The end my friend

They stood dressed in black. Masking their sorrowsorrow.

For their friend who they loved had stolen tommorrows

No more life, no more chance, no more time for one lasr dance

The richest of all, with a pretty face, helpless in emotion, fallen from grace

Material wealth, bad mental health, a scar left inside that was too big to hide

She took her life last week, too far gone and too meek

For when he came home she was dead, he grabbed her body and kissed her head

Pills were abundant, they soaked up her brain, the only way out of this hideous pain

So she died in the bathtub, knocked out by the prescriptions

A painless death from drowning, a tomb with an inscription

Hear lays Muffy Crosswire, sweet Mary Alice

Gone home to god, in a sweet crystal palace xxx

Buster held his umbrella as the rain dropped heavily over black satin material suits that soaked the grass he stood upon.

"I miss you Muffy" he held in tears. His throat was dry and his face a whiter shade of pale.

Milicent was besides herself. Clinging on to Edward, she had felt that life had killed her daughter and those dreams her Mary Alice held.

"If only our Bailey hadnt died" "he left us..." She weeped profusely. Clinging to her distraught Husband.

He was stoic in appearance and dead inside. His eyes were dry, red as the blood that was cut from Rattles body and insides.

No amount of revenge could keep his little girl alive. So it came to pass that both his daughter and the creature he had killed in rage were six feet under...the irony was as sharp as a knife.

Francine wept into Arthurs arms and he held her by the waist. He had a shock upon his face that noone expected.

"Bailey's passing, sent her over the edge" Francine cried.

Arthur agreed and kissed her sweetly, stroking her tear stained face.

It was a lethal cocktail of Amitriptyline, Ativan and Oxycodone, when combined the antidepressant, seadative and pain releif combination mixed with alcholol in her system. The coroner deemed it suicide. Muffys body had gone into cardiac arrest while in the bathtub, judging by the amount of water found in her lungs. Her blue lips indicated her body temperature had dropped while she lay underneath the water. The family were able to take some comfort in knowing their daughter would have slipped into a coma before drowning, her heart gave out around the time she slipped into the water.

Buster felt an amount of jealously rise up in his heart when he noticed his closest friends together, comforting each other with sweet kissess and gentle hugs.

He tossed a bouquet of roses over her shiny black coffin...

The coffin became a tombstone, that lay next to baileys white ceramic cross. Muffys tombstone was more exquisite than his. A large creme coloured angel with wings stood over her tomb engraved in italic lettering.

As time went by, the leaves grew dry as time went by. Summer came and passed and the seasons became years

There was nothing he could have done. He did have a choice and he chose to move onward.

Three years later Buster started dating the woman who would soon become his wife...

Ladonna Married Buster Baxter on his 30th birthday and they had a little girl not long after. Buster became the father he had always longed to be. They called their small bunny Mary Alice Donna Baxter..

Ladonna gave birth to another child soon after who the called Buddy Baxter, he was just like his dad in everyway.

Muffys memory was never forgotten..

Chip married Catherine Frensky after being thrown together again during their sisters horrible experiences. After a lavish ceremony which Edward and Milicent found comfort in, they had three children, one of whom was a little red headed girl, with an uncany resemblance to her Aunt had she been alive to see her.

Mary (Muffy) Catherine Frensky Crosswire was a unique little girl.. The youngest child with two older brothers who had the dark haired Frensky hair and personalities protected their baby sister. She had sharp wit like her Mother and head for fashion like Muffy...

Slink became a dealer and became caught up in the world of wheeling and dealing, to the point where he ended up in a body bag under Crown city bridge while Alberto became a world champion soccer player who remained a bachelor..

As for Arthur and Francine.

The night after Muffys funeral, Arthur asked her if she would ever conceive the idea of taking her own life.

The pretty monkey shook her head, while tears streamed down her face .

"I rose above the hand I was dealt" she replied.

They embraced each other and he led her into little Zaliyah's room. The little girl slept soundly, clutching her purple teddy bear.

"Shes our girl" Francine said with a warm smile.

Arthur wrapped his arms around her.

"Youre my girl" he whispered.

They went to bed together...and fell asleep naked in each others arms

They never had anymore children. Zaliyah was there only one xxxx

The end

The ode to Muffy was played every year in commemoration of her death.

It is the evening of the day
I sit and watch the children play
Smiling faces I can see
But not for me
I sit and watch
As tears go by

My riches can't buy everything
I want to hear the children sing
All I hear is the sound
Of rain falling on the ground
I sit and watch
As tears go by

It is the evening of the day
I sit and watch the children play
Doing things I used to do
They think are new
I sit and watch
As tears go by
