(Authors intro) "Joffrey is locked in the vault of Xaro Xhoan Daxos and with the key destroyed the odds of getting him out look slim. However Tyrion comes up with a daring plan to get Joffrey out by acquiring the advanced technology from the Land of the Dead.

The next chapter is going to be a Games of Throne/Walking Dead cross over so if you know anyone who is a Walking Dead fan please inform them of the next chapter. Thanks VaronTheUnbelievable.

"Heave!" Meryn Trant screamed at forcefully recruiting people from the village as they slammed a battering ram against the vault door. "Come on men put your backs into it! We need to get the king out!" About half an hour had passed since Joffrey got locked in the vault. Sir Meryn had ordered the other King's guard members to search for Peter Forthwind.

"How could you let this happen?" Cersei screamed, as she walked down the now brightly light halls with The Hound. She approached Sir Meryn with a look of pure anger on her face. "Thanks to your failure Joffrey my son and your king is locked in a vault that every local here says cannot be opened!"

"The king ordered me to stay outside while he and that squire Peter Forthwind went inside. That traitor must have locked the king in." Sir Meryn replied trying to get some of the queen's wraith directed away from him.

"What is being done to find him?" Cersei asked. "That monster betrayed by son! I want him found!"

"The King's guard is out searching as we speak, and I will not sleep until the king is out." Cersei went over to the vault door as Sir Meryn screamed at the villagers.

"Joffrey dear are you all right?" Joffrey voice was faint due to the vault, but his screaming could still be made out.

"What kind of stupid question is that mother? How do you think I am? I am locked in a vault that can only be opened with a key that Peter Forthwind has! As your king I commanded you to find him and bring him to me!"

"We will search day and night my king." Sir Meryn replied in a commanding voice, and then his voice took on a less confident tone. "My king we found small pieces of metal around the area and a card with a scale of justice on the front, and on the back of the card the words were written. The key is destroyed. The king is dead." The sounds of Joffrey pounding on the door in a rage could be heard.

For the next hour the battering ram slammed against the door. The villagers were tired, Cersei and Sir Meryn were frustrated, and the vault door was not even scratched.

"Dog do something! open this vault!" Joffrey screamed.

"I have been pulling on it for an hour!" The Hound replied. The sound of footsteps could be heard walking down the stairs and Bronn and Tyrion entered the hallway.

"Where have you been?!" Cersei screamed. "It has been nearly two hours since you were informed about what happened. Is the pleasure house more important to you then your nephew and king?"

"Yes, but we were finishing up when we found out about the king, so we headed over to the archives to get blue prints for the vault."

"You have the blue prints? hand them over." Cersei said as she extended her hand. Tyrion handed them to her and walked over to the vault door.

"Joffrey I have good news and bad news what do you want to hear first?" Joffrey was surprised to hear Tyrion's voice.

"The day has been bad enough already so give me the bad news and save the good news."

"The bad news is the vault is built from Valyrian stone and there is no way to get you out without the key. Which I just found out was destroyed." Joffrey started screaming and cursing furiously. The vault door sounded like someone was playing drums on it.

"The imp lies my king!" Sir Meryn screamed. "We will break this door down!" Cersei threw the blue prints on the ground and glared at Tyrion, expecting him to say the good news was the kingdoms will live on.

"It's Valyrian stone." Bronn said knocking on it. Breaking Joffrey's drumming rhythm. "With this kind of thickness no sword, ram, or even wildfire will get through." Sir Meryn nearly drew his sword before Tyrion started speaking again.

"Joffrey." He screamed. "You need to spot ranting and pounding on the door if you want to hear the good news."

"What could possibly be good news?" Joffrey said in a crazed voice. "You just informed me I was trapped with no way out."

"Just shut up and listen to me."

"You're talking to the king!" Joffrey screamed.

"Fine don't listen." Tyrion said getting up and walking a few feet away. "I might have a way to save you but if you don't want my help fine just let Sir Meryn and his villagers keep pounding away." A feeling a dread filled Joffrey's body. As much as he hated to admit it to himself he knew he needed his Uncle's advice.

"Uncle wait! I'm sorry just tell me the good news." Tyrion walked back over to the vault.

"Joffrey now listen walk to the very left of the vault door and crouch down." For once Joffrey did what Tyrion suggested.

"All I see is a bit of light." Joffrey said then his voice become happy. "Light a hole!"

"Yes, the blue prints method a small hole left by the blacksmiths." Tyrion then pulled a straw out of his pocket and push it through the hole. "Can you feel the straw?" Joffrey replied yes. "Good now we can get you water, and in Qarth they have a food called spaghetti we can fit through the hole."

