You Are One/The Mark of the Ruler
They could feel each other, everything one did, the other reacted. It started to worry Kol, what if while in battle, Kol is hurt severally and Bonnie stops fighting just to save him? He couldn't allow that to happen. The battle was only a week off and not only was being in sync with his progeny taking a toll on training, but she wasn't nearly as ready to fight the witch's coven as she should be. So he called in another witch, one that helped him betray Bonnie about of month or so ago. She owed him so many favors, he practically owned her. From saving her life to giving her his mother's immortality spell. Quinn arrived at the Mikaelson Mansion and was let in by Rebekah, who was worried herself about this bond the Ender and her older brother had. It was creepy and strange and she didn't like it. Because of it, they could all end up dead. They held the meeting while Klaus was gone. His two cents weren't needed in the matter and on this as well as many other things dealing with ancient rituals, witches and anything else, Kol had more knowledge than Klaus did. While daggered, a few witches put a spell on him, it allowed him to hear what was going on through of the ages. So he never missed a step. After the battle, Kol even discussed with Bonnie leaving town, permanently. She hadn't given him an answer. She couldn't have been thinking it over. What was there to think about? First class ticket out of the danger zone or be supernatural bait for an eternity. It was a no-brainer.
"I was in the middle of something," Quinn remarked causing Rebekah to slam her into the nearest wall, her forearm pressed to the witch's throat.
"Listen to me and listen to me good, Quinn! My family and my friend are in a bit of a crisis do to your psychotic brothers and sisters, so I don't particularly care if you were getting your legs waxed, shaving a puppy or having a three-way with the president and his chief-of-staff. I don't care if you were at funeral, raising your dead lover because you're lonely. When we say come, you COME! Do I make myself clear?" Rebekah growled. Quinn struggled to breathe while under Rebekah's grip but she nodded anyway. The blonde original released the blonde witch from her grasps and walked back into the living room with Kol and Bonnie. Quinn was about five foot-five, small framed with hazel eyes and blonde hair. She looked like an adorable cabbage patch kid but anyone who knew Quinn knew she was anything but adorable. Her powers were incredible. She controlled them with ease, made them work for her. Bonnie was standing, pacing back and forth, her mind was going a mile a minute. She was trying to figure out how she and Kol are linked together, why should could feel everything he felt and the same for him. Blood sharing with him was intense. She didn't understand any of it. Kol could sense Bonnie's anxiety. He turned to see if the witch has arrived, he smiled when she notice that she had. "Quinn, thank you for coming. I hope Rebekah wasn't too rough with you." The older original greeted. Quinn plastered a fake smile on her face.
"Nothing I'm not used to, Kol. You should know that by now." The blonde witch smirked, retrieving her spell book. Bonnie scowled at the both of them, Kol felt it and quickly changed the subject.
"Yes, well we need you to figure out what's going on with Bonnie and Kol. It's like we feel each other's emotions. Blood sharing is this intense sensation. If I got hurt on the battlefield, Bonnie would likely stop her fight with the person she must defeat just to save me or vice versa. Neither of which can happen."
"You are one, Kol. There's nothing I can do about that. You feel each other because you're in love with each other. A year ago, she was in love with you, you broke her heart. She falls into the arms of Damon Salvatore. She's here now, with your ancient vampire blood in her system. Sired to your line, by you."
"So it's like a sire bond? He can tell me what do and I do it?" Bonnie questioned. Quinn shook her head.
"No, actually it's something more intense than a sire bond. More intimate. This bond you two have is formed through the spirits. It's special and it's rare. The only other original to have a bond like this was Elijah and he had it with Celeste and she was a witch." Quinn replied.
"So basically what you're saying is this was giant waste of time and I can get rid of you and your annoying presence?" Rebekah cut in, Quinn just rolled her eyes and ignored the blonde original.
"Can this be controlled?" Kol asked.
