Authors Note: Since it currently is 4 days and counting until I am on vacation from school, it's really stressful and I haven't had much time to write. I currently have two stories on hiatus, and I have to finish writing the two I am working on right now. I don't really have a set story plan for this. I know where it's going to go. I just don't know how many chapters it will take me to get there exactly. I believe at one point I did have an exact number down as well as the chapter plans, however...well I don't know where that went unfortunately.
Currently I have 12 chapters written, and the end is getting close. I hope to have around 15-20 chapters by the end. Hopefully I will be able to finish it all during my holiday as well as my other on going story. I will have to pick up the two hiatus stories after I'm done these two. Because if I start on the other two I will probably end up just losing my interest in all the stories. Work with what I have going for now!

"Haru~hi!" the twins crooned when she stepped into the hosting room. She smiled in the general direction, knowing fully well that it was probably the last day she would talk to them in the longest time. The hooked their arms around hers and tugged her further into the room. It seemed very nostalgic, knowing that their arms would soon be absent in her life. Something she had gotten use to. "For the party, Kyouya agreed that you can dress up as a girl for half of it so we can dance with you!" Kaoru said happily.
"We get to dress you," Hikaru said with a grin and tugged her into the backroom. Shoving her into a chair before tugging at her hair to get her ready for the male portion of the night. Some fabric was handed to her and she was left alone to get ready. She pulled on the pants and shirt, tugged on the vest and buttoned it. Then slid the jacket on, buttoning it before heading out and asking for help with the tie. Hands deftly tied them.
"Thank you," she hummed with a smile. The person was interrupted before they could reply by the twins. They pulled her away and studied her before doing a last few adjustments and giving thumbs up.
"Perfect!" they crooned before linking their arms together. "Hey, Kyouya, how is Haruhi supposed to dance if she can't see?"
"I couldn't dance before," Haruhi admitted, twirling her cane in her hand slightly. "I could just do something else."
"She and Mori-senpai will be sitting down and hosting during the dance. Then she'll be called away for an appointment and then we'll bring her back a couple minutes later as a female, then 'he'll' come back near the end of the party to say goodbye to the guests," Kyouya explained, "She'll be replaced by Mitsukuni during the latter half so Mori-senpai isn't alone."
Haruhi nodded her consent before unfolding the cane and tapping it against the ground twice, "So, Takashi-san is my escort?" Haruhi questioned, raising her eyebrow. The others were silent for a while.
"Haruhi, why did you call Mori-senpai, 'Takashi-san'?" Tamaki asked frowning. Haruhi shrugged a shoulder.
"I didn't know his last name the first time I talked to him, called him Takashi-san. He hasn't corrected me otherwise since," Haruhi explained, then sighed, "What difference does it make? I call the twins and Kyouya by their given name, Hani-senpai requested that I call him Hani-senpai, and you haven't told me to call you anything, Senpai."
"Call me Tamaki then!" Tamaki spoke, frowning deeply at the thought that Haruhi was referring to other males by their given name. The girl sighed with a faint smile.
"There, now that that's cleared up," she adjusted her tie, "Let's go host."

Takashi watched the entire events. The twins were dancing about happily. Kaoru looked ecstatic that he could hear the music that was swirling about the room. Tamaki and Kyouya spun gracefully with their respective partners. Tamaki flitting off from girl to girl the moment the song changed. Kyouya took longer to leave his partner before carefully selecting another one. Mitsukuni twirled happily with an albino girl.
Idle chatter filled the air around him and Haruhi as girls waiting to dance with their chosen Hosts nibbled on pastries. Takashi looked down as Haruhi pushed a cup of tea towards him as she listened intently to a girl chattering to her. Smiling and nodding at the right times. She gave a sympathetic look towards the girl as she spoke her sadness about the twins leaving. Haruhi quickly asked her if she would rather have the twins stay there with their disabilities. Of course it was intended to be a harmless question, but the girls instantly started defending themselves and making it over dramatically sad. Sobbing and apologizing to Haruhi.
The girl just smiled through it and said that she understood what they meant, she was just wondering. The girls cooed for Haruhi's understanding nature before they returned to their previous conversation.
Takashi watched as Mitsukuni disappeared into the crowd and led a girl onto the dance floor. She was different than most of those who came to the Host Club events. Black straight hair and a black dress. He remembered seeing her with the Black Magic Club. The smile on Mitsukuni's face was something familiar to him, but he couldn't place it.
