A couple years down the road, Loki sighed as he looked out onto his kingdom. He was king, he was in love with a beautiful maiden, and yet the simple fact of the matter is that he was bored. He fidgeted with his hands for a bit longer, and that's when Neala found him.

"Darling, what's wrong?"

"I need something to do!" Loki yelled as he flung himself onto his bed. Neala let out a small laugh and Loki looked up at her, sneered, and buried his head back into the covers. Loki felt Neala sit next to him on the bed and gently touched his back.

"You can 'do' me, if you'd like." Neala said softly, stroking Loki's toned back. Loki sat up angrily.

"That's not what I'm talking about, and you know it." Neala sighed and looked a bit annoyed. She picked at her fingers as Loki stared at her. Suddenly, she let out a smirk and aimed it at loki.

"Maybe we should add some new members to our family tree." Loki glared at her and quickly got off the bed.

"We've talked about this, Neala." Neala got off the bed as well and placed her right hand on his chest. Her hand slowly making its way down his bare chest, following a trail of thin hair. Loki forcibly grabbed her wrist and glared at her just for a second before her threw he onto the bed and took off his trousers. He climbed onto the bed and ripped Neala's night gown off and her under things. She looked at him hungrily. He never stopped looking into her eyes as he thrust his pulsing manhood into her. She moaned and tried to throw her head back in pleasure but Loki grabbed the back of her head so he could continue to stare into her eyes while thrusting steadily.

"Loki… harder!" Loki took out all his frustration on Neala as he thrust fast and hard. Neala squirmed as she climaxed. Her climax was his undoing, and he came inside her. They were in each other's arms for a bit when Loki rolled off of her and resumed his place at the window.

"My king, what will it take to ease your mind?"

"I haven't the slightest idea."

"Well, it's not like we could conquer anything or screw something up on purpose." To this Loki was silent.

"Why did you mention conquering something?"

"Oh, I had a silly dream, that's all." Loki looked back at his wife, his queen, and smiled.

"Conquering is just what we shall do." Loki drew himself a bath and bathed himself while Neala furrowed her brow, trying to decipher what Loki meant. Loki, now fully dressed, attempted to leave the room when a worried Neala blocked his way.

"You're not going anywhere until you tell me what you're planning."

"Or, you could just come with me and find out." Loki's eye's glimmered as he challenged his wife. Neala glared at him and motioned to her naked body. "Well then, you'll just have to wait until later." Loki kissed her on the cheek and left. He felt a new found purpose walking through his palace with his idea. Neala had always helped him, and this time was no different. The perfect way to cure my boredom is to expand Asgardian territory, Loki thought. He cleared his face and body of emotion as he approached the leader of his military. The man stood as straight as he could and bowed low when Loki stopped in front of him.

"Good sir, I bring you orders."

"Yes, my king. What are they?"

"You are to assemble the military, we are going to war shortly." The man looked shocked but did not dare question Loki, so off he went to spread the word. Neala ran after Loki and punched him in the arm.

"What are you planning? Tell me!"

"I'm simply expanding Asgardian territory." Neala's face grew white with anger.

"Where?!" Is all she could manage to get out.

"Where better than your homeland?" Loki smiled, Neala's jaw dropped. Neala grabbed Loki and pulled him into the nearest empty room.

"Loki, no!"

"Why not? We could unite the two worlds."

"Why not? Oh, no reason. Just that I relinquished my right to rule over that land to be with you! We are at peace with Alfheim, why not just let them be?"

"My lady, I am bored beyond belief. I need something new to strive after. I am a king, am I not? Conquering is what kings do. The realms are at peace with each other for the first time and frankly I can't stand it. I need a little chaos, Neala. Since that boy took over Alfheim its military has been all but destroyed because he thinks he does not need it. It should be a relatively easy take over, with minimum casualties." Neala started crying and said nothing to stop him. They stood there like that for what seemed like forever before Loki reached out to wipe away her tears. Neala pushed away his hand and left him standing there. He didn't go after her because he figured she had to think about it. Loki spent the rest of the day in an excited haze while he was surrounded with the sounds of readying soldiers.

