Silver: *is sitting in the studio alone and in the dark, multiple cans of Sprite on the ground. Is obviously still upset about what happened during SEGA chapter 8.* Grrr… Stupid Sempai… Stupid Pika… Stupid everything! I was better off when I was writing solo fanfics… *opens another can of Sprite before drinking it*

TB: *walks in and turns on some lights* *in Tommy Wiseau voice* Oh hai Silver. *back to normal voice* KKD told me what happened, so I thought I would come and help you feel better.

Silver: Go away, TB. I don't want to talk to any of you right now. I'm sick of all this crap I've had to deal with since I've joined this stupid team. First it was Overnerd, then Pika, and now Sempai who's giving me trouble! I'm tired of it!

TB: I understand what your saying, but you have to understand that this team cannot function without you, man.

Silver: O really? You guys seemed just fine when Pika made that upset of a chapter. Seriously, that plot could have gone a lot better… *burps, appearing to be drunk off the Sprite*

TB: You're drinking Sprite, how are you getting drunk? *raises eyebrow*

Silver: Because I can! Whatever, they don't need me anyways. They have you now, and it seems like things would be a lot better without me anyways…

TB: Well… this sounds familiar…

Silver: Wh-*hic* What do you mean?

TB: It sounds like today's chapter of Guardians, where Spike is going through the same situation your currently in right now. I think your jealous, dude.

Silver: For one, it's "you're", not your, you grammar-moron. *hic* And two, why would you think I'm jealous?

TB: Because what happened during the previous chapter of SEGA sounds an awful lot like what happened in the episode this was based on, after Twilight gets mad at Spike for what he did… and I am NOT a moron! I AM A MAN! *punches Silver in the stomach*

Silver: OOF! God! *holds stomach* Why did you do that?!

TB: 1. Because when making a reference to Linkara's "I AM A MAN!" running gag, you have to add the punch to the stomach. 2. That was also my way of telling you to stop acting like a jealous fool and get your act together! The Silver I know doesn't sit around sulking about something that isn't true while getting drunk off frickin' soda!

Silver: … *sighs*

TB: So, you wanna do this, or should I wait until you're sober?

Silver: No, I'll be fine. Let's just get this over with… *uses his Avatar's telekinetic abilities to throw all the Sprite cans in the recycle bin*

TB: Whoa! Didn't know you could do that…

Silver: My Avatar in the studios is based off Silver the Hedgehog, dude. I can do things like that. Anyways, let's just roll the disclaimers...

TB: Wait up... *walks over to recycle bin, picks up a can and the disclaimer screen falls out of it* Huh, fancy that. *puts disclaimers on screen like putting a pie on someone's face*

DISCLAIMERS: No one from Team Toku Sonic West owns anything in this fanfiction except for the original concepts within. The rest is owned by Hasbro, the Hub, Lauren Faust, and their respective owners.

TB: *in Ace Ventura voice* Al~righty then! Let's roll!

Silver: -_- Please stop doing that…

"Alright. Spike, do we have everything packed up for the school camping trip?" Mitsuko asked, as she, Momo, Kisho, and Spike were packing up their bags to go camping out in the woods nearby.

"Yep. All set and ready to go, Mitsuko. Sleeping bags, toothbrushes, my special homemade sandwiches…" Spike stated, as he stood on his two hind legs as the little dragon used his clawed hands to mark off one of the many checklists that Mitsuko had made.

"And we have my Opal-wopal with me as well!" Kisho cooed, hugging a white fluffy cat that was in her arms. However, the cat, Opal, did not seem amused by this in the slightest.

"I didn't know you had a cat, Kisho," Mitsuko noted, a bit surprised to see the violet-haired socialite holding the cat in her hands.

"I've had my little Opalescence for quite some time now," Kisho responded, "She's been staying at my parents' house recently. Belle's been taking care of her for me."

"So, why's she here right now?" Spike asked.

"The new pet policy. They've allowed pets in the building as long as they're small and not that destructive!" Momo replied, before grabbing her sleeping bag that had her pet alligator, Gummi, was chewing on.

"Gee, I wonder why they allowed THAT policy…" Mitsuko muttered, looking at Gummi like he was the cause of all of it.

Just then, the three heard a knock at the door, as Hinata, AJ, and Sora walked into the room as they opened the door, each with their own camp supplies. As well, AJ had Winona with her on a leash, Angel was sitting on top of Hinata's camping supplies in his bunny cage, and Sora held a large green turtle shell in her hands.

"Huh? What's that thing, Sora?" Mitsuko asked, as she examined the shell, before out popped the head of a green tortoise from the shell, which seemed to smile at her, "Whoa! Hello, little guy."

"This is my pet tortoise, Tank. He's really friendly," Sora explained.

"Wait… why a tortoise? I'd think you'd have something fast as a pet, like a road runner. Or a coyote!" Momo asked.

"Someone's been watching way too many cartoons," Sora responded while rolling her eyes, "But yeah, this little guy just wouldn't stop following me around. It's like he wanted me to take care of it, so I decided to adopt it as my own pet."