A watch started beeping and Haruhi pushed the button on her watch quickly. Her companion looked at her and handed her the cane. "Excuse me, ladies," Haruhi said with a smile, "I have an appointment that I as unable to reschedule," she said, not exactly lying. She did have an 'appointment' with the twins. The girls moaned their disappointment, but Mitsukuni distracted them by jumping onto his cousins' lap and grinning at him.
"Ne, Takashi, can I have some cake?" he asked cutely allowing Haruhi time to escape before the girls tricked her into staying. She hurried along the edge of the room, ignoring the loud sounds of the music and chatter. Kyouya spotted her and walked over, leading her from the room. Telling any who tried to stop them for a chat that Haruhi had an appointment that she couldn't miss. When they got to the door, the twins slipped away from their partners and began dancing with each other. Screams were heard and Mitsukuni quickly distracted all the girls by kissing Takashi on the cheek. Haruhi stifled a giggle when Kyouya explained what happened before the twins whisked her away.
Makeup was spread on her cheeks, eyes and lips. A wig placed upon her head, hair curled and styled to look natural. They gave her contacts to make it seem like she could see. She tugged on the dress herself and pulled the shoes on. They, thankfully, allowed her to have flat shoes. She would die if she were forced into heels. As she stepped out, she heard duo intakes of breath.
"Dang, when you look like a female, you really look like a female," Kaoru said grinning at their creation. Haruhi placed her hand on her hip. Hikaru leaned on his brother and grinned.
"A bit flat," he teased, Kaoru laughed. The contacts that were in her eyes made them wonder what her eyes would truly look like before the accident. They noticed her hands kept going up to her face to adjust her sunglasses. However, without them, her fingers touched flesh and she tried to pass it off by brushing her hair out of her face.
"We have to escape back to the party; we'll dance with you in a bit!" Kaoru called, squeezing her arm before tugging his brother after him. Haruhi smiled kindly after them before wringing her hands together. She felt exposed without her sunglasses, and lost without her cane. However, she shoved those feelings from her thoughts.
Someone entered the room and there was a long moment where no one spoke. Haruhi knew the person hadn't moved from their position. "You look beautiful," Tamaki rasped out finally, startling Haruhi. She released a breath she was holding and placed a hand over her chest in relief.
"Thank you, Senpai," she said, then paused, "I mean, Tamaki."
Tamaki beamed at that and walked over to her. "May I have the first dance with you?" he asked kindly, Haruhi frowned at this and shook her head. Causing him to fly into the corner. She stayed rooted in her spot and released a breath.
"It's a party for the twins, I'll dance with them first," she said with a nod, and smiled kindly. "Also, Hani-senpai requested for me to dance with him earlier. So, I'll dance with you fourth."
Tamaki stayed in his corner, not wanting to be the one she danced with first. Of course, he knew she wouldn't regardless of what he said. Therefore, within a few seconds he was out of the corner and bowing towards her. "I shall accompany you to the ballroom then, hime."
"Please don't call me that," Haruhi mumbled, shaking her head. Tamaki frowned and straightened. Girls always loved it when he said things like that. Why didn't she? She extended her hand and he took it lightly. Pressing a kiss onto the top and guiding it to his upper arm so she could hold it as they walked. Her fingers curled around the material and she sighed slightly. He guided her from the room. "Tamaki..." the girl started softly, but she didn't speak again until he prodded her too. Curiosity getting the better of him. "What do you do when you like someone and they like you back?" she asked a faint colouring rising to her cheeks. He stared at her with wide eyes. He became flustered and before he could answer her in any form, she heard the music and reached forwards. Grasping the door and opening it. Releasing her companion.
Kaoru saw her and instantly wandered into the crowd and stole her before Tamaki could go after her. The twin spun her around, laughing as he did so. Haruhi smiled fondly and tried to keep her balance. Luckily, Kaoru held her firmly so she wouldn't careen off balance. He twirled her around and instantly she knew the partners were switched. The same height, but completely different. He smelt spicier than his twin did, and his moves were much more playful than his twin was. Haruhi laughed lightly. "Hello, Hikaru," she spoke quietly as he twirled her around. He didn't react to hearing his name, just smiled lightly.
"How is the dance?" he asked dipping her lightly.
