Notice 1: I'm really sorry for not updating for so long! A lot was going on for me with all the holidays and what-not. Right now I actually have this nasty lung infection. Not to gross anyone out, but I cough so much at night that I make myself throw up, sometimes up to six times. It's pretty gross. I didn't go to school yesterday, and today I had off, so I was home for two days. I just got my computer last Saturday, so I will be posting more often (hopefully). I've spent the last few days downloading music and playing World of Warcraft. I hadn't been able to play it for three months, since my dad's computer is awful for gaming, so I was really excited to play again. I wouldn't say I'm bored with it, but I got it out of my system, so I won't be fully engrossed in the game.

Notice 2: Hello readers :) I'm posting this notice on all of my stories, so, if you already read this on a different story of mine, you can just skip this paragraph. As you have probably heard, I was going to build a computer. It is amazing for me to say that it's finished! I know have my own computer in my room that I can write with whenever I please and as late as I please, which is really convenient. Before, I had to write on my phone. My dad has a computer in the dining room, but my family doesn't know I write; I'm uncomfortable with the idea of them knowing. The point is that I can write more! I made a folder on my computer for FanFiction. I put all the chapters and notes I had on my FanFiction account and my phone into folders according to the story. Then I went through all of my messages on here to sort them. I made a list of all the requests I have gotten for stories and wrote a list of everyone who wants to help out with my novel, which I am still accepting help for. (Even having readers are helpful. Not everyone has to help edit.) I do have a plan for the future with my writing. I would like to write quite a lot of chapters in advance for all my stories, including the sequel for Perfect for You which I will then write. Then I'll take some time to do all the requests I have gotten for stories. And after that long process, I can finally begin my novel. Anyways, I hope you will all be patient and supportive through this adventure of mine. I really enjoy writing for you all, so I hope you will all stick around to see everything I have planned. I love you all! *hugs*

A/N: There's a bit of drama at the end of this and a sweet middle to make up for that :) I hope you all enjoy!

Next to Update: Let's Play a Game

Please review and support my other stories!

"I just can't get over how great this place is," Levy said, sighing in content. She and Lucy were both taking a bath in the spa found inside the mansion. They had music playing and bubbles floating everywhere from using too much soap.

"This is a great way to start out your morning," Lucy said. She was feeling just as relaxed. She was still bothered, though. Gray and Levy have been with her for three days now, and Rogue hasn't came to see her since. He had her cell phone number, so he could easily contact her, but he hadn't. She really wanted to know why.

"So do you really like that Rogue guy?" Levy asked. She could tell the events from the other day were still bothering the blonde.

Lucy sighed and sank into the water farther. "It's like one of those cliche summer romances. You have your fun, then when summer ends you part ways. That's what it feels like to me, at least. We hang out all the time and he even came to a party with me the other day, but I don't think he's into me. I've been dropping so many hints. I mean, I invited him as my date to an important party for my dad's company. And-" She stopped talking and blushed.

Levy grinned slyly. "Oh, I like where this is going. Continue."

"Well during the party I was pretty tired, so I wanted to leave. We went up to my room to sleep. I convinced him to spend the night." She blushed more because of Levy's face. "No! Nothing like that happened!" She sighed. "I just took off my dress. I was trying to see if I could get a reaction out of him. He just blushed. I figured he would kiss me or something, but no! I figured it would be awkward since my plan didn't work, so I told him to undress so Virgo could wash his suit. So he did and we went to sleep in our underwear. It turned out less embarrassing than him knowing my plan."

Levy nodded in understanding. "Do you think he's attractive?" She thought Sting was better looking by far, Gray better yet, but it seemed Lucy preferred Rogue for some reason.

"I think he is," Lucy mumbled. She got out of the water and wrapped her towel around herself. "Hey, let's go shopping. We haven't done that at all since you've been here."

Levy wasn't too happy about Lucy changing the conversation like that, but she did like the idea of shopping. Clover did have a lot of bookstores, so she was excited to check those out.

Levy changed into an orange sundress, while Lucy opted for a short black skirt and a red tank top. Loke and Gray were playing video games, so they wouldn't even notice that the girls left.

When the girls got to town, Levy said the should go eat somewhere before shopping, since neither had eaten breakfast. Without even thinking, Lucy led them to the Shadow Cafe. Going there was just a habit as of late.