"I can do some research, I just need time—"
"We don't have time! Bonnie battles the witches' coven in least than a week. We have more problems than we have time. I say we just go in and set the warlocks and bitches and whatever else is there to fire, get it done and over with. We're running out of options. This is the best one we have."
"Rebekah, you know that is the stupidest plan to ever be thought of and it'll get us all killed. We're trying to survive this."
"Try giving into your feelings. That may work. Stop repressing what you're feeling. Both of you. Bonnie, you're afraid of being hurt again, Kol you've never anything real in the love department. Try giving up the tough exterior and give into what you're feeling."
Bonnie and Kol looked at each other then turned their heads from each other, Bonnie crossed her arms over her chest. Asking them to give into hurt, pain, love, ecstasy and whatever else, was like asking a politician to tell the truth. It wasn't going to happen. Bonnie lead Quinn out on to the patio. "You're holding something back. I maybe only have been a witch-in-training when my grandmother died but she taught a thing or two about vibes and I'm getting something from you. You're holding information back and trust me! I don't care how painful you are or how skilled you claimed to be. I don't care if you could pull the moon from the night's sky and prove that it's made of cheese, you better tell me what the fuck you're keeping from us or I swear to the heavens above, I will you're life." The newborn vampire threatened.
"Anya can still rise without your blood. She'll need doppelganger blood. If she learns of your bond with Kol she will use that against the both of you. If you don't give in right now at least try to fight the urge to protect each other. While it's a great advantage, it's also a great weakness."
"How we do fight something we control?!"
"Continue to lie to yourselves. Continue to tell yourself that you're heartbroken over what Damon did and not the fact you wanted Kol the whole time. Continue to tell yourself that you're upset that Damon slept with the worthless doppelganger. That is how you fight it. That is how you control it."
"I loved Damon!" Bonnie shouted. "Kol rejected me so I found someone that—"She stopped and looked down. Quinn merely smirked before walking back into the mansion to leave it. The green-eyed vampire/witch ran her fingers through her hair then sighed. She didn't understand what just happen. She just lost her voice, she barely understand the meaning of love. What Webster's defines as "passion", "admiration", "Adoration". Bonnie defines it as confusing and time consuming. Heart breaking and annoying as fuck! Did she just go up to Kol and say "I'm going to give into the feelings that I've repressed for so long. I'm going to be with you and say that yes, I'm in love with you. It's always going to be you for some stupid reason. I can't stop loving you." According to Quinn that's exactly what she was supposed to do. But it wasn't that easy. This was Kol they were talking about! Sure, she's been rejected before but the sting of it never hurts any less.
Bonnie questioned herself, her morals, her decisions, the path she chose to go down; it made her want to smack herself in the face. Her emotions were taking over in the worse way, anger to be more accurate. Angry because she was back at square one in the love department. Angry because again, she questioned and doubted her best friend since childhood. Angry because she was confused. Angry because she let Damon in and he took that for granted. She was only nineteen and been through more and have seen more than most thirty year olds. Her mother abandoned her, her father ignored her. Her "friend" used her. She had no family to turn to who could even remotely understand her pain. To top it all off, she was one with Kol. She felt everything he felt and the same for him. At the moment, she didn't know what she was feeling, except angry and confusion.
Her battle with the witches' coven was three days away and here she was trying to figure out her move.
The Seven Devils— They're called "The Seven Devils" an elite team of the witches' coven. They get in, get the information needed, and get out. The report back to head warlock, except that's how it centuries ago; during the originals time. Nowadays, "The Seven Devils" report back to Marlock, the low level warlock who gets yelled at for his stupidity on a daily basis. Many vampires who have encountered the witches' coven have encountered the Devils first, not many live to tell the tale of the event. Today was no different, Marlock sent out the team out to acquire a special and important piece of the puzzle. He found that they didn't need Bonnie's blood to awaken the ancient witch, they needed doppelganger blood. The difference between the bloodlines remained a mystery to him, doppelganger blood was so rich and farthest thing from rare but he told the Seven Devils to retrieve Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce, which they did. They found Elena with Damon, "how cute; the Ender's lover and best friend betrays her like she betrayed her own kind." Zachary, the leader snarked. Lisa, Second in command rolled her eyes and drugged Elena, then tossed her out of the window. Gregory, Markus, Jessup, Robert and Taylor made sure Damon didn't wake up for a while with their own drug only Lisa knew about. Since becoming leader of the Seven Devils, Zachary thought he was better than everyone. He could do whatever he wanted and get away with it, he could say anything to them and they just take it. He thought he was king. The other six thought differently and decided to get rid him.
