Chapter 9: Lily Evans Potter
Sorry that it's been forever, but unfortunately I've been busy. Here's Chapter 9 and I forewarn you all, you're in for a great laugh if you thought Dumbledore had thoughts of his own for Harry's future. If you actually like Dumbledore, I'm sorry. He's going to get better.
Other than that, enjoy and please review!

Harry looked at Professor Snape as he and Ginny stepped out of the fire.
"Follow me," he said and they did.
They went to the back room of the house and Harry saw his mum lying on the bed.
"How long?" he asked. Snape looked at him confused and he continued, "How long has she been here?"
"For a while after the attack, I kept her in my home until most of the Death Eaters were captured or gone. After that, I brought here almost five years ago. The house elves that live here have been taking of her as best as they can, but there is not much you can do a person in this situation."
"Why?" he asked and again at Snape's confusion he continued, "Why did you help her?"
Snape looked pained, but didn't answer.
"Let's just help her, Potter."
Harry nodded and took the vial from his robes. He pulled the stopper and took out his wand. He drew out her soul with the tip of his wand and guided it over his mum's body.
It hovered for a moment and it settled into her body where it belonged.
His mum was silent at first, but he could her chest began to rise and fall shallowly at first and then more strongly.
"Mum, mum, it's me, Harry," he said as he gripped her hand tightly.
Ginny stood behind him and she could feel his anxiety and impatience.
Lily slowly began to feel again starting from the tips of fingers and toes and slowly spreading. Once the tingling stopped, she slowly took a mental check on each of her body parts to make sure she could move and that's when she felt something holding her hand tightly.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked to the right to where something was holding her hand. It was a boy. She looked into his eyes and saw her own.
"Harry," she whispered.
His eyes filled with tears and he hugged her.
"Mum."
She held him tightly, both of them crying silently, and kissed his forehead.
"Oh, sweetheart, I missed you so much."
"I missed you too, mum. I love you."
"I love you, too, Harry, so much."
Ginny smiled as they reunited, but Snape had dropped to his knees and was staring at Lily in shock.
Lily sat up with Harry sitting in her lap and looked around. There was a red headed girl near them and she looked on the floor and saw Sev.
"Who are you?" she asked the girl.
"I'm Ginevra Weasley," she replied.
"Why are you here?"
"She came with me, mum," Harry replied. "We have a bond. We can't be far away from each other and we feel each others feelings."
Lily nodded and asked, "Weasley, Arthur and Molly's daughter?" Ginny nodded and she continued, "I was supposed to be there when you were born. I'm your godmother."
"Mum, when can we go? I want you to see Siri, Remmy, and Gabby."
"Sirius and Remus, they're alive?" she asked.
"Yeah, mum, it's a long story, but I'll explain it soon. I promise."
Lily held him close and asked, "What are you doing here, Severus?"
Snape looked up and replied, "I saved you, Lily."
"What do you mean?" she asked cautiously.
"The Death Eaters came to your house. Narcissa and I saved you and brought you here."
"Why, Sev, why did you save me?" she asked.
"Because I have always loved you, Lily, and I always will."
"Prove it, Sev," she said.
Severus took out his wand and said, "Expecto Patronum!" A doe took form in the silver mist and traveled around the room.
"Always?" she asked.
"Always, Lily."
She smiled and set Harry down carefully on the floor next to Ginny. She walked over to him and looked into his eyes.
She saw the love he'd always had for her, the joy in seeing her alive, but what she wanted to see the most and the last thing she saw, was the bond they had.
'I love you, Severus, always.'
'As I love you, Lily,' he replied the same way.
Harry and Ginny turned away as Lily kissed him gently on the lips.
'Your mum is amazing, Harry.'
'I missed her so much, Gin, just having her here makes me so happy.'
'I know, Harry.'
He smiled at her and held her hand. They turned around and saw Snape holding his mum in his arms.
"Mum, are you coming back with me?"
"To Hogwarts?" Harry nodded and she replied, "Let's here your story and then I'll decide."
He started from the beginning, where Vernon and Dudley had abused him and his Aunt Petunia had done nothing to Remus saving him and bringing him to Hogwarts to get healed to Arthur taking him in, Sirius coming to see him and getting custody of him, Ragnok running the tests for inheritance and healing when he had to stop because Lily jumped up.
"I am going to kill Albus. How dare he put spells and blocks on you. He had no right," she practically screeched. Only when Snape put his hand on her shoulder that
she stopped and sighed. "Sorry, sweetheart, continue."
He told her about Sirius teaching how to be a lord and everything he needed to learn for Hogwarts. He stopped.
"Oh yeah, mum, I believe this yours," he said and handed her her wand.
Lily smiled and pocketed it.
He continued where he stopped off and told his mum about getting his books and wand. Ginny, Rigel, Daphne, and Astoria came up a lot and finally he finished after explaining Halloween and how he brought her back.
Lily thought for a minute and said, "I am definitely coming back with you, sweetheart."
He smiled and hugged her.
"Don't leave me, mum."
"Never, Harry, I'll never leave you again."
Severus and Ginny were watching the scene as Harry finally got what he wanted.
"Lily, Harry, we must go."
Lily nodded and Harry walked next to her.
