So hey friends! I have returned with yet another wonderful chapter for everyone! I have realized that Tammy is becoming a little Mary-Sue-ish so I am working on getting her back to normal person level in the next few chapters. I'm also putting some work into starting three new fan fictions, but they will not go up until this story is almost over. I hope you enjoy! Please review!

I do not own POTC, I only own my characters.

We had to jog to catch up with Jack. "Jack, do you even know where you're going?" I asked.
"No, luv, but tha's the magic of it." He replied with a mischievous glint in his eye. I scoffed.
"I wish you wouldn't call me that. And I thought you were looking for mister Gibbs." I offered.
"Ah yes, luv you were gonna show me the way to yer ship." He said.
I stumbled. "I don't really know how to get there. My friend Li Wang was gonna meet me after class and take me back to the ship." I smiled nervously.
"Really, well can ye at least describe the place where you're docked. Maybe we can find it together." Dani offered.
"I don't know, there was a dock, and some little shops around, but I didn't see anything special." I said uncertainly. Jack clapped a hand on my shoulder. I jumped, but he didn't seem to notice.
"Well then, lets go see the town! We can show you around." He started to swagger off in another random direction. JohnDavid, Dani, and I shrugged and started after him. Jack started rambling about some random places that we passed. I couldn't help but notice that JohnDavid didn't say anything. I snuck a glance at him as we walked. He was just glowering at the back of Jack's head. I smiled at him and he smiled back, but it seemed to be just a shadow of a smile.
As we headed through the streets, I marveled at how modernized Shipwreck Cove was. Despite a large pile of pirate ships in the middle. I had always thought pirates were slobs and didn't know how to be civilized. My stay on The Empress had made me realize that I was wrong, but this sealed the deal. The people here were very nice and smiled at us as we said, 'hello' to people Jack and Dani knew. JohnDavid was still quiet and only smiled or nodded slightly at some people who directly said, 'hello' to him.
"Well, I'm starvin' luv. I think we should stop someplace ta eat. Ah, here looks like a great place." Jack said and I saw a little fruit vendor cart.
I looked at Dani and JohnDavid, "Do you even know what time it is?"
JohnDavid smiled genuinely and pulled out an average-looking pocket watch. "It's about noon, so this would be the time we would be eating in class."
"Where did you get that pocket watch?" I asked, I couldn't hold back the curiosity.
"My mother gave it to me a couple months ago, on our birthday. She said she nicked it from some guy when she was younger, and just beginning to sail with Jack's daddy." He looked a little smug.
"Are ye gonna quit chit-chattin,' cuz if we're gonna do this, we're gonna need full attention." Jack butted in. JohnDavid went back to his glowering self. Jack walked up to the street vendor and looked at the old man sitting on a barrel behind it. He looked like he was about to fall asleep. Jack turned and looked at us.
"Alright, if we're gonna do this, then we'll have ta be quiet." He looked at me specifically.
"Wait, what are we doin'?" I asked.
"Stealin' some apples." Replied Dani.
"Can't we just buy them?" I asked.
Jack looked at me strangely, "Luv, we all are skint broke, unless ye have a better idea?"
"What if we wait till he falls asleep?" I suggested.
Jack looked up and down the street, there was nobody there. "Listen luv, we don't have much time before more people come down here and then we'll lose our chance."
"What if I sung him to sleep?" Everybody stared at me. "I know a song my mother taught me. She used to sing it to me all the time when I was little before I went to bed. Until it gave me nightmares."
"How can a lullaby give someone nightmares?" asked JohnDavid.
"I didn't say it was a lullaby, I said it was a song. It is a song about pirates that my mother heard when she was a little girl. But all my friends' parents were prejudiced against pirates, and my friends would always talk about what their parents were saying. Pretty soon, I was getting nightmares about it. So mother stopped singing it to me before bed."
"Well, luv, can ye sing it or not? Cuz if ye can, I'd be gettin' it done quick."
"Okay." I said. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and started to sing.

