A HUGE thanks to chaos-dark-lord for this fabulous idea which I never would have thought of without her suggestion. She's offered an idea in which I have never tried before and I think that it would be perfect for this pairing of Jackie and Ace. Enjoy~

I heavily exhale as I shove my back against the bend Merry Go Round horse, trying to right it in its place so I can hook the chain on the loop. My legs tremble from the exertion, struggling to just keep my footing on the slick surface of the ride. Of course the only obese faceless I've ever seen here in Wonderland wants to ride the Merry go Round and freaking breaks the stupid right with his oversized load of a stupid butt!
My teeth angrily grind as I get red in the face from the force of the ride threatening to crash down on me. I should have gotten a faceless's help or something. I've underestimated the weight of this ride. My feet begin to slip as my heart skips a beat, seeing my toes slipping off the edge of the ride.
"Whoa~ big sis is strong!" A voice calls. My head cranes to the side as I struggle to keep it up, seeing the Bloody Twins running up to me with big smiles on their faces.
"OUT." I sourly order, huffing between my teeth as I try to just keep the ride from crushing me. This thing is supposed to be hollow and made of bronze so why the hell is it so heavy?!
"Big sister, we came to give you our treasures." Dee says as he pulls out a small box.
"Yeah. We feel bad for making you mad. We're sorry," Dum apologizes as he walks up to the ride and hops on top. The heavy weight becomes bearable at the very least giving my shoulders and back some much needed respite.
"Yeah, you both made me very mad." I straightforwardly state, watching as Dee sets the box on the ground and jumps onto the ride to help.
"Whoa, does big sis hate us, brother?" Dee asks with fear coloring his voice.
"No, no way! Big sis would never hate us!" Dum retorts as I shove my back against the ride and get it close enough to the chain to hook on. "Big sis, you don't hate us, right?" I pointedly ignore the twin idiots as I reach up and grab the chain, yanking it down as far as the links would allow and hook it on the horse. Finally! I thought I would seriously have to go get Gowland or a heavy lifting faceless to help me out here.
"S-She's not answering, brother!" Dee cries, sounding more and more distressed by each passing second I remain silent. Ugh I can't work with them here like this. I slip off the ride and pick up the box they brought, sternly staring at the both of them and made them flinch. Why would they care that I dislike them? They have their other 'big sister', Alice.
"Take the box back and leave me alone." I coldly state, setting the box on the edge of the ride before walking away. I can't talk it out with them yet. My hormones are bouncing out the roof and I'm still too pissed to think straight. I'll only end up yelling at them and making them cry.
"Waaahhhh~! Big sister, please don't hate us! It was Dum's fault!" Dee cries as he slams into my side, constricting himself around my arm. I look away from him, knowing that I'll be facing the beginnings of a red eyed teary mess. Why can't they just leave?
"What?! No it wasn't, it was Dee's fault!" Dum childishly blames as he whips out his axe. My heart drops to my stomach as I leap back, watching Dee whip around with his own axe and block.
"That's fighting dirty, brother!" He shouts, lashing out at him three times in a row and nearly throwing Dum's axe right out of his hands.
"Hey! Knock it off!" I shout but they continue to swing at each other. Seriously? My fingers run through my hair in annoyance as I glare at the both of them and try to figure out how to cool the situation down.
"You're a liar, Dee!"
"No, you're the liar!"
"Alley oop!" A loud voice jubilantly cries. My head snaps up, spying Ace bringing his sword down on both of the twins. They barely turn in time and block the attack with their axes.
"Ace?! No, no all three of you knock it off!" I shout, watching as customers begin to flee and leave the area. Oh forget it I'm just going to blast them all to a watery hell. I whip around and dash to the storage unit, leaping in and began unraveling the hose. Sometimes I wish I could turn this thing all the way up but that might tear their skin off. Yuck.
