A few days after the incident with Julie and Castiel was finally feeling okay about being home alone again. He felt a little traumatized about it but didn't really want to bring it up to Dean who had became even more distant after the event. If Cas spoke to him sometimes Dean would walk by as if he hadn't heard the angel. The angel would have to repeat himself a few times before Dean heard him and it just made Castiel feel even more awkward about everything.

Dahlia had came over to cook with him as Leon had wanted some time to work on their comic and they did have a few conventions coming up so they both liked to destress a little with their own things. They were baking small little pies with different fruit in them so each of their families could have snacks for a few days.

"That bitch just pisses me off to no end. She's trying to be up in everyone's pants and only a few of the fools around here want her there and she can't stand the word no." Dahlia said, wiping her hair out of her face and trying to tuck it behind her ear with a part of her hand not covered in dough.

"I don't really care who's pants she's in, really." Cas said, his voice calm, "As long as it's not mine or anyone's that I care about."

"I know, honey, and that's all well and good but one day karma is going to get her and I hope I'm there to see it happen."

"I'm sure you will be." Cas chuckled darkly, "I'm trying to keep my mind off of her though. Hence the baking with my best friend."

"You're right. Don't give her another thought. Let's bake for our men."

Cas turned to the oven and stuck the next batch of mini-pies in and then turned back to the counter to roll more crusts. It was one fluid motion and it brought him so much happiness.

Dahlia stopped and looked around the kitchen, turning in a full circle before putting a hand on her hip.

"What's the matter?" Cas croaked.

"I forgot the darn blueberries. Leon will have my head. It's his favorite." She told him, wiping a hand on the kitchen towel, "I'll be right back. You okay?"

Castiel nodded as she turned and walked out the front door. A few minutes later he heard the door close again.

"That was really quick!" Castiel called loudly, "Leon must have-"

He stopped mid-sentence as he looked towards the kitchen door and saw Julie standing there.

"Julie." Cas' heart dropped all the way down to his left foot as he swallowed the huge lump in his throat.

"Why, Castiel." She said standing there and fluttering her eyelashes, "I just thought it would be rude of me not to return the cup of sugar that I borrowed with your tupperware."

"That was not necessary." He replied, stiffly.

"I think it was. I know you like to bake. I wouldn't want to use all of your ingredients."

"It was not of import." He added a little bite to his voice.

"I assure you it was." She set the small tupperware bowl, full of sugar, down on his counter and walked towards him, her voice deep and throaty.

"I'm a married man." Castiel replied as he held his hands up and backed away from her.

"I know."

"I want you to- to leave."

"I don't think you really do."

"I do."

"No. No, you don't. No one ever wants me to leave."

"I-"

"No one."

He felt the cold steel of his refrigerator hit his back and he gasp as she closed in a millimeter from his face. She took the opportunity to grab the back of his head and pull him in for a kiss. Her tongue slithered across his lips and then his teeth as she tried to force him to kiss her back. He was pulling away as hard as he could but she had his head in an iron grip.

Finally, he managed to twist out of her grip and push her away from him. His face was red from anger but she giggled anyway and started towards him again.

"Are you insane?!" He yelled at her, "I am a married man! I love my husband and I don't need a whore like you coming in here trying to ruffle my feathers all the time."

"So I ruffle your feathers?"

"No, I said trying. I am unruffled! Consider me unruffleable!"

"I think if you give me a little more time-"

"No! I don't know how to make it more clear to you. Leave my house and don't come back! You are not welcome here."

"Wha-"

"No. There is nothing more to say. Leave."

"What's going on here?" A voice came from the door of the kitchen. Dahlia was staring at the two of them with a raised eyebrow and blueberries in her hand.

"Prudes." Julie mumbled and then clicked her tongue against her teeth before striding out of the house.

Dahlia walked the rest of the way to the counter and started laying out more ingredients.

"You okay, doll?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"You sure?" She put a hand on his back.

"I'll be alright."

"Good. Let's just bake until Dean gets back. That will take your mind off things. Besides, you laid into her so I don't think she'll be back."

"I laid into her?" Cas asked, his eyebrows raising.

"Well… you know… for you that was laying into somebody."

He laughed as they went back to baking.

It was a few hours later when Dean got in from work. Castiel had laid out dinner and a few of the mini pies were in the oven for re-warming.

"Hey." Dean said as he walked into the kitchen, his voice quieter than usual as it had been lately.

"Hello, Dean." Cas replied, as he usually did.

"What's wrong?" Dean asked, his eyebrows knitted together.

"Nothing, Dean." He looked into Dean's eyes with confusion, not really knowing how he could tell something was wrong.

"No. What's wrong?"

Cas sighed, not really wanting to say anything as the unsure feeling grew in his stomach, "Julie was over again when Dahlia left earlier and…"

Cas trailed off, not really sure how to explain what had happened to him.

"And?" Dean said, now scowling as the anger in him rose.

"She sort of cornered me and tried to choke me with her tongue."

"She what?" Dean shouted, just barely stopping himself from not smashing his fist into the counter, "What didn't you call me? Immediately!"

"I don't want to bother you while you're at work, Dean." Castiel replied, trying to remain calm, "I didn't think you'd care."

"Of course I care, Cas! Why would you ever think I wouldn't care?!" Dean's nostrils flared, "Some bitch comes over and tries to tongue-frack my husband and I'm going to care!"

"I just thought…" The angel said, not knowing what to say next.

Dean stopped yelling and looked at Castiel. He really looked at him for the first time in weeks and he swallowed hard. Neither of them said anything or looked away until Dean stiffened and cleared his throat.

"I don't want her in my house. Start locking the door." The hunter said quickly as he stalked out of the room.

Things were getting a little too real for Dean Winchester… but he wasn't sure until that moment just how real.
