hey guys! So here's another chapter, sorry for it being short. Well enjoy! And I love hearing your thoughts so don't be afraid to review! I love reading reviews! Enjoy!

Castiel and Dean are both on Cloud 9 for the rest of the night. For the rest of the time Cas and his friends are at the bar, he can't keep at least a small smile off his face. Even as the three of them discuss movies and weekend plans, the smile stays. After about another hour, Cas takes Charlie and Kevin home and then heads home himself.

As he drives home, Cas finally has time to just think about what happened. Cas already loves how Dean can make him feel like the only other person in the world and that's exactly how he felt while they danced. He loves the spark he feels around Dean, the liberating feeling that's almost addictive, making him want to be around Dean more and more. He loves how Dean seems to bring out the old, confident Cas, the one from before the divorce and then the devastation of his mother's...death.

Cas thinks all of this as he walks into his house with a small smile on his face. He walks past his other siblings who are watching a movie together and ignores Raphael's glare and Michael's invitation to join them. Cas heads upstairs and into his room. Cas sits on the window seat in his room and looks out the window as he dials a number on his phone. As the phone rings, all Cas can think about is Dean and how he knows it'll take a mere month before he'll be completely and utterly in love with Dean Winchester.

"Hello?"

"Samandriel, I am so screwed..."

Jo drives Dean home about an hour after his dance with Cas. All of Dean's thoughts are on Cas and a smile hasn't left his face during the whole hour. Dean is so distracted he barely remembers to say goodbye to Jo before he walks inside his house. He nods to his dad who is drinking a beer and reading a book in the living room. Dean heads into the kitchen where his mother is seated at the table cutting out a few new dessert recipes from a magazine.

Mary looks up from her magazine and smiles at her son. Her smile widens when she sees the smile on her sons face. "What has you all happy?... Does it have anything to do with that guy you mentioned earlier this week?"

Dean shrugs and sits at the table. Mary goes and gets Dean the last piece of pie as he starts talking.

"His name is Cas and he finally agreed to go on a date with me."

"Oh, that's great, Dean. Really great." Mary places the last piece of pie and a glass of milk in front of Dean before sitting down across from him.

"Thanks. And he has the bluest eyes I've ever seen and I feel like when he looks at me, it's like he's looking at my soul or something. You'd think that that'd be uncomfortable or something, but it's not. Not with him. With him, I want him to see me, I just want him to know me, to read my soul in a way. I really like him, mom, and if he sees me, he'll be able to tell and hopefully he'll think I'm worth getting to know." Dean suddenly looks embarrassed by what he's saying and looks down at the table, eating his pie as he does so.

Mary smiles sweetly at her son. "Of course he'll see that you're worth getting to know. You really like him and I'm glad... I'm glad someone has made you willing to try the whole relationship thing again, and I'm certain you won't regret your decision to give relationships another chance." She gathers her recipes and stands. She kisses her son on the head. "I'm going to bed. Don't stay up too late and sleep well, sweetheart."

Dean looks up and smiles a bit again. "Goodnight, Mom. Thanks for listening." Mary nods and walks out of the room.

Dean finishes his pie and milk in silence, thinking about Cas and what his mom said. He believes that with Cas, his mom might be right. Maybe a relationship with Cas will be worth it, at least he hopes so. The way he feels around Cas and that spark and electricity that seems to be between them whenever they're together...it's absolutely riveting and completely addictive, drawing Dean in and making him want more, more of that feeling and more of Cas.

Dean rinses off his dishes and puts them in the dishwasher. He walks out of the kitchen and heads towards the stairs. He passes his father on the way. "Goodnight,

Dad."

John looks up from his book. "Goodnight, Dean...I'm happy for you son, and I hope this thing with Cas works out for you. From what your mother said, you really like him."

"I do. Thanks, Dad...and mom is such a gossip, I told her not 10 minutes ago."

John smiles. "That she is, but she's just happy for you, Dean. When you're happy, we're happy."

Dean nods and heads upstairs to his room for the night while John goes back to his book.
