I'm apologizing again again! T.T Sorry ~ Please don't hurt me...

And I hope you like this chapter ^_^

The first thing they thought of was going to the hospital; they figured that was where Roxas would be, judging by his recent sadness and need to stay by Sora's side. They therefore rushed to their car and drove as fast as they could according to the speed limit towards the hospital. As soon as Axel had stopped the engine, Demyx rushed out of the car and ran into the hospital; Axel followed him as fast as he could. Before the lady behind the desk could ask them where they were going, Demyx walked past her into the elevator that were about to close. Axel on the other hand tended to stop and tell the lady that they were just going to visit someone, before patiently waiting for the elevator to come back down.

When Axel finally got up to the right floor and got into the right room, he found Demyx standing hopelessly dumbfounded just inside the door, as if he had seen a ghost.

"What's wrong, hon'?" Axel sweetly asked, and snuck his arm around Demyx' neck. "What did you see?"

Demyx didn't answer right away. But when he did, it was with a silent whisper. "He's not here. My baby's not here. Axel, Roxas is not here!" he raised his voice, panicking, as he turned to Axel.

Axel could see tears forming in his eyes, and tried to calm him down. "Shh, it's okay, it's okay. Just because he's not here, doesn't mean he's lost. We'll find him. Maybe he's just out to get some snacks, he'll probably walk in the door in a minute."

"No, Axel! He won't. He's not here!" Demyx said hysterically.

"Okay, fine," Axel said, trying not to raise his voice, knowing that if he did, Demyx would just start to lose it all. "We'll look somewhere else. Okay?" Demyx nodded. "Now, let's just go to the lady downstairs by the desk, and ask her to look after a little boy with blonde hair, okay? See if she's seen our son, sounds good?" Demyx nodded again and with their arms around each other, they left the room.

As soon as the two of them had left the room, a sigh was heard and a little head peaked out from under the bed.

"Are they gone?" Roxas said, as if anyone would answer him. "Oh, good! I thought we were going to get catched." Roxas crawled out and sat on a chair by Sora's bed. "I'm glad you didn't tell on me; I would be so dead if they knew." He smiled to Sora. He knew that he couldn't answer him, but it was easier to pretend that he could hear him.

Roxas hadn't actually gone into the school; right after his dad's car was gone, he ran out of the gate and towards the hospital. And when he heard the elevator pling open, he peaked out the door and saw his pappy, and therefore hurried and hid under the bed. He didn't want to get caught, 'cause he didn't want to go to school, and all he wanted was for Sora to get better, and he wanted to be there for him if he woke up.

"You know, Sora," he said with a smile as he took the other boy's hand. "It would be a lot easier if you just woke. Then I didn't have to talk to myself and we could go back to school again. Not that I miss it or anything, just because of my dad and pappy; I don't want them to be mad at me for not going to school, although they already are." Roxas pouted. "Please just wake up. I miss you."

Back at school Zexion was thinking about his friend. He figured that it was too hard for him to go to school and that Demyx and Axel had let him stay at home to get back on his feet again. And he felt sad that such a little boy should go through this pain. Zexion knew that Sora probably would heal and wake up again, but he just didn't know how long it'd take and he hated the thought of Roxas being devastated for so long. Therefore when Zexion finally got free from school, he decided to go to Roxas' place; to make him think of something else.

But when he reached the house and knocked on the door, nobody opened. He tried again, without result. Weird, he thought, and turned around to leave again. Maybe he's at the hospital.

Zexion headed to the hospital by walk; he had no bike, no money and basically enjoyed a good walk. It took about twenty minutes in relaxed pace and he went inside the double door, to be greeted by the lady behind the desk.

"Hello," she greeted. "Are you here to visit somebody?"

"Uh, yeah," Zexion said. "I'm here to visit Sora."

"Are you family?"

"Um... no, but we're close friends," Zexion lied.

"Aha." She checked the computer and explained where he could find him.

Zexion quickly got up the floors by elevator and found the room Roxas' cousin was in. He entered and found Roxas sitting on a chair by the hospital bed. Roxas twitched in his seat when the door opened, and almost fell off by surprise.

"Zexion?!" he shrieked. His heart raced because of the sudden action by the door, but slowly it found itself back into pace, when he found out it was only Zexion. "What are you doing here?!"

"Hey, Roxas!" Zexion smiled. Then he looked suspicious at him. "Why did you just twitch by surprise when I opened the door? Did I scare you?"

"Oh, no! I just... um, didn't think to see you here, that's all." Roxas tried with a convincing smile. "How are you?"

"I'm fine... and how are you?" Zexion got closer and sat on the bed. "Oh, if you don't mind me sitting here?"

"Go ahead," Roxas said. "I'm fine. But seriously what are you doing here? Did my dad and pappy tell you to do this?"

"Do what?" Zexion furrowed his eyebrows.

"Come here..."

"Why would they tell me to do that?" Zexion looked examining at Roxas. "Roxas, is something wrong?"

"No! Why would anything be wrong?!" Roxas stood and walked to the only window in the room, to look out searching for his dad's car.

"Because you're acting all weird and on an inch... Did you do something that you weren't supposed to? Are they mad at you for something?" Zexion slowly walked towards Roxas.

"No, when do I ever do something wrong, Zexion?" Roxas tried with a crooked smile and a twinkle in his eyes.

Zexion huffed. "Roxas, you're a good kid and I'm only trying to look out for you. Remember I'm there for you, no matter what."

Roxas sighed and pondered over something. Then he sat back down on the chair with another heavy sigh. "Fine. Zexion, sit down." Zexion did as he was told, and looked patiently at the younger boy. "I ran away." Zexion looked like he was about to say something, but Roxas hurried and continued. "My dad and pappy thought I was at school, but now they're looking for me. I don't know where to go, 'cause the hospital is closing and I don't want to go home. Can I stay at your place?"

Zexion sat still for a moment. He didn't want to go against his little friend, but there were things he needed answers to. "Why did you run away, Roxas?"

"Because! I didn't want to go to school! I wanted to be there when Sora wakes up." Roxas took Sora's hand, who was still fast asleep. Zexion looked at the scene with aching in his heart.

"Roxas... you know that... it's not completely... certain... that Sora's going to... wake up..." It was so hard for Zexion to say those words, especially to such a small kid. But it was true though, and he couldn't bear the thought of Roxas having all his hopes up, when it wasn't sure it was going to come true. Zexion and all the others sincerely wished that they knew Sora was going to be all okay again, but nothing could be known. And somebody had to tell Roxas.

"No! He is going to be okay! He is going to wake up! Soon! And I am going to be there when he does! He has to know that there is still one that has hopes for him!" Roxas felt a sting in his eyes and he knew that the tears were setting. He didn't want his best friend to know his weakness again, so he stormed out the room, leaving Zexion with open mouth and sorrow in his eyes.

"Roxas!" he called, but he knew he could hear him now. He wanted to follow, but at the same time he knew that Roxas just needed a little time on his own.

At that moment a soft noise was heard.