"How in the world is this spaghetti food going to fit through this small hole? What is it anyway?" Joffrey asked.

"Apparently it is a long type of pasta that is long and hard when uncooked. So, it can be cooked in the straw and given to."

"Well any type of food sounds good at this rate. I hate to say this but thank you Uncle. Now how are you going to get me out of here?"

"Yes," Cersei added in a happy voice. "I want to hear how you plan on getting Joffrey out. I also hate to say this but anything you need from me just let me know." Bronn knelt down next to Tyrion.

"Joffrey, I know you're in kind of a spot right know but how much money, gold, and gems are in the vault?" Cersei and Sir Meryn looked at him shocked. Bronn just shrugged his shoulders. "I just like to know all the details."

"You will address me as My King or Your Grace, and there is not a penny in here!" Joffrey yelled.

"That's strange." Bronn said confused. "The person who owned the house or Peter Forthwind must have taken it."

"I don't really care." Joffrey said annoyed. "Uncle as your king I command you to tell me your plan on getting his door opened."

"Joffrey." Tyrion said in a serious voice. "For my plan to work you need to understand it is going to take time. The only land near here that may have a way to get you out is… The Land of the Dead."

"Have you lost your mind little brother? The Land of the Dead is overrun! What could you possibly find useful there"

"Dear sister as you know before the dead over ran the Land of the Dead it was one of the two continents with advanced technology. Most of the people living there are dead or turned to simple white walkers, but the technology they once had remains. Explaining our current situation to other continents will show we have an idiot for a king and will be easy to attack."

"You can't insult me!" Joffrey screamed. Tyrion was shocked that even in Joffrey's current predicament his ego was still intact.

"Joffrey the longer I am here arguing with you the longer you are going to be trapped inside." Joffrey stopped yelling and listened. "Now I need you to allow me to take the Sea King and any supplies I need. I will also need the following men to accompany me on the mission. Bronn, Jamie, The Hound, Grand Maester Pycelle, and Maester Qyburn."

"Sir Meryn." Joffrey said.

"Yes my King." Sir Meryn replied as he crouched down near the hole.

"You will take over the hunt for Peter Forthwind. Uncle anything you need to get me out of here is yours. Also send a raven to Grandfather informing him he is to be acting king in my leave. When can I expect you to return?" Tyrion knew a rant storm was coming but spoke anyway.

"If everything goes perfectly and we located a way to get you out as soon as we arrive about a month or two." When Joffrey heard that the ranting and pounding on the vault door started again. "I will take my leave now Your Grace." Tyrion said as him and Bronn started to walk down the hall.

"Tyrion." Cersei said. She struggled to get these words out but finally managed to say. "Safe travels little brother."

"I'm more worried about you." Tyrion replied. "You have to stay with the king of the vault for at least a month." Cersei gave an express that said I don't want to do this but I have to. The ranting continued and even Cersei did not want to listen to it so she went to make arrangement for food and water to be brought to Joffrey while Tyrion, Bronn, and The Hound went to the Sea King.

One week later at midday the Sea King had returned to the port of Black Water Bay. On the journey Tyrion had sent Ravens to Jamie and Tywin informing them of the situation. As the ship got closer to the docks they noticed an army of men and supplies on it. The second the ship was tied to the dock men started loading boxes of supplies on it.

"When I heard Joffrey got himself locked in a vault it took me a while to figure out if it was a joke. Jamie said as he walked onto the Sea King. He slammed the Hound and Bronn on the shoulder and shook Tyrion's hand.

"This whole situation is more than a joke. It's a tragedy." Tywin added standing on the dock next to Varys.

"I though you would be enjoying your position as king." Tyrion said.

"Not when the actions of the real king will bring shame to the family name for years if reviled. Fortunately only a few people know the truth though." Tywin said annoyed.

"I can only imagine the songs they would sing about the king of the vault." Bronn added. Tywin was not amused by that comment and replied.

"The only songs that will be sung will be about the destruction of this brotherhood of justice." Tywin looked at Tyrion. "The minute I got your message I sent Sir Gregor." The Hound snarled at the name of his brother. "And a strike force to Qarth to help locate and make an example of this Brotherhood of justice. That will show the world what happens when you try to embarrass the Lannisters."

"If I may cut in?" Grand Maester Pycelle said in an out of breath voice as he walked up the dock. Maester Qyburn was a few feet behind him. Both men were carrying bags of equipment. "Lord Tyrion I do not understand why you need a Maester to come with you to the Land of the Dead."