"So, Professor, does this mean you don't hate me anymore?" he asked.
Lily stopped and looked at Snape in shock.
Severus and Ginny stopped and Severus replied, "I never hated you, Harry. I missed your mum and you reminded me so much of her that seeing you every day reminded me that I couldn't do anything to save her."
Harry nodded and said, "You aren't half bad, Professor."
Sev cracked a small smile and said, "Thank you, Harry."
Lily smiled and said, "Good thing you two are getting along, I would hate for one of you to object to anything."
They all smiled and continued on to the living room to the fireplace.
"Okay, we'll be going back to my office. Lily, I know you want to go straight to Dumbledore, but we must be careful."
"Why?"
"I have a feeling that we're being watched and that someone at the school is working for the Dark Lord."
Lily gasped and asked, "Who is it?"
"The new Professor, Quirrell."
"He's working for Voldemort?" Harry asked.
"I think so, I'm not positive, but it's a definite possibility."
"Let's get back," he said.
Severus tossed floo powder into the fireplace and said, "Professor Severus Snape's office."
He disappeared and Lily turned to Harry.
"I'll see you in a moment," she said and he nodded. "Professor Severus Snape's office."
She disappeared and he tossed some floo powder in. He and Ginny stepped in.
"Professor Severus Snape's office."
They appeared in the office where Lily and Severus were waiting for them.
"Seeing as we are back in the castle, Miss. Weasley, could you please return to the Gryffindor common room?"
Ginny nodded and hugged Harry.
"I'll see you later," she said and left.
He smiled as she left and saw his mum watching him.
"We'll be having a talk later, Harry."
"Mum, you don't need to be worried. She's my best friend."
Lily nodded and Severus led them upstairs to Dumbledore's office.
"Lemon drop," he said and they walked up the stairs.
He knocked and Dumbledore called, "Please, come in."
Sev walked in first with Harry following with Lily under the invisibility cloak.
"Ah, good evening, Severus and Harry. What can I do for you this evening?"
Severus looked at Harry and nodded. Dumbledore was looking more confused by the minute. Severus and Harry had never gotten along.
"I found my mum, Professor."
"That's wonderful, Harry, but we still haven't found a way to revive her, I'm afraid."
Lily pulled off the invisibility cloak and said, "Well, it's just wonderful my son did, isn't it, Albus?"
"Lily, it's wonderful to see you, dear." he said, but his face had gotten slightly pale.
"Cut the crap, Albus, and give me one good reason I shouldn't curse you right now for the hell you have put my son through," she said with her wand drawn.
'Lily,' Sev said in her mind. 'Calm down.'
She glared and Dumbledore said, "Lily, please, I never wished any harm on Harry. Sending him to Dursley's was the only option at the time."
"You're wrong and you know it, Albus. You knew we changed secret keepers and yet you did nothing to help Sirius. Remus could have gotten custody of him, werewolf or not, and I discreetly remember something at the end of the will stating that under no circumstances was Harry to ever end up with the Dursley's. He could have gone to Minny. Hell, I would rather Sev take him in than the Dursley's, but that isn't what I'm truly mad about."
"And what would that be, dear?" Dumbledore asked looking thoroughly amused.
Harry was debating taking out his wand and Severus looked really concerned Lily was going to curse him.
"YOU SPELLED MY SON, YOU POMPOUS, ARSE! YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THAT TO HIM! HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT UP TO EMBRACE HIS ABILITIES, NOT FIGHT THEM! NOW, GIVE ME ONE GOOD FRICKEN REASON I SHOULDN'T CURSE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID!"
Dumbledore still looked amused, but fear was starting to creep into his eyes at the emerald fire in Lily's eyes. Harry looked afraid, but at the same time, amazed at his mother's strength and Severus was smirking.
"I did it to protect him, Lily. Harry didn't need to know any of the stuff yet and I would have taken the spells off once he had gotten to Hogwarts."
"That's a lie, Albus," Sev said. "You wanted Harry Potter weaker than you so you could control him."
At that, Lily sent a curse flying at Albus. If it wasn't for the fact that Harry had put up a shield charm, he would have been knocked out.
"Mum, he isn't worth it. Just let it go and we can leave."
She sighed and nodded.
"Just to let you know, Albus. If you come anywhere near my son again and if you even think of putting spell on him again, hell would be a better place for you."
Lily walked out the room with Harry and Severus following. She stopped once they were down an empty corridor and turned to her son.
"Why did you stop me?" she asked.
"I didn't want you to get in trouble and not be able to see you," he said. She sighed and hugged him.
"I love you, Harry, I'm sorry I lost my temper."
"I love you too, mum, and it's okay."
"Harry, you need to go back to your house. I do believe Mr. Black and Miss. Weasley will be looking for you in the morning," Severus said.
He nodded and said, "Okay, see you in the morning, mum."
"See you, sweetheart."
"Can I come find you in Professor Snape's office?"
"That should be fine and you can bring Rigel, Ginny, and see if Minny wants to come."
He nodded and walked back to the Ravenclaw common room under the invisibility cloak. Once he was inside, he went to his trunk and went to sleep.
Lily and Severus was a spur of the moment thought, but I think it'll turn out good. I hope you all enjoyed it.
