A/N: Hello, my dear Lauliver friends. I hope you enjoyed the new episode (I can't wait to see how they develop the League of Shadows into Arrow… but that's not the purpose of this one shot).
I have an idea for this one that's light and fluffy. I've written serious one shots lately and I wanted write a light one for once.
Usual disclaimers are in place. None of the characters are mine, but rather DC Comics and whatever genius grace us every episode.
Enjoy!
Laurel walked out of her bedroom with a satisfied grin on her face. Her work in the DA's office was working completely to her happiness. She was helping put the bad guys behind bars. She even started forgiving the Hood for his mistake the prior year. But it wasn't that close.
She was about to put on one of her favorite movies when a knock came from her front door. She crossed her pajama-clad arms and groaned when she decided to answer it. Ollie was on the other side of the door, in a suit and tie, smiling at her polka-dotted pajamas. "Nice to know you still have those delectable night things."
She rolled her eyes and smelled the distinct aroma of Lo Mein. "What do you want?"
He brought a bag from his side and shook it a little. "I need a movie night, and if I remember correctly, Thursday nights were mandatory for that."
She sighed and pushed her door open. he grinned and made his way to her kitchen. She sat down on her couch and he brought plates and silverware to the small coffee table. he'd taken off the suit jacket and tie, but was still wearing his stiff posture. "I've got some of your old sweatpants, you know… and probably a shirt around in the back."
His eyebrows rose up. "You kept my sweatpants?"
She shrugged. He laughed and she pointed to a closet that held a big box of his stuff she never returned to him. "There's a green box in the back of that closet. Your stuff is in it.'
"Why?" he asked. She smiled and didn't answer him as he awkwardly searched through the closet. It gave her ample time to watch one of her favorite parts of him wiggle around uncontrollably. She laughed when he gave a grunt of triumph. He gave an elegant bow and closed her bedroom door.
Less than two minutes later, he was beside her in musty smelling clothes with a relaxed grin on his face. She pressed the play button and he groaned at her choice of movie.
"We're really going to watch '27 Dresses'?" he scoffed. She pointed to the door and then looked at him while bringing a finger to her lips to signal for him to quiet. He huffed and settled back into her couch. "We're so watching 'Rambo' after this."
"If you can last that long," she teased. He barked his laugh out. As the ending credits rolled, Ollie turned to see Laurel sleeping on his shoulder.
"I should make you watch 'Rambo'," he whispered to the room quietly. Instead, he just reset the DVD and played the entire movie over again. He fell asleep with his head on hers.
It was the first night he felt himself changing once again for the woman he loved dearly.
A/N: Super short, but I hope you like it. I will hopefully update Thursday, especially if I have a plot bunny in the back of my head. I'm probably going to do a pre-Island one shot next time.
And highlander348, that one-shot will be up soon!
Until Next Time,
DBA
