A/N: I've been excited about this chapter too! Though I have to admit I would appreciate some more reviews. Please! Thank you for reading, and if you want to see some of the clothes described in this story, check out my new DeviantArt profile. At the moment it will just have photos of the dresses, but once I figure out how to work my new scanner, I hope to put some of my drawings on there too. I will put the link on my profile. Thanks for reading!
"Drink, drink, drink!" the group of girls chanted eagerly, crowded around a massive table in a bar where Anne was downing a tray of vodka shots and peach schnapps.
"She's going to be so ill in the morning" said Jane to Kate, who nodded in agreement. It was Anne's hen night, and the five friends had gone out clubbing to het extremely drunk and hopefully meet some guys for a one-night stand. Along with them had come some of the other girls from the company; Madge Shelton, Anne Saville and Jane Parker, who was George's on-off girlfriend. Then had come some family members; Mary Boleyn, Jane's sister Elizabeth, Anne-Clara's sister Amelia, Kitty's old school friend Joan Bulmer and Catherine's sister Isabel, who had very reluctantly agreed to come along. The girls all wore pink fluffy feather boas and were extraordinarily drunk.
Kitty jumped up to go and dance with a young man who was extremely good-looking, and Kate spotted her childhood sweetheart, Jane's brother Tom, and went over to him. Jane and Anne-Clara just watched Anne down drink after drink with disgusted expressions.
"She should not be drinking for the sake of the baby, and I highly doubt she will be able to make it up the aisle after all of this alcohol" Anne-Clara said to Jane. Jane giggled and nodded.
"Do you want to bet?" she asked.
"Bet what?"
"That either her baby is born deformed or she stumbles on her way up the aisle"
"Jane!" Anne-Clara gasped, "You can't think that about a poor little baby!"
Jane giggled again, and hiccupped, "I'm sorry" she slurred, "Okay. Let's bet that she'll do the Technicolor yawn all over Henry on their wedding night!"
"Jane! Are you drunk? I thought you did not drink?"
"It's a special occasion!" Jane protested, "And I am drunk...this is why I don't drink!"
"I can understand it now" said Anne-Clara, raising her eyebrows at her sniggering friend, "Come on. Let us go home"
"But why...I'm having fun!" Jane whined. Anne-Clara sighed and dragged her up, draping Jane's arm over her shoulders.
"That is exactly why, you silly girl" she sighed, looking back around the room at a drunken Anne, slutty Kitty and flirty Kate, then leaving.
Anne stood quite calm and still on her father, Thomas' arm, waiting for her cue. Kitty was whining and complaining beside her.
"But I feel sick, Anne. Can't I just go to bed?" she pleaded. Anne glared at her.
"No, Kitty. You're my cousin. You have to be at my wedding"
Kitty huffed and pouted, but didn't say anything more. She was at the head of the procession of bridesmaids in their purple dresses, with Mary behind her, then Anne-Clara, then Kate, then Jane and finally Anne's niece Cat as the little flower girl. They all looked stunning – even Anne-Clara thought that she looked quite pretty.
The music began and Anne stepped into the church with her father. She smiled seductively at Henry who looked undeniably ecstatic to be marrying someone who could look that hot even when they were pregnant.
Kitty spotted the guy she had met the night before at the hen night and wondered what he was doing at the wedding, but she smiled and winked at him anyway. He, too, looked surprised to see her.
Mary looked anxiously around for her fiancé William and her baby son Henry, both of whom seemed quite content to be sitting with her mother and brother.
Kate wondered if Jane's brother Tom had been invited to the wedding. He had, and he pulled a face at her, then grinned, making her giggle as she walked.
Jane and Anne-Clara walked along without looking at anyone, which made them somewhat bitter.
The wedding went very smoothly, aside from the moment when Kitty began to gag and had to run out of the church with the guy from the night before on her heels.
"I now pronounce you both man and wife" the priest announced, looking at Henry, "You may kiss the bride"
Henry and Anne shared a long and heated kiss that made everyone in the church either giggly or jealous. After this everyone travelled to the reception.
Kitty found out that the guy's name was Francis. She also found out that she had had sex with him the night before. And they hadn't used protection. She panicked.
Kate and Tom admitted that they still had feelings for each other and ended up sneaking off to one of the hotel rooms.
Jane flirted a little with George, and earned a slap from the pretty redhead he had bought as his date. She didn't see the two of them for the rest of the evening, and she didn't want to know what they were doing.
Anne-Clara got talking with a very nice man called Lorraine, which she thought was quite funny until he told her he was gay.
And that night when Anne and Henry fell into their bed in the honeymoon suite, Henry whispered to Anne;
"I love you".
And much to her own surprise, Anne whispered back, "And I love you"
A/N: Do you think this was okay? I changed it a little from my normal writing style because I wanted to get a lot of stuff in. Please let me know!