"He's definitely a cutie, darling," Kisho admitted, petting the tortoise Tank on the head.

"He sure is. Just be glad he isn't a snapping turtle." Sora joked.

"I never really had a pet," Mitsuko admitted, "Mom and Dad didn't think I was responsible enough back then to have one…"

"Who needs a pet when you have me, Mitsuko? I am always here to help you out whenever possible!" Spike stated, smiling.

"Yes, and I am so glad that you are here to help me, my number one assistant," Mitsuko replied, which made Spike smile even more.

"Well, shall we get to the campsite where the others are?" AJ asked.

"Right. Let's go, girls!" Momo replied, as the six girls, Spike, and their pets left for the campsite.

Scroll 9: Owl in the Family

As the girls made it to their campsite, they began to unpack, as Sora and AJ set up the tents, while Kisho, Hinata, and Momo prepared the snacks. Mitsuko kept a track of what needed to be done on one of her checklists, and Spike was trying to light the campfire.

"C'mon, Spike… you're a dragon, so act like it!" Spike said to himself, as he breathed in before exhaling, except not even a spark of fire came out… but a sound did come from somewhere else.

"Ew! Spike, did you fart?" Momo laughed, giggling as the purple dragon started to turn a slight shade of red.

"Um... excuse me?" Spike said, embarrassed by his flatulence.

"Looks like it came out of the basement instead of the attic!" Momo exclaimed while bursting out with laughter.

"Don't tease him, Momo! Spike is still learning," Mitsuko scolded, before turning to AJ, "AJ, you think you can help out Spike?"

"Uh, hello? What about the other students here? What if they see us using our Guardian powers?" Sora noted.

"Sora, the campsites here are too separate for anyone to see us. Besides, if they weren't, then Spike wouldn't be out in the open like this," Mitsuko replied.

"No, I've got this, okay?" Spike interrupted, before trying once again, to no avail.

"Are ya sure you don't need my help, Spike?" AJ asked. "I can easily light the campfire by just pointin', ya know?"

"I am definitely sure! I want to prove to myself that I can do this!" Spike argued, before inhaling sharply again, and exhaling, only to have the same result as the last two times. He was getting really exhausted from trying before he fell down.

"Oh, the poor thing worked himself to exhaustion," Kisho sighed, picking up the little dragon and putting him on top of her sleeping bag.

"Spike works so hard to keep the dorm in order and helps me whenever I need it," Mitsuko noted, "Though, he's still just a kid. He shouldn't work as hard."

"Man, who knew Spike could cook!" Momo stated, taking a bite out of one of Spike's homemade sandwiches, "Girls, you should have one of these. They're delicious!"

"Well, guess Ah'll light the fire pit since Spike is too exhausted to," AJ noted, before pointing her fingers in a gun formation at the fire pit, before fire flew from her fingertips and lit the coals in it. She then blew the smoke off her fingers afterwards.

"Wow. You're getting pretty good at using your Guardian powers, AJ," Kisho noted.

"Well, Ah've been trainin' around the farm when Mac, Sakura, and Granny ain't around," AJ replied, smiling.

"Nice! Speaking of which, we've been getting a little better with our powers, haven't we?" Sora inquired.

"Well, we have been at this for about a month together as a team, darling. I would think we'd have improved by now," Kisho replied, before using her powers to summon up a chair made of crystals from the ground, "Oh, doesn't this chair just look marvelous?"

The girls just rolled their eyes while laughing as they continued to have fun while camping. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, an owl was watching from one of the trees, tilting its head slightly.

Later, after it had gotten dark out, the girls had finally gone to bed except for Mitsuko, who was sitting down and looking at the stars, writing down in one of her notebooks. However, she suddenly realized that her pen had run out of ink.

"Huh? Oh, drat. Guess I'll have to use that old quill set I brought with me…" Mitsuko noted, before pulling out her ink set. However, as she opened the set, she only found a sealed bottle of ink and no quills at all, "Oh come on! Where am I supposed to get a quill now?"

"Hoo," she suddenly heard a noise.

"Huh? What was that?" she wondered aloud, before looking over to see an owl with brown feathers sitting on the crystal chair that Kisho had summoned from the ground.

"Hoo," the owl hooted, it ruffling its feathers a bit.

"Well, hello there, little guy. What are you doing here?" Mitsuko asked.

"Hoo," the owl hooted again, as it flew over to Mitsuko. It then plucked one of its feathers and gave it to her.

"Oh. Thank you. You know, you're really smart for an owl," Mitsuko noted, petting the owl's head, "Hmmm… y'know, I could use help around the dorm during the night… Spike wouldn't have to work as much then… What do you think?"

"Hoo," the owl hooted a third time while nodding.

"Then it's settled. Welcome to the family… um… I should probably give you a name… hmmm… how about Owlowiscious?"

The owl, now dubbed Owlowiscious, hooted excitedly in response as he flew around Mitsuko, before he landed on her shoulder.