A soaking wet rag slaps over my mouth as a brief, hard punch to the back of my knee brought my down. I sucked in a pained breath before a strong arm hooks around my neck and cuts off my air supply.
"AGH-!" I scream in pain, my cry muffled by the wet rag. Who-?!
"Hold her fast, hold her fast! We need to get the hell out of here before that knight gets here." An anxious hisses as everything starts to get dark. N-No ...
‡
"Come on, wake up." A gruff voice orders in an annoyed tone as a sharp, stinging pain knocks my head to the side. I groan and fall forward, feeling my arms being wrenched back by my weight. Ow ... ow. Why the hell am I tied to a chair - oh joy I've been kidnapped. I groan with not pain but aggravation as my eyes roll open, seeing a bright light shining over me.
"Hey hey, we still need her in one piece, man." A raspy voice chuckles as fingers dig into my hair and pull me back. I sluggishly struggle to move, feeling my wrists tied up tight behind me.
"Do you have the serum ready? Hey!" The deep voice barks, making my heart jump. S-Serum? Are they going to drug me? My fingers twitch as I sit up on the chair, looking around the dark room and seeing the two faceless figures moving around. One of them pulls a needle and pokes it into a small bottle, sucking up everything that's inside the strange red liquid.
"Shtop," I slur, rolling my head back as I faintly thump my feet against the ground.
"Watch the dosage, man. We don't need her going insane." The leaner faceless huffs, slapping the man's arm as he pulled the needle out and pushed a bit, letting the air and liquid squirt out of the top.
"She'll be fine. We only need her for a little while anyway." The man retorts as he turns back towards me. Oh hell what does that drug do? Ugh ...
"Whysh?" My voice turns into a messy combination of words as the leaner man firmly grabs my throat, tipping me back on the legs of the chair.
"Hold still, girly. You'll be up and moving not too long from now." He says, flipping the needle in his hand before stabbing me in the leg. I jolt, remaining tense as I watch the level of liquid slowly deplete until there is nothing left. W-W-What the hell is that?
"There. Now drag her into the back room so the medicine can take effect." The man orders as the leaner faceless hooks his claws into the back of the chair and drags me across the floor. My heart stutters as a fiery heat begins to flare up in my leg seeping deep into the muscle and spreading through the fibers within. A tight constriction squeezes my lungs as my body uncontrollably begins to shake. It hurts ...
"D***, that stuff works fast." The man says as he unhooks my arms from the chair and spills me onto the ground. My eyes roll back as my bones and skin burn, making me convulse on the ground without control. Dust and grim glue to the cold sweat embracing my skin in an attempt to cool down the fire consuming my flesh. I-It burns, everything burns-! My spine curls as I let out a blood curdling scream from the fire consuming every shred of sanity.
"IT BURNS! IT BURNS!" I scream, praying that someone, anyone would come and help me. My brain begins to warp and squeeze within the confides of my skull, pulsing with the blood and aching with anguished horror and angry fright.
Anyone and everyone. It's always everyone else for every little thing.
When did I become so dependent on others?
Why would they bother to help? None of them care.
No one cares.
Hell, it was luck all along that put me in my mother's womb. That made me the subject of her fury and frustration. What makes others different? Just because they are born into wonderful homes and discover helpful friends.
No, no they all deserve it.
They all deserve to feel what I feel. My heart painfully aches at the mere thoughts of blame and rejection but ever so slowly it is consumed by the fire too, swallowed up in the conniving sense of selfish fury making the tips of my fingers and lungs throb with the thirsty excitement of revenge.
"Ha ... ha, HA HA HA HA HA HA!" My throat expels maddened laughter as I twist and churn on the ground, filling the room with the ironic humor of Wonderland. Of Role Holders. Of life. Of everything.