When the time came, he retired for the evening. He walked into his room and found Neala staring blankly out the window. Loki came up behind her, grabbed her at the hips, and kissed her neck. She didn't refuse his advances, but she didn't consent to it either. Loki sighed and wrapped his arms around her.

"You have stood by my side through everything and I would love to have you by my side for this. I know you are against it, but please support me anyway. I love you, Neala. You're my queen, I'd be lost without you." Neala smiled sadly as she turn around in his arms to meet his gaze. Her sad eyes told Loki she still didn't like what he was doing, but she loved him and therefore she would stay by his side. She rested her head on his chest and sighed.

It was two months before Asgard's army was ready to take over Alfheim. All Loki needed to do was give the order. Neala sat on the bed, realizing for the first time how long it's been since the idea first crept into Loki's mind. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, but this time the amount of time shocked her because she had not menstruated in those two months. She felt different, and she knew exactly what that meant. Someone, Neala assumed Loki, walked quietly into the room.

"I'm glad you're not still in bed, my lady! I have planned a picnic for us." Neala turned around and was greeted by Loki with a pretty blue flower.

"I'm pregnant." Neala blurted out, not being able to keep it in any longer. The happiness drained out of Loki's face, replaced with shock and panic.

"A-are you sure?"

"Yes, Loki. I'm sure." Loki's expression changed from shock to pure panic. "Call off this invasion, Loki. You'll have no time for boredom in a few months' time."

"No. This invasion is happening. I just have a new goal to be done with it by the time you give birth." Neala sighed but was relieved that he was taking the news relatively well. Neala accepted his flower and beamed at him.

"So what about this picnic?" This seemed to snap Loki out of his panic and he led the way out to the palace gardens. The fresh air calmed Neala's nerves as she walked along side Loki. They were silent the whole way there. They stopped at a clearing in the garden where a blanket was laid out with a basket of food beside it.

"Well, I brought some of the best mead for us to have a toast with, but I guess we'll toast with water instead."

"You can toast with it, my king. I'll just have water." Neala smiled softly as she sat down on the blanket. Loki poured himself a glass of mead and Neala a glass of water before joining her and handing her the glass of water. They both raised their glasses.

"To our unborn child." Neala toasted, and took a sip of water. Loki damn near drained his glass of mead. "Darling, this news really isn't so bad."

"'So bad'? I'll have to kill anyone who witnesses the birth of our child because it will be blue! How will we explain why our baby is blue? We can't! I'll have to disguise the baby just as I was when I was found." Neala put a hand on his shoulder to calm him enough to stop talking.

"It will be fine, Loki. Just promise me you'll protect our child no matter the cost." Loki looked at Neala's stomach and then into her eyes.

"I promise." Neala smiled and kissed Loki passionately. After the soothing kiss, Loki served the food to Neala and to himself, enjoying the nice spring day.

Loki rode into Alfheim and straight to its king.

"What is wrong, has the peace in the nine realms been broken?"

"Relinquish your throne to me and I shall not harm anyone." Loki said with a stern face.

"What? No! This is my kingdom, and no one is taking this away from me!"

"Very well, then." Loki drew his sword and thrust it through the boy king's chest. The last look on his face was of betrayal. Loki pulled his blade out and called for anyone else to intervene with his rule over Alfheim. No one challenged the blood-covered Loki. Loki pulled the former king's body out of the throne and took his seat while all the others, including the Asgardian soldiers, looked on in horror.

Neala heard news of what Loki had done and did not know who to turn to. Frigga and Odin did not know about any of what was going on, and if they did Loki would be imprisoned before she could even finish explaining. No, she needed someone who she could trust with her life. She locked her bedroom door and resumed a stance to separate her mind and body in order to travel. Once separated, she found Midgard and in turn, Ehrlo.

"Ehrlo, I need your help once again."

"Neala? What's wrong?"

"Loki has taken over Alfheim and I need him to get out of there and there is no one else I can go to but you."

"I will assess the situation there myself and then I will fix it, in your honor."