"Glad you like your new name. Well, we might as well get started. I've got some notes to take," Mitsuko stated, smiling, as she continued to write in her notebook.

The next morning, the girls began to pack up to head back to Tomodachi Academy while Spike continued to sleep. However, he slowly opened his eyes to see two eyes staring straight at him.

"WAGH!" Spike gasped, jumping backwards to see Owlowiscious staring at him, "What the-? Who the heck are you?!"

"Hoo."

"You, that's who! Why were you staring at me?!"

"Hoo."

"Me! Spike! What's your deal, anyways?" Spike growled, standing his ground against the owl.

"Spike, calm down," he heard Mitsuko tell him as she walked in, "This is Owlowiscious. He's my newest assistant."

"Wh-What?! But… I thought I was your assistant…" Spike stuttered.

"You are, but there are some tasks that probably seem too much for a little dragon like you."

"What?! No way! I can handle any task that comes my way, and I don't need any help from some bird-brain like him!" Spike argued, pointing at Owlowiscious.

"Hoo!" Owlowiscious hooted angrily, insulted by Spike's comment.

"You, that's who! Why don't you just go and take a hike?" Spike shouted.

"Spike! Easy with Owlowiscious! He's just an owl, so that's all he can say," Mitsuko scolded Spike, "Now, let's get you in the backpack so that we can head back to the dorms."

"Why doesn't he need to go in a backpack?" Spike argued.

"Hoo."

"He doesn't need to because, unlike dragons, owls won't draw as much attention," Mitsuko replied, before holding out her backpack, "Now, let's go, Spike."

Spike sighed, before walking into Mitsuko's backpack while glaring at Owlowiscious. "The only advantage you have right now is that you can fly…"

"Hoo," Owlowiscious hooted smugly, as he flew beside Mitsuko as she and the others left the woods.

As the girls walked back, joined by the other students who went on the camping trip, Spike couldn't sit still, thinking about the owl that was meant to "replace" him, as he thought.

"Spike, could you not move around as much? You're making it hard to move," Mitsuko whispered.

"Sorry Mitsuko, but I can't stop thinking about that darn owl!" Spike whispered back.

"Hey, who ya talking to?" Mitsuko suddenly heard someone ask, as she turned to see a teenage girl with minty green hair wearing a similarly colored shirt and blue jeans.

"Oh... uh..." Mitsuko said nervously, trying not to give it away that there's a dragon in her backpack, "Nobody. I was just thinking out loud."

"Really? Because I coulda sworn you were talking to someone," the girl wondered, "Maybe it's just my imagination. Anyways, I wanted to actually talk to you, Mitsuko Pikari."

"Um… how do you know my name?" Mitsuko asked.

The girl then smiled, before pulling out a small notepad and a pen. "It's a journalist's work to know things like that. Kotone Suzuki of the Tomodachi Touch newspaper. I'd like to ask a few questions about the mysterious occurrences that have been going on around the school."

"Um… mysterious occurrences?" Mitsuko asked, a bit nervous.

"Yea, these occurrences always involve some types of monsters coming in and terrorizing the school. Then, a group of heroes always come in to save the day. It sounds like something out of a Tokusatsu show. You know anything about these heroes?" Kotone asked.

"Um… nope, nothing of the sort," Mitsuko lied, sweating a bit as she talked to the girl.

"I heard that some of these creatures have been coming out of the Shroudwood Forest. Sounds pretty creepy, eh? I've been pretty fascinated in the lore of mythical creatures, so it's pretty cool to actually get to do this kind of article for the newspaper!" Kotone noted.

'Yeah, let's see how excited you get fighting all those creatures that want to kill you.' Mitsuko thought, sighing as she gave Kotone a blunt stare.

"Kotone!" the two then heard a voice shout, as they both turned to see a girl with long and curly pink and purple hair who looked a bit like Kotone and wore a white shirt and black pants.

"Oh, Bonnie-nee-chan," Kotone stated, looking over toward the pink and purple haired girl, Bonnie.

"So sorry about my sister, Mitsuko. She's been going into overdrive over this story because of all the weird creatures popping up," Bonnie apologized, "At least she's not obsessing over unicorns and other mythical creatures like usual…"

"Hey, I WILL meet a Unicorn someday, nee-chan. Just you wait!" Kotone stated, "Besides, you didn't believe in any of these creatures until they actually showed up."

"Kinda hard to seeing as they are. They're probably just some sort of mutated animals or something. I bet that one kid, Dexter Yamaguchi, made them in his lab of a dorm…" Bonnie replied.

"Oi, I resent that!" the three suddenly heard a voice speak up, before a young man with windswept brown hair and wearing glasses with black trimming. He was also wearing a white button down long sleeve shirt with a red bow tie, brown pants, and blue Converse sneakers.

"Hey, it is true. You spend more time in that lab than outside," Bonnie noted.