My laughter takes a more twisted and mournful crying as tears streak down my face, staring at the light filtering through the bars of the door. They think they can control me? They think they can use me? Everyone here in Wonderland does it without thinking of the consequence. With a last frightened scream a switch is flipped and ripped out of its sockets, making the lights remain out in a permanent way and allow a certain selfish flow of urges and hatred take the burned sanity's place.
To hell with all of them. To hell with them all.
I'm done, I'm done. Why not let Wonderland consume me a little? To fall into their ways to destroy those men who've hurt me so and send them all to hell ... isn't that what Wonderland is? No joy, only sorrow. No happiness, only pain. I will be leaving and when I do no one will care. After all, it's all about Alice. Never me.
The madness of Wonderland, the madness of thought and sanity which will never be is simply ... maddening.
So why not let that madness consume me for a little bit?
So why not make those Role Holders face a true woman's fury?
So why not?
So why not at all?
SO wHy F***InG NoT?
‡
Blood drips over my fingers as my head cranes back, numbly studying the wooden door with a slow forming smile. Idiots. All of them. What makes them think they can just toss me into a room and not expect me to get out?
"Ha ... ha ha, ha," the light laughter bubbles past my fat lip from the thought. The sharp scissors in my hand slices my skin here and there as I work to sever the ropes on my wrists. They have no idea who they are dealing with. I'll burn this whole d*** thing to the ground with them inside.
The madness, this anger, this surging confusion heightens my excitement as the broad grin across my mouth only grows, consuming my face. Smile, smiling all the way ... isn't that what happiness is? Hiding the pain, hiding the sorrow, expressing the joy while plotting the horror ... oh, oh what fun this will be.
The thin, rough ropes drop to the ground as I get to my shaky feet, feeling a rush of adrenaline surging through my veins. O-Ooh~ now I'm excited. To see the burning, crisp building and watching the licking flames just about consume everything in sight ... I'm shaking I'm so excited.
I grasp the sledgehammer from my belt and pop it up, going up to the door. Hm~ I'm in a rather playful mood right now. So strange ... it's almost as if my impulses are taking over. This madness of Wonderland ... the thought of this 'madness' makes a sharp laugh pop out of my throat. All the tension and anger from the past seventeen years of my life ... my lips curl up into a mad grin as I flip the sledgehammer over my shoulder.
This will be fun.
Knock knock knockknock knock. knock knock
I step off to the side and calmly wait for the man to open the door. There's only one guy here watching me. I vaguely remember hearing one of the men saying he was going to go get some drinks and he hasn't come back for a while. So then ... let the fun, begin. Ha! No wonder the Joker is so mad for fun. No wonder that stupid knight is all smiles while lying underneath is a mad and corrupted thought process bent on blackening and ruining everything around him.
Ace can't ever have his way, being free from his role so he plays along while cunningly plotting and waiting for his chance to slaughter everyone around him with a grin on his face. The thought of the knight swinging his mighty blade around and slicing through pathetic faceless sends a riveting shiver down my spine. I grasp my arms, letting out a shaky breath with the fiery excitement consuming my blood.
What a good role model to follow.
"Oh, as it taken effect?" He asks through the door.
"Yeah." I answer with a click of my tongue, swinging back and getting ready to smash the man's face in.
He opens the door, sticking his gun in first. I patiently wait, licking my lips to moisten the chapped skin before lurching forward as he poked his head in. His blood curling scream fills the room as I miss my mark, deliciously watching his hand become flat beneath the metal sledgehammer's mighty blow. Boo~ I missed, but that scream makes up for it. This scream is different; it's just of pain. Not the suffering I've had to endure my whole life. It's not enough.
Not enough.
"GACK-!" He screams as I burst out from behind the wall myself and land a powerful blow over his ribcage. Blood flies out of his mouth with his cough, splattering against my face as I hook the edge of the weapon around the back of his neck. With a hard driving force I knee his gut, forcing the lug to bend over before stepping past him and - bracing myself against the wall - kick the man right in the a**. He stumbles into the cage, grasping his ribs as I flip the keys he dropped onto the floor in my hand.
