"No," Eddie said, crossing his hands, as Mia, Rose and Christian stood in front of him.

"Come on Eddie it won't even be you who gets the blame," Rose said, using her puppy dog eyes on him.

"Oh come on that's not fair," he huffed and then throw his arms up. "Fine I'm in."

"In on what?" Adrian asked coming to the room, followed by Jack, Sydney and Jill.

"Nothing," the four of the replied, Christian swiping a cookie and munching on it.

"So are you ready for this face off?" Jill asked, rubbing her hands together.

"We still have to get the teams organised," Sydney reminded her. Jill was unfazed as she looked at them all, excited.

"I'm sure that between team Pyro and Rosie and team Adrian and Jack they will have them figured out."

"We have ours ready," Christian smirked, him and Rose high fiving.

"Really," Jack narrowed his eyes, suspicious of them both, with good reason.

"Really," Rose replied sweetly.

Jack looked at them for a bit long before turning back to the movie Jill had put on.

Eddie, Christian, Mia, Rose and Mikael stood, huddled together. It had been snowing steadily and Adrian had challenged Rose to a snow ball fight, which ended up with her and Christian siding against Jack and Adrian until they agreed to have teams. Jack and Adrian's side consisted of the two of them, Jill, Angelia and Dimitri, while Sonya, who was five months pregnant, Lissa, Sydney and Alberta, who was visiting watched on, the unofficial referees.

"Ready?" Rose asked, smiling.

Mia grinned, holding up the dye. "When am I not?"

"All I am say is that I'm telling them all it was your idea," Eddie shook his head but dutiful started to place the dye in the middle of the snow balls.

"When have Rosie and I ever not owned up to a prank?" Christian asked as he and Mikael finished the last of their seven meter wall, Mia doing most of the work setting it up of course, Christian and Mikael just patching up a few places.

"True," Eddie admitted. "So explain to me how these is going to work again?"

"Mikael, you and I are going to be the one's throwing the snow balls of course. Jill is making them and adding the food dye while insuring the dye doesn't run and make the snow different colours. The first they are going to know about the dye is when it hits them. Christian is going to be our look out, telling us if someone tries to sneak past us. I have no doubt that Jack, Dimitri and Angela will all try."

Eddie smiled then, looking alarmingly like Rose. "This will be good."

"And of course I will go and get their flag while you engage the three of them, Christian engaging Adrian and Jill," Mia added.

"You three are devious," Eddie smiled.

"At least they are on our side," Mikael added on, shaking his head as he did so. He made a mental not to go up against any of those four. While Eddie was more honest, Mikael was under no illusion that he could be almost as devious as Mia, Rose and Christian. Sonya and Alberta told him some of what they all got up to at school.

"Start," Lissa called out. They had all decided that one of the observers would tell them when to start, just to try and keep Rose, Mia, Adrian and Christian honest.

Rose, Mikael, Eddie and Mia took cover, allowing the other side to throw first, Christian watching from the trees, occasionally making the snow balls mushier.

"Now," he called out softly, not wanting to alert the other side to his position.

As one Rose, Eddie and Mikael stood and started throwing snowballs. The first snow ball, thrown by Rose, hit Dimitri on the check, covering him in snow and red dye. The next thrown by Eddie, hit Adrian on the backside, marking him with a green mark, causing Sydney to laugh. Mikael hit Jack on the arm, causing his right sleeve to be stained blue.

"Having our own colours makes this better," Rose commented as she dogged a snow ball thrown by Angelia, and retaliated, hitting the girl on the chest.

"Makes it obvious who hit who through," Mikael replied, bending down to restock.

"That's why I'm changing it now," Mia grinned.

"You're all evil," Mikael informed her.

"Thanks," Eddie said, three meters away. Once he got into this his devilish side came out and he and Rose shared a look.

"Switch?" he asked her and she nodded.

"Switch." Quickly they changed positions, making sure no one could see them. Once in position they started to lob the snow balls, Mia guiding them to their target, Adrian.

"I'd feel sorry for him if he hadn't start this," Mia said.

"He's getting it quite easy compared to the Dhampirs," Christian called out. "They haven't tried to move yet through Jack is looking antsy."

"Dimitri is waiting for Christian to show his hand no doubt. That's what would be doing if I was them," Mikael offered as he and Eddie swapped.

"Melting?"

"Melting," they all agreed, making Christian grin.

He doesn't make it obvious start away, slowly melting the wall in areas he can see Jill didn't pack up enough.

"Hey no fire power Christian," Jack called out.

"You never said that," Rose called back.

"Not once did anyone say what the Maori couldn't and couldn't so with their powers. Aside from Adrian of course," Mia added on.

"That's not exactly fair is it?" Adrian called back.

"You should have got a fire user. You have Dimitri anyway. He grew up in the snow," Rose yelled back, nailing Dimitri in the face, again.

"You have been to Russia Rose. You know it's not like that," Dimitri shook his head.

"In the summer comrade."

"You're not going to win against her," Lissa cautioned and Dimitri ducked and threw, hitting Eddie.

"I never do."

"No one ever does," Rose laughed, just before Jack got her in the stomach, Jack then getting hit on the side of the head by Eddie.

This continued on for a good twenty more minutes, Christian becoming more obvious in his sabotage as Jill tried and failed to sabotage them.

Dimitri, Jack and Angelia decided, as they knew they would, to sneak around and get them from behind, and capturing the black scarf they used at their item. As they started to move Christian alerted his team. He moved from the three then, the other side still missing him as he came down and he took Mia's spot.

Rose, Eddie and Mikael spread out then, still aiming for the wall as they did so they wouldn't get suspicious. However Mia managed to get their red shirt before they could even engage Dimitri, Jack and Angela fully.

"We will," she sung, skipping across the field to her team.

"This isn't over," Jack warned.

"You do realise that we will have to have the same teams each time to make sure the real winners win?" Mia said sweetly.

"I'm not sure it was a good idea to let Rose and Christian choose their own teams," Dimitri said softly as they all made their way over to where Lissa, Sonya, Sydney and Alberta waited with hot drinks.

"Of course it's not. You'll have your confirmation of that when you try and get that dye off," Eddie laughed. "It's a bitch to scrub off."

"What did you do to it?" Jack asked as Jill, Sonya, Alberta and Lissa shook their heads.

"When Rose and Eddie were 10 Mason pranked Rose, Eddie helping him naturally and Rose got them back by using this special dye," Lissa explained.

"Those boys were green for a month," Alberta shook her head.

"That was a story that's been around for years," Jill added on.

Rose bowed. "I'm glad to know I was legendary even then."

"So was I," Eddie elbowed her, laughing.

"Yes but I'm still better."

"Nah I think I am for remembering and suggesting it," Christian smirked.

"Pyro you're just stealing my ideas."

"Not stealing, borrowing with your permission."

"You wish."
