Hinata now stood on top of the first Hokage's head as she gave the village one last look. Today was the day that she was going to meet Itachi. Then they would flee far away from the place that had always been her home. But now her home was going to be wherever Itachi was at.

As she stood there looking out over all the stuff that she would hold only in memory she sighed as she thought about what happened over the last three months. She had tried to be nice to everyone who came to 'rescue' her. Especially Naruto and Neji. But she just couldn't do it. She was able to act like she was still their best friends, but she knew they could see the resentment that was in her eyes.

Because of how adamant she was about being in love with Itachi because he wasn't as evil as everyone thought that he was, Lady Tsunade had anbu black ops following her every time she left her house. It was a bother but she dealt with it. The only thing that kept her sane was Itachi's extra cloak.

The village hated the fact that she had it. But when they had tried to take it she became so enraged and upset that they did give it back to her to settle her down. That was the biggest reason why she was under anbu guard.

And just like Itachi had told her before she left, she had found the hidden pocket. She waited a few weeks then she went into the pocket one night when she was the only one up. She found several scrolls, one was titled to her. It was a note that explained where to meet him at and what the other scrolls were.

One was how to put up the barrier that she was in when Naruto first got to the hide out around her room to keep any prying eyes out of what she was doing. That didn't go over well. She had a firm argument for it as well. With her clan having the Byakugan, she wanted some level of privacy while she was at home since she didn't get it while she was out of it.

Another scroll was a jutsu that put up a movable barrier around only her body. It wouldn't let anyone see her either, nor would they hear the footsteps as she walked around. That she could slam her hand into a wall, and no one would hear the sound of it.

Smiling she turned away from the village and bounded off. She was going to Itachi. She held her breath as she ran on. No matter what it took, she was going to be with him. Even going against her family. Her clan. Her friends. Even the Leaf Village as a whole. She was going to be with him.

Naruto watched as the leaves moved once again. He had been sitting outside of Hinata's house waiting on her to come out. He couldn't see her at all through her window. And with no wind, when the leaves moved just outside her window he knew she was leaving and followed them.

He knew why she was sneaking around like this. And had half a mind to tell on her and have the anbu make her go home. But he wanted to follower her first. See what happened.

Itachi starred toward the Leaf Village with anxious eyes. Today was the day that if she still wanted him, Hinata would return to him. He would stay at the spot that he was at until midnight. If by then she wasn't there he would enter the village and find her to see why.

If she was being held against her will he would take her from them and flee as fast as he could. But if she wanted to stay because she wanted too, he would accept that fate and carry the memory of the days and nights that he shared with her until Naruto came and took her away from him.

While thinking of the possibility that he might have to go and steal her away again he had gone from looking anxiously toward the village to having a heated glare on the ground. He was so lost in thought that he hadn't noticed that she was there until he heard her voice say his name.

"Itachi?"

Hinata smiled at the look of shock on his face as she stopped a foot in front of him. She smiled brightly into his dark eyes, eyes that she missed for the last three months. "Did you really think that I wouldn't come?"

Itachi smiled as she let down her jutsu and he reached out and pulled her into his arms as he dipped his head letting his lips fall on hers. In a soft, yet firm demanding kiss. She had come.

Hinata gasped when he first pulled her into his arms but the melted instantly into them. She returned his kiss, winding her arms around his neck. The same feelings that she had with every kiss before Naruto and Neji showed up swam through her again. When she felt him run his tongue across her lips she sighed as she willingly opened her mouth and let him deepen the kiss.

Itachi held his kiss for a moment longer slowed the kiss and then pulled his mouth from hers as he sighed. "I knew you would come to me. I was just preparing for your rescue if you didn't show up."

The sound of a twig snapping made him flinch as he tightened his hold around her waist and spun around, putting her behind him and glaring at who was there. It was Naruto. "You wanted something?"

Naruto glared at Itachi. He knew for sure this time that Hinata had come to him on her own accord. But he still knew that Itachi must have manipulated her some how. He looked up and saw how she clung to him and softened his eyes. "Why Hinata? Why him?"

Hinata looked at Naruto with stern eyes. Her hands gripped the back of Itachi's cloak with a death grip. "I told you before Naruto. I fell in love with him. He truly isn't as evil as everyone thinks that he is. He didn't do anything to me. He was sweet and protective of me."

Naruto sighed as he dropped his head. "You know the day that you went missing, when I asked you to meet me at the training field. I had planned to tell you that I loved you and wanted to be with you. To be my wife one day."

"I am so sorry Naruto. But you know I can't."

Naruto looked up into her eyes, his own brimming with tears. "The Hinata that I knew before that day would have jumped on the chance to be with me. She would have let me love her. I want that Hinata back. I know she is down inside your heart somewhere."

Hinata sighed as she cast her eyes down. "Naruto. All the years that I spent chasing after you. Wanting to tell you how much I loved you. How much I wanted you. You wouldn't look at me twice. Especially if Sakura was around."

"Hinata…"

"And even in the last three months you haven't tried to show me how you felt about me in the least Naruto Uzumaki. Instead you tried to work with my father and Neji to make me feel like a prisoner in the village."

Naruto cast his eyes down again. "So you don't care anything for me now then right? That is what you are saying?"

Hinata looked back up at him with a soft smile. "I do, but just as a brother or a friend. Nothing more. My heart does and always will belong to Itachi."

Naruto looked up at her and starred at her with wondering eyes. Tears started to spill as he reached his hand out toward her. "Hinata please come back to me. Let me see if I can erase his memory from your heart and soul. Please?"

Hinata sighed as her grip tightened even more and she cast her eyes down. "Naruto." Then she glared up at him from over Itachi's shoulder. "Naruto even if I did go with you, and you caused me to fall out of love with Itachi, and in love with you, there is no way that you would erase everything about him. He would always be apart of my life, until the day that I die."

"I can make you forget him Hinata!"

"No you can't! Naruto, I am pregnant with his child. That baby would always remind me of him."
