with a stress breaker." Sanada replied. "Since exams are coming up and all…" he trailed off as he took a bite of his sandwich. His lovers nodded, agreeing with what he said.
At the table next to them, there was a lone girl sitting there, eating salad. The St. Ishiyama Academy cafeteria is a scary place, and not just because of the food. It's a lot like the tables outside restaurants in Tokyo- the place to see or be seen- if you're a teenager studying in St Ishiyama and live within the Tokyo district. The girl was spared the shame of sitting alone, when they saw Shizuka and her friends place their trays on the table. "Hi, Ringo. Sorry we're late. The salad stall is really crowded."
Meanwhile, Shalnark leaned forward, and whispered, "The four of them are definitely going to the party tomorrow. What do you say, Feitan?"
"I say we go as well. Keep an eye on them for more blackmail. Where's Ryoma, by the way?"
"He went to the classroom to get a book." Shizuka replied vaguely. They all knew getting a book meant scaring the other four lovers. They wondered what Ryoma is currently doing to scare them.
When he returned, his friends asked him what he had done. Ryoma simply said, "I'm going to break the already shaky relationship between Fuji and his other three lovers using that English teacher. I am going to slowly break all of them up." Ryoma typed a quick message and sent it to them, when Pakunoda mentioned that the four lovers are going to the upcoming party on Saturday.
Meanwhile, all four of their phones rang. They opened their phones to find the same message.
Lions and tigers and bastards oh my! There's no place like parties. See you there. –R
"looks like whoever is R is invited as well." Tezuka mumbled.
"Yeah. We will catch that R person on Saturday, no matter what." Fuji said, determination in his eyes. The other three nodded their resolve.
"We'll watch out for the people who have their phones out during the party, and one of us will try to get close enough to see what he or she is texting. If it is suspicious, we'll report back to the others immediately, and confront him or her." Sanada said.
"Sounds like a plan."
Read Page 22 –R
Fuji frowned at the note stuck. The handwriting on the note is almost like the one usually seen in printed books, it's very neat. He turned, and read the following poem.
It's a number.
It's a song.
It's a boy.
Smooth.
Pearl joy packed.
Gold falafel,
As though ice.
It's four-thirty.
Morning with
Phone calls.
It's deaf mute.
It's cheap.
A foreign car.
Maybe bingo.
Lucky night?
Something says
It smells bad.
"What is that, Syusuke?" Atobe asked Fuji. Fuji was so entranced by it he simply walked out the door, ignoring his other lovers calling out to him, and went to the classroom where he knew his English teacher is.
Shalnark, best known for his stealth, called Ryoma on his phone. "You're right, they've made up. Nice work, Ryoma." He took some pictures silently, and snuck back to his class.
KISS BYE BYE TO YOUR LOVERS, FUJI
Fuji didn't know what it meant, as he straightened his hair, smiling at the fact that he had made up with his English teacher.
What he didn't know is that this is part of a plan to break him.
Don't say I never gave you anything. Turn on your computer. –R
You are gonna be soooo pissed –R
At home, the three of them turned on the computer, and there was an email sent to them. They clicked on the attachment, and saw pictures of Fuji kissing the English teacher.
Dear Lover boys, I think someone's boyfriend has a LOT of explaining to do. –R
The email came with this short note.
As soon as Fuji got home, the other three confronted him.
"How could you do this to us, Syusuke?" Atobe demanded. "After all we've been through."
"I could've said the same for you, Keigo. You and Shizuka were also dating." Fuji shot back. He remembered a message from R, that said Enjoy your gimlets? Well, sorry, darling, but the fantasy's over. Atobe is hiding something from you all. And trust me...you don't want to know what it is. One of these things doesn't belong. Figure it out quickly...or else. –R. Fuji, curious, went to investigate, only to find Atobe and Shizuka kissing in the classroom.
"Yeah, but we broke up." Atobe replied.
"Yeah, that was because she found out about you." Fuji laughed bitterly.
Sanada and Tezuka looked at the other two lovers in shock. However, they did not say anything because they can't exactly say they have been faithful either.
"I guess this is the end?" Fuji smiled bitterly.
When they did not answer, Fuji simply went to his bedroom he shared with his lovers, packed his stuff, and went out the door…all in complete silence. "I know how Ryoma must've felt then." was his final words before closing the door.
Atobe got up shortly after, and packed up and left as well, knowing his secret is exposed.
The next day, Ryoma noted that only Tezuka and Sanada are together during lunch, but Fuji and Atobe seemed to be missing. Shalnark caught a brief glimpse of Fuji scuttling through the cafeteria when he stopped there to grab a soda before heading off to do his Literature homework, apparently hoping no one would see him buying a tuna sandwich and sneaking out to the flagpole to eat it by himself, since he's probably no longer welcome at his lover's table. He probably broke out of the group, just like Ryoma. Unlike Ryoma, he doesn't really have reliable friends, as those friends he was sometimes seen with only followed him for his popularity.
Ryoma smiled, seeing one of the It Crowd members doing the Walk of Shame through the cafeteria. Revenge is sweet indeed.
Thanks for getting Fuji out of my way. Atobe was a bonus –R
Feitan laughed at the expression on the two stoic people's faces. He sent a message to the other two.
Look at you, all alone in a crowd. I win! Xoxo – R
Although they may be separated, the four still thought the same thing.
They will find out who R is on Saturday.
BP: I know, I got writer's block and also I only have 15 minutes, but please review!
