PS. Please forgive this author because her English is really unpolished and my use of spelling's, punctuation marks and the like's are also not good. I am still trying to improve! So please bear with me...
A/N: I don't own GS/GSD
Cagalli looked at her bedside clock and it read as 7:49am in the morning. Three hours left before she meets up with Athrun.
The blonde closed her eyes and snuggled more comfortably on her bed. She must say that she is really looking forward today. After their fake date last time, she can't help but think that Athrun was really fun and comfortable to be with and not to mention a sweet gentleman. So she suddenly blurted out that she wanted to go to the yearly animal show on the city Zoo, half hoping that he might offer to accompany her next time. But he did not.
So she took the courage to ask him. Well she can just ask her other friends but they are not really into animals and she thought that Athrun might like it since he was all smiley and blushing when they went to the Zoo on their fake date. She was so sure that he is fond of animals too, like her.
She felt all giddy, which greatly confused her, when he agreed to come. Probably because he wanted to see the animal show too or maybe because he will be going with her.
A small smile crossed her lips as she thought of the blue haired but then her eyes snapped open cursing under her breath. Why was she thinking about him so early in the morning?
She shoved away her blanket on the bed, swinging her feet to the ground then heading straight to the bathroom. After some minutes she got out all fresh and went straight to her closet. Taking out a light green tank-top and khaki pants. She put them on before taking a brush then combing her hair. She glanced at her clock and it read 8:22am. She took a white sling bag from her closet then shoving the things that she will be needing for the day. She already bought the tickets for the animal show in advance since she had a hunch that Athrun will be paying for everything. Like last time.
She placed the bag on her body taking out a pair of white rubber shoes and putting them on before heading downstairs for breakfast.
She greeted her father who was reading a newspaper and caretaker before taking a seat on the kitchen table.
"Your early today" Merna said as she placed Food on the table. "You don't have classes, right?"
"I'm going out with a friend to the zoo." Cagalli took the toast in front of her then putting in bacon, eggs and chili sauce then taking a large bite.
"But it opens at 10:30. Aren't you too early?" Her father said as he reached out to the toast and taking a bite from it as is.
"Well I was late last time and he had to wait for me. Heck I'll let him wait again this time."
Uzumi did not comment and just nodded before going back to his newspaper.
"A boy?" Merna said with glittering eyes as she sat down on the table and ate with them. "You're meeting up with a boy?"
Cagalli nodded as she pigged out on her breakfast. "A friend from University, although were not in the same major."
"Boyfriend?" She asked, the glitter in her eyes still there. "Is he handsome? Cute?"
Uzumi spat his coffee while Cagalli choked on her food. A faint tint can be seen on her cheeks. Making Merna smile wider.
"No!" Cagalli said still blushing as she just gulps down half of her juice. "He's Kira's best friend!"
Merna just shrugged. "So what if he's the best friend of the brother who doesn't even knows he has a twin sister."
Cagalli was about to counter when the doorbell rang. Merna immediately stood up and went to get the door. Cagalli grumbled as she took another bite from her toast still blushing and unaware of her father's glances at her.
"Cagalli! Visitor!" she heard her caretaker's call.
Cagalli stood up and went to the door then gasped at what she saw.
Athrun stood at her doorstep clad in a brown trench coat, a green shirt and black pants. He was fidgeting while his head hung low. Cagalli walked closer then greeted him. Merna went back to the kitchen a smirk on her face.
"Hey." Cagalli said as she now stood in front of him. "How'd ya know my house?"
"Uhh.. I...well...asked one of you're f-friends." He lied not looking at her. "C-Ca-g-g-alli... Um I c-came because I-i need to t-tell you s-something."
"You could've just waited until we meet to tell me." she crossed her arms in front of her. "Not look for my house this early in the morning."
Athrun seemed to shrunk lower. What was happening?
"W-well. It's a-about today..." Athrun held his coat. His mouth tightly shut. Moments passed with silence.
"What is it?" Cagalli said getting a little impatient. "Are you gonna tell me that you can't go today?"
And he shrunk lower before slowly and nodding his head.
Cagalli suddenly felt a great wave of sadness and disappointment hit her. Was she disappointed that he can't go with her? Or was she disappointed at him?
She really can't say.
She frowned as her brow creased waiting for an explanation, and then sighed. It was her that asked him in the first place. So she can't actually get mad and shove the door on his face.
"What happened?" Cagalli asked her sadness and disappointment slowly going down.
"I-it's about the family business..." Athrun said still not looking up. "...I'm really, really sorry..."
Cagalli took a deep breath then exhaled. She placed on a smile. "Don't worry about it then."
Athrun took a peek at her. "You're n-not m-mad?"
"Why would I be?" She forced a its-fine smile. "Go. It's fine. No worries. I can just go back to bed or something."
Athrun bowed low at her. "I'm really, really sorry. I'll make it up to you next time!"
Cagalli held a wide grin and peace sign. "Then treat me to lunch in the cafeteria tomorrow. With two kinds of dessert!"
Athrun looked up smiling and thanked her at least three times before saying see you then walking off to his black sports car, getting in then pulling the windows down he waved at her before speeding off.
"How good is it to be rich?" She thought as she watched his shiny speeding car disappear on the streets. She closed the doors with a heavy sigh; she was really, really looking forward to today.
She went to the kitchen finishing her breakfast while ignoring Merna's enthusiastic questions about her visitor. She wondered what she should do with the tickets.
Cagalli went out of the house at exactly 9:30am thinking of who she should be inviting to go with her. Then a thought crossed her. She took out her cell phone, punching some buttons before placing it to her ear hearing the phone on the other side ring a few times before a click then a hello came.
"Hey, Kira."