After throwing Elena out of the window, Lisa turned around and paralyzed Zachary with a light touch to the middle of his forehead. Gregory then drugged him with the same drugged they used on Damon.
"What about Marlock?" Robert asked.
"We all know the Ender's going to kill him. He's too arrogant for his own good and he'll think he can take her in his sleep. Marlock's going to die and so is Morin. The coven will belong to the Ender and Anya will never rise. As long as we keep the doppelgangers out of site. Gregory, Decapitate Zachary, Taylor hide Katherine, the rest of us will hide the human and make sure she's not found until the Ender's wins the battle and kills Anya." Lisa told them. The group broke apart and did as they were told.
The Mark of the Ruler—Bonnie woke up in horrible daze. She wasn't in her own bed, in fact she was on the other side, looking at the other witches. Her grandmother, her ancestors, everyone. She wasn't sure what she should do. "Um…what's going on? Am I dead?" Bonnie asked the others, but they didn't answer, they just split apart from each other, like red sea. Bonnie walked forward and stopped upon her ancestor Anya Bennett, the witch she had to kill in order to end the witches' coven, the Ender prepared herself for a fight. Anya merely laughed. "Relax yourself, child. I am not here to fight you." The Ancient witch revealed. "In fact, I do not wish to be disturbed. I do not wish to kill the vampires of this earth, they will destroy themselves eventually."
Bonnie let down her defenses and glared at the elder witch, she didn't believe a word she was saying. "I was told you wanted to end all vampires and wouldn't stop at anything until there wasn't a trace of them left. If you don't want to be disturbed and rather they destroy themselves, why was such a lie made up about you?" Bonnie asked. Anya took a deep breath while tilting her head up, gazing at the younger witch. "You have a point. A thousand years on the other side, I've watched the destruction vampires have brought about this earth. Lives taken too early, children, babies and teenagers turned into orphans. I've even witnessed a vampire feeding on a child's blood, an infant's blood. You tell me, if you were witnessing all of this, would you not want the species wipes off of the planet?!" Anya yelled. Bonnie pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth, she remained silent as Anya continued.
"Fear washing over humans faces whenever they saw the demonic faces of the immortals ones—
"Humans have burned the innocent just like vampires have killed the innocent! Neither species is above or better than the other." Bonnie interrupted the witch. "Some humans are worse than vampires. While you were watching and judging the vampires for the indiscretions have you watched the humans, themselves? Have you watched the witches? Have you watched the werewolves? No species is better than the next. If you're going to commend one, commend them all. Sharks kill when they smell blood. Dogs attack humans when given a specific order." Anya listened to young witch and thought upon her words, she was right. Vampires aren't the worse species on the earth.
"By your logic, you're saying we should end all life on earth."
"No, by your logic you're saying we should end all life on earth. I'm saying, condemn them all. Not just one because you feel a certain way about them. I guess I've had a change of heart toward them myself."
Anya took another deep breath and nodded her head. "As I was saying previously, I do not wish to be disturbed, they for when they come to awaken me. You will strip me of my power, making me human and you will kill me. It's already written in stone, therefore it will happen."
"The future can change."
