While a soothing song played, Mindfang wrapped her arm around Summoner's neck and held his hand as they danced. When he lifted her up and spun her around, their eyes met and for that split second their hearts synchronized. They danced as one, like they knew what the other person was thinking and how they moved. Summoner got lost his thoughts as he pictured Mindfang in his mind. He imagined how their wedding would be like but then shook it off as a false fantasy. He tripped and dropped her then hit a wall face first.

"Are you alright, Summoner?" Mindfang asks in concern but it was masked with a low, smooth laugh.

"Yeah, I busted my forehead and I think it's bruised? Do you have any ice?" He says in pain while holding his forehead.

"I think so…" she goes off and looks into her mini freezer and found a bag of ice. This was from the time she got punched in the eye from a "blind bitch".

She placed the pack of ice on his forehead then he winced in pain as he hissed. "Sorry, I'll be gentle." She hushed, touching the pack onto his forehead.

Gazing at her, she distracted him from the pain. "Gentle? That isn't your forte, did Mindfang go through some changes?" Summoner joked.

"There is nothing wrong with change. And I'm still the same old Mindfang but something has gotten me to… think." She smiles as she never broke the gaze with Summoner.

Behind the cracks of the door, Dualscar saw and heard the whole thing. He sickened him to see the woman he loved dancing, talking, having a moment with another man. In anger and jealousy, he stormed off.

Checking her watch, it occurred to Mindfang that she needed to meet Dualscar to have a discussion about the assassination of Dave Strider.

"Dualscar," she called, "Dualscar!" She called more loudly and grabbing him by his shoulder.

"What? What is it that you could possibly want?" He shouted in rage.

"A plan for the assassination of Dave Strider. You do remember that we needed to talk about this, right?"

"Yeah, and you know what else we should talk about? Nitram."

"You mean that kid that smells like a baby powder and has an obsession with meaningless cards that have animals with powers on them?"

"No, your boyfriend. That guy you keep having goo-goo eyes over? That guy."

"Summoner?" She paused. "But he's not my so-called 'boyfriend'. He's just a colleague."

Dualscar stares at her and mumbles "whatever".

Mindfang went all out on the plan to assassinate Dave. She made charts on how many options there are to kill him and even more charts on how she'd go about not getting caught. She went on and on about getting away with murder. Dualscar couldn't help but crack a smile despite being mad. He loved hearing her speak and watching as her eyes glow with passion of slaughter. He loves seeing her smiling with a murderous passion in between her laughs.

"So what do you think?" She asks.

"...It's brilliant!" Dualscar exclaimed, not knowing what she said or meant.

"Perfect! I'm going with that plan. Wish me luck." She exits the room and left Dualscar alone.

She left the old abandoned building with Dualscar's sniper rifle and Kurloz. They needed to do a little bit of pursuing today.

Jake fumbled to take his keys to unlock the door but the door opened and a fist came in contact with his face. The punch knocked him out cold.

He woke up to find himself tied to a chair with a sock in his mouth. Mindfang slapped him out of it. "Hey!" She shouted.

"Don't be so loud Mindfang." Kurloz complained, which was ironic considering him to be a very loud guy.

She rolled her eyes, "anyways, Jake, we want you to kill someone for us or we kill you. It's simple."

Jake muffled with the sock in his mouth. Kurloz took it out and threw it on the ground. "An assassin is asking me to kill someone?"

"I'm not asking, I'm telling you that you have to kill someone for us, if you don't we kill you."

"Who are we talking about?" Jake asks.

"Dave Strider. Now we know you're fucking with that kid's brother, so this should be easy."

"Wha- Are you crazy? I can't do that, Dirk will hate me forever."

Mindfang smacked English across the face, "next time your head will pop right off."

Kurloz tapped Mindfang on the shoulder and whispered something in her ear. She grinned. "I have an idea, how about you make Dirk kill Dave?"

"No. No! I can't. Dave is his only family. And-" Mindfang interrupted Jake by shooting at the ceiling.

"The next shot will be at you. Now, you will kill Dave Strider or have his brother do it."

"Why can't you do it yourself?" Jake asked.

"Are you crazy? Have you any idea what rank Dirk Strider is? He'll come after us if any one of my men where to murder anyone in his family. That's why you should do it."

"I already said no." Jake grumbled.

"Fine, have it your way. Kurloz." Mindfang leaves as Kurloz was left to stay with Jake.

The next day after that, Dirk came looking for Jake and found his body all tortured and broken. Jake's hands had knives through them and whip marks on his bare chest. His face was all bruised and had cut marks on them. Dirk dropped on his knees as tears fell from the sockets of his eyes. He took his glasses off and took something out of his pocket. He opened the little box.

"I was gonna ask if... if you'd marry me." Dirk placed the ring on Jake's ring finger.

As he was about to leave, Dirk noticed there was a note behind the door. It was written in blue ink. It read: Kill Dave.

Kurloz stood behind a glass window in a very high building as he was in control of Dirk's mind and body. He ordered for Dirk to kill Dave.

"I can't. I can't do it. He's my brother. I can't kill my brother." When Kurloz heard those words it was like something changed his mind. He released Dirk.

"What are you doing?" Mindfang shouted. She ignored Kurloz and went for the kill. She took her rifle and shot Dirk when she was originally supposed to hit Dave. Again as she was going to aim for Dave this time, he dodged her attack. She noticed that Dave was staring directly at her so she fled.

Dave took his bro's sword and left the roof.

Realizing what he just did, Kurloz used mind-control to make the police men hunt for the Strider kid. Mindfang left him and went back her hideout as she bit her nails. For whatever reason, she felt so nervous.
