A/N: Just wanted to say that I'm back I'm updating and I'm sorry. Wish I could blame this one on school but it took five rewrites and twice on me just dumping this stupid chapter in the trash and starting over before I could finally finish this chapter. But I promise that I won't be abandoning this story! (mostly cause my friends would kill me)

Anyway thanks to all who favourited and followed and any new reviewers!

Disclaimer: I own NOTHING!

Amber walked back to her locker after going out for lunch hoping to find something, anything in Lizzy's files that would give Amber the leverage that she needed. She opened her locker and the files were gone. She swore in a very unladylike manner that her mom would have killed her for.

"What's the matter Amber?" Charlotte asked.

"That little bitch Lizzy broke into my locker and stole her file back!" Amber said irritated.

"So what?" Lee shrugged "You even said that there was nothing in the file that we could use. This just means that if they do a locker check then they won't find her file in your locker and you won't get in trouble. Besides now we can try digging even deeper online and see what people might know about here. You can find a helluva lot of dirt on someone through the internet."

"But my question is why?" Charlotte said. "What's the point? You've never cared this much about trying to ruin someone to this degree. What's so special about her?"

"That's what I want to know." Amber told her. "This is my school. I rule. Besides she's gotten entirely to close to Nathaniel and Castiel for my liking. There's something off about her and I'm going to find out what it is." Amber said determined.

Lee and Charlotte shared a look. They had seen this look a couple times before. The only thing that they could do now was go along with Ambers' schemes and hope that when the dust settled they'd still be standing pretty.

When I finally managed to drag myself home that night I had several bags of new clothes thanks to Rosalya, along with some new books and video games. I was tired and sore. Rose wouldn't let us leave until we had gone into every single clothing store in the mall. But then we had collectively got her back by not letting her leave until we had spent an extra couple hours looking at art supplies books and video games. I smiled to myself. Serves her right. Maybe next time she cut us some slack and not force us to spend hours posing in front of a mirror for her in version outfits.

I walked through the door and knew something was wrong. Everyone should have been home but it was silent as death inside the house. "Conner!" I yelled.

"Upstairs," came the muffled reply. I dropped my bag and race to Conner's room. He was sitting at his desk, completely engrossed in what he was doing.

"What's going on Con?" I asked.

"Someone's trying to dig into our past, well yours specifically. I'm trying to throw as much stuff into the way as possible but, if they keep digging like this it could draw you know who right to us."

"Can you crash it?" I asked all business.

"That's just a temporary fix. I can go crashing every computer every time someone tires digging into the past." Conner said eyeing me carefully.

"I know that and, I think I know who's doing it. I'll take care of it. Just can you please stop them before we get any more attention drawn to us." I asked slightly annoyed. Conner turned back to the computer and began hacking.

"Who knew that high school would be so problematic." He muttered.

"I did. I told you that there was no way to keep a low profile in high school. It's hard enough to do when you've lived in the same town you're entire life. It's even more difficult when you're the new girl in town. Especially in a small town like this. They want to know absolutely everything about you since they've known everyone else forever." I rolled my eyes. "I warned you that this wasn't a good idea. But did you listen? Nooo."

I continued. Conner sent me a warning glare, silently telling me to shut up. I sighed and he turned back to the computer. A few minutes later Conner turned away from the computer. "It's done." he said.

I didn't even have to asked if he had covered his tracks properly. I knew he had. He wouldn't dare do it any other way. When they computer was fixed they would just find a virus from the internet that had downloaded itself onto the computer and there would be no sign of Conner anywhere. He had learned the hard way about not covering everything we did.

"Is there any way to tell if he was looking at the stuff she was looking at?" I questioned.

"No. And you were right this was a bad idea. We should leave." He said shaking his head. "The thing is I'm already getting attached to this place. So are Ed and Ren. I don't want to go."

"I know where you're going with this. And it's dangerous. The longer we stay, the harder it will be to leave." I replied, for once being the voice of reason. I had to say, I didn't like it.

"I just wanted to be normal for awhile and after the incident you seemed to need it to. I thought this was a good idea." He said forlornly. He stood up suddenly. "I need to study. I have a big exam coming up. Go make some supper if you want any. Now go away."

Feeling like I had just been evicted from my brother room, I walked out into the hall and winced as his door slammed shut behind me; feeling even more depressed when I heard the deadbolt sliding home.

Stupid brother. Stupid Amber. Stupid 'we have to hid who we really are so that you know who can find us'. I was sick to death of my life. But then again it wasn't really my life anymore was it. It was someone else. I was just taking her place for a little while. I sighed as I trudged back to my room. I didn't want to do anything and I wasn't tired. I walked over to my own computer and decide to troll Facebook for a while and maybe then I'd be bored enough to sleep. I turned on my computer and found a notification that I had an email. Which was strange because I didn't give out my email to like anyone, even trying to trace my email address was close to impossible it was best not to take risks. I opened up the email and a shiver ran down my spine.

It was from an unknown user and there was no subject line. I opened it up and it was one line of text saying the words I hoped that I would never hear.

I have him.

Now I'm coming for you.

A/N: Ooh! what could it mean? please leave a review so I can know how I'm doing! Flame freindly!