"Thank you, I owe you my life." Neala became one with her body once again. She felt incredibly guilty for going to Ehrlo without Loki knowing, but she wanted Loki to stop so she can raise their baby with him instead of in the memory of him. Neala started crying and she fell to the floor filled with shame. She fell asleep there and woke with a start a few hours after. When she woke visions clouded her eyesight. She knew it was the future, so she relaxed and let the visions take over. She saw blurred figures dueling and finally one of them thrust a sword through the other's chest. Instead of bleeding red, the figure bled green. Then a vision of Thor and the warriors flashed before her eyes. Neala ran as fast as she could to the Bifrost which was pretty quick for her being seven months pregnant. She ordered Heimdall to send her to Alfheim and he did not have a choice, so he did. She was then suddenly surrounded by destruction. She did not let that phase her because she had her eyes set on another goal. She found an Asgardian soldier and demanded to be told where Thor and the warriors were. Thor and the warriors had no choice but to fight in this war since they were sworn to protect Asgard. Neala knew they all resented Loki, and she also knew they would do anything to stop this fighting even if it were treason. She soon found them and they were very shocked to see her.

"What are you doing here? This is no place for a pregnant woman!"

"It is when you are planning to kill my husband!" Thor looked shocked but gathered his courage.

"We were not planning on killing him, we were planning on imprisoning him. I would not be able to kill my own brother, my queen." Neala furrowed her brow and was extremely confused. She could tell when Thor was lying, and he was telling the truth to her now. A chill ran down her spine as she realized it was not Thor that would kill Loki, it was someone else entirely.

Loki patrolled Alfheim's palace like a serpent. His eyes darting every which way, waiting for an attack. The citizens of Alfheim revolted like he never thought they would and were making attempts on Loki's life. Countless people have been killed, most of them elves. Loki felt no remorse for them. After all, they could have simply accepted Loki's rule over their world. Loki stopped walking to look out one of the palace's huge windows. He smiled at the destruction and chaos he was spreading. He was beginning to worry that he wouldn't be done in time to see his child born. He sensed somebody fast approaching him so he drew his battle sword and turned to greet the brave stranger. Loki grew very confused when he recognized the stranger.

"Ehrlo? What are you doing here?"

"You have destroyed my homeland and put Neala at risk of being killed, therefore your punishment, from me, is death." Ehrlo drew his sword and charged Loki. Loki filled with rage as he fended off Ehrlo. He blocked blow after blow until his sword shattered. "Asgardian steel is no match for the elves, Loki. There is no way out."

"You kill me and my legacy will live on and there is nothing you can do about that!" Ehrlo raised his sword and charged at Loki one final time. Ehrlo only stopped when he felt the hilt of his sword stop from hitting flesh. He looked his victim in the eyes and immediately ran backwards. He thought he had stabbed Loki, but it was Neala who took his blade to her chest. She fell to the ground as blood poured out of her. Loki screamed and held her in his arms.

"No, no. This can't be happening! Neala stay with me, stay with me, darling. I love you." Loki started crying as Neala lay dying in his arms.

"Loki… stay st-strong. For me. I will always l-love you. G-good night, my king…." Neala let out her last breathe and lay still in Loki's arms. Loki wimpered and shook her as if she were only sleeping. He was supposed to be there for her. He was supposed to raise a child with her. Now all that is gone. After some time, Loki took a deep breath and placed Neala on the ground. He stood up and glared at Ehrlo.

"Look what you have done! You wanted to kill me because I put her in danger but instead you were her demise! You!" Loki screamed and charged Ehrlo, tackling him to the ground with his hands around Ehrlo's neck. Loki didn't stop strangling Ehrlo until his eyes popped out of his head. When Loki released Ehrlo's body from his grasp he slowly stood and made his way back to Neala. He fell to his knees in front of her body and sobbed.

Several weeks later, Loki had the thrown taken away from him for committing such awful crimes against Alfheim. Odin took rule again as the nine realms slipped back into chaos. The only reason Loki was not executed was because Frigga did not want him to be. He would always be her little boy in her eyes, and she could not help but to feel extremely sorry for him as he was led to his prison cell.

Some, or all, of you probably hate me for killing off Neala. Sorry! This ending actually sets up another fan fiction I will be writing, stemming from this story. I'll post the first chapter of that story in here and if you're interested you should find the story (I'll give you the name) and follow it! Thanks!
