Grace Williams was grateful she had her friend and her mom there with her. She was so so scared. She wished she had been with her dad when the bad men pulled out their guns. But he was trying to stop the men. She wanted to cry as she watched the man hurt her daddy and take him away from her many times. Grace knew that her dad had to deal with bad men all the time but she never thought she would see if first hand. Her Danno had always told her that he would protect her and be there for her and she also knew that her Uncle Steve would be there too. But right now she felt alone. The bad man had taken her Danno away from her once more. She tried to stop the tears in her eyes as he made her dad go back into the kitchen. Kate had seen the scared look on her face and had pulled both the girls closer to her.
"Don't worry girls. It will be alright." Kate said.
"Shut up." Charlie called over to them.
"They are frightened. They are only children." Kate said.
"When I was that age I was out there fending for myself. I wasn't frightened."
"They are not you." Kate replied. Grace looked around the room, hoping to see her Danno return. But no one moved. The people around her all looked scared too. She closed her eyes and silently prayed. She prayed that her Danno was okay and that he would save everyone. She prayed no one else would get hurt.

Danny was starting to get a bit sick and tired of Shane pushing him about. The man was younger then him and Danny knew he could take him, but with the lives of people at stake, he didn't want to risk anything. Shane pushed Danny back into the kitchen once more and Danny had to stop himself from falling over as Shane pushed him towards the stove.
"What is with the pushing?" Danny asked him. Shane stepped closer to him, staring at him intently.
"Well I am the one with the gun, so I can pretty much do what the hell I like"
"Why are you here? You aren't here to rob the place so why?" Danny asked him.
"What is it with you and your constant need to know stuff that doesn't concern you? It's kind of annoying."
"Because I want to understand, I want to help."
"Well Dr Phil, you can't help. Now get on with what we came out here to do." Shane said. Danny glanced down at the body once more.
"We should move him." Danny said. Shane leaned back slightly on the cooker behind him, his gun pointing towards Danny.
"Get to it." Shane said.
"You are gonna make me move him by myself?" Danny asked.
"You are a big butch cop, I am sure you can cope." Shane said. Danny grit his teeth and used every ounce of energy not to reply to that. He looked around and saw a door beside a large refrigerator.
"That could be a storage room." Danny said. Shane moved towards it, keeping his eyes on Danny all the time. He tried the door and peeked inside. Satisfied it was a store room he opened the door and stepped aside.
"Drag him in there." Shane said. Danny reluctantly walked over to the body. Putting his arms under the armpits of the man, Danny slowly dragged the body over to the store room. The body was heavy and it took some time for Danny to move the body to the room.
"Hurry up." Shane demanded.
"Its heavy. You want me to rush, then help me." Danny said.
"You are doing just well without me." Shane said. Danny huffed and pulled the body into the small store room. Danny turned back and looked at the blood trail across the room.
"We should clear that up too." Danny said.
"No we…you." Shane indicated a mop and bucket. Within minutes Danny had cleared up what he could and put the mop and bucket beside him. Danny kept his grip on the mop and all of a sudden he brought it up and hit Shane's side. Shane dropped his gun and it flew over the side of the kitchen floor. Danny reacted first and rushed for it. But Shane used the mop handle and tripped Danny up. Danny hit the ground hard, the side of his head connecting hard with the tiled floor. Taking advantage of the dazed detective, Shane ran to the corner of the kitchen when the gun had ended up. He picked it up and quickly turned towards Danny. Danny was still on the ground, trying to shake the blurred vision from his mind.
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't shoot you right now!" Shane screamed.
"Okay…I am sorry…I…" Danny said. Shane crouched down beside him.
"One reason!" He whispered in Danny's ear. Danny didn't reply. Shane grabbed him by the arm and pulled him up. He dragged him over to the large refrigerator and shoved him against it. He placed his gun against Danny's temple. "Unless you want me to rip apart that pretty little girl of yours, do not move a muscle."
"You…." Danny started to say. Shane looked at him and Danny knew he needed to stay quiet. Shane kept his gun pointed at Danny as he looked into the store room. It wasn't clear to Danny what Shane was trying to do. Danny wanted to rush him again but he knew it was pointless. He was feeling dizzy and had nowhere near the strength and co-ordination to win against Shane and his gun. Danny leaned his head back against the unit behind him, closing his eyes for a brief second. Shane looked into the store room and found a box of decorations. He pulled out a length of string and stood in front of Danny.
"I don't think now is the time for Arts and Crafts." Danny said. Shane grabbed his arm and turned him around, pushing his front against the cold unit. He pulled Danny's hands behind his back and used the string to tie them together. "Hey…what!" Danny said, the string almost cutting into his skin. Shane dug the gun into Danny's back and pulled hard on his tied hands.
Danny closed his eyes when he heard the gun being cocked.