"Well, even if I am isolated, I still have friends," the boy, Dexter, argued, as he walked up to Bonnie along with another girl with yellow-green eyes that were cross-eyed for some reason and had short blonde hair. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt that had really long sleeves and black shorts with white shoes.

"Yeah, well even if you do have friends, doesn't change the fact that something strange is going on around Tomodachi," Kotone noted.

"Well, it's not MY fault!" Dexter replied, before turning to the blond haired girl, "Right, Maya?"

"Um… yeah," the girl, Maya, replied, blushing a bit.

The four continued to discuss while Mitsuko slipped away from them and joined up with Momo and Kisho. "Man, this whole 'Nightmare Forces' business is starting to draw attention, isn't it?" Mitsuko asked.

"You do have a point, darling. I say we just keep at covering it up. I don't know how the school would react if they found out that the heroes protecting them from those abominations are just a bunch of teenage girls." Kisho suggested.

"Hey, stranger things have happened! Guess Helena-hime wanted to summon a group of teenagers with…" Momo began, before being stopped by Kisho.

"Don't…"

"What, I was gonna say martial arts training, skills and a lot of spirit! What did you think I was gonna say?" Momo giggled.

Kisho just sighed and rolled her eyes as the group continued walking back to Tomodachi Academy.

Back at the dorm, Spike got out of the backpack and saw Owlowiscious on Mitsuko's desk. He frowned a bit before unloading the luggage from the bags.

"Why would I need any help from a pillow!?" Spike questioned angrily, "He's just trying to take my position as Mitsuko's assistant! Well, I'm not gonna let that happen!"

"Hoo," Owlowiscious hooted, standing next to Spike all of a sudden and staring at him.

"Alright, listen here, buster! I'm the number one assistant around here, and I won't let some bird steal my job, you hear me?!"

"Hoo."

"Me! You understand that, bird-brain?!" Spike growled, before storming off.

"Hey, Spike, do you think you could grab me notebook #343, please?" Mitsuko asked as Spike walked by.

"Oh… of course!" Spike answered, before running up to Mitsuko's bookshelf before looking through the notebooks on the shelf before finding the one he was looking for, "Ha, let's see that stupid owl do tha… ah… Ah… AH… AH-CHOO!" suddenly, Spike blasted out an emerald green fire as he sneezed, which burned the pages in the notebook, "Um… oops."

"Spike, have you found the notebook yet?" Mitsuko asked. Spike panicked, placing the notebook in the back of the bookshelf in order to hide it.

"Nope. Sorry. You must have lost it…" Spike replied.

"That's strange… well, it's a good thing I have back-up notes in notebook #553. I'll have Owlowiscious grab it for me to save you the trouble," Mitsuko responded, as Owlowiscious flew up to the top of the bookshelf, grabbing a notebook in his talons, and flying it over to Mitsuko.

Spike facepalmed in response, frustrated that he failed to upstage the owl. Seriously, what am I gonna do to get rid of that flying couch cushion!? Spike thought.

He then looked over to see Opal sitting in her cat bed with a stuffed mouse. "Hey… there's an idea…" Spike stated, cracking a malicious smile.

Later, outside Tomodachi Academy, Spike was sneaking around wearing what looked like a black gangster suit along with a fedora hat with the same color. He then looked around a dumpster behind the school until he finally found what he was looking for, a dead mouse that had been left there for some time now that was only a bit rotten.

"Hehehe… once Mitsuko sees that mouse in the dorm, she'll think Owlowiscious did it. Then he'll be kicked out for good!" Spike chuckled to himself, before grabbing the dead mouse and running upstairs before plopping it on the ground, "Hmmm… needs to look a bit more convincing…"

Spike then looked around before sneakily checking the cafeteria when no one was around. He then grabbed a couple of ketchup packets and went back into the dorm, before squirting out the ketchup all over the mouse, not noticing he got a bit of it on his feet.

"Now Owlowiscious will be gone for sure!" Spike laughed, before he turned and bumped into something, which he suddenly realized was Mitsuko, who looked very angry at him. In her hands was the same notebook that Spike had accidently scorched.

"Spike, what is the meaning of all this?!" Mitsuko demanded, referring to both her burnt up notebook and the fact that she saw him messing with a dead mouse.

"Um… Mitsuko, I can explain…"

"Not only did you lie about burning one of my notebooks, which Owlowiscious found in the back of the bookshelf, but you tried to frame him so that you could get rid of him!" Mitsuko shouted, "You've let your jealousy get the best of you, Spike, and I'm very disappointed in you!"

"B-But…"

"No buts! Now, you better clean up this mess and think about what you did! This is not the right way to act, Spike," with that, Mitsuko opened the door to the dorm before walking out, "Let's go, Owlowiscious. Spike has a lot to think about…"

Spike looked in Mitsuko's direction as she slammed the door, feeling very sad that Mitsuko had yelled at him. "I just made her mad at me… I don't even think she loves me anymore…" Spike murmured, crying slightly. He then walked over to the door before pushing it open and walking outside.