"I need both of you because out of anyone you two will be able to identify the items we need."

"I must confess Lord Tyrion I am not very familiar with the advance technology that land once held." Pycelle said trying to sound non-confident.

"He's just afraid." Maester Qyburn said as he got on the ship.

"Nonsenses, we should leave immediately." Grand Maester Pycelle replied in an annoyed voice and quickly got on the ship.

"Just a moment longer." Maester Qyburn added. "Podrick is coming with some more equipment from my laboratory."

"It is my laboratory! You are just here because I cannot get rid of you!" Grand Maester Pycelle screamed. A few seconds later Podrick ran down the peer, got on the ship and handed two bags to Maester Qyburn.

"Podrick." Tyrion said. "Stay you are coming with us. We need a squire after all."

"That you my lord. It will be an honor." A few minutes later all the supplies were loaded up and the ship was getting ready to leave.

"If we do not receive a raven from you in six months you will be presumed dead." Twin said.

"No need to worry about that. This lot is hard to kill." Bronn said.

"Lord Tyrion to give some advance before you leave, trust no one you may come across." Lord Varys said. "My birds have informed me that a ruthless warlord that calls himself the Governor runs the territory you are likely to land in."

"Tyrion, Jamie bring honor to the Lannister name." Tywin said as the Sea King started to leave the dock. Tyrion and Jamie acknowledged Tywin's words as they started their journey to the Land of The Dead.

Two weeks had passed since Tyrion had left. Joffrey sat in the darkness pulling the straws of spaghetti through the hole. Weeks of eating the same food had caused Joffrey to hate the pasta. A beard was beginning to grow on his face, and No one was able to located Peter Forthwind. Fortunately, for Joffrey he had found another small hole in the floor that went to an underground stream that Joffrey used for his bathroom.

"Mother you have to find me a different food. I am getting sick of eating this spaghetti."

"I'm sorry dear but nothing else will fit though the hole. We keep adding more sauces so you have different flavors. Now what do you want to drink?"

"Give me wine and enough nightshade to help me sleep for a month." Cersei ordered a servant to get Joffrey's order when the sound of heavy footsteps started to fill the room, and soon the eight foot Mountain come walking down the hall followed close behind by the Tickler and Weasel carrying a cage of rats and a chair.

"Lord Tywin ordered me to come here and assist with the search. What are your orders my queen?" The Mountain asked in a deep voice.

"My only order is find who did this to my son and bring him to me, but make sure he is alive."

"Yes my queen." The Mountain replied and started to leave the room.

"Hold on Sir Gregor." The Tickler added walking up to the vault. "We need to get some information first. Joffrey can you describe the man we are looking for and any friends he may have?" Joffrey had Peter Forthwind burned in his mind so describing him was easy.

"The traitor who did this is named Peter Forthwind. He is normal height with brown skin and black hair. Last I saw him he was wearing royal robs. That is all I know about him."

"By the gods we are going to have to pull people off the street at random." The Tickler said a little concerned about time. He shrugged his shoulders and said. "Sir Gregor just start picking people at random and bring them to Weasel and I." Sir Gregor smiled and left the room. "Now we need to find a place to begin working. Where is the owner of this house anyway?" Cersei was about to speak but Joffrey spoke up first.

"He is in here with me."

"What do you mean?" they both replied shocked.

"There are two decomposing skeletons in here with me! One seems to have resorted to cannibalism because the arm bone of the other one is torn off."

"How do you know it is the owner of the house?" The Ticker asked.

"Because in his pocket was a letter addressed to Xaro Xhoan Daxos you idiot. Now stop stalling and get to work."

"Right." The Ticker replied. "I will need to set up outside so the blood can properly drain into the soil. Otherwise blood will get into the crakes in the floor and diseases will begin to spring up."

"Do whatever you need to do." Cersei replied. The Ticker and Weasel walked outside to start setting up as Joffrey screamed for his wine.

A week later the Sea King was moving through a deep fog. Everyone on the ship was keeping watch for anything coming through the fog in this little explored part of the world.

"Lord Tyrion." Podrick said standing at the front on the ship. "Land is ahead." Everyone moved to the front of the ship as the fog began to clear and The Land of the Dead came into view. The beach had a few dead bodies and broken structures of once great building and machines were in the distance. A few zombies walked along the beach stopping to feed on any remaining meat on the non-turned dead bodies.

"Here we are. We have arrived at the Land of The Dead." Tyrion said.