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort and pilfer, we filch and we sack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

At this point, the man was asleep and snoring softly to prove it. But, I couldn't leave this song unfinished, and it felt good to sing it again.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char and enflame and ignite.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villains and knaves.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, we're really bad eggs.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do-well cads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.

I opened my eyes as the last note died on my lips. My new friends' mouths were hanging wide open along with their eyes. Dani was the first to recover. She shook her head to clear it.
"Tammy, you have a really great voice." Her voice seemed to snap the boys out of their trance.
"Thanks." I said. "Are we gonna take the apples? Or are we gonna wait for this guy to wake up?" Jack grabbed four apples off the cart and ran off.
Dani looked at me, "Let's go" and she ran off after Jack with me and JohnDavid close behind her. We caught up with Jack when he finally stopped by an old building. He sat against the wall and started eating.
"Where are we?" I asked, looking around. The area was almost deserted, with run-down shacks and huts. There was mud and dust everywhere.
"This be an abandoned home, I come here often when I'm bored or want some peace." Jack replied. "It be a great place to relax." We sat down to eat our apples. I was surprised that they didn't taste bad, everyone says when something is acquired by a dishonorable means, it isn't as great as if it was acquired by a better means. We sat and ate in silence until...
"JACK! Look Bre, It's Jack!" I groaned. If we had to meet anybody around here, anybody at all, they would be at the bottom of the list. Dead. Last. Anybody would be better than them. The look on JohnDavid and Dani's faces seemed to echo my thoughts. Jack, however was a different story.
"Fuschia, Breanna! What be ye doin' 'round 'ere?" He said, wrapping his arms around each of their shoulders. "Not that I don't mind, o' course." If you thought JohnDavid's glare from earlier was dark, that was nothing compared to the one he wore now. The girls giggled at Jack's words. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"What is she still doing here?" Screeched Breanna. On, second thought, it sounded more like a bunch of angry cats hanging off of a chalkboard.
"I could ask you the same question, hussy!" I sneered. I felt as if I'd been struck then. What would my friends think of me now? Hanging out with pirates. And not to mention I had only been here a few hours and I'd already thieved and called someone a horrible name. The worst Madison had ever done was call the not-so-popular kids loners or awkward or even teachers' pets. I just went from little-miss-perfect (according to Madison,) to calling someone a hussy.
Breanna huffed indignantly and angrily. "Ya wanna go?!" I was now too riled up to listen to my better thoughts. Or hear Dani's protests, or see JohnDavid's expression change to worried, or see Jack being, well, Jack.
"Yeah. You're on!" I'd seen some fights at school and people who have been in them have said it just becomes instinctual to defend yourself.
She smirked evilly, "Good. I hope you're ready." And she pulled a knife out of her boot. A knife! Out of her boot! I suddenly realized that I didn't want to fight her. I gulped and took a step back, prepared to run if I had to.
"Jack was suddenly behind me. "Ye have ta do this now, luv. You engaged in fight with 'er. Now ya gotta follow through."
"But she has a knife. A knife, Jack. I signed up for a fight, not a knife fight."
"Whats the difference?" I looked at Dani, she was pale but she agreed with Jack, I had to do this.
"But I don't have a knife." He looked at me.
"I can fix that. Here." I felt a cold pressure in my hand. I looked down at the knife in my hand. I was unlike any knife I've seen before. The handle was slightly curved and was made out of some kind of black wood-bone material. The blade was also slightly curved, but in an elegant way that only the metal blades can.
"Okay. Since you're finally ready, let's go." I gulped again but stood my ground. I saw Fuschia pass Jack some thing and he looked at it and placed it on the barrel that was suddenly between them. Then he added something from his own pocket. I paled. They were taking bets.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh!" My head snapped up at the war cry. I steadied my self.
Breanna charged.

So there you are! Chapter 7. I can't believe we're this far already. I want to extend a special thanks to The Angel Of Darkness 132 for inspiring me to finish this chapter with my busy schedule. Also I would like everyone to keep the people involved in the Navy Yard shooting of Monday, September 16 and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