"I can't believe him! First he lies about my notebook, then he tries to frame Owlowiscious! What's his deal?!" Mitsuko muttered, as she and the other Guardians sat around a table outside the dorms, talking about what happened. Owlowiscious was perched on Mitsuko's shoulder, a bit concerned.

"Not cool!" Sora responded.

"I can't believe he would do that with a dead mouse!" Kisho added.

"That's terrible!" Hinata said.

"May that mouse rest in peace," Momo added, which caused all the girls to look at her with deadpan expressions, "...I mean BOO~! That's not good!"

"Um… don't ya'll think that there was a reason he was doin' that? I mean, he might've felt threatened by Owlowiscious being around. He might've thought that Owlowiscious was stealin' his job…" AJ noted.

"Owlowiscious wasn't trying to steal his job. I wanted him around to help Spike with his work, not be his replacement. If he had a problem with Owlowiscious, he should have said something," Mitsuko responded.

"Well, Ah can speak from experience here. I've been with Winona ever since she was a little pup, and whenever she saw me pettin' another dog, she'd get all defensive n' stuff…"

"So that's how Spike felt... and I didn't even see it." Mitsuko realized as she rubbed her head, feeling guilty that she didn't just explain it to Spike from the start, "I should go apologize…"

However, just as she said that, the girls saw their Elements of Harmony flash, alerting to danger.

"C'mon, girls. Spike will have to wait," Mitsuko noted, before the six ran toward the forest. However, when Owlowiscious tried to follow, Mitsuko stopped.

"No, Owlowiscious. It's too dangerous for you to go with us. Head back to the dorm room. Maybe you can help Spike clean up his mess," Mitsuko ordered, placing the owl down on the table before he let out a concerned hoot, "We'll be fine, okay?"

With that, the six ran off toward the Shroudwood Forest.

After a bit of searching through the forest, the girls sat down to rest a bit. They could not find any sign of any Nightmare Forces or Discord Shard-controlled creatures.

"Mou… what are we even looking for?!" Sora groaned.

"We'll know it when we find it. C'mon," Mitsuko replied, walking forward a bit before hearing a low growl, "Um… did you girls hear that?"

"What was that?" Hinata asked nervously as she hid behind Sora.

"I think it came from over there." Kisho noted as she pointed in the direction they were headed. Just then, the six saw a shadowy eye open up, as some sort of beast lifted its head up and roared. It was a huge black dragon, only it seemed to be made of shadows similar to the Nightwolves, with obsidian-like scales, and massive wings.

"I'm scared…" Hinata whimpered.

"C'mon, girls, we have to defeat this Nightmare Beast no matter what!" Mitsuko shouted, before they all prepared their transformations.

"Tomodachi Transform!"

With that, the girls used their elemental abilities to attack the Night Dragon, but they couldn't seem to make a dent in its scaly armor.

"Eat this!" Kisho shouted, flinging stones at the Night Dragon which seemed to bounce off. Meanwhile, Hinata and Sora flew around the beast incredibly fast, creating a tornado around it with lightning shooting through the vortex. However, that also seemed to do no good.

"This thing is strong…" Mitsuko murmured, firing off her magic bolts and dodging attacks. "What could we do to defeat it?"

With that, the Night Dragon swung its tail around, knocking the Guardians backward. It then began inhaling before it started breathing a column of black fire at the girls.

"Whoa!" Momo gawked, before she responded with a freeze blast into the beast's throat, which caused it to retreat. As the girls got to their feet, they sighed as they changed back into their civilian clothes.

"Th-That was close…" Kisho gasped, breathing in and out heavily.

"Shouldn't we chase after the thing?" Sora asked.

"No. It's getting late. We'll search for it in the morning," Mitsuko replied, walking out of the forest followed with everyone else.

"Something… definitely seemed strange with that Nightmare Beast…" Hinata murmured.

"You sure?" Sora asked.

"It felt… more powerful for some reason…" Hinata replied.

"Either way, let's regroup, and we'll fight it in the morning," Mitsuko stated, as they finally got to the dorms.

"Ah'm gonna head off then. See ya, girls," AJ stated, as she walked back towards Akiyama Acres.

"Hinata and I are gonna turn in as well. G'night," Sora added, she and Hinata both walking toward their dorm room. As Kisho, Momo, and Mitsuko reached their dorm room, however, something seemed… off.

"Where's Spike?" Mitsuko asked as she and the others noticed Spike wasn't in the dorm.

"Hoo!" the girls suddenly heard Owlowiscious hoot frantically, standing on the open window sill and pointing outside with his wing.

"What?! He left?!" Mitsuko gasped, before falling to her knees, "I've driven him away… oh, this is all my fault…"

"Now's not the time to blame yourself, darling! We got to go save him!" Kisho told her, trying to motivate her.

"Y-You're right. C'mon, girls, we've gotta go find Spike!" Mitsuko stated in agreement. Together, the three girls ran outside followed by Owlowiscious.

Spike sighed as he walked further into the Shroudwood Forest, a few tears falling down his face.

