A/N: Hello my lovelies! Sorry this update took so long :/ Anywho~I don't own Zelda, enjoy!

Chapter 9: You're Out

As the bell rang, both Link and Peatrice started back to the school. He tried saying goodbye, though the other had already ran back into the school before he even stood.

As Link walked into the school himself, he was soon confronted by Fledge. The dirty blonde sighed in relief, giving him a sympathetic smile.

"Ah, Link! There you are." His worried smile, turned into a worried frown. "Are you alright?"

Link looked away and nodded, before turning and walking down the hall. Fledge followed slowly behind him, rubbing his forehead. "Ah, damn it…"

Both walked into the science room, neither of them saying a word. The room stayed silent as they grabbed their things, until Groose and the rest of the Cool Kids walked in.

"Oh, look who it is." Pipit smirked, his dimples prominent.

"Ah, the drama queen." Groose teased, smirking with his thick lips. "Why don't you do us all a favor and grow up?"

Link rolled his eyes as the crew laughed, and teased him over and over.

He then gathered his things and left the room without a word. Fledge followed slowly behind.

"Link!" he called, trying to catch up.

The younger let him catch up, but still refused to say a word. He only raised a golden eyebrow at him.

Fledge was quiet as his questionable expression for only a moment. "You know I didn't have any part of this, right?"

Link only moved his feet to get to his next class. He didn't shake his head, he didn't make a sound; he only walked into the math room and sat at an empty table near the front, by himself.

Fledge followed, sighed and then sat at his table with Pipit soon joining him.

Pipit chuckled to himself. "Wow, Groose really outdid himself, huh?"

"Outdid himself?" Fledge scoffed, rolling his angry chocolate colored eyes. "That was a bit harsh for someone who hasn't done anything to yet, isn't it?"

"Whatever, Fledge. You just don't get it." Pipit rolled his own denim colored eyes. "How about you get a sense of humor?"

"I'll get a sense of humor, when you start to be funny."

"That was funny." Pipit scoffed. "Goddess, Fledge. You're such a stick in the mud."

"Well, at least I'm not a jerk."

"A jerk? Me?" Pipit sarcastically laughed. "He is the one that started all this shit. Nothing was wrong until he showed up!"

"What the hell did he even do?" Fledge's face was growing pink in anger.

"He's tearing the Cool Kids apart!"

Fledge rolled his eyes again. "Yeah, well maybe that's for the better."

The freckled teen almost looked horrified. "For the better? What the hell are you even talking about?"

"Because, Pip, we're not even 'Cool Kids'! Link was right, we're not cool. We're just jerks!"

Pipit just shook his head angrily. "No Fledge, you're not a cool kid! I see what the other guys were saying now! You're just an asshole."

Fledge squinted his chocolate eyes. "Oh, I'm the asshole? Looks who's talking…"

Pipit then angrily squinted his denim eyes back. "Whatever, Fledge! You're the bratty little nag who's always on our backs about being jerks, or whatever! You're not a cool kid! You don't get us!"

Fledge scoffed. "I get you perfectly! You're just a bunch of bastards who go around and terrorize anyone that isn't like you!"

The auburn only rolled his eyes. "Well, if you don't like it, you don't have to be one of us! If fact, you shouldn't!"

It was Fledge's turn for an eye roll. "Well, why would I want to be?"

"Well, if you don't, then why don't you just stay out of pour way and leave us the hell alone?" Pipit yelled back, making the few people in front of them look back, intrigued.

"Fine! I will!" Fledge then stood, and picked up his books. "I don't want to tarnish my reputation any more than I already have!"

As Fledge left the table, Pipit just rolled his eyes once more and scoffed. "Whatever."

Fledge then exhaled slowly in an attempt to calm himself down. He walked over to the empty table Link sat at and just stood for a moment, before the blonde looked up.

"Can I sit with you?"

Link looked down at his books. "What about your crony over there?"

"Pip's being a douche as usual." Fledge then rolled his chocolate eyes. "You know I didn't have anything to do with that note, don't you? I mean, come on…"

Link sighed and nodded, as he pointed to the chair next to him. Fledge gladly sat down in it, almost slamming his things down on the table surface.

