Emma: I'M BAAAACK! *Evil glint in her eyes*
Izaya: HELP! SEND THE JAPANESE ARMY! SOS! THIS CRAZY HAG IS TRYING TO KILL ME OFF!
Shizuo: *Sighs* Calm down flea and let her speak.
Izaya: *Looks at Shizuo in confusion* You're kidding right?
Emma: *Smirks* Thank you Shizuo. Anyways. I apologize for the two year block. I swore to you guys never to leave you hanging and I did. I'm really sorry. If it's anything I have plenty of time to write now and I have a heap of fresh ideas for this fanfiction! Also I am in the process of writing two new Shizaya fanfictions as well as one for the Hobbit and one for Hetalia. So sit back and enjoy!~
Izaya: *Gulps nervously* Emma doesn't own Durarara! or any of the characters. She only owns the idea for this fanfiction.

Fear and a mythical being. Two things that if thought of properly can make for a good story. However, one doesn't really put a mythical being feeling fear. For Celty Sturluson fear was very much something she felt and it wasn't pleasant.

For two entire weeks Celty searched for her significant other, Shinra Kishitani and her friends. Not only was Shinra missing but so were half of the infamous occupants of Ikeukuro. Izaya Orihara, Shizuo Heiwajima, Kyohei Kadota, Walker Yumasaki, Erika Karisawa, Mika Harima, Mikado Ryūgamine, Masaomi Kida, Anri Sonohara,Mairu Orihara, Kururi Orihara, and Vorona all gone over night. And not one person was bothering to look for them except the Headless Rider.

At first Celty thought nothing of it, everyone had a reason to be gone a week or so. But when the week passed and still no word from Shinra or even Shizuo came, Celty knew there was trouble. The unusual hum of daily street life that befell Ikebukuro was eerie yet no one complained. No vending machines had flown and no shouts for a certain informant had been heard. It was too quiet in the city that harbors chaos. This drove the dullahan to her breaking point come Monday of that second week.

So she went off on a thorough search starting with the people that usually caused chaos in the city. Once her list was complete for those that had gone missing she moved onto speaking with those that knew the missing. Everyone brushed her off though, dismissing her accusations completely. Even Tom who was a dedicated friend to Shizuo blew her off, telling her that it was nothing. The dullahan knew at that point something was going wrong in the city.

But what turned into a two day affair became an entire week. It was night now, the skies painted with an inky black. Nine thirty was making a slow crawl and in its new rhythm the city was drop dead boring. Celty sat on her bike going through her PDA on people to try and talk to again. She settled for Shiki, the man who provided her with work. Starting up the bike she sped in and out of traffic silently, the flashing lights making for beautiful scenery. Instead of taking the long way to Shiki's she decided to take the short cut she knew best. It was a path not many took because it intercrossed with the abandoned asylum and Old Coco Joe's Meat Shack that no one ate at for fear of human meat being sold rather than animal.

However upon passing the intersection she felt a cold chill run up her spine causing the bike to come to a screeching halt. Ever so slightly Celty turned her head towards the right to gaze upon the enormous facility that was Ikebukuro Psychiatric Hospital. The moon painted the buildings with a disturbed gray, the buildings appearing like an old diminishing bone. The windows were all bordered up except for one at the top floor of the second building next to it. Rusted gates with 'DO NOT ENTER' signs were the only things that held back this still creature. Celty hugged herself, feeling small and insignificant near the giant shadow of the buildings. 'Something's not right with that place. Shinra told me the story behind this building but could he really be in such a hellish place? Mh. Maybe I should look further into it. Just to be on the safe side.' Celty thought to herself then proceeded to type away her latest idea on her PDA.

Once the thought was down she took a quick glance at Coco Joe's then sped off into the night. Unaware that inside the meat shop stood the person that held captive the dullahan's friends.

Making it to Shiki's in less than ten minutes was nothing. It was talking with the man that was a true struggle. When she arrived Celty had parked her bike and made her way to the condo her 'employer' worked out of. As usual the man was there but for once unaccompanied by anyone. The usual formalities were met, hello how are you and so on and so forth. It was when the topic of Izaya came up that Shiki's expression turned dark.

They were sitting across from each other, a coffee table between them. Shiki was drinking tea and although Celty insisted he didn't brew any for her he did regardless. She typed away on her PDA then presented it to the man across from her. [I'm really sorry for showing up so late at night but I have a few questions regarding Izaya. I know you two are well familiarized with each other and I was wondering if you had heard from him?]

Shiki set the small device down. A disturbed silence encircled them, the welcoming atmosphere between the two changing like the crack of lighting. Celty tensed up and observed the man's every movement down to the twitch in his upper lip. He knew something and he wasn't ready to give it up. Clearing his throat the mob man answered, "No. If anything that, FILTH, has finally decided to take a hike and make my life easier. Maybe if we're lucky he's rotting away somewhere. That'd be some well deserved justice."

Had the dullahan had her head her eyes would have bugged out from the man's words. Gently taking her PDA back she typed at rapid fire round and gave it to Shiki once more. [In all honesty I don't think he deserves that. Yes he is EXTREMELY misguided with a god complex bigger than the galaxy but he does have a good heart deep deep down. Anyways, when was the last time you saw Izaya? Was he well? Did he seem panicked perhaps?]

Again his upper lip twitched. Celty gripped the table and tried her hardest not to wrap her shadows around the man's neck. Like the flip of a coin Shiki began to laugh similar to the mentioned informant. First a gentle laugh then hysterically, like this serious conversation was the greatest joke ever told in all of human existence. And then an abrupt stop, the room feeling as though it had just dropped by a few degrees. Shiki's expression was as dark as night, his eyes told a story of hatred and malice but not for Celty. For someone who had been brought up in the conversation continuously. He tossed the PDA back to Celty and stood, appearing like a demented father about to back hand their child. "Look, Celty, I value you too much as an asset to let you take this any further. Izaya Orihara is somewhere no one would look. He has no one who cares for him. If anything, the only people who would care for him even just a pinch are with him this moment. Now listen to me headless rider, and listen closely. If you go looking for them all you will find are two dead carcasses and a whole lot of blood. One of those carcasses I will gladly own by the end of this coming winter. Celty my dear this is so much bigger than you could ever imagine. So why don't you go back to where you came from and let the adults work. " Shiki finished his speech and glanced back at the dullahan.

Celty flipped the table and let her shadows wrap themselves around the man's body until it appeared as though he were in a body bag. This however didn't frighten him. It only amused him. "If I die so does Shinra. You wouldn't want that now would you?" and like that the shadows backed down. Clety stepped towards the door, enraged by the news she had received. This piece of trash knew were Shinra was, knew were everyone was and continued to toy with her. This was officially Celty's fight to get her friends and put and end to whatever this madness was. "I thought so. Remember Celty, don't go looking. Two dead boys will be more than you could possibly handle, don't make it twelve dead friends and a dead lover." Were Shiki's final words as the dullahan raced to her bike and sped off.

He obviously didn't know her well enough for the dullahan had already begun to deduce were to start her search. And on that list was the very place the group was trapped in. If the headless rider realized that in time, it would be left to the fates.

Shizuo: *Cracks knuckles and knocks Izaya into the next chapter* Review if you want to find out if the flea is alive or not. Emma won't work until she sees reviews.
Emma: I'm sorry this chapter is short but I do have school tomorrow! I would love to thank all those people who read the story and reviewed even though I sorta went dormant for two years! Thank you all my lovely honey badgers!~