"Well, guess I'll just live in the forest or something. Mitsuko doesn't even care… she doesn't love me anymore…" Spike sighed. However, as he was walking, he suddenly felt himself bump into something, which caused him to look up to see a big eye looking down at him.

"Um… hi?" Spike stuttered, nervous about the eye before it moved into the sky, revealing the head of a dragon which suddenly roared.

"It's so dark here… how are we going to find Spike?" Kisho asked.

"Well, Owls can see in the dark. Maybe Owlowiscious can guide us!" Momo replied.

"We just need to follow the ketchup marks on the ground, girls," Mitsuko noted, looking down at the red marks made by Spike's ketchup covered feet.

Suddenly, the three heard a roar come from up ahead, which they realized was the Night Dragon!

"Whoa! Sounds like that one big dragon is close!" Momo noted, looking over at Kisho and Mitsuko. However, the three then heard a scream from the same direction.

"Oh no! Spike! We have to save him! Ikuze, min'na!" Mitsuko exclaimed as they prepared themselves.

"Tomodachi Transform!"

With that, the three charged forward to see Spike running from the Night Dragon. However, just as it seemed like Spike was about to get hit, a shadow swooped down from above, clawing its talons into the Night Dragon's arm.

"Owlowiscious?!" Mitsuko gasped.

"Bird-brain?!" Spike gawked as well, before the owl picked up Spike by his tail, flying him away from the Night Dragon's reach.

"Hoo," Owlowiscious hooted, before giving what looked like a small smile to Spike.

"Hey, thanks. Thought I was gonna become Nightmare chow," Spike stated, "Guess you're not such a bad bird after all. Sorry I tried to get rid of you…"

"Hoo."

"Me, that's who… oh wait…"

Just then, the Night Dragon roared ferociously, breathing fire at the two, trying to knock them out of the sky.

"Hey, leave them alone!" Kisho shouted, flinging at rock at the Night Dragon's face before using her powers to pin the beast to the ground.

"I think you need to CHILL!" Momo giggled, freezing the Night Dragon in ice. However, it seemed to break out just as easily.

"Oh man… c'mon, Spike, think… How would you be able to defeat a dark dragon…" Spike thought to himself, "Hmmm… dragon scales are pretty hard stuff… the only place they're vulnerable is…" He then gasped, realizing what he had to do.

"Hey, bird-brain, you ever heard of a tactic called the Fastball Special?" Spike asked, winking.

"...Hoo," Owlowiscious hooted, realizing just what Spike was planning on attempting. The bird then flew around in a circle, gathering up momentum as Spike flung around like a stone on a sling, before Owlowiscious let the dragon loose, sending him flying straight toward the Night Dragon.

"Hey, faker, say Cheese!" Spike shouted, using his wings to keep him straight as he flew straight into the Night Dragon's gullet as it roared, Mitsuko and the others gasping as this happened.

"Spike, no!" Mitsuko cried out in despair. However, the Night Dragon started to feel strange, as he began to puff up, before finally exploding in a massive array of shadow energy that quickly faded, before a partially singed Spike the Dragon appeared where its stomach was, coughing a bit.

"He's okay!" Momo shouted in relieved excitement.

"That was just incredible, darling!" Kisho complimented.

"Spike, thank goodness you're alright!" Mitsuko stated in relief as she ran to Spike and gave him a hug.

"What are you so happy for? Earlier, you said you didn't need me anymore," Spike sighed.

"Spike, I would never say that. You're still my responsibility, and my number one assistant. Even though I was mad, it didn't mean I didn't care about you," Mitsuko stated, "I'm sorry that I got mad at you and that I wasn't trying to understand how you feel."

"I'm sorry I accidently burned one of your notebooks," Spike replied, before hugging Mitsuko.

"Hoo," Owlowiscious hooted happily.

"Thanks for your help, Owlowiscious. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to defeat that dragon imposter," Spike stated, "I hope we can put all this behind us. Friends?"

"Hoo," Owlowiscious agreed, as the owl held out his wing to shake Spike's hand, the two smiling at each other.

"And I hope you realize that even though Owlowiscious is helping, he's only here to help with the tasks that a little dragon like yourself needs help with. You're still my number one assistant no matter what," Mitsuko reassured, "Now, let's get home so that we can get you a bath. You're filthy!"

Spike paused before sniffing himself, before reeling back in disgust. "Yeah, I've got Night Dragon guts all over me," he chuckled, as the girls and Owlowiscious left along with Spike out of the forest.

Though we all speak the same language, it can be hard at times to understand what is truly happening. Over the past few days, I've learned that misunderstanding can lead to conflict, and it's only through good communication that we are able to connect better with the people around us. There's no need to jump to conclusions, even if you know the whole story. Talk things out. It's the best way to solve problems.

"Alright, Spike, how are those sandwiches coming along?" Mitsuko asked as she finished writing in the last of her journal entry.

