A/N: I only got four reviews, but they were all so nice and I also received a whole bunch of favs/follows that I decided not to be mean and wait until I reached my desired number of reviews. This chapter is just the dinner/present scene from Annabeth's point of view, so it will be very short
I hope you enjoy!

Annabeth's heart skipped a beat when Percy's words registered and suddenly she was afraid. Afraid that this was the end, afraid of screwing something up. She just nodded for him to continue and continue he did.
"You've made the past five years the best of my life and when you agreed to become my girlfriend I couldn't believe how lucky I was," she was waiting for the 'but its over' little did she know it would never come. "I have you, Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. The most beautiful and brilliant person in the world. And you're my girlfriend." Annabeth looked, at him confused, but he was looking at their hands. She had become so transfixed on the idea of them breaking up, she couldn't see the obvious solution to what was going on. He pulled the masks from the ball from his pocket. She was sure she had left it on Olympus. "You know, at first I didn't understand why Aphrodite gave me the owl mask and you the wave when everyone was wearing a mask that corresponded with their parent, but I get it now." She looked forward to his explanation because she had wondered that too. His explanation was short and sweet. It brought tears to her eyes and they streamed down her face. "It's because what ever is yours is mine, what ever is mine is yours and from here on out everything is ours." Annabeth finally understood what he was saying. When she looked into his eyes she saw nervousness, courage and most prominently, love. "And what I'm trying to say is; I love you Annabeth, with all of my heart." Annabeth stood, and as soon as Percy was standing too, she flew into his arms. Pressing a long, sweet and hard kiss to his lips she murmured,
"I love you too seaweed brain," all the while thinking, I was wrong and for the first time I'm glad I was. When she pulled away she was breathless and elated.
Music starting pouring from the trees, startling her for a moment until she realized it was all part of Percy's plan. When Percy asked to dance she couldn't help but reply with, "And every dance after this one." They danced with no separation. For once Annabeth's mind was content to not analyze every detail and to just sway to the music with the love of her life.
When the music stopped and Percy told her the black box she was given was one of two presents she felt very guilty that she didn't get him anything. Opening it slowly, she gasped. In her hand was the most beautiful necklace she had ever seen; a silver owl was holding a trident made from emerald, that was the exact shade of Percy's eyes after their underwater kiss, and in the center of the owl was a stone that was so beautiful he could have only found it in the ocean.
"Oh Percy. It's beautiful," she breathed. Percy clasped the necklace around her neck where it rested comfortably just below the hollow of her throat. She couldn't help but pull him into a tight hug and he whispered in her ear,
"There's still one more gift."
"Percy no. You already got me this beautiful necklace and I didn't get you-" her argument was cut off when Percy kissed her, honestly that was her favorite way Percy shut her up.
"Just being here with you is present enough. Now close your eyes and hold out your left hand." She did as he commanded, anxious to see what he got her. She felt something slide onto her left ring finger and when she looked at her new ring she was speechless.
"Percy…what…how?" She stuttered, gracelessly. She heard him chuckle at her articulate response.
"It's a promise ring," he began to explain and she couldn't look away from the ring. "To signify that I promise to be only yours. To be there when you need me. To be, not only your boyfriend, but your best friend and many other things. Annabeth, please look at me," she heard him say softly as he tilted her head so their eyes met. She saw so much love and happiness in her eyes it made her think that maybe she had found the permanence she longed for in Percy. "I promise to always love you," he finished, confirming her thought about him being permanent. She was so overjoyed that tears of happiness streaked her face and when Percy wiped them away she couldn't imagine being with anyone else. He kissed her passionately and she responded with just as much emotion. She could taste the ocean on his lips and to her it felt like home.
They pulled apart, breathless. As they lay on a blanket looking up at the stars that shone brighter than every before she couldn't help, but think that Percy asked Artemis to make them especially bright, just for her. Per usual though her brain had to ruin it for her and remind her of the girl she had seen Percy with.
"You said you were going to explain everything that had happened at the solstice," she said quietly, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"Katrina is the one who drew the ring. She works at the jewelry store at the mall and it so happens that she is Jake Mason's girlfriend. What you saw at the solstice was that she accidentally backed into me and I caught her," he explained, making Annabeth feel like a fool for ever thinking there was something going on between the two of them. "Now I have a question for you. Why did you avoid me, even before the solstice?" She dreaded answering, for fear he would laugh at her. He answered her question truthfully, so she could only do the same.
"I thought you were going to brake up with me," she admitted. He pulled her closer, and she rested her head on his chest.
"I'm going to be here for a very long time," he whispered. "Whether you like it or not, I'm not going anywhere." Just like that he put all of her insecurities to rest and her love for him grew tenfold. As they lay there stargazing they both thought the same thing. Best Christmas Ever.
A/N: I'm sorry to say, but this is the end of A Percy and Annabeth Christmas. I am still on the fence about writing an epilogue, but a few reviews may sway my decision.
As always, review and tell me what you think or point out any mistakes.
State in your review whether or not you want an epilogue and give me a convincing reason why I should write one or not write one.
