So this one was hard to write... But it's getting close to end! Enjoy and review please!
"Are you looking for her?" The man called out.
"Where did you take them!?" Beast Boy demanded.
"Child, I only took one of them. You drove the other away."
"No! How do you even know that?"
"I see things, Beast Boy. All of you drove her away. You neglected her when she needed help. She left, and it's your teams fault. Much like Raven's absence is Robin's fault."
"No! You're wrong!" "Stay focused when you talk to Slade. He'll try to get inside of your head. You have to ignore him." These were the words from Cyborg in Beast Boy's head. He told Beast Boy this as they left the tower.
"Am I? Who caused Starfire's pain? Who made Raven his number one person in the world? He put her ahead of all of you. Would he be doing this for you? Face it, you're team is falling apart. You're all to blame, some more than others. It's over."
"NO!" He yelled... But the voice in the shadows was gone.
"Beast Boy to Robin! Come in!"
"What do you need?"
"I talked to Slade..."
"I know. We all did. Meet us at the tower. Robin out."
He closed his communicator and just stared at it for a few moments. "What would he do if I was missing? I mean, I think they'd look this hard... I think..." He thought to himself as he began to make his way back to the tower.
Starfire was walking in the wooded area of Jump. (The one in "Haunted") when she eventually sat down by a tree.
"None of them have come to look for you. Slade was right. My friends are not friends. They do not care. We are not friends... we are not a team... we are not the Titans anymore... we are nothing. There is no one here. I am all alone again... just like Slade said I would be. They only care for frie-Raven..." She then began to tremble in the rain next to the tree.
The Titans were exhausted. Searching for Raven and now Starfire had taken both physical and emotional tolls on all the Titans. The words of Slade had even greater emotional impact for the Titans.
Cyborg was growing impatient, while still trying to hold the team, or what is left of it, together. But it was becoming increasingly hard for him to do so. He wanted so desperately to find his friends and give Slade what he deserved.
Beast Boy is confused and distraught in every way. He greatly misses the teasing and crass remarks from Raven, and Starfire's absence had an even greater impact on him than he thought it ever would.
Robin was slowly going insane. He often came unhinged when it came to Slade. But now that two people he cared deeply for were gone, he was on the brink of insanity. Slowly becoming more and more unstable with each passing day. He was not eating or sleeping much, none of them were, and it was taking its toll on the Titans.
"What are we doing wrong?" Robin quietly said to himself sitting at his desk. "There has to be a reason we haven't found anything yet."
He went into the common room to get a glass of water and make himself a sandwich.
"Come up with anymore brilliant ideas?" Beast Boy asked.
"Excuse me?"
"you heard what I said. Or did your ego get in the way?"
"Do you have a problem with me?"
"Yeah, I do. This whole thing is your fault."
"How is this my fault!?"
"HEY!" Cyborg yelled. "Fighting wit each other isn't going to bring either of them back! It's not any of our faults! We need to come up with a plan to get them back! not act like little kids."
"Eat." Slade said as he gave a plate of food and a glass of water to Raven.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked.
"You'll find out soon enough, dear child."
"Afraid I'll ruin your plan?"
"Not in the slightest. I want to see the horror that takes over you and what's left of your team when you realize what will happen."
"So you want them to find you?"
"I know they will. And they'll walk into a trap. And it's all your fault."
"How-"
"Don't pretend you don't know. If you didn't choose to feel, this wouldn't be happening. And you know it. You're the reason your team will die. Enjoy your meal."
Given that Raven had not been able to mediate in capture, her mental state was already disastrous, and Slades words began to get to her as well.
The three remaining Titans were at the towe attempting to devise a plan to get their friends back.
"slide kept saying he didn't take Star. Maybe he's telling the truth." Cyborg said.
"If he his, then where is she? Why would she leave?" Beast Boy said.
"he said he had eyes on us... When he attacked us, it's possible he put hidden cameras on us. That's how he knew Star left, and that Raven..." Robin paused.
"Yeah... So how do we get him?" Cyborg said.
"we wait. He'll come out, and when he does, we strike as hard as we can. Until then, we find those camera, then look for Star. Titans, go!"
After the Titans found, and destroyed the cameras, they went out to look for their missing alien friend.
"ah, they finally caught on. Unfortunately for them, it's too late." Slade said.
"What are you talking about?" Raven said puzzled.
"Dear child, how do you think I found out about you and Robin? It was easy to plant hidden cameras in things you'd take back to the tower. You all were completely clueless."
"they found out. They'll stop you."
"How? They can't even get along. Your red headed friend left your team. It's only a matter of time until I end what's left of it."
"What did you do to Starfire!?"
"I didn't di anything. Your friends neglect ruined her. All because of you."
At these words Raven felt a tear run down her face.
"Get up, child, it's almost time."
Clifhanger! More to come in the next chapter! Let me know what you think!