"Just about done!" Spike replied, putting down the special sauce to his homemade sandwiches, before turning to Owlowiscious, "Hey, Owlowiscious, you think you can get down the lettuce for me?"

"Hoo," the owl replied, before flying up and grabbing a container of lettuce before bringing it down to Spike, which caused the little dragon to smile.

"Well, isn't that nice that you two are finally getting along," Mitsuko smiled.

"Hey, Mitsuko, we're ready for the picnic!" Sora stated, as she, AJ, Hinata, and their pets walked in.

"Alright! We're just about packed and ready to go!" Spike noted, holding a tray full of the sandwiches he and Owlowiscious made. However, as he walked, he realized that someone took a bite out of the top sandwich. "Hey, someone took a bite out of one of my sandwiches!"

"Hoo?"

"Yeah, that's what I wanna know," Spike replied, as he looked around before seeing Momo with her cheeks full.

"What? I couldn't help it! They're so delicious!" Momo shouted with her mouth full, causing the others to sigh before laughing.

Mitsuko: Well, here we are. Back again for another Super Hero Trivia. As always, I'm Mitsuko Pikari, Guardian of the Element of Magic…

Takeshi: And I'm Takeshi Narumi, Kamen Rider SEGA. And… wait… where's Mason? Wasn't he supposed to join us this time?

Mason: *speeds in* Sorry I'm late. I'm Mason, the Toa of Stone, MataBrown.

Mitsuko: Anyways, let's waste no time at all and spin the wheel! *spins the wheel to end up landing on…*

Takeshi: Sonic, eh? Well, guess I can talk about that a bit more in-depth. Now, Sonic games have been around for almost 25 years now. Some are good, some are bad, some are hated by fans to no end…

Mason: I have heard that he's had some bad games here and there.

Takeshi: Regardless, one thing that stays true to the Sonic series is the vast array of characters of all sorts. First off, we have the main ones who were introduced throughout Sonics 1-3, as well as Sonic CD. Besides Sonic, one of the most beloved characters is the young two-tailed fox with a lot of heart, Miles "Tails" Prower, who since his debut in Sonic 2 has become Sonic's best friend!

Mitsuko: Kinda like you and Kai, right?

Takeshi: Well, yeah. I guess you could put it that way.

Mason: Don't we also have the lovable Brute, Knuckles the Echidna, as well as Sonic's "love interest", Amy Rose?

Takeshi: Yep. While I do find the "romance" a bit sweet, Amy is a bit too much of a stalker. Anyways, as the games went on, more and more characters were introduced and some fan favorites like Shadow came into the world.

Mitsuko: And there were missteps like… *takes out a copy of Sonic 06.* this disaster from our world?

Takeshi: Yep. However, it still gave us a cool new character in the form of Silver the Hedgehog, one character that I personally really like.

Mason: So, isn't there going to be a reboot?

Takeshi: It's not a reboot, but a different universe. The upcoming Sonic Boom, or as it will be known in Japan, as Sonic Toon. As well, it'll be showing off new characters like the new character, Sticks the Badger.

Mitsuko: There's even a TV Show with the same name. Which the game prologues.

Mason: Interesting. Well, guess it's time for us to head out, then. Well, until then, this has been Mason, AKA MataBrown…

Mitsuko: Mitsuko Pikari, the Guardian of Magic…

Takeshi: And Takeshi Narumi, Kamen Rider SEGA. Jaa ne, min'na!

Momo: Hey, you know what we haven't had for a while? A PARTY!

Sora: Perfect timing, too. It's my birthday tomorrow.

?: Did someone say… party?

Momo: Who're you?

?: ...I plan parties.

Momo: You can't outparty me! I challenge you…

Jikai, Momo's Party Showdown

AJ: What's that, anyway?

Hinata: I have no idea.

TB: Well, that was something. Feeling any better now, Silver?

Silver: Yeah… I guess I was overreacting a bunch. I should apologize to Sempai…

*suddenly, a Helheim Portal opens up in the studio, before an Inves comes through*

TB: Aw hell. *takes out WizarSwordGun and shoots Inves, to no effect*

Silver: Don't worry, I got this… *takes out Sengoku Driver* Hensh-! *gets Sengoku Driver knocked out of his hand* Oh crap… *Inves charges at Silver* AH! NOT THE FACE!

=GIGA GABURINCHO! BRA~GIGAS + BRA~GIGAS!=

KKD: HANDS OFF MY KOUHAI, KONO RYUU-YARO!

TB: *singing* HERE HE COMES TO SAVE THE DAY~!

=GIGAN! GIGA~N!=

*A huge blast comes from the Giga Gaburevolver, causing the Inves to explode in defeat as KKD, as Kyoryu Silver, approaches Silver.*

Silver: S-Sempai? You saved me!

KKD: Couldn't let my Kouhai get beaten by a lowly Inves. *holds out hand to Silver*

Silver: *takes KKD's hand and gets up* Thanks. *picks up his Sengoku Driver from the ground* Listen, I'm sorry for what happened. I didn't mean to trash the studio…

KKD: I know you didn't mean to. I just lost my temper back there. I mean, wouldn't you be too if you trusted someone with something while you were on vacation only to find out they ruined it when you got back.

