Sorry for the long wait. My computer crashed on me. Thank you all for staying with me and to any who didn't give up hope.
Maddilyn woke to the sun in her face. God, what time is it? Maddilyn looked at her clock. It was one in the afternoon. Why hadn't her father woken her up? He always got her up before nine.
Groggily, she got out of bed and headed downstairs. On the fridge was a note from her father: "Maddy, I didn't wake yu up because ou were dreaming og your mother again. Do behave, okay? I'll be home in time for dinner. Love you."
Maddilyn got dressed and went back to her room. She grabbed her shoes and put them on. Looking around she found Shadow.
"Hey." Maddilyn sat down on the ground. "How are you?"
"Good, I guess." Shadow was watching over Luna. "What's on your mind?"
"I had another dream of my mom." Maddilyn looked up at the picture of her mother. "She told me to go to a place called Death City."
"You shouldn't go there."
"Why not?"
"That's where those two people from last night, live."
"So?" Maddilyn was determined. "Whenever my mom tells me to go somewhere in my dreams, she means there's something waiting for me. You better take me to Death City."
"Fine but we have to move at night. Tell your dad you're going to a camp. Okay?"
"'Kay." She stood up. "I'd better start packing."
"You do that."
Maddilyn grabbed two of her suit cases and started packing her clothes. Shadow came up behind her and saw what she was packing. "No, no. Those won't do."
"What do you mean?" Maddilyn stopped packing. "Why can't I bring these?"
"witches wear clothes that represents what type of magic they practice. Even white witches." Shadow sighed. "Go to a store called Wrigly's and say hat your a friend of mine. He'll put all the clothes on my tab."
"Wriggly's? You mean that magic shop downtown?"
"Yes."
"Okay." Maddilyn headed out.
