"What's wrong with the one I just picked?" Dani huffed, "It has a cleaning table with it."

"You shouldn't sleep where you crap," Santana said "That's just gross. I will not do that to Logan."

"Logan? Huh, who picked the name," Dani began.

"Ah Quinn and I did," Santana said and continued to look at the cribs.

"I can't believe she abandoned him like that," Dani began, "Claire seemed so excited about the baby at first."

"Did she ever tell you who the father was?" Santana asked.

"Just some guy she met at a party," Dani said, "She never mentioned him."

"Well it doesn't matter now," Santana said.

"Why because you and Quinn want to adopt him?" Dani asked, a bit bitter.

Santana turned to look at her, "Cut it with the attitude."

"Fine, whatever."

"But if you must know, I am the one who's taking custody of him," Santana said, "We're not adopting...at least I don't think so..."

"Why not?" Dani asked, "Is Quinn not open to it? Does she not want to take care of a baby that isn't her's?"

Santana turned and glared at Dani.

"What? It's a serious question," Dani shrugged.

"It's not that, actually I think she kind of wants to. But I don't think we're ready for that," Santana said, "Our relationship is a little too complicated for that right now."

"Trouble in the paradise? A few months in?"

"No...I just don't think we're ready," Santana said, "I mean maybe...I don't know."

"Well could you hurry up and pick the crib? Your wife gave you an awful big list!" Dani said.

"Okay, okay."

"He is just the cutest," Quinn said, "Last night he was an angel, he didnt even cry."

"He seems like a calm one," Carol agreed, "What did the doctor say this morning?"

Early this morning before Santana had left, Quinn and her had been able to take little Logan to the pediatric.

"Well lucky the doctor said everything was fine," Quinn said, "He is one healthy baby boy."

"You seem very taken with him," Carole commented.

"He's the cutest," Quinn smiled, "How could I not?"

Carole chuckled, "So what's going on with the whole legal issue with this little guy?"

"Well for now I know Santana has taken legal guardianship of him, I don't know if i share it though," Quinn explained, "We both don't want him to end up in an orphanage or a foster home, so for now we're just waiting for a nice family to come along."

"Have you guys thought about adopting him?" Carole asked.

"Um..." Quinn tried to figure out what to say.

"This morning when all three of you were together you guys looked like a real family," Carole smiled.

"We just think it's not the right time...this whole marriage thing is new to us and we don't want to rush anything," Quinn explained.

"Oh sweetie that's just nonsense," Carole began, "The way Santana looks at you, one could tell from miles that she loves and wants a family with you."

A small smile couldn't help but spread against Quinn's lips, "Really?"

"This is coming from a woman who practically raised Santana," Carole said.

"You bought so much stuff Santana. You literally had to call another worker to bring another Tundra so we could get everything home."

"I didn't want him to be missing anything."

Both Carole and Quinn turned their heads towards the hall ay where Santana and Dani were coming in. Not far behind them where several workers carrying everything Santana had bought.

"You're home," Quinn smiled as she stood up with Logan in her arms.

"Just for a bit sweets," Santana smiled and walked over to Quinn. She gave her a quick peck.

"You have to go to work today at the company don't you?" Quinn asked.

"Yes, but I promise I will be back early today," Santana smiled, "Before dinner even."

"Okay," Quinn smiled.

"Well I'm leaving now so...I'll see you tonight?" Santana asked with a small smile.

Quinn nodded happily.

Santana smiled and leaned in pressing her lips against Quinn's. It was soft and long, just like Quinn liked them.

"See you tonight then," Santana smiled.

"Wait! Kiss Logan goodbye too," Quinn exclaimed.

Santana chuckled and leaned down and kissed the baby boy's forehead.

"See you both tonight," Santana smiled.

.

"So where exactly does your wife think you are right now?"

"At the company, working," Santana said carelessly as looked around the room.

"Are you sure she doesn't know about this?"

"Yup," Santana nodded, "So where does your wife think you are right now?"

"Judy thinks I'm meeting up with an old friend for coffee," Russell explained.

So Santana had lied to Quinn. She was actually meeting up with Russell, he was supposed to get an MRI. Rachel had managed to convince the doctor to fly out here to California. He flew in this morning, honestly Rachel was gold, she managed to get on him on a plane before 10 o'clock at night...though it might have had something to do with the money offered. Anyway the doctor requested a new MRI to see how bad the cancer had spread and what could be done to it.

The door opened and the doctor entered the room with some scans in hand.

