Chapter 8: Her Smile
"Baka! That means you're in love with her." Sasuke flicks my forehead.
"What? No way! I love Sakura..." They just stare at me making me uncomfortable.
"Are you sure about that?" Shikamaru mutters.
"I don't know... I'm not sure what I'm feeling everything is just so confusing." I scratch the back of my head.
"Just think it over." Sasuke takes a sip of his drink.
"This is so confusing. Argh! You guys got me all confused." I whine. They laugh at me and we continue talk and laugh for hours until we realized it was late. We parted ways and I walked around the village trying to get my thoughts straight. Since Hinata arrived my mind has been in chaos trying to understand what I am feeling. It's so frustrating not knowing what to do in this situation. Still deep in thought I make my way to my apartment not noticing someone walk up to me until that person spoke.
"Naruto-kun." I turn to see who said my name.
"Hinata-chan..." she smiles at me causing my heart to skip a beat.
"I'm sorry for leaving this morning without saying anything." she looks at me with her innocent lavender colored eyes. "I just didn't want to wake you up. You looked so peaceful when you were sleeping, so I decided not to wake you up."
"It's okay Hinata-chan. You should have woken me up." I smile at her. "I wanted to have breakfast with you." I notice a small pink blush make its way to her pale cheeks. She is so adorable, she hasn't changed a bit.
"I'm sorry Naruto. I had a meeting with my father and I couldn't be late." she glances at her watch. "Umm... have you eaten dinner?" she asks.
"No, I haven't. How about you?" I ask her.
"Me neither. How about we go to Ichiraku? I'm craving some ramen. What do you say?" I smile at her and nod.
"You know I never turn down an invitation to Ichiraku." she laughs making me smile at her. I love hearing her laugh.
"I know you don't." she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Well... we should get going." she nods and we make our way to Ichiraku.
Shall I continue? Or should I delete this story?