His head whips around as the door clicks shut from the turning key in my hand. My eyes slide over my arms, watching them tremble and shake from either paralyzing fear or elated excitement. What does it matter? Both emotions produce the same sort of shaking. With a purring laughter I turn and walk over towards the front of the door. The glistening red gas containers set a tricky gleam in my eyes as I pick up two heavy jugs of the stuff.
"Dousing, dousing all in flames~ watch it burn, watch it nice, aren't they lovely, climbing flames~," I sing, singing to the soft tune as I empty the jugs down either side of the short hall.
"Hey, hey what are you doing?!" The man wheezes, grabbing at the bars and shaking them profusely.
"Dousing, dousing all in flames~ watch it burn, watch it nice, aren't they lovely, climbing flames~," I repeat, tossing the empty jugs to either side of the wooden stairs leading up to the main room. "An explosion would be nice to see, don't you think?" I ask, trotting past him and narrowly avoiding his outstretched arm which attempts to grab my shirt. With a quick hop to the side I step out of reach and lean towards him, softly pinching his pointer finger and making him look at me.
"Jackie, you wretch!" He shouts, trying to grab me but unable to reach and further.
"Hm, boring," I say, walking over towards the entrance and taking up the last four jugs. I pop the cap off of the one and head to the door, stacking the three together against the door while using the fourth to dump and lead a trail to the explosive containers. My eye travels to the side, spying the large boiler for the house placed conveniently next to the stairs. This is going to be one hell of a firebomb.
"Stop!" He shouts, mouth gapping with fright as I toss the empty container aside.
"Why?" I ask, glancing over the table and spying a deck of specially marked cards. Oh, these are the cards for this organization, aren't that? Oh ho~ this is going to come in handy. With a wicked grin I grab the cards and pocket them, along with the matches. The man begins to panic, clawing and shaking the weak metal bars with all his might. I suck in a fast breath and dart up the wooden stairs, lighting one of the matches on the wooden banister before he breaks free. He stumbles into the center, nose flaring with the chemical smell before running off down an unseen path in the basement.
I snort through my nose. Fine, let's see you run, little piggy. With a hard flick the lit match soars through the air towards the gasoline soaked ground just as I slam the outside door shut. Without a pause in beat I make a wild dash down the alleys and make a sharp turn, barely registering the bright flash of light illuminating my shadow before me.
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM
The explosion throws me right off my feet as bricks pummel against my back, making me let out a shout of pain. I didn't make the turn fast enough but I'm out of the fire's main range. With a hacking cough I pick myself up, clutching my ribs as I dare a glance back. The entire first floor of the house is ignited with licking, wild flames quickly climbing to the top. Screams of the people inside fill the hot air as I fumble back from the brightness of the destruction, burning the image into my mind and eyes forever.
My eyes greedily take in the sight of the scorching flames, feeling laughter sharply barking out of my chest as I drop to the ground in a mad fit of hysterical laughter. It's gone, it's burning, it's all burning-!
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" I wail in laughter, feeling tears rolling down my cheeks. That went off faster than I expected and it's wonderful, it's burning gloriously wonderful in madness-! My thoughts and descriptions hardly make sense alone to my mind but words are beyond my comprehension. Desolated and burning ...
"Ma'am, ma'am are you alright?!" A random passing by faceless cries as strong arms rip me to my feet. Still the laughter does not cease, instead filling the entire alley with the cracking smiles of longing and insane trills of laugher.
"H-Help, we need to get her some help."
"Isn't that the foreigner-?"
"Y-Yes it is! Quickly, find a Role Holder!" A man urgently orders, kneeling down and resting my head on his lap while holding my face to keep my still. The sky fills with smoke, blotting out the stars of the Night sky. Ha ... ha ha ... the foul, thick billowing smoke hiding, covering up those bright shining stars ...
It's beautiful.