"Hello I'm Dr. Winston. You must be Santana Lopez," The Doctor said as he shook Santana's hand.

"Nice to meet you," Santana nodded.

"And you must be Russell Fabray," The Doctor acknowledge, "The patient."

"Yes sir, the patient who is here reluctantly," Russell chuckled.

The doctor laughed

"He's joking," Santana said.

"I'm really not," Russell butted in.

The doctor raised an eyebrow.

"He really is," Santana said, "So what did the MRI say?"

Dr. Winston cleared his throat, "Well," he began and put the scans on the X-ray, while turning on the light, "As stated before by Russell's previous Doctor the cancer has spread. Now I have some good news and some bad news...bad news is the cancer has spread since the last MRI, it's most in his right arm, an right region."

"That was to be expected," Russell sigh reluctantly.

"Well what's the good news?" Santana asked, "And please tell it's really good!"

"There is this new medical trail," Dr. Winston began, "There have been several cases that have turn out successful. I could attempt and put Mr. Fabray on the waiting. It is somewhat of a long waiting list though."

"How long would he have to wait?" Santana asked.

"Well that all depends," Dr. Winston said, "On how much money your willing to put into the project."

"Money is not an issue for me doctor, you know that," Santana said firmly.

"Santana don't," Russell said.

Dr. Winston took a deep breathe, "You have to understand that the trail might not be successful. There are serious, the treatment is aggressive."

"Do what you have to do," Santana said.

Dr. Winston nodded, "Very well then."

Russell waited until the doctor left the room and the door was shut until he decided to speak.

"Santana I thought I told you that I didn't want any treatments," Russell said, "I want mind to be all the way here."

"Russell this could be your chance," Santana said, "You have to take it."

"I don't know," Russell sighed.

"Do it for Quinn and Judy," Santana said.

Before Russell could answer Santana's phone beeped several times.

"Speaking of your daughter," Santana said as she saw the text on her phone.

She opened the text, it was actually a picture message, it was of Logan and Quinn. Quinn had Logan at eye level, so there eyes would be at the same height, she had a radiant smile, while Logan had his lips slightly puckered.

Santana smiled, this picture was really cute, she saved it on her phone.

"Sorry," Santana chuckled, "It's just a picture of Quinn and Logan."

"Who's Logan?" Russell asked.

Santana let out a sigh, she wasn't really sure how she would approach this. Obviously Russell was going to find out about Logan when they had their lunch but she was kind of hoping that Quinn would tell her parents.

"Well..."

Santana began to explain Russell how Logan came to them yesterday. She even showed him the picture Quinn had sent her.

"I want to meet him," Russell chuckled at the picture.

"Well you have to wait till our lunch date," Santana said, "And even then Quinn can't know that you knew about him already because then she will ask how and she'll know about this doctors appointment."

Russell groaned in protest, "Well are you guys going to adopt him at least?"

"What do you mean at least?" Santana frowned.

"Well all I'm saying is that you did say you'd talk to Quinn about having kids soon. Look I might not have 9 mines or whatever time,"Russell shrugged, "I don't about you but I wouldn't say no to my dying father in law."

"That's manipulating," Santana pointed out.

"Yeah well a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do," Russell shrugged.

.

..

.

"Quinn he's crying," Santana groaned as she stirred in bed.

"I know," Quinn rolled her eyes as she gently cradled Logan.

It was 3:05 am and Logan had been crying for a straight hour. Quinn had actually been up with him this whole time trying to put him to sleep but he wouldn't budge.

"Seriously Quinn, I need to be up early tomorrow," Santana groaned.

"Well then help me," Quinn rolled her eyes I need to go warm up his bottle.

Santana groaned once again and made her way out of bed. She made her way towards Quinn and the crying baby. When Santana took a look at Quinn she realized how exhausted she looked. She couldn't help but feel bad because she hadnt really helped at all

"Here, let me take him," Santana said, "Go warm up the milk.

Quinn didn't question her one bit. She gave Logan to Santana carefully. And then grabbed the bottle and headed out of the room.

Santana cradled the crying child in her arms.

"Come on kid don't cry on me," Santana said softly.

She began to hum as she rocked him gently.

"You have to let me sleep baby boy," Santana whispered.

As she continued to rock him, he's cries slowly began to die down. Santana smiled in satisfaction and continued to hum. His cries were now softly sobs, she couldn't help but find him so adorable.

"Not so bad now," Santana smirked and she leaned down, softly pressing her lips against his forehead.

