Raising children while being a queen and all was hard. It certainly took its toll on Christian, who more often than not found himself alone with his two daughters playing in their royal wing or out on a playground.

Sophia and Leah were two girls not scared of getting dirty, and Christian encouraged that. He wanted them to throw mud at each other and more importantly, on him. He didn't get angry if they spilled sauce all over themselves at dinner or if suddenly, the colours they had been painting with were laying upside down on the wooden floors.

He was desperately trying to give his daughters the childhood he never got.