Silver: Right. Anyways, I guess that we move on to the favorite parts, then?

TB: I guess we can. Even though you weren't here KKD, what was your favorite part?

KKD: I can't really say, I didn't even see you guys work on this thing. Sorry.

Silver: Gotta say my favorite part was the fight scene against the Night Dragon where Spike and Owlowiscious team up to take it down. I've always liked Owlowiscious. He's a nice foil for Spike and the two work off each other nicely, I find. Owlowiscious normally gives realism to Spike's ideas after his debut, especially in "Inspiration Manifestation". I'd have to say he's my second favorite of the pets, with my favorite being Winona. She's such a cute puppy! X3

KKD: Yea… always was more of a dog-person… but seeing this is the internet, people may or may not kill us for saying that. ...Stupid cats.

TB: My favorite part is the same one as Silver, where Owlowiscious teams up with Spike for a *in Dive Kick announcer voice* FLYING HEADBUTT!

Silver: Well, actually what happened was Spike ignited the gas in the Night Dragon's body that normally is used to breathe fire, resulting in an explosion… which Spike surprisingly survives without injury...

KKD: Yowch...

TB: 1. I think dragons can survive extreme heat. 2. That was also like in the climax of the first How to Train Your Dragon, right?

KKD: Good point.

Silver: Yeah, that's what it was based on, though I had forgotten where it was based on before you mentioned that. Thanks, TB.

TB: You're welcome. Though, I'm a little disappointed that we missed an opportunity to make a Harry Potter joke.

KKD: -_- … No comment.

Silver: I didn't even get what kind of reference you wanted me to make… -_-

TB: A smart student has both an owl and a dragon. You do the math. -_-

KKD: -_-... again… no comment.

Dash: You'll have to excuse him. He's not the biggest Harry Potter fan. In fact, his interest in the franchise is unfortunately nonexistent.

KKD: ...Too subtle, Dashie.

Silver: Yeah, and I haven't paid any attention to the series since I saw the last movie. I've been too busy with other fandoms. I may be known as "the Man of a Thousand Fandoms" but that doesn't mean all fandoms are equal in my eyes… *holds up Orange Lockseed* Though, Kamen Rider definitely stands out. Also, I need to get more of these...

TB: Speaking of Lockseeds, before we go I would like to test these three new ones I made! *holds up three Lockseeds with Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros* And all three of us are gonna test them!

Silver: Wait… do you guys have Sengoku Drivers?

TB: I just got this one. *holds a Sengoku Driver up and puts it on his waist*

Silver: Heh. Bet yours doesn't have the DNA-lock disabled like mine. *smirks before putting on his own Sengoku Driver*

TB: Remember smartass, I can turn the DNA-lock on and off just like you. So which ones would you two like? I call dibs on Urataros!

KKD: Uh… you sure it's a good idea to use these? Last time I used a gimmick item of one of the Taros, I ended up with one of them possessing me. *Dashie slaps a Sengoku Driver on his waist and hands him the Ryuutaros Lock.* HEY!

Silver: Aw man! I wanted the Ryuutaros Lockseed. -_- *sighs, before grabbing the Kintaros Lockseed*

KKD: Actually… *tosses Ryuutaros Lockseed to Silver* You take that one, I'll use Kintaros… *takes said Lock* ...Though, I am still uneasy about this…

Silver: Don't worry. It'll be fine. Ready guys?

TB: On my count ok?

KKD: Uh… *sighs and groans* Fine. *Trio activate the Lockseeds*

=URATAROS!/KINTAROS!/RYUUTAROS!=

*With that, they set the Lockseeds in place*

=LOCK ON!=

TB: 3, 2, 1!

TB/KKD/Silver: HENSHIN! *activates their Drivers*

=*Guitar Riff*/HAI~!/COME ON! URATAROS/KINTAROS/RYUUTAROS ARMS! MISTER~ FISHERMAN!/NAKERU DE! HA! HA! HA!/KOTAE WA KITTENAI~=

TB: AWESOME! *is now in Bravo's Urataros armor swinging a bo staff*

KKD: ...No Imagin control? *looks at his Ryugen armor and then at the huge axe he held in one hand while in Ryuugen's Kintaros armor*

Silver: Pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. *in Gridon's Ryuutaros armor with Ryuutaros's gun* Anyways, we have one more chapter to finish in our triple Super Hero Time… wait… Sempai, did you finish Mataranger by any chance?

KKD: Yea. Had to with us in a foul mood.

Silver: Okay then! Well, folks, this has been the Radiant Rider, SilverariaMaximum…

TB: The Lone Rider, TokuBrony…

KKD: And the Crossover King, KKD Silver! And we'll catch you later. 'Til then, we got a Rider story to get to. Jaa ne!

TB: SEIYA! *does a spinning kick*

Silver: Stand up the Vanguard!