"Morning, Lucy," Bisca said with a smile, seeing Lucy enter the cafe. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"Yeah, I'm glad to see you're feeling better," Lucy said, returning the smile. She leaned up against the counter, looking up at the menu. "You know, I've never eaten real food here. I've always had desserts. What do you recommend?"

"Going to another place to eat," Bisca laughed. "Zeref isn't that great at cooking. Baking, yes, but not cooking."

Lucy shook her head and laughed. She looked around, seeing if Rogue was there. It would be nice to be able to sit with him. Levy seemed interested in getting to know him, so everyone wins.

"Oh yeah, Rogue is cooking today. How could I forget? Zeref had to go to a meeting for football, since practice will start soon and he's thinking about coaching," Bisca said. She went over and pushed open the door to the back, letting Lucy and Levy see.

Rogue was working at the island, frosting a cake. He had a black apron on, his hair tied up. Seeing that made Lucy blush. His bangs were still framing his face, so she still couldn't see the right side of his face, but he did look surprisingly attractive with his hair like that. He noticed the door was open and looked up. He had a small spot of chocolate on his left cheek, making the girls laugh.

"Bisca, what are you doing?" Rogue asked, blushing slightly. He didn't exactly like that Lucy saw him baking, since he thought having his hair up as wearing an apron was embarrassing.

"I was just showing them that you were cooking," Bisca explained herself. "There's no need to get your panties in a twist. Geez." She let the door swing closed. "Anyways, it's safe to order normal food."

"Hmmm, I want the pancakes," Levy said. "With toast and bacon." Bisca seemed surprised at all the food she ordered. Even though Levy was small, she ate a lot.

"I don't know what I want," Lucy said, looking over the menu. Honestly, she couldn't even name one thing she read. She was too busy thinking about the fact that Rogue would be cooking for her and how amazing he looked. She was in such a daze she blurted out, "Toast."

Levy and Lucy talked about all the stores they were going to stop at while they waited for their food. About ten minutes later, Rogue came with their orders. He set down a plate with toast, a chocolate muffin, and strawberries in front of Lucy, along with her usual hot chocolate. Levy had ordered coffee, so he gave her that, as well.

Lucy blushed because of her food. She thought that was sweet the he didn't just go along with her stupid order. "How did you know I liked strawberries?" she asked. She didn't remember ever telling him that.

"Remember that time I bought you a strawberry milkshake? You said it was your favorite," Rogue said as passively as ever. He set a plate of frosted bread on their table before going back to the kitchen.

"Awe!" Levy squeezed. "That's so sweet how he paid attention to such a small thing like that!" She puffed out her cheeks. "He could had at least showed some expression, though."

Lucy took a bite of her muffin. Her face lit up. It was the best she's ever eaten. "He's pretty stoic. It's rare to see him show emotion."

"Oh you know that isn't true," Bisca said, pulling up a chair at their table. "I see him smile around you all the time. When you aren't around he's like that. I've known him for four years, and I've never seen him smile until this summer."

Lucy blushed. Levy had hearts in her eyes.

X

Lucy sighed as she walked along the streets, kicking a rock as she went. She just had to say goodbye to Levy and Gray, since they needed to get home. She, herself, would be going home the next day. She really wanted to see Rogue again.

Her prayers being answered, she found herself outside of Rogue's house. She wasn't sure if she knew where he lived, and it seemed like she remembered. Walking up the front steps slowly, she knocked twice on the door.

A little boy answered the door. He had messy black hair and curious eyes. She smiled nicely and bent down to his level. "Hello," she said sweetly. "Is your brother home?"

The little boy was silent for a moment. Then his eyes started to water. "Mom!" he cried, rubbing his eyes with his little hands. Lucy stared in shock. A shorter woman with long blonde hair came running over to see what was wrong. She was surprised to see Lucy. "Hello, what can I do for you?" She was wondering what such an attractive young girl was doing at her house.

Lucy cleared her throat. "I was just looking for Rogue?" It was more of a question than a statement. She wasn't really sure what to think. Quite honestly the young boy scared her.

The woman seemed a bit skeptical as if not believing Lucy's story. "Please, come in." She shut the door behind the blonde. "Romeo, will you go get your brother?" The little boy scampered off. "Excuse me, I need to go start dinner," the woman said, running off, as well.

