Surprise Surprise!
Well you're a real hot cookie with a new hairdo
Your high heel boots and your credit card
Long legs and a mini skirt
Yeah you know what works and you work it hard
You smile like such a lady innocent and sweet
You drive the men folk crazy,
But any girl can see
You're just a
Home wrecker
I know what you're doin'
You think you're gonna ruin what I got, But you're not
Yeah you little go getter
I'll teach you a lesson
If you get to messin' with my man
You don't stand a chance
No, you're just a home wrecker
I'm sure you waited for a long, long time
To find a man like mine
But honey you're too late
So before you go and make your move
Maybe me and you should get a few things straight
There's two ways we can do this
I'll let you decide
You can take it somewhere else or we can take it outside you little
Home wrecker
I know what you're doin'
You think you're gonna ruin what I got, But you're not
Yeah you little go getter
I'll teach you a lesson
If you get to messin' with my man
You don't stand a chance
No, you're just a home wrecker
Now honey I'm a Christian, But if you keep it up
I'm gonna go to kickin' your pretty little butt
Is that clear enough yeah, you little
Home wrecker
I know what you're doin'
You think you're gonna ruin what I got, But you're not
Yeah you little go getter
I'll teach you a lesson
If you get to messin' with my man
You don't stand a chance
No, you're just a home wrecker

I opened my eyes to the bright sunlight streaming in I stretched arching my back and squeaking. My sheets felt different, I rolled back into a cold wall. I then realized that I was naked and the memories of the night before came flooding back to me. I froze I felt him breathing down my neck and his fingers in my hair. I smiled and turned to face him. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in my neck. "Carlisle," I giggled. "I need to get up! Your kids are probably here already." I pushed away to no avail.
"Well of course they are! They got home about four this morning." He smiled and held me tighter. I struggled against him for a moment.
"Wait," what he had said just registered to me. "They're HERE?" I hissed. "Do they know about me? I can't leave your bedroom with them here!" I finally pushed free of him and jumped out of bed. I rushed around looking for my underwear. I yanked my dress on and dug in my purse for a hair tie. I ran to the nearest mirror and pulled my hair up. My make up was everywhere. I did my best to wipe it off. I searched for my shoes, I found one next to the bed. The other was clear across the room. I rushed over to it. I pulled one on, as I was hopping around to put the other on I saw Carlisle slowly stand from the bed. He had only a pair of jeans on. I stopped hopping and walked carefully over to him.
"Carlisle, I had an amazing time last night. But, I really don't think that it's a good idea for them to know about this." I hoped he heard the yet I didn't verbalize.
"Bella, they already know. Before you blow up or break down, I can't hide anything from my sons. They know me too well, if the boys know then it's almost a guarantee that the girls know." He said in a soothing voice. I stood there for a split second.
"Oh, they… they know….How did they react?" I asked quietly. Looking down at the toes of my shoes.
"Very well actually. They were happy for me." I looked back up in surprise he was walking toward a dresser.
"They weren't angry? Or weirded out?" I asked astonished. I then remembered my manners. "Not that I'm embarrassed to be with you or anything, I'm really not. Embarrassed, I mean." I said and blushed. I'm just making this worse now.
"No I understand, and no they weren't. They were just happy I found someone. Especially Emmett." He said while pulling on a tight fitting white V-neck. I looked away remembering how it felt to have those arms around me. Almost as if he were hearing my thoughts, I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me against his chest my hands splayed across his chest and I looked up at him.
"I know this," he paused, "relationship is different. But, I think we can make it work. I want us to make this work." He said. I looked down again, he wants this. The thought made me smile. He lifted my chin with his cool fingers.
"Do you want this to work?" he asked me, his gaze never leaving mine.
"More than anything." I said. He smiled and kissed me. I let my arms wrap around his neck and deepened the kiss. He smiled mid-kiss which made me smile. "More than anything, this is what I want."
There was a knock at the door, my head snapped toward the door and my breath hitched in my throat.
"Who is it?" he called. I gave him a panicked look. He smiled.
"It's Rose, Carlisle, the hospital keeps calling, asking you to come in. What should I tell them?" she asked.
"We'll be out shortly, tell them I'm unable to come in until my scheduled time today." He called to her.
"Okay." She said. I smacked him on the chest.
"You didn't have to tell them I was in here!" I hissed.
"What did you plan to do crawl out the window and walk home? Isabella, they already know you're here. Alice walked in to tell me they were home." He said.
I blushed a deep crimson, "That's embarrassing." I said and buried my face in his hard chest. I felt him shake with silent laughter.
