Not only will all of you will be busy but I will be busy as well. But when I come back I will post two chapters in one week. Until then enjoy the chapter. Please read and review if you can.
Chapter 9 Save me Tonight
Greg was hanging on for dear life as the killer brought him to the railing. Now his voice was gone and he couldn't scream. It was holding him back on getting him help. He looked down and could see the hard ground where he could possibly die.
He wonders when Officer Mitchell was going to come back as he's at the plunge of his death. His hands are slipping away. He needs someone to save him right now. He needs to get out of this predicament as the blood flow to his brain was going crazy. He couldn't think straight as his legs were dangling and his hands were on the rails and were starting to slip.
Alright don't look down or think of what may happen
He couldn't look down; he has to stay strong for himself. He couldn't call for help as no one knew what was happening with him. No one knew he was on the verge of death. That he was hanging from a ledge with no voice so he couldn't scream.
"Greg. Greg." said Morgan as she entered the room as she saw the body of the victim then looked around "Greg."
She moved around the place not finding Greg at all then looked out the sliding doors and thought she saw fingers on the ledge. She thought she was going absolutely crazy as she shook her head. She looked again but saw the fingers and thought maybe she wasn't even crazy. She walked over and opened the sliding doors and went out.
"Oh my god, Greg." said Morgan as she went down putting her hand out to him "Take my hand."
Greg put one of his hands to her hands and gently felt it. It felt amazing to touch her hand as he was seeing the girl that he has a massive crush on. If he does die he will be glad that she will be the last person he sees. There was that something about her.
"Everything will be okay Greg." said Morgan right there as she grabbed her cell phone "Russell this is Morgan. Greg is hanging on to dear life from the rails and ledge of the balcony from the room. I don't know how long he can hold on."
Morgan ended the call then looked at him right there as she held onto his hand still. He couldn't help but smile as she understood that he couldn't talk as he could be nauseous or even lost his voice from hanging there and being so far high up.
"People are coming Greg. Don't worry I will be here for you." said Morgan right there looking at his sallow face and crushed hand, she doesn't want anything to happen to him "I'm here . . . I'm here."
Greg's hand was slipping away from the railing but the other was hanging onto Morgan. He tried gripping a lot harder onto it. The harder he gripped the better he had a hold onto the railing and not falling. But it caused his hands to become sweaty.
Fifteen minutes later Greg was still hanging on for his life, Morgan was gripping his hand and soothing him with her voice by saying that she was here for him. She really didn't want to lose him. He was amazing, he's everything she wants. Just then police cars and everything came over there.
"Oh my god Greg." said Nick looking up and saw Greg hanging on for dear life and saw Morgan hanging onto one of his hands
"This is not good." said Finn coming up
DB Russell, Nick Stokes, Julie Finlay, Sara Sidle, David Phillips, David Hodges, Al Robbins and Jim Brass were there seeing the scene. It did not look good at all as one of their own was slipping away and hanging on hard while the other was trying to take a firm grip on them. They didn't want to lose Greg as he was a value to the team.
"Alright get it set up." said Russell right there ordering the other's there while his team were anticipating waiting
"Come on." said Nick
"Don't let go of me Greg." said Morgan up on the balcony/deck trying her best
"I won't Morgan. I don't want to die." said Greg speaking for the first time as he saw Morgan leak a tear right there
"I don't want to lose you none of us do." said Morgan covering her tracks on what she said on the first part
Greg let go of his hand from the railing as it slipped as he hung there by one hand. He tried putting his hand back but it wouldn't let him so Morgan put her other hand out and Greg took it. It was his injured and crushed. It looked like he might have broken it.
"Please hold on tight." said Morgan to him
"I'm trying, I'm slipping." said Greg looking up
"Morgan." said Captain Jim Brass's voice from a Walkie talkie "Let go of Greg he will be okay."
"I can't." screamed Morgan as everyone heard her voice reverberate, she doesn't want to let go
"You have to." said Captain Jim Brass
"I will be okay Morgan." said Greg up to her
Morgan started leaking tears out of her eyes as she looked at Greg right there. Those amazing brown eyes, which she couldn't get past. That amazing personality and his love for the past. She couldn't let him go. She didn't want him to die. Not like this. It's not even his time. She has to do something.
"I'm sorry Morgan." said Greg looking at her blue eyes as he shook his head as he let go of her hands
"Greg!" shouted Morgan
Greg was falling, falling right in the air going down as everyone like DB Russell, Nick Stokes, Julie Finlay, Sara Sidle, David Phillips, David Hodges, Al Robbins, Jim Brass and Officer Mitchell were watching from the ground. Morgan was leaning on her stomach from the deck/balcony watching Greg fall down like he was flying but not quite. They were all nervous for him as he was really high up.
Greg could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins. How his hand was hurting from killer stepping on it. Both his hands and palms were sweating from hanging on for so long. But then his eyes closed midair and continued falling as he landed on a huge inflatable mattress as he went into it. Morgan gasped right there and went out of the hotel room going all the way down.
Paramedics came over to grab Greg putting him on a stretcher then put him in an ambulance. Everyone that worked with him looked at him go right in there as he was unconscious. They were glad that he was saved but now the question was is he going to be alright?
"Who's going to go with him?" asked DB Russell
"I'm going." said Morgan coming through and went past them and into the ambulance
"Finn you go and process Morgan. Sara I want you to go and document Greg's injuries." said DB Russell giving them assignments "Go!"
The two of them scrambled and left to go process and get evidence from Greg and Morgan. Everyone was silent as DB Russell, Nick Stokes, David Hodges, Jim Brass and David Phillips went up to the hotel room where there were now two crime scenes in one.
Morgan was sitting by Greg in the hospital as he was connected to machines as he was unconscious. She had tears in her eyes and leaned down as she put her head to his side. Why was this so hard for her? Was it because of her somewhat harnessing feelings for him? He didn't look great as she grabbed his hand right there and started rubbing it.
He was there for her after her helicopter got high jacked, when her father got shot, when she shot a murder who was also a serial killer, after she got kidnapped/taken hostage by Ellie, when she broke down at a crime scene and just when she was unconscious in the hospital. She was there for him when a friend of his got murdered and during the whole slaughterhouse thing. They were always there for each other no matter what. They were really good friends, they had a bond. A bond that she could not explain herself.
She kept on crying not believing this even happened to him. Why did it have to happen to him? There had to be a reason that it was her who found him and no one else. How she was there to help him to hold on longer. How she was there to comfort him.
"Morgan." said a muffled voice
She looked up and saw Greg awake as she looked at him right there. He didn't look great but she was glad that he was awake. They looked at each other for a few seconds then she clutched his hand.
"Both of us need to stop in getting so many unwanted situations." said Morgan
"Yeah." said Greg
"The doctor's said that you broke you're hand, cracked a rib, your neck got somewhat fractured but you will be okay. Nothing major happened to you." said Morgan
"I'm glad that you're here for me Morgan." said Greg right to her
"You were there for me through all my bad times or crisis. It's time that I'm there for you again." replied Morgan
"It's hard for me to move." said Greg
"It's going to be like that for a couple days then you will be able to go home and you are going to take a week off next week." said Morgan
"I can't." responded Greg
"Russell, Brass and my father already arranged it Greg." told Morgan looking right at him "You are alright. You're safe."
Greg couldn't help but smile as he looked at Morgan. The girl he has a crush on, the girl he's madly fallen for. He didn't care who her father was. It didn't matter. All that mattered is what he thought of her, see all the little things and how she cared about him. Those were reasons why he liked her not just because she was gorgeous and beautiful. She is smart and has a warm heart. And to him that's all that matters.