Santana chuckled and it wasn't long before Quinn returned with the bottle of warm milk for Logan.

"Get some sleep," Santana said, "I'll feed him."

"San you have work early tomorrow," Quinn said as she sleepily nuzzled her face into Santana's shoulder.

"I'll be fine," Santana said as she feed Logan the bottle, "You on the other hand look like you are about to pass out so go sleep."

Quinn was about to protest but stopped herself, she was really tired, however she was still hesitant.

"Go babe," Santana insisted.

"Kay," Quinn mumbled and pecked Santana's lips before hopping on the bed.

Santana smiled, this was starting to become a habit of Quinn's, recently she would just kiss her whenever she felt like it. She wasn't shy about it anymore.

Santana looked at the calm baby in her arms, he was now completely quite and drinking his bottle. Her eyes were fixed on him for a moment before she looked back at Quinn, who was sprawled across the bed clinging onto Santana's pillow. These past couple of days Quinn had literally been so caring and loving to Logan. She gave him his baths and feed him. She had taken a lot of tips from Carole. Santana had decided to just watch instead, the scenes before her were so cute and adorable. Quinn was just so natural with him.

"Maybe," Santana whispered to Logan, "Maybe just maybe we can become a family."

..

..

.

.

"Ya'll look just like a family to me," Judy gushed as she starred at the married couple with the baby.

"Mom," Quinn began.

"Thank you," Santana said politely.

"So when are you guys adopting him?" Russell asked with a smirk.

Today was the day Quinn's parents finally met Logan. They had decided to tell them about Logan's situation at their little brunch date. Russell of course already knew but Quinn was unaware of that. Judy and Russell had cuddle and cooed the baby so much, that is until he had to be fed. Santana happily took care of that, at the moment she had Logan in her arms and was feeding him his bottle of formula.

"Dad this whole marriage thing is still new to us," Quinn began, "We don't want to rush into anything."

"Rush into anything?" Russell raised an eyebrow, "You both are gonna spend the rest of your life's with each other, you're gonna have kids so why not now? If I didn't know any better I'd think you two barely started dating."

Santana let out a chuckle.

Awkward.

"Dad," Quinn began.

"I'm just saying," Russell shrugged, "Santana don't you agree?"

Quinn zoned her dad out after that. Both Santana and her dad as well as her mom continued to discuss marriage and future and kids. Quinn found it so strange for Santana to be giving an input in that conversation because they weren't even really together. Come to think of it Quinn didn't even know what they were.

Technically they were married, but they weren't really together. Quinn had feelings for Santana but she still had strong feelings for Biff.

"I'll be right back," Quinn announced, "I am gonna go use the rest room."

"Do you want me to come with you?" Judy offered.

"No thanks mom," Quinn said, "I'll be quick."

"Well in that case Santana will you allow me to hold Logan?" Judy smiled.

"Sure."

Quinn stood up and made her way to the rest room. As she reached the rest room she realized it was slightly full. So she made her way over to a stool by the bar and decided to give it a minute.

She had been waiting for a few minutes when something strange happened.

"Ma'am here is your drink," A waiter said as he set a drink in front of Quinn.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't order that," Quinn said politely.

"I know, I did."

Quinn's heart completely stopped.

"When I saw you come in my heart stopped too and I was just waiting and itching to get a moment with you alone."

Quinn turned around and faced Biff, she was feeling so many emotions.

"God you look beautiful," Biff said sadly.

"Biff."

He let out a smile at the sound of her voice and gently cupped her cheek, "I've missed you so much."

Quinn pulled away, but grabbed his hand and dragged him to the nearest empty hallway.

"Santana is here with me," Quinn hissed.

"I know," Biff groaned, "It angers me how she touches you!"

"Biff I'm her wife."

"But you're the love of my life and it kills me to see you with her," Biff said angrily, "I love you Quinn."

"I'm with Santana now," Quinn said sadly.

"But you love me I know it."

"Biff," Quinn began.

"I know it," Biff said once more before unexpectedly pulling Quinn in for a kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately.

Quinn was so shocked she froze. She didn't know what to do.

Biff finally pulled away, "I know it."

"You need to go," Quinn whispered.

Biff clenched his jaw, "I'll find a way to get you out of this."

"Go!" Quinn almost hissed.

Biff kissed her forehead, "I love you."

Quinn said nothing, she just watched him go.

"What have I done," She muttered.

If Santana ever found out about this she would be so hurt.

She can't hurt Santana. She can't know.
