After some editing to the song, Mako decided to add that to his list of songs he needed to record for the album. So far he had ten out of fourteen songs and the due date for the album grew closer and closer. He was stressed out, not only with the album but with this whole fake relationship with Korra. During the time when they were editing his song, Asami called non-stop and when he didn't answer she would text him. It got annoying to the point where Mako put his phone in his file cabinet and left it there.

"Why don't you just answer the phone?" Korra asked.

"I don't know, it's just….. I really don't know why."

"By actually getting up and answer the phone you could see what she wants and then we could actually finish work and go record the songs." Mako nodded his head and went to get his phone.

"Plus I'm almost done with my homework teacher."

"Good job." He said with a smile and she laughed as well. Once he reached the file cabinet, the phone started to ring and he sighed. Hopefully it was something important that wouldn't take up the time that he didn't even have. (A/N: Mako is bold and Asami is italic)

"Hello?"

"Hey Mako you got a minute?"

"Not really but I'm willing to listen."

"I'm really sorry I didn't listen to you and I flipped out and listen to everyone else about our relationship."

"Asami I accept the apology."

"So does that mean we can fix our relationship?"

"Asami, I would but Korra and I are kind of-"

"I get it. Can we still be friends?"

"Yeah, see you around."

"You too." And with that Asami hung up and Mako put down the phone and sighed. Shaking his head, he walked back over to Korra and sat across from her. She decided not to ask him about it unless he wanted to talk about.

"So when are we going to the studio?"

"When we finish all the songs and right now we need four more and then we might have time to head over to studio."

"When is your album supposed to be published?'

"In about three weeks."

"Damn, not a lot of time then, huh?"

"Not really and after the public picks a single we have to make time to perform it and then make dates for the tour."

"Woah, when would we be going on tour? Where too?"

"While every major city in America and if we do really well we could go to Europe. Also we would be going probably during the summer, since a lot of people would be on vacation."

"That's a lot of planning."

"Yeah, that's why we need to finish now and then record by the end of the week." Nodding her head the two got right back to work. They tried out different tones and pitches seeing which ones worked and which ones they could throw away. During their time, Mako called Bolin and asked him to bring them some lunch and of course anything with food Bolin was there. After their lunch break the two young artist went right back to work. Sometimes they would stop and talk and then get right back to work.

By the time the two decided to call it a night, it was around 11:30 pm. (A/N: Okay so this is the same day when they decided that they were going to be in the fake relationship and that was around 8:30 am. Korra went to the office around 10:00am and Mako showed up at 10:50am. The two had lunch around 2:00pm and took breaks in between.)

"No one's here." Korra said when they were in the lobby.

"Most leave around six or seven."

"Alright, well I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning."

"Let me drop you home." Mako said.

"You don't have too."

"Korra, it's late at night and it's a little chilly." After a long sigh, Korra followed Mako to his car. Once they got there, Mako opened the door for her and she thanked him before he closed the door. It was a very nice looking Audi. Black outside and leather black inside. This is probably the most beautiful car Korra has ever seen.

"So I'm guessing you don't have a car." It wasn't a question, more so a statement.

"Nope."

"How come?"

"I lived in the south for a long time and most of the stores and schools were close enough to walk to."

"Do you know how to drive?"

"No."

"I'll make a bet with you."

"Okay."

"When your album goes number one you have to let me buy you a car and teach you how to drive."

"Alright but if it doesn't you have to walk for a whole month back and forth to work and home."

"Deal?"

"Deal." And the two shook hands and before they knew it they were in front of Korra's apartment.

"Thanks for the ride."

"Anytime Korra and by the way we're going to have to start going on 'dates'."

"Oh yeah, how about tomorrow after work?"

"That's fine. Goodnight Korra."

"Goodnight Mako." He watched her walk into her apartment, making sure she got in safely, before driving off to his own home. Tomorrow was going to be their first public appearance as a "couple" and to be honest Mako was pretty scared. He never had to fake it with anyone before. A few minutes later, he arrived at the home that he shared with his brother and turned off the car before walking in.

"Mako! Guess who called?" Bolin quickly said when he saw his brother walk in.

"Can I close the door first before you start asking me questions?"

"I guess." Sighing the young man quickly closed the door and followed his brother to the kitchen to grab something to drink.

"Now who called?"

"Get this, Wendy Williams." At this point Mako spilt out half his drink. Wendy Williams was like the host of New York's hottest T.V. talk show, oh how Mako loved her and all her hot topics.

"The Wendy Williams?"

"Yup, she wants to interview you on Monday to talk about you and Korra. Plus she even wants Korra to come." This was going to be huge and another plus was that his album was just about to come out too. This was a dream come true.

"I'll do it."