"Fairly good," she shrugged a shoulder, "I'd rather be studying, but if you and Kaoru are happy, it makes up for the lost studying time." Hikaru had to smile at this. He never thought that Haruhi would be saying those words to him. However, before he could tease her about it. A small blond skipped over and interrupted their dance. Stealing her from him and spinning off into the crowd. Hikaru frowned before quickly selecting another partner and dancing with her. A smile plastered on his face.
"Haru-chan," Mitsukuni cheered quietly, "You should go and see Takashi after you're done dancing!"
"I can't," she responded innocently, as he spun her around, and around.
"Do you not want to see him?" Mitsukuni asked just as innocently with a smile. Haruhi shook her head.
"I can't see him," Haruhi returned bluntly, "Literally."
The smaller boy laughed at that and apologized, "You should go and visit him. I could tell he wanted to see you dressed like this, he caught a glimpse of you dancing with one of the twins."
Haruhi flushed lightly and nodded her head, "I'll go and see him then, I still need to dance with Tamaki-senpai." Mitsukuni nodded with a smile. Haruhi remembered something, "Didn't you say a girl was coming to dance with you? Did you dance with her already?"
Mitsukuni giggled, "Yeah, Takashi was curious about her."
The two of them laughed lightly, Takashi was curious about everything regarding his small cousin. The song ended and Mitsukuni gave her a hug before skipping away. Tamaki quickly taking his place without hesitation. He spewed out some romantic garbage in her mind, and she let out a faint sigh. Shaking her head. He began talking about how happy he was to be able to dance with his daughter. His mind jumped around a bunch after that and by the end of the dance, he raced off to tell Kyouya something. Leaving her alone. She quickly made her way to the edge of the room after that. Doing her best to avoid people.
It was Kyouya who found her and escorted her towards where Takashi and Mitsukuni were sitting. She thanked him and Mitsukuni handed her a large slice of cake, which she wouldn't finish, and a cup of tea, which she would have a refill of later on. The other girls drowned out anything Haruhi wanted to say, and she realized when she was a woman she was just part of the crowd. The other girls didn't care about her since she wasn't their friend, and if she tried to speak to Mitsukuni or Takashi they would send her a look as if to tell her to shut up and stop talking that she couldn't see.
However, it was still a pleasant time regardless and she was back into her suit and sitting down with them within a half an hour. Apologizing again to the few girls that had been there before and resuming her position. Soon, the dance ended and they all said their goodbyes as the girls drifted back to their rooms. Sad faces and some tears were shed from the woman. Especially when they realized it would be the last dance the twins would attend. Many girls were sad that they were unable to dance with the twins themselves since they were dancing the entire night, but were satisfied when they heard that the twins had fun.
Haruhi stretched her arms above her head once the last girl left, a faint yawn emitting from her lips. "If that's all, I am going to bed now," she said, bowing slightly to the others. She hesitated and the others realized why she did. Takashi and Mitsukuni said their goodbyes and goodnights before following after her. She seemed to be more relaxed when Mitsukuni's small hand slipped into hers, and she heard the familiar sound of Takashi's wheelchair.
"Haru-chan, you should stay over in our room tonight!" Mitsukuni suggested, grinning up at her innocently. She frowned at him.
"Isn't that against the rules?" she questioned curiously as they reached the elevator to carry them up to their floor. Mitsukuni shook his head with a disagreeing noise.
"Only during days where there is school the next day!" he spoke happily, "We'll have a sleep over tonight!"
"I suppose..." she trailed off and sighed, "Why not?"
Mitsukuni cheered as the elevator carried them up. He chattered mindlessly about how much fun they were going to have as they stopped off at Haruhi's room. Mitsukuni stepped onto the back of Takashi's wheelchair, after she left her room and locked it, and hitched a ride. Haruhi followed wordlessly until they reached the cousins room. The small blond quickly tugged Haruhi in and into the bathroom. Telling her to get changed before he started to pick up his stuffed animals.
Takashi watched with curiosity as he did so. The young boy wasn't usually so helpful. When Haruhi left the bathroom, her short hair was pinned back, some of it pulled into a ponytail to keep it out of her face, a pair of sweats, and a baggy tee shirt donned her body. "Haru-chan! I'mma take a shower! Is that okay?"
"Sure?" Haruhi said with a shrug, stepping to the side to allow the small boy into the bathroom.
