DISCLAIMER: Not my characters, my story though.

After Frankie's departure, Sanji escorted Robin home, before going to look for Zoro. The sleeping bar owner could be found in the liquor closet, of course. He seemed to have gone through three bottles of whiskey before passing out this time. But, business called. It was time to alert the big boss man about the visit the detective paid to the docks that morning.

He was sniffing around, looking for answers; not that he would get them. Frankie may not like it, but his acting was keeping the detective at bay for the time being. And with the butcher keeping the bar a secret, for a small fee and protection from the coppers; they were safe here as well. Using his shoe covered foot, Sanji shook his boss. "Hey wake up, jack ass!" A grumble and sleeping shuffle was his only answer.

Sanji refused to use his hands for much else than cooking and serving drinks; not like he would ever willing touch the likes of this guy on the floor. So, he shoved the slumbering man once more with his foot. "I said. . . WAKE the HELL UP!" A groan came from Zoro as his left eye peaked open, exposing the green color to the light of the room. "What is it, ass hat?"

"If you had been where you were supposed to be, you would know that the great detective was paying Frankie a visit this morning; and even followed him to the butcher. Now get up and help me to get ready to make a meeting with the big boss man." Once Zoro had been filled in on the details of the visit, plans were made to contact the don.

The next morning, Zoro told Sanji in length which flowers to get from the nearby nursery; blue irises and dill flowers. The person whom would see them, would know immediately what they meant. Zoro then explained that the place at which Sanji was to place the flowers, was a bench across the way from a certain shop. And this is where Sanji was now. He was sitting on the bench in question, holding the bouquet in his hands. A moment passed before he placed them down on the bench nonchalantly. It wasn't as if anyone was following him. As far as they all knew; Sanji hadn't been affiliated with the mob, or rather, the detective hadn't made the connection.

The curly browed man stood from the bench and looked toward the shops across from where he stood, and decided that he had figured out whom it was who would find the signal. The shops were simple ones, a market, an ice cream parlor, and a blacksmith. Not hard to figure it out, he surmised. While he was out, he had decided that perhaps a special lunch was at hand. After leaving the message for the man, he began his journey to the woman's boarding house where the dancers resided.

One in particular having sparked his interest. Bon-Bon; or Bonney. True, he showed adoration for all three of the gorgeous ladies; but Bonny seemed like the best match for him, a man who liked to serve. She was a woman who liked to be served. A smile came to his face as he pulled out a cigarette. He would smoke it before he reached the front door. No need to be rude.

When he eventually rounded the corner of the picket fence that wrapped around the boarding house, 15 minutes later, he flicked the cigarette butt into the gutter and entered. Walking up the steps, he finally reached the door and began with a rap of his knuckles against the wood. Nothing. No one answered. And so he wrapped his knuckles against it again. "Hello?" The blonde called out to the residents.

Finally, after a bit of booms and clanks, someone came to the door. When they opened it, Sanji was rewarded with the face of the female he had come to see. Although it was covered in flower, and what seemed to be icing sugar. "Making cookies, Bonney?" His comment had produced a tint of pink on her cheeks, and the urge to close the door in his face. But, she didn't. Instead, she opened it wider to let him inside. "Care to help me perfect the recipe? I just can't seem to get them to the right. . Consistency."

The man merely nodded his head and let his arm swing out for her to lead the way. "By all means, I would enjoy helping you in this endeavor."

A/N: What's this? Sanji and Bonney!? Interesting no?