"Not a witch's future. The Witches' coven will be under your rule and you will be the first vampire to rule over the coven." Anya stepped aside and revealed Bonnie fighting the coven, a grey star on her forehead. Klaus, laid on the on the ground, missing his heart. Tyler, Caroline, Damon and Stefan had their bodies torn in half. "Beware young Ender, for the coven is skilled." Rebekah was torn limb from limb. Bonnie and Kol remained the only two fighting. Elena and Katherine where nowhere to be found. "The mark of the Coven's Ruler."
"I don't want to rule the coven!" Bonnie yelled.
"You have no choice. It's in your blood, your destiny."
Bonnie sat up quickly and looked around. She quickly called Caroline to make sure she was okay, ran to Rebekah's bedroom to see if she were okay along with Stefan and Klaus. When she knew everyone was okay, she walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror where she saw the same mark on her forehead from her dream. Bonnie released a loud scream.
xXx
The Long Awaited Prophecy-Lisa dragged Elena into an isolated room with her older doppelganger, dropping her to the ground then walking out. The younger look-a-like began to stir awake, jumping at the sights of Katherine who wasn't handcuffed unlike herself. "What am I doing here?! What are you up to, Katherine?!" The sassier doppelganger just rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
"I'm not up to anything. The fight between the coven and your witchy friend is about to happen. I thought you would have known that." Katherine sneered, Elena looked away, wordlessly telling her ancestor that she had no idea. Katherine just began to laugh, "So Bonnie finally wised up and kicked "poor Elena" to the unforgiving curb." Katherine laughed, Elena swallowed harshly which did not fail to reach the elder's vampire hearing. She turned on her heels watching the human pull her knees to her chest, "there's more to the story." The Bulgarian native observed, she looked at the clothes, took in the familiar male scent, a smirk slipped over her cherry red lips. Elena's silence was telling the story her mouth never would and Katherine heard every word.
"You realize this is just the beginning right? When Bonnie is finished with the intended mission landed in front of her, she will take over the Coven. It will be under her command. She will be unstoppable. You will no longer no Bonnie Bennett, the teenage witch hero who comes to your rescue whenever you need you! You will no longer have a way out of your foolish choices! Bonnie won't be there for you anymore, Elena. You'll be all alone and to ensure it, she's going to turn you and make you watch as she rips Damon limb from limb, the witches on the other side are going to torture him with no merciless end. Then you, my dear doppelganger are going to feel her wrath. For an eternity, you will feel her pain as she kills every descendent of the Gilbert Family tree. You, Elena, you no longer mean anything to her and you know it. Is that why you can't look me in the eye Elena?! Is it because you can't stay the sight of yourself? Or is it because you see Bonnie when you look into my eyes. You see the hurt and the pain you caused her! ANSWER ME, ELENA!" Katherine yelled at the younger doppelganger, who was in tears. Her heart beat was racing as her ancestor laughed at her. Elena felt like she was in a nightmare, wishing, hoping and praying that soon she would wake up.
Was Bonnie really going to kill Damon just to get back her? Was she going to wipe her family clean off the face of the earth? Leaving nothing more than a forgotten history? Was that going to be the new Bonnie or was it Katherine's way of getting under her skin?
Elena ran her fingers through her long brunette tresses and looked up at Katherine, her eyes filled with tears but before Katherine began to split in two. At least that's what she was seeing, her ancestor on one side and an unknown person on the other. Her hair was long, brown and her eyes matched Bonnie's perfectly. Katherine fell to the ground, her hair draped across her face. "Who—who are you?!" Elena stammered. The woman looked at the girl and smirked, her green eyes pierced her soul.
"I am Qetisyah and I'm going make sure the long awaited prophecy is fulfilled. The older Salvatore's death and a headless doppelganger to tie it perfectly together. I'm going to enjoy this, Elena. More than you can ever imagine." She smirked at the living doppelganger and disappeared.
Tell me what you think?
The Qetisyah plot is going to be different from the show but it will take place 3,000 years ago and it's still coming together.
She also looks like Kerry Washington with emerald green eyes.
