Okay so I am a terrible person. I realized I wrote this 4 years ago but I had NO idea that I never updated the last chapter. I feel so completely awful. I am beyond sorry and here is the last chapter. Hopefully anyone who still reads this can forgive me! Enjoy!

Marti ran a tired hand over her face as she made her way into the nursery. She lifted the small baby into her arms, keeping his body close to her own. "Michael would you please be quiet." She pleaded with her son her continued to cry before relaxing in his mothers arms.

Marti let out a breath of relief, pressing a kiss to his hair. "You silly baby boy." She murmured.

She walked over to the rocking chair, sitting with him in her arms as she started to rock him slowly. His whines soon turned into giggles as he pulled back to look at his mother. "Hey baby." She grinned as she bounced him on her knee. "You really do look like your daddy." She smiled as she kissed his cheek.

"That's unfortunate." Julian spoke, his voice grumbling from the doorway.

Marti looked over at him, slightly alarmed by his sudden presence. "Oh you take that back he is adorable." Marti grinned as she stood to give him a kiss.

They were pulled apart by a large cry that startled them away from each other. "Would you get her please?" Marti asked.

Julian nodded and went back to the crib, lifting his daughter into his arms. "Sonya what's wrong baby girl?" He asked as he kissed her hair.

The young girl whimpered and curled into her fathers chest, relaxing when she was held.

"So much like your mother." Julian smiled.

Marti chuckled as she went to stand next to him, the two babies in their arms. "How did we get so lucky?" She spoke softly.

"They have us as parents." Julian joked as he pulled Marti close with his free arm, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Marti melted against him, keeping the kids close. "I would agree but if you remember they did give us a scare." She mentioned to the day the twins were born nearly six months ago.

"Oh trust me I remember." He frowned. Michael had had his embilican cord wrapped around his neck and Sonya had been breached. It was not an easy day for their family but it had been more than worth it the first time they held their children in their arms.

"Hopefully next time it's less stressful." Marti mentioned.

"Next time?" Julian asked with a raised brow, a smile on his lips.

"Yeah, do you want there to be a next time?" She asked, almost afraid of the answer.

"I would love for their to be a next time." He smiled as he looked down at their two children. "But I think only one next time."

"I agree." Marti spoke. "Watch us end up with triplets." She joked.

Julian laughed as he watched the two children who's hands had intertwined.

"Whatever it is, as long as we're together we'll be okay."

"Agreed." Marti grinned as she kissed him quickly.

She didn't know how long they had stayed like that; just the two of them holding each other and their children close but it didn't matter. They would spend the rest of their lives together as a family and nothing would ever be able to tear them apart.