Lucy waited awkwardly for a few moments. Soon enough, Romeo came back with Zeref. "Oh, um, I was looking for Rogue," she stuttered, sort of embarrassed about seeing Zeref again.

Zeref laughed. "Romeo just said a girl was here." To pointed to the stairway behind him. "Rogue is upstairs giving Asuka a bath. You can go on up."

Lucy nodded and walked past him. She went up the old steps that creaked under her weight. She came upon an open space with a few toys laying around. A few doors were closed, but one she could see light coming out of. She went to it and knocked.

"Stay still!" she heard from inside. It sounded like Rogue, but she's never heard him raise his voice. She heard splashing and some laughter. She knocked again. "Yeah, come in!"

The bathroom was rather large. The shower was separate from the large bathtub, which someone was kneeling in front of. She was at just the right angle too see a little girl with black hair splashing in the water.

Lucy blushed scarlet when she realized that it was Rogue giving the girl a bath. His hair was damp, his shirt abandoned on the floor, his pants just an old pair of gym shorts. Small beads of water were dripping down his back, no doubt there from the splashing earlier. He turned around, showing his front to her once again. It still was a mystery to her how he looked so incredibly attractive with the slight muscles he had. Maybe it was because he looked real and not the cookie-cutter way every guy she knows looks with their excessive muscles. She doesn't even find that all appeasing.

"Oh, Lucy," Rogue said, smiling slightly. He turned back to the girl, whom she assumed was Asuka, and confined rubbing shampoo in her hair. "She hates baths, but I seem to be able to calm her down just enough to give her one. No one else really can, not even Mom."

Lucy smiled. "That's so sweet. So she's your sister, right?" He hummed in response. She found herself getting distracted by the way the muscles in his back would flex when he would move. "So, uh, I haven't heard from you in a while."

"I figured you were busy with your friends." He grabbed a cup to start washing the soap from Asuka's hair. That resulted in more splashing and laughing.

Lucy moved over to sit at the edge of the tub. "That doesn't mean I would abandon you," she said. He looked up at her with surprise. "I still wish you would have talked to me."

Asuke giggled and reached out to touch Rogue's face. That made him smile. She put both her little hands up to his face, ready to move his bangs to the side. His smile fell. "No, Asuka!" She just tried harder. He really didn't want her moving his hair away with Lucy there.

Rogue ended up losing his balance and falling backwards, bringing Asuka forward. She yelped and grabbed Lucy. The blonde fell sideways, splashing into the water. A small wave went over to the tub, soaking the floor. Asuka laughed ran out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Lucy had left the door open, allowing her to run out of the room.

"Lucy, are you alright?" Rogue asked. He stood up and looked at her in the tub. The water wasn't that warm anymore, since Asuka had been taking a bath for a while, so Lucy was shivering. He smiled sadly and grabbed her hand to help her out.

"Okay, that was funny," Lucy giggled. Rogue helped her to a standing position. She looked into his one exposed eye, seeming to get lost in the red. He seemed to be get lost in her brown eyes, as well. She unconsciously moved forward a little, losing balance. "Kya!" she yelped.

Rogue put his arms around her waist to catch her and they both hit the floor, surprisingly silently. Lucy ended up on top of him. They were both blushing. She became suddenly aware that her hands were on his bare chest and let out a squeak. They were both to stunned and embarrassed to do anything.

Rogue suddenly flipped them over. His legs rested between hers, his forearms resting on either side of her face. She sighed out his name. That weird side of him was back, it seemed. The blush on his face gave him away, though. She was blushing clear to her shoulders. Sometimes she wished she wasn't blonde.

Lucy reached up and put her hands against his cheeks. Her one hand tickled the edge of his bangs, but she didn't move them to the side. It surprised her at how soft his skin was. Her one arm moved to slide down his arm, feeling the muscles. His arms seemed to be the only truly muscular thing about him, but she liked that.

They seemed to just look at each other forever. It was as if they were talking with their eyes. They really just took the time to admire each other. His hair was soaked, and she would find herself following beads of water down his chest. His shorts were pushed down past his hips, showing he had a 'v' muscle. She had to look back up at his face to stop herself from imagining lowering his shorts more. How had she never looked at Natsu or Gray in this way? Tons of girls drooled over them, but she never looked at them beyond friendship. But Rogue on the other hand make her think about relationships way more than usual.

