Merlin chose that moment to strike. Katie attempted to pass to Holly but Merlin used an unnoticeable bit of magic to push the ball on a slightly different path. Holly lunged for it nevertheless, but she missed by a fraction of an inch and it dropped quote coincidentally into the waiting hands of Arthur. In turn, he threw the ball to Merlin who tripped Becca in her attempt to intercept, using magic of course, and swiftly passed the ball to Percival. Becca ran back to the 'D' to assist Emma but no matter how much jumping and flapping, and generally trying to make Percival miss, they did, it came down to one simple factor. They weren't quite tall enough. So Percival shot and the ball rolled around the rim of the net, looking for a second like it would fall into the waiting hands of the defenders, before Gwaine kicked the post, causing the ball to fall through the net.

The knight cheered, the girls groaned, Katie swore and Emma nearly slapped Gwaine. The knights had increased their score to a still very pitiful two. Against the girls fourteen successful shots it would still not warrant anything near a dignified defeat, but it was getting closer. Little did the knights know however, that their previous point would be the last they would ever receive. A quick look shared between the girls would be the end of any chance the knights may have had. That was it. No more going easy. The smirks that appeared on the girls faces was enough to leave their opposition quaking in their boots. Arthur took the centre pass, and threw the ball to Merlin, but the ball was intercepted by a jump from Becca, who twisted in mid-air before landing and swiftly passing to Holly who pivoted neatly around Elyan, throwing to Lili who immediately scored.

Emma, the only one who hadn't been part of the marvelous attack plan looked at Gwaine, crossed her arms and said one simple word as smugly as she could manage:

"Ha!"

When asked about it at a later date, all of the girls would have recounted that it looked as of the knights eyes were about to fall out of their sockets. They were showing their all, giving it everything they had. Katie had centre and threw to Holly who was tackled by Elyan, leaving the ball to Lancelot. He threw far up the court to Merlin who passed to Gwaine, but was intercepted by Emma pulling off a back flip over his head, grabbing the oncoming ball in the process. She passed to Becca who abandoned all formalities, and lobbed it to Lili, who barely caught it after dodging round Leon. She pivoted, threw over the defending knights head and scored.

Katie sauntered up to the opposing centre

"You ready to give up yet?" It was true that time was running out and the girls were pulling further ahead every second. And as the girls score increased, so did the despair among the knights. Holly took a softer tone.

"We chose this game because we knew you wouldn't win. Your determination is admirable but what I am asking is: do you know when to give up?" Arthur looked around the court. The girls' hyperactive demeanour was gone. The smirks replaced by gentle smiles. Confusion was evident among the knights.

"We don't know why we're here, but for now, we'll settle with this," added Lili, "playing a game to see where your hearts lie."

Becca came forward. "Would you sentences a group of girls to death because of your pride?" She addressed all of the knights "You know we're innocent." Nods from the knights were all that Arthur needed. He raised his hand in the air and the crowd fell silent. His father looked on in anger and worry.

"We concede."