"Why the hell was I even friends with them to begin with?"

Link stared at him for a moment. "Yeah, why were you?"

Fledge thought for only moment and sighed. Like he didn't know the answer. "Only because I was all by my lonesome and Karane decided to be nice to me…guess it kind of backfired." He shook his head. "I was forcing you to become one of them, wasn't I? Like Karane did to me…"

Link smiled just a little. "Well, you were just being nice. You wanted me to have friends, like Karane wanted for you."

Fledge nodded, and sighed again. "She might be the only sweet one out of all the rest."

Link tilted his head a tad. "What about Zelda?"

Fledge let out a short chuckle and raised a single, thick eyebrow. He was about to respond, before they heard the famous clap of their teacher. The pair then both turned their attention to her, as she began to speak.

"Sorry for the delay class, I had to-" she cleared her throat, and tried to hide her blush. "Confirm something with Professor Mido."

That means flirt.

"Anyway, we have a lot to cover today. So listen up!"

She began to scribble whatever it was their lesson was about on the board, but Fledge couldn't pay attention. Neither could Link.

Link then got out a piece of paper and began to scribble words on it. He then passed it to Fledge.

What did Pipit say?

Fledge read the note, looked at Link, smirked and then took his own pen to scribble back words.

In short, I'm not part of the Cool Kids anymore.

Link read it swiftly, nodding, before he then wrote again.

Isn't that a good thing?

Fledge sighed as he read.

It is, unless you know what happens to the last person who was kicked out of their group.

Link raised a blonde eyebrow as he read.

Who? And what happened?

Fledge scribbled words.

You wouldn't know him. He had to change schools.

Link's cerulean orbs widened at these words. He was about to write back, before the teacher hit the board with her ruler. "Fledge! Link! Are you two paying attention?"

"Yes mam." Fledge answered sheepishly, as Link nodded. A pink blush had its grasp on both of them.

"Alright, well this will all be on the quiz tomorrow. So you'd better take notes, and not just pass them."

The rest of the class chuckled quietly at the rest of them, before the teacher clapped her heads again. "Listen!"

The class then turned their attention back to her, as Fledge and Link sighed, before they took out their own notebooks to take notes.

Meanwhile, Pipit was doodling in his notebook. He sketched a doodle of a certain pigtailed girl he had the hots for. Cawlin, who had taken the seat to his left, nudged him and raised his eyebrows.

"Shut up." He mumbled, ripping the paper out of his notebook and crumbling it up.

Cawlin chuckled, before his gaze shifted to Link and Fledge. "So, are those wannabes finally out of the Cool Kids?"

Pipit then smirked, showing off his prominent dimples. "You bet."

"Good." The shorter teen leaned back, smirking. "It's about time."

Pipit nodded, as the bell finally rang. The pair both stood, gathered their things and began to walk to their last class.

On the other side of the room, Fledge and Link did the same.

"You know, I almost feel sorry for those losers." Cawlin chuckled.

"I know. They'll never be like us." Pipit stated, proud as a peacock.

Meanwhile, Fledge and Link followed slowly behind.

"You know what, Link?" Fledge sighed, holding his books firmly.

"What?"

"I almost feel sorry for them…"

Link looked curiously up to his friend. "Why?"

Fledge almost stopped to prove his point. "Well, they're such jerks. I mean, they won't amount to anything much if they're dicks about everything, right?"

Link nodded, as they walked into the art room. "I guess I kind of get what you're saying."

Fledge smirked, proud of his argument, before they looked around the room. "So obviously we can't sit with them anymore, huh?"

Link nodded, looking around the room and finding an empty table in the back. He pointed to it abruptly. "Oh! Fledge, there's one!"

The pair then scrambled to the table quickly and sat in the seats.

"Good. I can't even see them from here!" Fledge smirked.

"Fledge, they're two tables away from us."

The dirty blonde sighed and raised a single finger to his mouth. "Don't remind me!"

Link chuckled, before he heard someone clear their throat.

The pair both looked up. "What do you think you're doing?"