Rogue loved the way Lucy's damp hair fanned out around her head and framed her face in other parts. He was very thankful that she wasn't wearing a white shirt. He could already see the full outline of her bra from underneath the pink shirt she was wearing. The yoga shorts she was wearing just road up her legs more, sticking impossibly tight. It was weird for him to check out a girl after so long. He hadn't since his past girlfriend. He pushed the thought from his mind, not wanting to think about it.

"Rogue," Lucy said. She was blushing again. He felt embarrassed, thinking he was caught looking at her. She was really just saying his name so she could stop distracting herself with him.

He reached his one thumb to rub along her cheek. She put one hand behind his neck, thinking the same thing he was. As if a magnetic force was pulling them closer, their lips moved only centimeters from each other. Her second hand moved to his stomach. There was no doubt that she wasn't cold anymore. He slowly closed the gap between them.

Lucy melted against Rogue the moment their lips touched. It felt as she always thought a kiss should. Physically, it just felt like it could have been a hand against her lips. But his were so warm and soft, nothing like she would have expected. A tingling feeling went clear to her toes. Sadly, the kiss ended after a few seconds. She was still left breathless.

"Rogue!" a voice screamed from downstairs. "Don't let your sister run around wet with no clothes on!"

Rogue sighed and stood up, helping Lucy, too. "You can go change into something of mine. My room is right across from the stairs. I need to go get Asuka," he said. He ran out of the room without saying anything else.

Lucy grabbed a towel and went to Rogue's room. She felt a little nervous about going inside. Pushing the door open, she was completely surprised at what she saw. The bed wasn't made, clothes were all over the floor, and everything was just thrown around on his desk. She saw his dresser in the corner of his room. Clothes were sticking out, and the drawers weren't even. She pulled one open and saw shirts. After stripping everything but her underwear, she pulled the shirt over her head. The shirt went halfway to her knees, so she just stuck with that.

She walked over to his desk. A couple cans of Axe were sitting there. She noticed the chocolate one and smiled. There were a couple soda cans sitting there, along with a candy wrapper or two. It seemed like a typical boy's room. It seemed like Rogue would be the type to keep a neat room, but it turns out that he wasn't.

Lucy noticed a picture frame laying down under a couple papers on his dresser. She moved them aside and picked up the frame. An older man with long black hair had his hair in a pony tail, his bangs naturally to the side so his face wasn't blocked. He had a big grin and deep, red eyes. He had his hands on two boys' heads with one standing between them. The first looked about fourteen. He had long black hair in a style much like Rogue's, but the boy's hair was much thicker. The second boy looked about thirteen. He had his bangs tied up in his head. She realized that was Zeref. The boy in the middle, looking twelve, had thin black hair. The part in his hair kept his bangs out of his face. He was smiling the widest. It took a moment, but she realized it was Rogue.

A few things bothered Lucy. For one, why wasn't his hair in his eyes? And that smile looked so real. Even now he didn't smile half as wide. What stood out most of all, though, was the giant crack in the frame.

Lucy looked at the papers that she pushed aside before. She realized they were pictures, not papers. There was one with Rogue looking fourteen, holding Asuka as a baby. Another had the oldest boy holding who she assumed to be Romeo. The rest of the pictures were just random ones of the boys, their mother, and their father, who most be the older man in the pictures. The last picture two Lucy picked up shocked her most. The one was the oldest boy kissing a girl Lucy would have bet her life was Bisca. The next was Rogue holding up a small card, his father's arm over his shoulder giving a peace sign. They both seemed to be taken very recently. It had to have been two years ago at most. But Rogue looked different. His hair was to the side and he just looked so happy.

Lucy put everything back and grabbed her clothes. She shouldn't have been looking through his things anyways. She went to leave, but she heard a sound like a paper falling. She looked behind her and saw that a picture from his dresser fell. Picking it up, her eyes widened. Rogue was hugging a beautiful girl with orange hair around the waist. He was leaning down to kiss her. They were both wearing swimsuits, and it looked like they were at the beach. The sad thing was, it was just as recent as the last two pictures she looked at. For whatever reason, she grabbed her phone to take a picture of the photo. She knew she had to leave at that point. She ran downstairs and acted like nothing happened.

Lucy was only downstairs long enough to say goodbye, since she needed to be home for dinner soon. She completely avoided the hug Rogue was trying to give her on her way out, oddly hurt by the picture of him with another girl.
