DAY

Something is going on with June, I can't tell what is it, but she looks confused and then like if she was about to faint.

I run and I catch her before she falls.

She holds herself in my t-shirt. When I look at her, I'm worried. A new feeling is showing through her eyes.

"I've got you," I murmur and she nods. "Again, sweetheart." I try to make her smile, but I don't get it. I frown.

"June, are you fine?" Metias sits worried on the bed. I shake my head.

"Don't, Metias. She's fine," I tell him and he frowns. Well. There it goes a good relationship with June's brother. "She hasn't eaten. That's everything. Don't worry. Now she has seen you, I'm sure she's going to eat." I smile and June looks at her brother.

"Yes, I'm sorry."

"We should leave now," I say as I let her go slowly. "We'll come back later to see you, Metias."

"Mr. Iparis, Daniel," corrects Metias looking at how I take June's hand and she doesn't push it away. "I'd feel better if Bryant went with you," he says and Thomas moves immediately.

"No, no," June gives him a glance. "I'll be fine with Daniel."

"Wait, Daniel Wing?" The woman asks and I nod. "I can't believe you're together. The two perfect scores. Amazing." She smiles. "I'm waiting for you both to finish the university to have you in my lines. Imagine what we can do together," she says and I nod.

"Thank you, lady," I say solemnly. "I'd like to talk, but June has to eat something."

"I'm Commander Jameson, Daniel. A pleasure to meet you."

"I say the same." I nod at her.

When I leave the room with June. We walk in silence towards the stairs.

When we're finally out of the hospital, I stop her by the arm. "What is it?" I ask and she looks angry.

"She killed my parents."

JUNE

Daniel's mother is serving us warm food as I finish to explain him in whispers why I believe that Commander Jameson is the murderer of my parents.

"It might be a coincidence," he tells me.

"How many possibilities you have to find that description?" I ask. "Did you get the perfect score, right? Don't lie to yourself."

"Sweetheart," he start and I sigh. "I know what you mean. I just want to be sure." I look at my plate.

"I'm sure it's them."

"Let's confirm it then. We have to make things right," he tells me and I smile. "Hey, it's fine."

"I'm just worried about Metias. He works for her."

"He'll be fine. He's smart as you."

"Thank you for staying with me," I tell him. "You didn't have to but you…"

"It's nothing," he interrupts. "You're important to me," he murmurs.

I want to say something, but I can't find words. He leans to me, he closes his eyes and then he kisses me.

My heart does this stupid thing, like if it wanted to get out of my chest. Every inch of my skin responds to his soft touch in my cheek. I don't know how but, he is sweet and passionate at the same time.

"Gross," a voice says and we separate immediately. John is eating an apple. "I was eating."

"Damn, John," Daniel says getting up. "I'm going to kill you. I swear this time I will."

"Daniel, don't," I tell him ashamed by the fact that his brother saw us kissing.

"Yeah, listen to your girlfriend."

Their mother enters in the kitchen. "What's going on here?" she asks.

"Daniel was kissing June," John says and now I want to kill him. I feel how my cheeks are burning.

"That's not true!" Daniel says and his mother laughs.

"Like I always say, they're like a tornado," she says to me and I smile. My cheeks must be red. "John, it's okay that your brother kisses girls. Stop bothering him."

DAY

We're going back at the hospital. She took a shower and feed her dog. He was a really nice dude.

And we've been talking for a long time. Until now, that we're entering in the hospital.

"Is there something wrong, June?" I ask in a whisper. She looks at me and shakes her head, her long ponytail moves with her. "You can trust me."

"I know I can trust you," she starts. "It's all fine."

I take her hand anyway, she looks at it and holds it back.

"So, I'm sorry about John." She smiles. "He's an idiot sometimes."

"He's just a brother, don't worry." She stops in front of Metias' door and let's my hand go. "If you want to go home, it's fine. I'll probably stay here all night."

I look at her, doubting if I should listen. But I decide to go.

"Then, it's fine." I nod. "I'm going to write in class so I can hand you notes and all that stuff," I tell her while I shrug.

"Thank you, Daniel," she says and I smile. I lean my face closer to her. "Day," she murmurs. A spark of something in her eyes. I smile.

"We'll make it, sweetheart." I wink at her. "Go and see your brother." I move my head towards the door. "Goodnight." I kiss her fast then I feel a cough as I start to walk away.

Thomas saw us.

June looks ashamed. But when I look at her over my shoulder, she smiles at me and my heart wants to jump off my chest.

JUNE

After he left me I entered at my brother's room. He was talking w ith somebody through his auricular.

"I'll be there on Tuesday. Give me a few days…" Silence. "I'll be fine by Tuesday." I frown. He won't. The doctor told him one month. He looks frustrated. "Okay. I get it." He sighs. "Let Bryant on charge. He'll do it fine."

After this, he finishes the call and looks at me.

"What is going to happen on Tuesday?" I ask.

"Medicine is being sent to the capitol. I wanted to be there," he responds. "Were you there much time?" he asks and I shake my head. "Did you eat something? I was really worried this morning…" He starts to say, but I can only think of it. It's going to happen on Tuesday. And I'll stop it. My parents wanted to save this people and I will fulfill their purpose.
