Ok, I was playing Skyrim, and everytime I talked to a person in town, the voice of my character kept sounding so freaking sarcastic and pissed us at the world in my mind. So, I'm writing them down before I forget them.
For the record, I don't mean queen as in a royal. (If I ever do, I'll capitalize it.) In her case, I mean queen as in a female cat.
Disclaimer: I thought I owned Skyrim once. Then I took an- no, I can't do it! It's too overused! Also, I may mention a few mods, so I don't own those either.
Warning: Salty Language.
21. Midnight
The perfect time to divine her next move: Should she risk killing the boy here in the city, or should she wait and follow him farther into the wilds and towards another of the towns?
"Girl! What is a flea-bitten cur like you doing within Whiterun?"
Screw it! He dies now. "I've come for your death, little man."
22. Confessions
Ok, so she was basically a large cat. Cat's love fish, and she was no exception. She grinned widely as she pulled in her net, salmon wriggling in the leather cords. Smaller fish, ones good for potions, were putting up a good fight as well, but that just made her want to eat them even more. Forget the cooking pot, salmon's even better raw!
23. Crush
The Mammoth teetered, trying to stay on massive feet, only to slowly fall over, trunk arching gracefully in the air, arrows peppering the tough hide.
SMOOSH!
Kat'arina flinched, ears pinning back against her helmet. Well, that Skeever wasn't going to bother anyone now.
24. Chocolate
She had declared that she and her family had never traded in Skooma or Moon Sugar. That didn't mean they didn't have other luxuries. That last piece of pilfered chocolate melting on her tongue was like suddenly being surrounded by family again.
25. Alone
Boethiah had only issued the declaration a few minutes before, but the clearing was quiet now, and she was alone. Benor's body was still draped over the alter of sacrifice, the poor man. He'd only been interested in a little adventure, but then he'd touched the post, and the only way to get him down, was to kill him.
A breeze blew through, taking away the scent of fresh blood, and the queen could only look up into the stars, Ebony Sword slipping from her paws.
26. Rain
The small herd in front of her were huddling together to keep warm, the rain slicking down what used to be fluffy coats. She couldn't blame them as she huddled under a pine tree, ears flicked down in annoyance at the cold and wet.
27. Letters
"Let's see, you've got a letter, and a bit of gold. An inheritance! Oh, sorry for your loss."
The young queen held back a flinch, accepting the letter even as she wondered who had died this time. Belethor? Lydia? Little Tim, the toy maker's son! Or maybe the talking grapef-
'Too many Daedra have been poking around in my mind,' she thought desperately.
28. Cold
Meridia's temple was cold, but the voice of the Aedra was even colder as she hoisted the Khajit into the air. This didn't stop her from squirming in fright, until she looked down, and saw all of Skyrim laid out before her. "LET ME DOWN! NOW!"
29. Dark
It was like kitten games. Stay in the shadows, cause the light is fire! Or don't touch the floor cause it's molten rock. Only in this case, the light would burn her, so it was on graceful paws that the Khajit slunk her way through the sanctuary.
30. Addiction
She couldn't help the giggle as she pulled the crossbow string back, sliding a new bolt in just as quickly. These new exploding fire bolts were too much fun to be legal!
'Ooo! Another Draugr.' Can we say bye to the Draugr? That's what we thought. I think we found our new favorite weapon.
