When I came back to the dead android, I found her with her knees to her chest and her forehead to her kneecaps.

"Hey, what happened?!" I asked, rushing to her side. I place a gentle hand on her back, but it passed right through her, it always does.

"I remembered." She sniffed as she looked up and smiled sadly, "I remember who Anna and Allen are." I stared at her blankly; I didn't actually think she would ever remember, the memory was removed from her hard drive and basically killed.

"How much do you know?"

"Only that Len is Allen and I'm Anna. Oh, and we had a very pretty garden full of yellow flowers." The girl shook her head. She looked miserable, I couldn't watch this anymore.

"Fine," I said, standing up and moving to sit in front of the girl. "I will tell you the rest of your story."

"Wait, can you tell me who you are?" She asked, stretching her hand out to grab mine. I flinched as her hand passed through my hand and knee.

"No, I can only tell you that when you accept that you are ready to move on." I sighed, if only she knew.

"Right, well story time! Anna and Allen were born in Hamburg, Germany. Anna was the oldest and Allen came soon after. These two twins were always by each other's side, you couldn't have one without the other.

"On their fifth birthday, something went wrong: Allen collapsed suddenly. Their parents rushed him to their local hospital when they got the news that Allen was dying slowly and they couldn't do anything for him, they decided not to tell Anna. They thought it would hurt her if she learned about Allen's terrible disease.

"Now, when they were eleven, Anna started to notice how Allen never wanted to play with the boys of their neighborhood, and she eventually asked him about it. He waved it off as nothing, but the truth was that he was close to the end of his road and soon, he would die. Allen soon couldn't leave his house without going into a coughing fit. Desperate for help, his parents took him to the best hospital in Berlin, leaving Anna in the care of a family friend, an orphanage runner in the middle of the city.

"The doctors told their parents that Allen had ten days tops to live and they should get Anna to say goodbye. They never made it back to Hamburg. The plane crashed, killed the pilots and some passengers, including their parents. The family friend didn't have the heart to tell the girl. But, luckily a new doctor from Japan came to see the boy. He offered the boy a chance to live as a robot with a human mind, the boy agreed.

"Three years later, the robot was finished and Japanese doctor contacted the girl and told her she could see her brother again. He flew her out to Japan, but the girl soon fell ill with the same illness that took her brother. So, the doctor took the life saving program and gave it to the girl. Then made another one for the boy. But, there was a bug in the first that the doctor didn't catch, causing all her memories to be wiped.

"And there you have it, the story of Rin and Len." I sighed with a heavy heart. I haven't thought about the lives I should've taken since that day, but I knew their story like the back of my hand.

"I'm ready. I accept that I'm dead and I'm ready to move on." I looked over at the girl with shock all over my face, even though I can jump forward and backwards in time, I would never have seen this outcome. Rin was a fighter, she would never give up to me, of all things to give up to, it shouldn't be me!

"No, Rin, I think yo-"

"That's not my name!" She screamed, tears falling like a waterfall down her cheeks. I jumped backwards onto my feet. I was shocked at her violent reaction.

"My name isn't Rin, that's a fake name. My name is Anna. Now, please, let me go." She looked up at me with big, pleading eyes.

I didn't have a choice, I had to, "Alright, I'll escort you the rest of the way," I sighed heavily, "Shall we?" I held out my arm for her to take.

She smiled sadly and took my arm, "Hey, what's your name, anyway?"

"Me? I'm known as the horrible Truth: Death."

Len was never able to fix the KOKORO, and ended up ripping his own out of his system and being escorted by Death to his awaiting family: Anna, his mom, and his dad. The broken family had been reunited once more.

Bones and the rest of the crew never did figure out who killed Master. Though, two of their best interns, Kira and Reine, had left soon after Len had died. They weren't the only ones to disappear, the bodies of Rin and Len had also mysteriously disappeared.

No one ever knew what happened to the rest of our story, but I do; I am Death, I am the seer and ruler of lives. And I know that our story doesn't have an ending, so let's count this as the end. The end of our story and the end of our time together. I hope you enjoyed our short time together and I wish you happiness until we meet once more, for one last adventure.