"Don't worry about it love, your body was covered as was mine. She didn't see anything." His face was so reassuring. I couldn't change what had already happened.
"Okay, let's go meet the family. I guess." I would just have to accept the fact that this wouldn't stay a secret for long.
He took my hand and spun me around then pulled me back close to him.
"I think that would be a terrific Idea. My Isabella." He smiled and nuzzled my neck. He started to tickle me and I squirmed away from him, giggling.
"Let's go Dr. Carlisle." I said. He took my hand again and led me out the door and down stairs to the living room. I looked up from the floor to find Edward Cullen and Rosalie Hale watching me from their positions on the couch. Rosalie had her legs thrown over Edward's lap and she was playing with his hair. I froze. Carlisle hadn't noticed them yet. I let go of his hand and folded mine in front of me. Carlisle finally saw his adoptive children.
"Edward, Rosalie, This is Bella, I believe you may have met before."
"Hello, Bella." Rosalie said. They both stood and walked over to me. Rosalie held her hand out for me and I shook it. Edward followed suit.
"Nice to see you again Bella. I believe we have one or two classes together." He said as he shook my hand.
"Is this the girl that stole Carlisle's heart?" I heard a voice from the kitchen. I turned around and saw the biggest of Carlisle's children, Emmett. "Thank you so much for giving the old man someone to talk to, other than himself of course." He said and picked me up in a fierce hug.
I squeaked and I heard Carlisle clear his throat. Emmett set me on my feet again and before I could say anything Alice walked in with Jasper and a woman I hadn't met before.
"Emmett you really need to work on your people skills. Bella doesn't know you at all! Hello again Bella! We had a class together last year." Alice beamed.
"Bella. A pleasure to meet you." Jasper said still standing next to the woman.
"Thank you, Emmett. I think you're right, Alice. Nice to meet you too Jasper." I paused Carlisle's face was unreadable. "I don't guess I've met you." I said, walking over to the woman and held out my hand to her. "I'm Bella, Carlisle's…" I trailed off.
"Girlfriend. I'm Esme." She had taken my hand, my eyes went wide and I yanked my hand back.
"As in your ex-wife?" I looked back at Carlisle. My face became hard.
"Isabella, you don't understand-" I turned away from him cutting him off. I stalked off toward the garage. I stopped in front of Edward.
"Edward, would you please take me home?" I asked. He looked back and forth between Carlisle and myself.
"Sure. I'll be just a moment. I need to go get my shoes." He said and he hurried up stairs.
I went out into the garage on the verge of tears. I just knew this was too good to be true. Why the hell is she even here if they were divorced?
I angrily searched the walls for the garage door button. When I found it, I slammed it down and waited next to the door. I heard the door open and close.
"Thanks for taking me home, Edward. I really…" I turned and saw it wasn't Edward. It was Carlisle.
"Isabella, let me explain. There's nothing going on between Esme and I."
"Then why the hell is she casually walking through your house? I thought I meant something to you!" I hissed at him.
"Isabella please listen to me. Esme isn't here for me she's here for Edward, Rosalie, Alice, Emmett, and Jasper. She still comes over here to see them as much as they go to see her in her home." He said.
"She's here all the time?" I whimpered I was broken again. I needed to get home.
"Carlisle, just tell her. Or I can" I looked back to see Esme.
"Esme, this really doesn't seem like a good time, please go back inside." Carlisle said firmly.
"No, Carlisle tell me. What should I know that you haven't said?" I asked angrily tears forming in my eyes.
"I don't know what to say." He looked at Esme. My heart ached I turned away from him and started walking.
"Isabella-"
"Bella stop!" Esme ran after me. She stopped in front of me and put her hands on my shoulders. "I'm here for Jasper. Not Carlisle. Yeah, I love my foster kids but they're more like friends that kids. Jasper is the reason Carlisle and I decided to divorce. I'm Jasper's girlfriend. That's why I'm always here. I know it's crazy and unethical but, I'm hoping you can relate to that. Given your relationship with Carlisle." I was speechless.
I could understand now why she was there. But I was also having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that she was dating her foster child. I couldn't be so hypocritical I was dating her ex-husband. I turned to look at Carlisle, who was watching me closely and he looked as if he was broken too. I took a few steps toward him and broke into a wobbly run. Heels suck. I threw my arms around him and felt into his.
"I'm sorry." I cried. He buried his face in my neck.
"Please don't be I should have told you before this happened." She whispered. "Please don't cry, my Isabella. I'll take you home."
